This was a great read. The second-person perspective and italicized thought interruptions literally put you in the story. It made the panic as real as if I were feeling it myself. It was cataclysmically original and stylish. There were a few conventional errors.

This was quite different from your other work, and I have to say, the second-person perspective was exactly the right touch and far more effective, I think, than the more conventional first- or third-person style of narrative. It allowed the ending to be possible, for one thing. For another, it gives the reader a greater sense of observation.

Once again, I'm in awe. Thank yo for yet another triumph - woo-hoo!
