Decent into Hell

LIFE ON ZECHIA
DESCENT INTO HELL

Sara Bloomfield

Zechia

It was midday, a time of quiet if you hadn't been snatched by Harry or one of his 'senators'.  If you were, it was rape; no wit fighting, it wouldn't take long. Most on and off in five minutes and if you were too lazy to out, some were capable of replay.

John had claimed me as his wife which meant I wasn't supposed to be available. But John wasn't much in battle mode; Harry's scum were.

I was inside my hovel, eating hidden nutri-cubes when I heard a sound, once common, now near miracle. I held, certain; flyers approaching! I wasted a second before pulling on what was left of my dress, shouting to John as I dashed from the hovel, looking up, thinking rescue.

I don't know how long we've been here. The days are short and time flows. It could be ten days, could be twenty or even thirty.  For me, for us, the women of Xenos, discarded in semi-slavery on this dead island called Brickfim, (approx), I didn't check Zerks as captors but salvation.

What happened here was a slow update. The file opened on KeyTash, when we, the refugees of Xenos III, were deposited as silt.  Earth had fired it's Last Resort to prevent invasion, prevent repatriation. Nowhere we could be dumped except KeyTash.

We were stacked in pueblos not unlike these on Zechia and what we had called humanity began to dissolve.

Dress it in revolution, claim it resistance to what Gerry penned the Zerk 'hawk dance', attribute it to drugs or psychosis but what it got was worse.

I waved frantically at the predatory birds, rusty emblems in the dark tourquoise sky, hoping Jik piloted one and would come to me.

I could feel the eyes of Harry and his minions peering from the pueblos, knew if the Zerks didn't land, if they didn't come for me, Harry would.

One flyer broke from formation, began descent, John now beside me as I resonated in hope.

Before the end of the world I'd call a human mad to pray for the advent of Zerks. They were are enemies. Since their victory over the human race, the termination of my life on Xenos III they had become, the only door in the wall.

The flyer landed about a five hundred meters from where I stood and I ran towards it, seeing the first Zerk exit I knew it was Jik. Too far to see his face, his uniform identical to every other, something in his posture, his 'aura' defined him, and I ran, wanting to embrace him, love him, beg him not to leave me here, forgetting all I'd been told about their morality and not caring.

He checked my advance, upped his hands; "Na touch me."

I was beyond rational, two female Zerk soldiers appeared, grabbed my arms, their rough fingers like iron, preventing my advance.

"Whagwan?" Jik asks.

For a moment I was falling into his large brown eyes with their diamond shaped pupil, then he looked from me, noting the pueblos, maybe counting the number of humans re the number of Zerks and ordered;"Inna flyer."

The females pulled me into the ship, held me to the thinly cushioned bench as he slid into the pilot's seat before, and shot us into the sky. The enormous wings of the ship unfurled seeming so delicate yet I knew this flyer, as all Zerk flyers could enter space.

I trembled and maybe if the fems had let go I would have slipped from the seat. I heard John's voice, telling me to get a grip, and I wanted to, but overcome with relief I could only tremble.

Jik landed in less than a minute and though I wanted to calm, explain, I could only cry at my rescue while John put it into small bytes.

Harry Bascombe had, shortly after we'd landed here, created a 'government' with himself as President. He controlled the dispi, each of us took turns fueling, while others tilled the fields.

There were fifty more women than men. Harry ordered each man be married to one woman, he and his executive would take the excess.  There wasn't choice. He was the most aggressive and those who joined with him were of his ilk. Despite this, rape was. The daily menu was rape.

There weren't rules except no rules.

Jik didn't understand, his English weak, we had no Shaz. John was patient.  We stood in a grassy glen surrounded by all the others who belonged to the battalion called 'Sakari Shazi', male and female Zee soldiers, all intent, their almost human faces furrowed with curiosity.

I looked at the Zees, seeing differences in complexions, features, my eyes no longer blinkered to see a homogeneous 'them' of savages.

I knew the males came from a Zee planet called Kintwin on the other side of the known quadrant, the females from KeyTash, where we had been. It was the nearest Zee planet to this one.

I tried to fill my mind with these unnecessary facts to gain the pretense of sanity.

Jik finally understood what John was saying and turned his face to me, met my eyes with his, asked; "Yu rape?"

Falling into those magical eyes I admitted. Did he care? Did I matter to him at all?

He speaks to a fem, yeKalti, in Shaz, and she goes to a flyer and departs. Afraid I cry: "Jik! Take me with you! Please take me with you!"

He removes my hands from his uniform, pushes me away; "Na touch me." He repeats and steps off to be joined by his group leaving me sobbing.

Sobbing because I must beg a ZerShaz to not leave me among humans.

Condition of Quando

DIFFERENT VIEWS

We pondered condition of the quando on Brykfim, aware such weak species comprehension of survival as a shazi succored by his amay.

Nearing the habitations the air spoke confusion and I acquired John and Sara, two quando encountered on KeyTash, to explicate.

It was arduous to comprehend their recountation. Finally perceiving the fullity, I inquire, perhaps illegally of Sara, who without shame admits.

I dispatch yeKalti; "Advise the Sakari. This is matter not to be ignored."

As yeKalti departs, Sara grabs my uniform. She is unable to govern her will. Gently I remove her hands from me, hold her away.

"Not touch me." I order, gesturing the ini among us to restrain her as I convoke the Shazi.

seFranchay and iKhyarm are attendant, though recent mating exempted them from duty they also contain curiosity in humans.  As iKhyarm is senior to me I inquire: "What say you, Kay?"

"Je-Che, it is ugly here, as I knew it would be. To rape their own, is that crime? Should it be prevented?"

"I see the woman there, apprehend she has closeness with numerous men but if she rejects should she be forced?" I ask.

We did not possess answer, I summoned John to inquire. He spoke, but without clarity. I require repetition.

"Harry and his Government dominate everyone else. They control the dispi, and if you don't work for them, you can't get anything."

"If dispi cause trouble, I take dispi." I announce.

"Then we'll starve." He alleges.

"No. Grow food. Grow animal." I respond.

"How do you survive? What do you eat?" John asks.

Carefully, I seek to enlighten.

"Grow food on vessel, eat from vessel, plant seed, animal on vessel . On Ground, plant and eat food animal. See? You want eat food animal, you get, but eat food animal eat ground growing and if ground not plant it not grow and eat food animal dead."

"Jik, we can't make it alone. Man, some of us, okay, me, and Sara, and maybe Ann, Gerry and about fifty of the guys I know, say same amount of fems, we can try, we would try. But you see, the others they just want to punch a dispi and make the smaller people, the fems and kids fuel it."

"Not good."

"John, Sara mate?" Asks asLouta.

"I claimed her cause I wanted to protect her."

"Yes or no?"

"Yes."

"You kill?"

"Kill?" John asks.

"Mate dishonour. You not stop. You kill mate and self?"

"Kill myself? No. Don't understand."

I instruct asLouta in Shaz; "This is quando. What he designates mating is hollowness. Hemates without granting his sha, signifying he can not mate."

"It is inconceivable such defective species exist."

"They do not distinguish finer, oRain." seFranchay advances. "They experience no more. They are in a cave, never seeing the Fire."

"It is their cave." iKhyarm decides. "They make it as they desire."

"You emulate the oKhain?" I question.

"oKhain eDapktchoy, uttered; "This be their island; they construct it as they will." Kay recounts. "He proclaimed: "We will not interfere in your organisation of this island unless we must."

"Je-Che, you determine it is now a must?" seFranchay asks.

"To grant this continuance is not good." I advise.

"It is not good, worse than not good. It is evil and we can not permit it." weZanli demands.

"Why, Zan?" seFranchay asks her.

"Because this is our world and we can not suffer evil to walk on our world pretending ignorance because it is here. If it escapes it will be Chingkow."

"Do you dare, in your stupidity, suggest ZerShaziemn conceive of such evil?" iKhyarm asks.

"umRain, I am not stupid." She replies formally.

"You talk stupidly. Absent yourself."

With control apparent weZanli replies to iKhyarm: "I hold oRain status. You can not regard me as iTay."

"If you converse as iTay, you achieve reaction."

seFranchay hastens to avert disorder: "Do not respond to him, weZanli, I perceive this argument will arise violent. My husband does not see shades, only hard colours."

"My sister Fraya, your mate has insulted me."

The words were unleased, peril imminent. To insult is invitation to murder. Carefully seFranchay spoke to her mate: "Kay, you insulted my sister Zan."

"It be not insult but correction, Fraya." He retreats.

"Zan," offers seFranchay, "my mate clarifies his words be correction, I beg you to accept the words as correction."

For three heartbeats weZanli held the ascension. Determination belonged to her. Honourable retreat had been offered.

"My hazi, Fraya, I assent to your words because they are your words. But know ye, such words between oRain and umRain are not legitimate. Not even as correction."

The danger averted I grasped the arm of iKhyarm and pulled him from position.

"Do not inaugurate adversity, Kay! Zan will injure you, your mate must defend and the Sakari will be unhappy. Feuds must not manifest especially at this crucial time."

"Je-Che, it was not judicious for ini to achieve oRaini."

Were ini not granted entrance into the military than such confrontation unimaginable for there were no occasions for male and female to converse beyond formal encounter. Yet, the Sakari had authorised ini to leave their society and enter ours. Language which could flow between iemn must be measured when the ZeSha to whom one discourses is ini.

I pondered the question a moment then responded.

"I do not agree, Kay." And ere he requested my rational for desiring ini to be ZeSha, appended, "And I deem Zan accurate in a form."

"How?"

"We should civilize the quando. When civilized they can progress to other worlds and refine."

"So, Je-Che, you see an infiltration force, zha?"

"Zha."

"But Zan declared otherwise."

"She does not wholly discern. She cognates evil emanating from the island as a foul odor. I discern goodness invading as a sweetness."

He nodded and surveyed the land. It was wild country, beautiful with hidden dangers.  "Imagine if we recreate hembowla and secure chchpayn to hunt." He mused.

"Ahh, relive hunting prumkeli on Kintwin! Such is a hunt!"

"Prumkeli extensive, not intelligent. I hear, but I do not know, hembowla be most astute, leading hunters deep into rakalti, lingering to attack from the rear. Perhaps all life not be extinguished. Perchance search might detect hembowla remaining."

"The Sakari killed a chchpayn." I relate to him.

"You should be dispatched permitting her to risk herself. Acknowledge she be with Dap-I's shazi."

"You contemplate I could halt the Sakari? Recall uReglimi's Court when uNarmda seized her and she propelled her foot most firm to his sacred region."

"It was most immodest." But his face expressed he recognized the nature of heTalya, the Sakari. "Je-Chee--soon commences fighting in the verodyn!"

"The structure be complete?" I ask.

"Conclusion is imminent. Entertain you and I match?"

"Kay, you are mated, disremember?"

"I am still umRain."

"You calculate I will not disperse my strength upon you, so you celebrate suppressing me."

"I refuse match, Je-Che. if you employ not your capacity."

"Then we be not matched."

I conceive of defeating iKhyarm then facing the wrath of his mate.

"I insist Fraya not display anger if you overthrow me. But you won't."

"I decline to accord you, Kay."

"Dap-I will enter competition."

"That is a sinister concept." I reply.

"If heTalya does not apprehend--"

"What exists beyond her cognizance? She will condemn it."

"He must, Je-Che, we must discover eDapktchoy's capacity and his vigor. He must not be judged inadequate."

"I do not esteem such."  With much awe, he reveals; "eDapktchoy is the most excellent warrior I ever have confronted, Je-Che."

He measures by himself, not postulating another attaining his mark. The emanation of this statement is earnest compliment indeed.

We witness the return of yeKalti. She advises the Sakari proclaimed; "I do not like what is going on there. You are to stop it."

"How?" iKhyarm asked.

"I will inquire of the Sakari." I reply, proceeding to my flyer.

It cost few moments to attain the city. I advance to the Fortress. My rank is high, I occasion no permission, I enter the chamber of the Sakari, which is my right as Aide.

The Sakari sits upon the salpi. Positioned in the median, much latitude remains. I await, she bids me sit.

"Sakari, it is offensive. Raping and naked and crying and ugly."

"Deal with it."

"How?" I inquire, noting a strand of her hair, her very long and strange hair, and I touch it and wrap it about my finger.

"umRain, you are to think, not merely do. You are not iTay."

"Sakari, I am not quando. I do not comprehend this."

"Oh Baby." She says and touches my jaw.

No one touches my face, is to touch my face, save my mate, but the Sakari has done so. Were it other ini, mated ini, such be perversion. But this be the Sakari, who owns my soul.

It is a most singular experience to be touched by her. Her hand is most warm and soft. Her hand withdraws. She contemplates, then speaks.

"What I think we must do is enculturate them. Teach them ZerShaz ways so although they may be a lost cause in general, in specific, and for the future there may be hope. I think killing Harry is a good idea and taking some of the elder ini over there to treat the rape victims and also taking some of the human women here, to be taught building and stuff, is a good idea."

"Yes, these are good ideas." I agree for these were my concepts.

Then she touches me again; "Baby, you know there's a human woman who really likes you?"

"Kra!"

"Do you shout, umRain?"

"Sakari! Do you malign?"

"No, Jik. The woman Sara imagines herself--in love with you."

"Sakari!" I find my feet, but she grabs my wrist, urges me to resume sitting. I sit.

"Jik, I am not trying to embarrass you. I tell you, I would take her here, to learn ZerShaz ways. Would that offend you?"

"I do not find offence in that."

"She may annoy you."

"I think, as you have ordered me to think, if I compare what is on Brykfim to what would be if she arrives, there is not debate. There is rape, here petty bothering."

"Take her and three other women and bring them come after the Dubai and her women have treated all the females on the island. Send for the Dubai now."

"I will notify her Aides you request her attendance."

"Do that."

As I announced I performed. I spoke to an ini, who spoke to another, finally the Dubai came to me.

"Lady, the Sakari requests you come to her." I state.

"Does she possess pain?"

"Lady, I do not know." I reply.

wiShelfa, the Dubai entered the Chamber of the Sakari. I remained outside.  In time the Dubai approached.

"umRain, I dispatch a delegation of my Nini to the alTolka, and you convey them to the island. If any advises a quando iemn glanced upon her with depraved eyes, I shall make you savor much agony."

"Zha, Dubai." I bow my head.

She stalked off, I exhaled much stale breath. I did not wish to feel her wrath. I perceive motion; an iRain appears with words in his eyes.

"Speak." I order.

"umRain, please, find my words not perverse, nor my life burdensome. There be a quando ini upon that island with whom I shared significant moments. Be she among the dishonoured I seek to release her."

He was of my generation but of KeyTash.

"What is your appellation?"

"I am iRain eJovic, son of umRain eJovic who found glory--"

"Who is your liege Lord?"

"umTay ePenthe."

"Attend me." I order. ePenthe is the bede of weZanli.

"Great Appreciation, umRain."

I summon all those allegiant; all Shazi, their Aides, the band of iTays each oRain leads. We await the arrival of the Ladies with their reticules and board the alTolka.

I pilot to where the Shazi lingered, advised the orders of the Sakari and I and the ZeSha returned to the quando habitation.

We killed the Harry and others who would engage combat. I ordered Sara to summon the ini. eJovic sought to participate, but I warned; "It is for ini to encounter ini."

Even from the distance we viewed ini spewing from the habitations, some in scraps, some naked. eJovic was destablized.

Sara led the ini to the alTolka which would progress a distance. I and all male warriors would remain a humi, allowing privacy.

We surveyed those who remained alive. Some males most brutalized, old females, and children most dispirited.

seFranchay approached the machine called 'dispi'. An elder woman appeared, began operation.  Strange things emanated from it in odd colours. She gave unto the children and they ate. As we watched this seFranchay spoke to me and her mate.

"I speak as ZeSha to ZeSha of equality. These shazi need medication and aid and were I less astute I would proclaim we alert the Sakari. But I have already committed offence in such signal, therefore, I advocate we emit no sound to the Sakari concerning the condition of the Shazi. I say we convey the Shazi to the Odin Path and I attend them and offer medication. When they are whole I return them to this place if it be secure. Soundlessness must be absolute. What say you?"

A small quando shazi stood before me, her eyes most pitiful, I looked to iKhyarm. He nodded.

"We be agreed." I state.

"I obtain suitable craft." iKhyarm announced, proving his compliance.

seFranchay caught his wrist, as he hers, in the greeting of ZeSha. Then, her handback against his, in the new greeting of the Sakari. Then, they touched palms, for they were dusha.

iKhyarm departed.

We positioned as a multitude of shazi flowed about us. Some be afraid, some be curious. The ancient quando ini, garbed in rags told them;  "They will never hurt you, children. They are our guardian angels."

I did not know the term, but held it to ask of the Sakari.

One child did resemble the Sakari to my eyes, for her hair was similar. I drew this to seFranchay's focus.

"What name?" She asked the child.

"Tashi." The little ini said.

"Tashi, Iman take yu to place much food, no pain."

"Yu take I to Zion?"

"I take you Odin Path. Up there."

"Zion."

"Where amay--um--mo--mother." seFranchay tried.

"You take mama in ship."

I looked to seFranchay. Here be a shazi whose amay was raped and be this life among humans?

The old quando ini came to me. "God bless you soldier."

"Why this gwan?"

"Human nature." She replied.

"You go with shazi on ship, take care?"

"Yes, soldier, of course."

We waited in the plain, some human men approached, held their hands in the air in strange gesture. They pointed at the dispi, to their chest.

seFranchay directed them to the machine, the old ini showed them to fuel it.

We watched the men closely, for trust is not an item easily granted. The quando men gained the strange squares they think is food and ate. Then seFranchay directed them to carry the dead Harry and others to the forest. Some reluctant, but a gesture with a weapon and they obeyed.

iKhyarm appeared with a zessavi.

"The Sakari, I am absolute, be not aware." He informed. "This zessavi is of the amKwina which orbits this world and which I obtained by direct flight from this disgusting island to that erssavi."

seFranchay searched him.

"Fraya, on my sha, the Sakari is not alert to our task." He emphasized and she nodded.

I turned to the ancient ini.; "What name?" I asked.

"Rosette Hunt."

"Lead the shazi, Ro-Zet."

"Bless you soldier."

She called the shazi, led them aboard. seFranchay would accompany. I watched the proceedings. I think this a most honourable duty.

When the zessavi was gone, when no more use to be here and a humi expired, we reported to where the alTolka sited, landing distance away, averting our face.

I ordered eJovic to remain with me, for it would be incorrect to be amid quando ini in their condition. We waited until the ini completed whatever medical procedures were warranted.  I asked eJovic the name of the ini he sought.

"She is designated Stacy. Her hair is the colour of the light."

Consequently, when the ministrations completed I summoned Sara and instructed her to select so many ini and showed her my fingers to perceive the number, inquiring; "Yu know one Stacy?"

She looked at eJovic who leaned against a rakalti distance afore, then to me; "Yes."

"Select her."

"I will, Jik."

I watched her move among the ini, tapping one, then another, than a third. I ordered eJovic into the craft ere the ini entered.

When the Stacy saw him, she cried and he enfolded her in his arms. I behaved without awareness. But there was much I was aware of which I could not have conceived when I was an oRain aboard the elMinach.

A New Real

 THE PROCESS TO REALITY
Sara Bloomfield

Sorted in a large ship on an empty plain, dispersed to line outside, one by one in. One by one along a corridor to a door.  Undress, those who had clothing, and as tables became free, lie down.

While two held our legs apart, a third pushed a hose which squirted something green and putrid into our vaginas.

I didn't do more than obey quick. One girl, I think it was Mei, had to be held down, screaming until she lost her voice.

The treatment didn't hurt. It just sampled repulsive.

After the green jel which matched gangrene was squirted inside (feel as imagined), we were shoved off the table to stand on a tile over a grate.  As I stood watching slime ooze out, another woman was on the table being hosed and an ini sprayed me with powder which came out brown. My body was covered with this powder. It felt hot, then cold.

I was jerked to a yellow square, while the woman behind me was standing over the grate, a third on the table.  I was handed a little broom to brush the powder; matched peeling the top layer of my skin.

Naked and peeled I'm to a shower. I step in, drenched with ice water, then with oil. I'm out, another is in. I'm given clothing and marched towards the exit.

I held the garments, geared to stroll outside with them in my hands as being naked was no longer unusual. Being naked had become norm. Fems would ramble, get stuck every few meters matching don't care. Not instiwipe either. Walked around with semen leaking out or blood if it's their day and all that computed was food. The only printout was for food.

I onned the clothes; worse than chuters, but I wore them. The garments were a long stale extended bra and what the ancients called knickers. Over them, an ankle brush dress, along vest and a scarf.  It wasn't different much than what they'd given us on KeyTash, only these rags were fished from the garbage.

Many fems posed holding the clothing, so there was an input from the inis on how to dress as if we were retros.  Dressed, outside in pause mode, waiting the next command.

Jik wasn't far, but I couldn't near him. Blessedly he summoned, outputting I was to rope three other fems. I was grateful to him but didn't expose it.  One of the fems I was to snag was Stacy.

The name tripped, but scoping a Zerk by a tree, aligned he other half of the duo I'd prende in the Ob port on the Odin.

How many years did it seem I had been on the Odin Path? It was probably only weeks, yet it was another life.  I remember coming upon Stacy and a Zerk in an Observation Port aware that something more than language translations were playing.

I elected Ann, Marie, then a hunt for Stacy, who matched catatonic.

She was permanent pause. I remember she'd matched one fem who when raped the first had screamed and cried for hours afterwards. By the fifth, she patrolled naked, was stuck everyfive minutes. Someone printedout she had been a virgin.

When I fielded her, she scanned blank. I had to take her arm and lead. The ini were directing the women to a next area but Jik summoned me and my girls to him. And we entered the flyer.

As Stacy scoped her Zerk she got real, fell into his arms, crying and he held her. He held her to his body, stroked her hair, so gentle, I couldn't but stare wishing, imagining it were me.

Jik took us up, off the island. I cried softly, thankful for salvation. Marie gripped my hand, praying and Ann smiled for the first since we left Xenos.

We didn't get much scan of the city ere we landed. We were about to come out, but Stacy was such a mess, clinging to her Zerk, crying hysterically.

"Nini--" Jik outputs. "just cool. A go meet Sakari first, then come out. Nothing nagwan, see?"

Stacy was beyond sanity, impotent, Jik asked me to output.

"Stacy, he can't come with us. You want him killed? Just calm yourself, you'll see him later."

She didn't online, I clued Jik she was hysterical and all I could do was slap her face, which among us was the treatment for this loss of reason.  I'd been prepsed that it was illegal to touch the face of someone not your mate or your child so had to make sure they all grokked in fullness.  Jik caught it, nodded, spoke to the other one who nodded, and then I slapped Stacy hard across the face and repeated everything five more times, hit her again.

This enabled the Zerk to disentangle himself, go off. As he left her, she shrieked the louder, I slapped her again and she fell back to catatonia.  Now that she was silent we could come out of the flyer onto a wide field which was the landing zone.

A car came up, the driver came out and showed Jik his palms which was a sign of respect and we were directed to enter. Jik would drive us to the castle. Marie tried to wipe the tears and snot from Stacy's face as
