Haunted

New school.

New home.

New life.

New friends.

And most importantly a fresh start away from what he had caused.

Dimitri felt like nothing special just an ordinary 17 year old moving away from everything he’d ever known and loved. His mom thought he had anger issues because his mom and dad got divorced two months ago. Sure he had been acting different and causing a few fights in his old school but that’s still no reason for his mom to ship him off to a private boarding school 30 minutes away from his home in Cleveland. His mom thought it for the best because of what he had done.

The whole trip up to the stupid school had been in utter silence in the car. Dimitri’s mom still couldn’t look at him straight in the face. He thought it was because she was afraid of him. The only good thing about starting this school is it’s at the start of the semester and it’s a mixed gender school. He didn’t think he could have survived if it was an all boy’s school.

“Mom, come on. Just talk to me.” Still nothing. He had pleaded and begged for her to talk to him but it’s been almost three weeks since she’s not talked.

Dimitri was finally at his new school. It didn’t look too bad. The building looked new and wasn’t falling apart. He liked it so far. His mom stopped the car outside the dorm house were he would spend his next year, unloaded his stuff and got back inside her car. Dimitri got out and moved his suitcases to the front door. She rolled down her window ready to say something but instead she waved and drove right off. No ‘goodbye’ or ‘I’ll miss you’ just nothing. Even though he suspected she would do something like that he was still in shock when a hand gripped his shoulder. Dimitri nearly punched the guy behind him but the guy had amazing reflexes.

“Easy. I was just going to ask you your name so I can show you your room.” He didn’t know why he nearly attacked everyone that looked at him recently but he did and he couldn’t help himself.

“Sorry. Instant thought when a hand grips your shoulder.” The guy holding the clip board smiled back at him. Dimitri felt better knowing the guy wasn’t holding a grudge. He cleared his throat. “My names Dimitri Young.”

“Hi Dimitri, welcome to Andrews Osborne Academy, I’m Cole and I’ll be in charge of the Crosby dorm. Any questions or any problems you come to me.” He couldn’t believe this guy was in charge, I mean he only looked a year older than Dimitri. Cole was a little shorter than him and looked like he worked out in a gym seven days of the week; he also had sandy blonde hair and hazel eyes and had a tan like he lived in California or something.

“Yeah, I have a question. Do I really have to share with Skater boy?” Dimitri instantly turned around, recognizing the voice straight away. He couldn’t believe he was looking at his best friend, Jake. He hadn’t seen him in over a year. Jake’s family moved but he didn’t know Jake moved to a boarding school. He looked different; his hair was shorter and looked almost black now. Jake was also taller and had more mussels but the one thing that hadn’t changed was how blue his eyes were.

Dimitri started laughing knowing this was going to be one fun semester until he saw the ghost of the girl he was accused of killing.

Chapter 1

Haunting me.

After seeing the ghost Dimitri was happy to be in his new room with Jake. There were several houses in the campus but Dimitri’s and Jake’s house was called The Crosby dorm. That was the smallest dorm on the whole campus but the good thing about The Crosby dorm was it was only for seniors. Dimitri’s room was on the second floor, number 5. When he opened the door with his own set of keys he couldn’t believe his emerald green eyes. The room was bigger than his old bedroom. It was large enough for four people to live in but he liked that it was only two. The room had two double beds in them, a desk, a wardrobe, a set of drawers and a window of a view of the beach which they were allowed to go to at the weekends. Dimitri and Jake also had a cupboard each and a sink in the room. Dimitri thought his mom was sending him to hell not heaven. But he had that thought too soon. On his desk was his class schedule. He couldn’t remember picking his subjects for here but then he realised his mom must have picked them for him. When he looked at them he was surprised to see that he liked all of his subjects.

Period 1 – English (He liked English and was good at writing poetry which always won the girls over but he  didn’t want to think about girls at this moment.)

Period 2 – P.E (Every boy’s favourite subject.)

Period 3 – Chemistry (You got to blow things up.)

Break

Period 4 – Study (aka goofing off.)

Period 5 – Maths (Not his favourite subject but not his worst.)

Period 6 – French (He was good at speaking French.)

Lunch

Period 7 – History (He had always enjoyed learning about the past.)

Period 8 – Drama (He loved pretending to be someone else.)

End of Lessons

He was still looking at his schedule when Jake walked in to his room. At first he didn’t even notice him until he took the piece of paper out of hand and started comparing his to Dimitri’s. He started laughing when he saw he had drama class.

“Why on earth did you pick drama?” Jake had never cared about what he got on tests or what his attitude was towards the teachers but Dimitri was different he looked deeper in to his soul and was always a good boy that was until three weeks ago.

“Yeah I didn’t have a choice in my subjects. My mom thought it would be funny putting me in such a shit class.” The truth was after everything that had happened he really couldn’t care about getting good grades or having respect for teachers or going to classes he once used to love, all he cared about now was to forget about the dead girl he had just seen.

“Earth to Skater boy. I said the bathroom’s down the hall and the TV’s down stairs next to the girl’s dorm.” He wiggled his eyebrows which made Dimitri laugh. He had forgotten all about the dead girl and everything else that had happened.

Later on Dimitri and Jake were all unpacked and catching up when a very small and cheerful girl walked straight in the room. She reminded Dimitri as a small pixie. She had the pixie features to her face and had a black pixie hair cut. The pixie also walked like a ballerina dances; elegant and gracefully. She looked at Dimitri with her little brown eyes with curiosity. Dimitri looked at Jake who just shrugged and walked over to the girl. Jake was at least a foot taller than the girl but she still managed to slap him full force on the jaw. Dimitri didn’t know where to look. He wasn’t sure if he should leave them or if he should stay and watch the show. He decided to stay. Jake grabbed his jaw and looked at the little pixie with huge eyes and a shocked expression. The girl looked very angry, she had her hands on her hips and her face was turning a red colour.

“You think your soooo cleaver Jake Mathews but you’re not. Just because you’re my step brother doesn’t give you the right to nearly sleep and break all my friends’ hearts during the summer. Especially Lisa! What did she ever do to you? I mean you broke up with her when she was going through a rough time. That’s low Jake even for you.”

The little pixie was furious and Jake seemed a little smug with what she had said. Dimitri stared at Jake and the girl. He remembered her now, Jake’s mom remarried to Jakes step dad who already had a daughter the same age. She looked young for her age but she was very intelligent. Dimitri recalled her name to be either Emily or Ever or something else. They were still just looking at each other until Jake started speaking to her.

“Okay. I admit it; I was a selfish, horrible boyfriend towards Lisa. She didn’t deserve what I did to her especially after everything that she had been through the past year. But Emily your friends are hot, so I’m not going to apologise for any of that.”

That just got Jake another slap in the mouth. He was doing so well up until that point.

“Just stay the hell away from Clare!”

“Like I would want to go out with the girl that never speaks!” Dimitri couldn’t help but wonder why the girl they were talking about didn’t speak. Dimitri remembered when he tried the silent treatment when his friend died.

Emily was about to leave the room when her eyes lay upon Dimitri. It was like she had just noticed he was in the room lying on his bed. Her eyes twinkled at the sight of him which just made Jake uncomfortable. Emily walked straight over to Dimitri’s bed and sat at the edge.

“Hey Dimitri. Long time no see. It’s been like what? Two years? You look great. So you have a girlfriend?”

Dimitri didn’t know what to say to any of that especially when a dead ex girlfriend was watching you at the door. He wasn’t sure to look at her or to look at Emily. He decided to block the dead girl out his head by concentrating on Em.

“Yeah I’m good Em. I know it’s been too long, feels longer than nearly two years.”

He would have carried on talking if it wasn’t for Jake’s moaning and the ghost talking to Dimitri. No matter how many times he blinked his eyes she wouldn’t go away. He hadn’t saw the ghost in nearly a whole week but this was the first time he’d saw her outside of his old home. She usually liked to surprise him while he was sleeping. Maybe this was his punishment for what he had done. Maybe he deserved to be haunted for the rest of his life. He sure felt like he deserved it anyway.

“Dimitri’s been a bad boy.” The ghost sang to him.

That voice had haunted him for two weeks straight. It still sent shivers up his spine. She was still wearing the clothes she had died in. The low riding jeans that Dimitri couldn’t keep his eyes off of when he first saw her in them, the black tight top that left nothing to the imagination, the ankle heels and the necklace Dimitri had bought her and gave to her the night she died in his arms. He soon snapped back to the present where Emily and Jake were looking at him with confused eyes. So he continued to answer Emily.

“I used to have a girlfriend but it ended a few weeks ago.”

Technically that wasn’t a lie. Sara had passed away three weeks ago. Emily didn’t ask any more questions after he said that but he could tell she was wanting to ask what happened between the two of them and the truth was he would lie about it. He thought his mom had sent him here to punish him but the truth was his mom had sent him here to try and get over the death of Sara.

“Aww, is little scared boy thinking about me? You think about how I died? Well keep thinking. I’m not going away until you pay Dimitri. Think about that.”

Just like that she disappeared in to thin air. Dimitri did what Sara said and thought about that night. How they were madly in love. How the night was perfect. How they were holding hands and walking with a full moon out. How her blonde hair blew about in the breeze and fell perfectly back in place. Dimitri had thought about this over and over again. He would have thought about it more if it wasn’t for a loud roaring sound coming from outside. Emily was still sitting on his bed staring at him but Jake was gone. The roar started up again, making Dimitri curious. He got up from his bed and made his way to the window, were he saw a motorbike pulling up outside the house. A few people were already outside cheeking out the bike and to deep down Dimitri really wanted to go out and check it out too.

“You want to check the motorcycle out, don’t you?”

Emily was smiling at him and just by that smile he knew he would be fine at his new school. Em took his hand and ran down stairs with him. Not that many people had arrived yet, but Dimitri thought to himself that everyone who had arrived was outside. The only person he couldn’t see was Jake. He wondered where he had gone. He stopped wondering when the driver got off their motorbike and started to take off their helmet. Dimitri was more shocked than anybody because it was a girl! He thought for sure that the bike belonged to a guy. That might have sounded sexist but that was Dimitri’s first thought was.

“Hey Clare.” Emily ran straight over to her.

Dimitri didn’t know what to do so he just followed Emily. When he arrived to the girl with the bike she didn’t smile or say hi. She never did anything. Even her eyes looked empty. Apart from that she was really pretty. She had jet black hair. Clare was tall and thin but not too thin. Her lips sat in a pout and she had very rosy cheeks. She was also very tanned. Dimitri couldn’t keep his eyes away from her chest area though, not because her breasts were there, but because the necklace he got handmade for Sara, Clare was wearing.

“So how are you, Clare?” Every time Emily spoke to Clare she wouldn’t answer back. The only thing Clare done was shrug her shoulders to Emily. Dimitri thought it was strange but Emily seemed to have known she wasn’t going to answer even though she kept asking questions.

“Yeah I know how you feel. Anyway I found out me and you are sharing a room this year. That’ll be great, huh?” Again Clare just nodded her head while Emily kept talking. It was a nervous thing she done Dimitri noticed. “So? Is your brother coming by later to pick up your motorcycle?” Again it was a nod from Clare’s head.

“Clare! Inside now!” A shorter girl that looked a lot like Clare but with shorter and lighter hair walked over to us. Unlike Clare she talked, but Dimitri preferred the one that didn’t talk. He soon found out it was Clare’s younger sister. It made sense to him considering they looked identical except for the hair. They could have passed as twins but Clare’s sister did look younger.

“Jess, I’m talking. She’ll go inside when she wants to.” Emily looked like she wanted to hit Jess. Dimitri didn’t know where to look. He was feeling very uncomfortable, Clare looked even more uncomfortable.

“I don’t give a monkeys ass! Inside. Now. Clare!!” The girl Jess was very annoying with a squeaky high pitched voice. Dimitri just wished she would just shut the fuck up. What shocked him the most was that Clare went to her sister. She pasted Dimitri and locked eyes with him. In that moment Dimitri had never been more hypnotised as her two eyes were different colors and beautiful. Her left eye was bright green and her right eye was a smoky grey. They were the most beautiful eyes Dimitri had even seen. Her eyes quickly disappeared as her sister grabbed her arm and shoved her in the dorm.

“Stay the hell away from her! You understand?” She may be little but Clare’s younger sister sure made Dimitri a little scared of her. Her eyes showed she was protective but also threatening at the same time.

Even though Jess had warned Dimitri away from Clare, he knew that he had to see those beautiful eyes again even if that meant him getting kicked in the balls off of the protective sister. That was a price he was willing to pay.

She sat on the wall watching her ex-boyfriend and the girl that had her necklace stare into each other’s eyes which made her sad and angry at the same time. How dare he? It had only been 3 weeks since she died! How could he think of another girl in that way? Why couldn’t she still be alive and have her boyfriend? Life wasn’t fair! She wanted her necklace back and she wanted Dimitri to pay no matter what the cost.

Chapter 2

Clare couldn’t believe how her sister had treated her in front of everyone. It had just been over 2 years that she hadn’t spoken but that didn’t give Jess the right to speak to her like that.

Flashback

“Dad! Dad! DAD!!!!!!!!” Clare had walked in on her father lying on the ground with a bottle of vodka in one hand and a bottle of pills in the other. Clare ran over to him and tried to wake him up. She even stuck her fingers down his throat to make him throw up the pills but it was too late. Arthur Cunningham had been dead for 5 hours. Clare then grabbed her phone out of her pocket and dialled ‘911.’

10 hours later…

“Clare?” Jess had tried to speak to her older sister but it was no use, Clare was there but there was no one home. It was like trying to talk to a brick wall. Clare looked at her sister and whispered “I’m so sorry.” And began to cry all over again. No one knew why Arthur had committed suicide, he hadn’t left a note to say why or even a simple goodbye to his 3 children.

1 week later…

“Clare you need to eat!” Again no one answered. James Cunningham the oldest of the 3 children had finished boarding school early after he heard the news about his father and the way his sister was acting. She wouldn’t even look at him in the eye, nor would she eat, sleep or talk. She was scaring him and James was not one to be scared easily.

A few moments had passed and the doorbell had rang, James walked away from her broken sister and answered the door. It was Clare’s so called boyfriend. He didn’t really like the guy but maybe Clare needed him and James would do anything to help her.

“Clare? It’s Dylan for you.” She didn’t say anything she just stood up from the couch and walked out the door. In that moment she walked out the door James had a bad feeling that he couldn’t shift.

4 hours later…

Ring…ring…ring…ring

Who the hell phones at 3 in the morning James thought to himself. He reached for the phone as he thought it might have been his mother. She hadn’t been in contact for 3 weeks as she worked away and was useless with technology. She still didn’t know about her ex-husband killing himself or that her daughter had found him and now was taking a nervous breakdown.

“Hello?” James only made the words car accident, bodies, Clare.

There had been a car accident with Clare, her boyfriend, and her two best friends. James had to go and identify the bodies. He was so scared. He didn’t want to look at his sister dead. What about if her body was unrecognisable? What about his mom? She wouldn’t be able to cope. All she lived for were her children. Even though they didn’t see their mom that much she gave them the world that’s why she worked away so much. Ava Trent was a good, kind hearted woman that loved her family to death. If one of her children was to pass away before she did she would walk around the earth with a broken heart until the day she died.

2 hours later…

None of the bodies were his sister. He had to identify Dylan, Megan and Lila. Another 3 people out of Clare’s life. How on earth is she going to cope James thought. Even though Clare wasn’t dead she wasn’t out of the woods yet. She had been in theatre for over 2 hours fighting for her life.

“James!? What on earth has happened? Jess said you were at the hospital and you would explain everything? What’s wrong are you hurt?” James looked at his mother and for the first time in that week he started to cry.

Clare was floating; she was able to breathe again. She was free of all her worries. All of a sudden she was being dragged away from her safe haven and back into real life. She opened her eyes and looked at her big brother James who looked tired, he must have sensed her eyes on him, when he saw her awake he smiled.

“You should have let me die.” With that Clare turned her head and never spoke another word again.

Present Day

“Really Clare? Are you seriously ignoring me?” Clare wasn’t ignoring her sister she just couldn’t help when the flashbacks came. She just shook her head at Jess and walked out of the building. The only thing Clare knew what to do in a time like this was to run. Run to a place she felt safe.

Dimitri had only been at Sara’s grave for 5 seconds when she showed up. Dimitri tried to ignore her but it was no use. He had missed her; he wanted to talk to her to hold her again. But she had changed. Losing her life when it wasn’t her time made Sara spiteful and full of hate. She wanted everyone to suffer the way that she had suffered. Like that her energy drained making herself unnoticeable to Dimitri. Even though Dimitri couldn’t see Sara he still wanted to talk to her.

“Hey Sara. I’ve missed you so much. I think about you every minute of every day. I wish I could have saved you. You didn’t deserve to die! I love you so fucking much!” Dimitri started to silently cry when he heard a high pitch scream. His first instinct was to run to the direction the scream came from. Again he heard the scream a little closer. The scream was a heart breaking scream. Dimitri knew it had come from a girl as he didn’t think it was possible to come from a man. All of a sudden he saw where the scream had come from. It was a girl kneeling in front of a grave, the only thing about the grave though was it had been vandalised. No wonder the girl screamed. If someone did that to Sara’s grave Dimitri would have screamed too he thought to himself.

“WHY???? WHAT DID YOU DO TO DESERVE THIS??? WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ME IN HELL??” Again the high pitch scream came. The flowers the girl held she threw at the headstone leaving the flowers scattered around the grave. Dimitri couldn’t help but be sad for this girl. He didn’t want to intrude but he had an urge to comfort this girl. He started to walk to her.

Snap!

Dimitri had stepped on a twig which made the girl run. She was like a deer caught in the headlights. Dimitri couldn’t help it but he ran after her, he hopped he didn’t scare her.

“Wait up! Excuse me? Please just stop!” He had finally caught up to the girl, he tripped on a rock and fell onto the girl causing Dimitri to be on top of her. She turned around to face him, Dimitri’s eyes nearly left the sockets.

“Clare?”

Chapter 3

“Clare?” Dimitri couldn’t believe his eyes. He thought this girl didn’t speak. She hadn’t even said a word to her own sister. Dimitri wondered what this girl’s story was. Maybe she was as messed up as he was.

Clare never said anything she just gave a small wave and a little smile. She couldn’t believe that he had heard her in a moment of weakness. She felt small and weak and she felt like she would never be good enough for anyone. Ever.

“I just heard you talk! Don’t bullshit me!” Clare had never been spoken to that way. It wasn’t a bad thing this boy had actually just spoken to her like she wasn’t some fragile piece of glass that was going to break.

Even though Clare had spoken she wasn’t going to speak to this stranger. She didn’t trust anyone not even herself at times. She wanted to go to her dorm and curl up into a ball and cry. She knew Jess, Emily and the other girls would go to the welcome party in the forest so she knew it would be a perfect time to cry and not show any weakness to anyone.

“Listen Emily told me you didn’t speak. She didn’t tell me why, all I know is I did the same thing when things were going ruff in my life. Your secrets safe with me that you did actually speak. I promise I won’t tell a soul.”

Clare couldn’t believe what this stranger had just told her. If it was anyone else they would have went straight to jess and told her.

Dimitri then realised he was still sitting on Clare. He quickly got off of her, he Clare finally got up she handed her phone to him. Dimitri was a little confused at the jester. She rolled her eyes at him and took her phone back off of him and put in new number contact and handed her phone back over to him. He soon realised that she wanted his number. He quickly typed in his number and handed the phone back to Clare. With that Clare left.

“Dimitri. Cute!” Clare whispered to herself and smiled.

                Later on that night…

“Are you coming to the party or not?” Jess had just barged into Emily and Clare’s room for the second time that day.

Clare shook her head no and Emily was nowhere to be found.

“Really Clare? I think you would like this party. You get to roast marshmallows on the fire!” Jess was a little excited to say the least. Again Clare shook her head at her sister.

Clare sighed looking at Jess, she looked beautiful as usual, she had curled her short hair and pinned one side which brought out her cheek bones. Her eyes really popped as she had a little eyeliner and lots of mascara to make her eyelashes huge, she finished her makeup with bright red lips. Her outfit was gorgeous as she had the figure to pull off a garage bag. It was tight red dress with black lace coming up one side; Jess finished her outfit with killer black heels with spikes at the back. Clare was jealous that her sister was so confident and ambitious and beautiful.

Clare couldn’t help feel horrible about herself as she sat on her bed with her sweatpants on and a hoddie with her hair tied in a messy bun and no makeup on. Compared to her sister she was a slob.

Jess couldn’t help feel sad for her sister. If only she would open up to her and speak. She missed Clare’s voice and her advice, she even missed Clare’s laugh. Clare used to go to parties all the time and get dressed up. There was even a time when Clare wouldn’t leave the house without her makeup on and the best of clothes, now she didn’t care. It was like she was dead inside.

“Well I’m away. If you decide to come you know where to find me. Bye.” Jess sighed and left leaving Clare by herself.

“Bye Jess.” She whispered. Clare was really tired, unpacking all day can really take it out of a girl. She decided to try and go for a sleep. She knew that it wouldn’t be a long sleep because of the nightmares but it was better than nothing. After lying down on the bed sleep eventually caught up to Clare.

Clare’s Dream…

“CLARE! OPEN THE GOD DAMN DOOR!!!” I was finally near my safe haven. I was floating again. I was free. It wouldn’t be long until I would be with my dad and my friends. Everyone at school gave me sympathy and thought I was a freak. I was better off dead.

Bang!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

BANG!!!!!

“CLARE! CLARE? PLEASE DON’T LEAVE ME!” I felt my body being lifted up. Was I finally free? Could I be at peace now? I could still feel the pain though. Wasn’t I meant to feel better? I wasn’t supposed to feel pain anymore.

“Mom, I’m at the hospital... Its Clare... She tried to kill herself… She slit her wrists and legs… The doctor said she was an inch away from the main vein that would have killed her instantly… No she’s sleeping now… She lost a lot of blood but we’ll have to keep a close eye on her. She’s not doing good, it’s been 6 months mom and she still cries herself to sleep… Yeah I agree its time she gets professional help.”

With that my brother hung up the phone. Like hell was I getting help. Why couldn’t they just let me die? Didn’t they see it was for the best?

Present Day

“Clare? Clare? Wake up!”

“No! Don’t… need...help! Stop! HELP ME!!”

“Clare please. You need to wake up! You’re having a nightmare.”

Clare eventually stopped moving and screaming and opened her eyes to face Dimitri. Why on earth was he here, Clare thought to herself? She was so confused. This was the second time in one day that he had found her talking. She couldn’t help but notice how gorgeous his big chocolate brown eyes were and how his black hair was falling in his eyes. Snap out of it Clare she said to herself.

“Are you alright?” Dimitri couldn’t help but feel sad for Clare. He knew she was having a nightmare; he had had many the past couple of weeks himself. He noticed Clare looking down at her wrists, that’s when Dimitri noticed the long white scar. It was faded which made Dimitri relax a little as she hadn’t done this anytime soon. It was faded which meant she had don’t that to herself a little while ago.

“…No... I’m not okay… I’m not.” In that moment Dimitri looked up to the voice that had spoken. Sure enough that beautiful voice had come from Clare. Dimitri looked at her beautiful eyes and saw that she was crying.

“Oh Dimitri! It’s amazing really that you can forget about me so easily. Don’t think because you couldn’t save me you can save that messed up little bitch!” With that Sara was gone. Dimitri couldn’t help but think to himself that she was right, in some way he couldn’t help Sara but maybe he could help Clare.

Without thinking about it he wrapped his arms around Clare let her cry. She was so tiny that he felt the need to protect her. He didn’t know her story and he didn’t want to know unless she wanted to speak about it.

Clare couldn’t believe that she was crying onto Dimitri’s shirt, she had never shown weakness not even in front of her own mother. So why did she show weakness with a boy she didn’t even know? Maybe it was because for once someone didn’t know her story she thought to herself. With that she stopped crying and sat up sitting away from Dimitri.

“Better?” He asked Clare.

“Yeah, I guess.” Shut up Clare! You never speak to anyone.

“Do you want to talk about it?” Please speak to me Dimitri begged in his mind. He couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. Even after crying she looked beautiful. She was nothing like her sister, Clare was naturally beautiful, and she could wear anything and make it look like a million dollars.

“No, but thank you Dimitri. You really didn’t have to stay with me.”

“Can I just ask you one thing Clare?” She couldn’t help but get butterflies when he said her name. Instead of speaking and making an idiot of herself she just nodded her head.

“Why are you speaking to me? You didn’t even speak to your own sister earlier.” She knew this question was coming and the truth was Clare didn’t know herself; all she knew was that he seemed like a nice guy that wouldn’t tell anyone. Clare stood up off of the bed about to leave her room when she turned around and looked at Dimitri.

“Cause you’re the only one who doesn’t know my story and doesn’t judge me. Yet.”

Clare left leaving Dimitri confused and a little happy at the fact that he wouldn’t find out her story if that made her speak to him more. He had a feeling that this girl was very different and he couldn’t wait to know her better.

How dare she? She’s nothing but a waste of space! What could he possibly see in her? She’s nothing like me! How can he get over me so quickly? She’s wanted to end her life over and over again, yet I die and she still lives? That’s not fair. The bitch is going down!

Sara left following Clare, hoping that she was strong enough to hurt her.
