Chapter One


It was a dark mystic night and the grass was moist and the air was drafty, it sent chills up my spin. My Pack or should I say my Dad and my brother Wade. I got the name when I was just a pup my dad call me it. The way my eyes glow when the moonlight shone on it and make it glows silver.
“Not here to look for a mat Wade, we here to get the girl this safety in the Protective Service program at The Noel’s," I pointed out.
“I know the saying, she saw what she shouldn’t have seen
“Silver come on, you just gazing on nothing we have a job to do. We need to find her soon as possible they’ll be on our tail sooner than you know, she’s kind of hot” Wade commented lifting his eyebrow up and down.
He shoves the picture in front of me looking almost hitting me in the face. She looked a little too young for eighteen and under average height. Her eyes were a tawny color; with dark brown hair was shoulder length. You can tell she never has to stand up for herself people do it for her.
“Why you frowning, she’s cute look at her tawny eyes and perfect dimples how they brighten up her face, you too serious man you in need a girl to take your mind off thing,” Wade was saying.
“Yah so you can have them I don’t think so,’ I pointed out.
“You always give them to me have ever been kissed before more than five times?” he asked and I shrug a bit.
“Yes I have end of conversation,” I said.
“You always so serious even when you were a kid you were better than now. You make such big deals out of nothing; you never have fun anymore just work, work, and work only, man you need to loosen up,” he advised me.
“Don’t get too emotional on me concentrate on the work the job we have to do.
We waited out front of Boer High School, for the girl.


Chapter Two


“Erika you have to come on, you have to ask him out we going on a trip for four months in the woods and he’ll be there too,” Mary- Jay said to me.
“I can’t, what if he says no you know I’m easy to feel embarrassed,” I said to her.
“He’s the hottest guy in school and he wants to date you, Gabriel Wolf build up your confidence a bit.”
“I can’t I have something to do,” I said.
It’s my normal routine to ditch them and go about my business during lunch. I walk into the hall and ran into the big new guy and I looked up to see a smoke gray staring at me with a smile. Then my eye ran down the features of his body he was muscled built and was the sexier version of the Terminator. A head not too big or not too small just perfect fit for his body
“Sorry,” I said backing off nervously.
“You Erika, right,” he said.
“Yes,” I answer not giving any eye contact.
“You have anything to do this Saturday,” he asked and I think my moth went wide open.
“Mm- me?” I asked surprise.
“Well you the only person in the hallway, right,” he said obviously.
“Nope bro I’m here too,” said a short long hair blond with perfect white teeth and almost tall as Gabe, had a slender body, Wade his adopted brother.
“Wade why the hell you in here shouldn't you be in class,” said Gabe.
“Yeah but I decide I wanted to skip and come to second lunch,” he said looking at me and I blushed and turned away.
“Dude you really starting to get on my nerves you know,” Gabe said.
“Ok I have to go,” I said walking off.
“Pick you up at six,” Gabe said.
Oh my gosh, he asked me out I have to tell the girls this is too good to be true. But first I have to check out the spot. Before the final bell rang for the last period I would go watch, this might sound impossible but I watch the supernatural group in an old science lab working on their power. They never saw me or see me, been cause none of them have x-ray vision and bionic hearing. Telling anybody this I would end up in Belleview that mental hospital. So I rather keep it to myself and watch it in amazement. There was Michelle the girl who walks through the wall, Nick who has Super Strength, Charlene who’s the Screamer, and lastly Jacob human Shape Shifter. But today nobody was there and I was disappointed.
After school, my best and I Mary walked home and I told her everything that happens today excepted for the supernatural.
“You didn’t freak out did you?” she asked.
“Well… I did but answered yes so that counts for something. You know my social life sucks every boy I dated we broke up like a week later to show how I’m insecure,” I said.
“Well I have a feeling you might find true love like me,” she said spinning in a circle like she had a fantasy about Cinderella at the ball.
“Oh, so you fantasizing about Wade wow. So when you going to ask him out?” I asked.
“Soon,” she mumbled and turned to me smiling.
“Why you smiling,” you might even get your first kiss,” she said poking me.
“Oh stop that,” I said to her smiling.
“He is kind of too big for you because you so tiny and delicate he might break you,” she joked.
“Really funny, Wade and you look like David and Goliath,” I laughed.
“You know it’s the opposite around Gabe look like Goliath and you look like David,” she switched it around.
“Well don’t you have the two richest bitches walking side by side?” Said a tall classy Brunette with a gawky body who wear too much make up, she’s the same girl who has my name but spell Erica.
“Erika and Mary-Jay how is your day. Let me answer that, talking about the two hottest guys in school who happens to be brothers?”
“What if we were, what you going to do about it?” said Mary.
“Oh don’t get offensive my pretty I was just inviting you two my party on this Friday night,” she said.
“Well we can’t go we have plans on Friday night,” Mary said.
“Well your dates might consider coming,” she said with a smirk on her face. “Oh yah news spread quick darlings, come on girl we have a party to plan she said walking off.
“Well isn't she witch,” said Mary starting to walk home.
“You have a date with Wade and you didn’t mention it,” I said.
“Okay I should have but we were having fun and it kind of slip my mind,” she said playing with her hand.
“Ok so what you, I’m so nervous and we haven’t even been on the date yet.”
“Its natural okay why don’t I make Wade turn it into a double date,” she said.
“I feel much better,” I said.
We walked home talking about random thingsblike what we going to wear, how kissing them would feel.


Chapter Three


Gabriel
“Man you almost made me thought you going to do something stupid when you left the car but it wasn’t stupid. I see you took my advice,” Wade smiled.
“Well I had no other way of convincing her and I overheard her friend talking about she has a crush on me so I decided to asked her out and it will be strictly business,” I said firmly.
“Me too that’s why we having a double date Friday her best friend called and asked me when you saw me on the phone earlier,” Wade said.
“Don’t get too personal with these girl Wade do not get too attack,” I warned.
“I never get attack before so why would I now, maybe you think you’ll get too attacked,” he smiled at me.
“Don’t be absurd Wade me attack to body somebody, you wrong.
“Uh-huh,” he said.
“Dad we back and we found the girl she’s ok and we keeping a close eye on her and friend too,” said Wade smiling at what he said to me.
“You two in my office,” said Dad.
As we walked in his office I saw Erika parents looking at us in concern of their daughter.
“So you two are protecting my daughter aren’t you too young to be doing this even if you not human,” said the Dad.
“Looks are deceiving Ma’am my sons are well train and they strategize every plan to save and protect their victims even to death as myself pledge to do,” Dad said.
“Look out for her please she’s our only child and we love her dearly, and we heard her talking over the phone with her best friend Mary-Jay Wallace, and she like one of your sons, I‘m guessing the smoked eye one” said her mother.
“Oh Gabriel,” said Dad looking at me.
“Um, yah I asked her out today and she agreed and don’t worry its strictly business,” I assured.
“We not say you can’t date our baby girl but don’t make anything happen to her on this trip she’s going on. The Thrill’s don’t know we have a child and I want to keep it that way,” said the dad.
“Yes, sir,” I said getting out as soon as possible.
Wade and I went up the elevator to our room and Wade kept laughing.
“Seriously you pissing me off,” I growled.
“Oh come on you think she’s cute even a bit,” he said insisted.
“Get out!” I smirked at him and he left.
Gosh this is so not going as I plan right now her parents work for the “The Thriller's.” Now she really like me how can I turn the clock around and not be at this school. I thought to myself and shake my head.


Chapter Four

Erika

“We going to the movies Wade said,” said Mary.
"So i won't be that nervous around him, you know when I get nervous my throat gets dry, my palms sweat, I starts to stutter, and i get this dizzy feeling," I said.
"Oh yeah not a pretty sight," Mary laughed.
"Not even close to funny, it's just embarrassing and if it happen to night I'm going to my closest and lock myself in," I said.
"Hold on Wade's calling," Mary said putting me on hold.
while she's on the other line I was getting dress. I decide on a sunflower blouse, a white nickers, and a yellow slippers with a sunflower in the center of the straps. I sat the phone on my bed as I put it on speakers. Then Mary came back on the phone and she told me they driving separately.
"Oh man I'm going to freak out with him alone in the car," I said panicking.
"Stay calm just answer his question by nodding and complimenting his shirt, he going to definitely compliment your clothes or your body, just blush or smile," she advice me.
I heard a knock on the door downstairs and I remember my parents.
"Got to go parents downstairs talking to him! Later," I said fix my hair in a pony tale and two streaks of black hang down, then apply some lip gloss.
I hurried downstairs to meet him but my parents beat me to him and was talking. Then his eyes glimpse to my Mom left and stared. I was so nervous I lower lip and walk forward to move my parents. I cleared my throat for there attention.
"Mom, Dad can we go place you kind of, embarrassing me by even standing at the door," I said.
"Sorry honey your first date I have to see who and what he looks like in case I have to hunt him," Dad said.
"Daddy he's right their," I mumbled.
"Then he get the drift be home before twelve," dad said.
"Night," said Gabe as we walk down the steps and he open his black Chevrolet Corvette for and went to the drivers seat and start the engine. "Well your dad is so charming," he said driving away.
"Sorry," I whispered knowing this might be the last date I went on with him.
"All dads like that don't worry," he assure me. "By the way you look so bright like the sun."
"I know it's bright I dress how I'm feeling," I said.
"How you feeling now?" he asked.
"Um, nervous and excited," I answered playing with my finger.
"Because its your first date?" he asked.
"Yeah, and no because I never thought you asked me out and I'm nervous and if you don't stop me from talking right now I'm going to keep yapping," I said to him as he pull up in the theater parking lot.
"Don't worry I think it's cute girls never do that around me it's kind of a new experience," he said getting my door.
I blush a bit and stared at his sandy blond hair and silver eyes they both gilt in the moon light if Wade and Mary showed up I would still be staring. We walking the theater it was pack because today is the day Piranha. From the preview it should be a lot of killing I kind of get a bit disturb when I see Blood. But today I'm on a date so I'll reconsider it. All fear aside and get a grip on and suck it up.
"This going to be awesome Erica going to be so jealous and because the guys didn't come to there party," Mary whispered in my ears.
"Lets go up to front seat and I bought us 3d glasses," said Wade.
"Okay Lets lets go this place is pack," Mary said leading the.
"You sure you okay with this movie?" Gabe asked me.
"Of course I watch scream movies all the time, and I'm lying I watch it sometimes," I said taking a seat beside Wade.
I turn to see Gabe smiling at me and I asked him what.
"Well usually girl would just lie about how they feeling, but you just tell me the truth are you this honest?" he asked.
"Yep it's just who I grew up to be, when I lie I play with my hands or when I'm nervous I talk a lot and can't shut up," I said still talking he just smile at me.
Then the movie came on, started with a earthquake waking the Piranha's then whirl pool in a river where a man was fishing and fell out his boat got eaten by the Piranha's. I the end they found out the tiny ones was the baby and the guy who save the kids who got stuck on the boat die by the big Piranha then it end.
"The movie was awesome no lie especially when they thought they kill them all and that man on the boat was snatched off by one of the fish," Mary was yapping.
"Yeah but I haven't seen any my hands was over my the whole time," I laughed. " I did saw the part with all those kids missing body parts," I said.
"Well it wasn't bad," Gabe said.
"Serious it was awesome bro," Wade said.
"He's so right when you watching the movies you have even blink man are you okay," I said feeling his forehead and he just laughed.
"I'm fine I just wasn't that interested in it," He said.
Oh man maybe he's mad because I kept hiding my face on his shoulder or grabbing his hand when I got scared. It was just ten o'clock and they decided on going to Erica party.


Chapter Five

Gabe

The whole time this girl was hiding her face in my shoulder without even noticing. She seems so fragile and so vulnerable. As we drove to Erica house, she seem a bit quiet.
"We can go somewhere else if you want," I said to her.
"No it's okay I don't mind she is a witch but I don't have anything against her," she said as I parked down the road it's too full up top park. I got put and open her door so she can join me, she shiver a bit and I put my hands around her because I wasn't wearing a jacket. "Feel a bit warmer."
"Yeah," she answered with a smile looking at me.
"Man this place look a mess she going to have a lot of work to be done," Wade laughed.
"Well yeah it's a party what you expect," Mary said.
"Um... Gabe," I heard distant voice and I looked down.
"You ever done somethings you regret I want to take it back?" she asked.
"Lot of time," I answer with a sign.
"Well this is one of those moments, I have this feeling someone watching us," she said turning left and right.
I had that same feeling earlier we should get out of here.
"Wade we should go somewhere else how about ice cream?" Wade said.
"Thank god I didn't want to go here anyways I feel a bit disturb," Mary said relief.
But we turn to see assassin, Who says they only in movies? They were staring me right in the eyes all dressed in full black then I realize the guys know them. I clutched on to Gabe hand like a scared kitty who would rub against it owner legs for comfort.
"Dammit Jason How you just going to sneak up on people like that,What you want aways?" Gabe said.
"Well we had a hunch that you know who was coming and I guess we scared them off," he answered looking at me.
"Who are you?" I asked still holding Gabe arm.
" A friend of the boys, don't worry I don't bite," he smiled.
"That didn't answer my question," I said walking up to the stranger and Gabe pull me back gently.
"Jason was just leaving don't worry about him," Wade said.
"There is nothing to do at the house I'm bored," Jason said frustrated. "So I'm stay at this party," he said walking off.
"Fine but we never saw any of you today," Wade shouted at him as he walk towards the noise.
"What the heck just happen, so you know each other and live with each other," Mary said.
"Yea we work together sometimes and yes he is always that creep," Gabe said and I laughed.
"Okay so lets get some ice cream I want strawberries," I said pulling Gabe by his hands.
"You must really love ice cream or you just want to touch me," I said playfully.
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't notice," I said feeling embarrass.
"I was just kidding with you, you so cute when you get embarrassed," he smiled at me and open the door for me.
Now we have a hour and a half left to go hang out together. As we drove he played his radio and we sang along with it. Oh man his eyes look like rich and shiny silver when it flickers in the moonlight and that irresistible smile make me want to know how his lips feel on mine. As we pull up at Yum Yum the ice cream shop it was kind of full so the guys went up in the line and told us to stay here while they get it.
"Oh my god he is so charming sweet and gentle," Mary blurted out to me as they left.
"Well Gabe have a sense of humor which I like and those eyes don't even get me started. Mysterious, loyalty, strength, pain, I can see all of those things in his eyes, so many secrets isn't that weird?" I asked Mary for her opinion.
"Heck yeah you really creep me out when you do that and his eyes really pretty but dude too serious," Mary said.
"No he is not I quite think it awesome to have a real serious and playful side and I haven't even broken a sweat nervous? Well yea but stuttering, no, sweating of the palm, nope I'm good all I needed to do is be myself and ca pow! I'm not nervous.
Finally the guys came with other ice cream and we were just sitting down laughing and talking about the worst dates ever. Then it was time to go home so sad. I was beginning to have even more fun. As he dropped me off I gave him a kiss on his cheek telling him it was the best first date I ever had in long time.

As I walked in the house I bit my lip and lean on to the door like I kissed the dude on the lips. My parents was sipping green tea from there cups staring at me at the stairs. I screamed and I felt my heart pick up speed.

"Mom Dad what are you doing up you scared me," I said passing them going upstairs.
"How was the movie?" Mom asked.
"Great we had so much fun," I told her walking again upstairs a bit faster and close my bed room door.
