What if is what I ask myself every day,

Afraid to make a mistake.

The world doesn't forget my mistakes

As small as they may be.

 

I can't forget the one time when my life secret was heard.

I never wanted her to know,

I never wanted anyone to know.

She wouldn't understand.

She's blinded by the lies that all of us were told.

Only some have found out the secret of life,

But only few understand it.

 

The only way to find this secret,

Is to find the reason

Why you

Were put on earth.

But also have to see the lies 

And the truth.

 

The truth is,

It's never easy.

My Life Secret

My life secret was me cutting,

Putting myself through physical pain

To take away

Some of the pain in my soul.

 

But they don't know,

The depression,

the things that return,

The thoughts that go through my head,

 The lies,

And the truth about me.

 

The truth is,

I'm dying inside
