Tears

Your heart knows sorrows
perhaps many unsolved
your eyes fill with tears
with misery untold.

Tears unwanted, unneeded
tears of sorrow
tears of pain
even tears of uncertainty
dropping into puddles bigger one by one.

yet deep, deep down
something is stirring
something that says
"your not alone."

so here you are
standing tall, standing strong
your heart knows joy
your eyes filled with tears
tears of happiness
tears of love.
