Very nice story .....but was a little predictable in the end. The best part of this story was that you have used simple language which even my 6 yr old son would understand.

I was moved by the story... I can't believe the story is fiction because I have a first hand experience of a devastating earthquake. I witnessed a dead Mother hugging her 2 years old daughter to protect her from falling debris of the building. (July 1990 earthquake in the Philippines). Totally heart breaking sight. You captured the heart of the readers....KUDOS!
