It was great that you took time and pointed out the exact changes that needs to be done.

I saw your note in the forum and decided to drop by for a visit. Your story was very good as far as characters and plot development. I like how you used the teacher and her students to tell the story. Really I could only find fault with some choices when it came to word usuage and I feel that probably English isn't your first language and this is where the problems come into play. I don't mean this in a bad way. I'm very impressed with what you have. It is fairly easy to find someone who can help you with the little changes that I saw were needed. I'll go ahead and point out a few for you from the first half of the story just to show you what I'm looking at.

> "Good morning, Mam", the children greeted in chorus. (Comma goes inside quote.)

"So how was your weekend? Rose asked her students inquisitively. (Don't need inquisitively)

Children were over enthusiastic . . . some went for bike ride . . . (The children were over enthusiastic . . . some went for a bike ride . . .

The interest she showed towards the kids . . . (The interest she showed in the kids.)

"Please narrate it to us." The students requested her. ("Please tell us," the students requested.)

She said, "Children this is a real time story, which I myself have seen in my life. (She said, "Children, this is a true story which I myself have seen.)

After every mischief, he was explained very well that he should not do it, but there ws no effect, . . .<

After every mischief he was told he should not do it, but it had no effect, . . . Or . . . he was told not to do it, . . .

. . . in order to improve John. (. . . in order to help John.)

. . . John ate up his (Martin's) lunch from his box . . . (John ate all of Martin's lunch from his box . . .)

He usually used to do that and enjoyed when . . . (Don't need usually)

. . . and handed over to him. (handed it over to him.)

. . . "Where from do you get such patience?" (Don't need from)

. . . "I do not fight back my friends. (I do not fight with my frinds.)

Your story is a memorable one about friendship. I liked it.

Most of your story was quite strong. I thought your beginning might bring the reader in more if you started the story a little differently. The story the teacher told and the end were exceptional.

A touching story Adita, that captured the essence of a deep friendship. I remember my son befriending a little boy at his nursery and telling me - aged four - that this would be his friend for ever. They're still friends seventeen years later. Your little boys weren't so lucky but their friendship withstood the storm even though their lives didn't. It was very believable.

Teaching by example is the most effective method. Being a friend when putting oneself in danger is the greatest friendship of all..thank you for the reminder...Paula

This was the kind of story, I will read to my children. Some of the feelings between characters seems so real.

I find this to be a very strong piece on morals.
