It was a beautiful spring morning and Sally was hanging out her freshly washed clothes, she always loved the beautiful smell of her clean washing.
She finished hanging out the washing and decided to walk into the city market, so she gathered her shoes and handbag and left to head to the market, once she arrived she saw loads of beautiful stall’s of all different colours, there was a young lady standing outside the stall holding swinging ribbons on wire, so she purchased some for 2.00 pounds she had four in total and all different colours she felt like a princess holding all the ribbons flowing.
She continued looking around the stalls and came across a pet stall their was cute kittens and puppies, but she thought “how cute” but she hadn’t come into the market to buy an animal so she carried on walking around the market.
Their was so many beautiful stalls to look at but she still couldn’t find anything then suddenly she came across an oldish stall, it was owned by an old gentleman. Sally decided to take a long look around the stall, their was so many beautiful items of all ages, she came across an old wooden globe it was just so gorgeous sally decided to buy it at a really cheap price, so she took it home.
She had spent all morning at the market and bought some lovely items cheap, once she got home she quickly looked at the globe, inside of it was an old box it was locked. She thought “how am I going to open it” she got a screwdriver and another piece of paper and wood and carefully eased it open. She couldn’t believe what she was looking at, it was a small glass globe shining and inside the globe was a small village.
“oh my” she thought she had never seen such an object like this before, it was so gorgeous and beautiful, she never knew what the globe was for, it certainly wasn’t a paper weight so what was is it exactly.
She decided to consult her books for some help and advice to try and see what it is but nothing.
Sally lived by the beach and such lovely shops, sally really didn’t know what the globe is or what it does, she said out loud “what is it” she carefully examined the globe more deeply and she saw some switch “oh she said” as she pressed the switch a bright light came from the globe it was so bright it hurt sally’s eyes, she placed the globe down and looked closely at the bright light, it had opened a doorway but to where?
Sally said “oh my god” she couldn’t believe what she was looking at, Sally was extremely nervous because she had no idea what was though the bright shining doorway, so Sally became very brave and decided to walk through the door, it was beautiful with a gorgeous rainbow hovering over a huge lake, the tree’s were swaying left to right in the breeze, Sally had never seen such a beautiful place, as she looked behind her the doorway was still their so she knew she could get back home, what Sally had discovered was an enchanting new land and nobody was near her or even knew about this perfect beautiful kingdom.
Sally looked up into the sky she could see pretty pink and white doves flying, their was quite a few of pink flamingo's resting and standing by the lake. They didn’t seem that old but they was so cute and desirable to look at but you couldn’t approach them.
She ventured a bit further into this new enchantment kingdom, she came across a path, so brightly coloured stones to walk on but no sign posts.
Sally had no idea where she was heading she laid some sticks and stones on the path so she knew the way back to the beach and the doorway, finally she came across a little village it was called The Enchantment City it was beautiful, the buildings were made from glass and the windows were crystal their was small people working and singing, dancing they all seemed so happy, but sally couldn’t approach them because she was far too tall.
These people were no bigger than 2 foot tall, sally kept her distance from them so she wouldn't be noticed she carefully left the city and walked back to the doorway near the beach.
Sally returned to her own world but kept the secret globe in her jewel box, sally always knew she could return to the enchanting kingdom when ever she wished, Sally never told anybody about the secret kingdom, not even her husband, it was a place to go to relax when needed, so far safe keeping it was stored away in the safe nobody will ever know about it, this was sally’s secret.
