Down on the river of blood

They hunted him,

insulted him,

spat on him

and stripped

naked down the river,

pulled out their knives

and stabbed him

said the black man should die

he pleaded and begged,

for minutes,

for hours,

but they said

the black man should die

down on the river ,

down on the river of blood

so many have already died,

and nobody knew their names,

nobody wanted to know them,

nobody has ever seen them again in

the beautiful white city

Depressions

I don't like anything anymore

I can no longer sleep and speak,

I sit around in the dark,

the dead silence inside of me,

life rages outside,

I feel useless and unloved,

driven out and ugly,

keep drinking into the next crappy day

the silence becomes

more and more a part of me,

the silence makes me lose my hearing,

I often lie awake

and wonder what I should do here,

I play with the thought of just running away

the coffee doesn't taste good,

i can't remember anything anymore,

wanted to go to the city

and forgot the timetable,

sit around, stuck,

no moments that are good,

my gray turns black

i get dressed because i have to,

i write friends because i have to,

i keep going because
