The Unicorn Prince
It was a beautiful summers morning with the birds singing when prince awoke next to his mother and wished her “good morning”.
Prince was a beautiful white unicorn with delicate braids down his mane, his eyes sparkled to the glittering sunshine.
His mother was a beautiful queen lady and she stood so proud, prince and his mother decided to venture into the woods to feed. The queen lead the way has she carefully walked into the forest with prince behind her.
They came across some beautiful green patch of grass to feed on, with a large lake not to far away, prince and his mother fed for a while until they was startled by a large stag deer coming near them and with that prince panicked and moved away from the area with his mother.
After there encounter with the large stag they ventured further into the woods, princes mother fell as she got her ankle court inside a trap which had been put down by poachers, prince panicked again and tried to kick the trap off his mother but failed terribly. So with that he quickly galloped to the nearest village to find help, there he came across an old man who loved horses. Prince pranced back and forth until the old man noticed the unicorn and then the old man began to follow.
The old man followed the unicorn prince into the woods and saw the queen injured and trapped, so the old man quickly removed the trap and freed the unicorn queen and carefully moved them both to his home.
After the old man carefully walked the two unicorns back to his home, he treated and bathed the open wound of the queen and rested her along side prince in his shed on the farm. He kept changing the wound dressings with fresh dressings to stop infection.
The queen laid for days and weeks until she was fully fit and recovered, the gentleman decided to let the queen unicorn and prince stay safely in his large open field.
Their was a circus due to arrive in the near by village, so the old man decided to make some bread and cooked some pies, he went to the village circus and saw all the beautiful animals and performing people he was totally amazed to see the fire performers. They danced with flames and fire sticks it was very impressive to watch he was completely amazed. He saw performing clowns and tripod walking artists he was so excited in watching what they do.
Later that same day he found an empty stall to set up and sell his bread and pies, he sold them for 50 coins each which wasn't to expensive but he managed to sell all what he cooked. So the same day he returned to the farm to see that the queen and prince was nowhere to be seen, the fence was broken and their was tracks from a wagon, so he quickly decided to follow the wagon tracks and it lead back to where the circus was being held. He was not impressed at all, he set about to search for the two unicorns and saw them deeply chained in a large cage, the old man was furious.
With that he quickly tried to remove the heavy chains but he couldn’t because a key was needed to release the large padlock connecting the chains. So with that he quickly returned to the farm and fetched a large strong metal cutter, he rushed back to the village circus and returned to the two unicorns and managed to free them from the metal chains.
Prince and his mother bowed their heads to thank the kind old gentleman, once they had returned to the farm the gentleman knew that prince and his mother wasn’t safe in the open large grassed area field, even though it was fenced off, so the old man walked the prince and his mother back to the forest and freed them. Prince was delighted that he had freedom again to walk around in the free air and grass, prince and his mother slept under a tree until the next new morning arrived.
The following morning it was a cold snowy day and the snow laid heavy on the ground, all the animal prints were in the snow leaving their tracks, after they awoken they ventured into the woods to eat on the remaining grass and bushes, until something terrible happened, the queen unicorn was feeding nicely when all of a sudden the large stag they saw before rammed the queen in her side and with that she fell to the ground, prince was so sad that he laid down next to his mother, the queen unicorn carefully looked up at her beautiful prince son and slowly laid her head down upon him and closed her eyes.
The snow started to fall heavy again and the queen never awoken so with that prince got up and knew something was wrong and with the queen, so he left the area where the queen was laying down sleeping. Prince now knew that his mother had passed away and he also knew that he had nowhere safe to return too. So the prince had no choice but to return to the farm where the gentleman lived, the gentleman knew something was wrong because prince would never leave the queens side, so he carefully moved the young stallion prince into his hayed barn. He cleaned him up and fed him with the most beautiful food that he had, he brushed him and plated his golden mane and tail, the kind gentle man made a gold cover to put over him to keep him warm, prince couldn’t believe the kind gentleman's kindness and he was settled and now stayed at his new home.
The gentleman decided to move home along with prince by his side and they moved to an old log cabin right next to an open large lake, prince had the most gorgeous grass to feed on with a beautiful lake to gaze upon, he was living the dream, the only thing missing was his mother but prince knew she was happy now and no longer in pain, so prince was happy and stayed with the gentleman until days to come.

The two unicorns come across some problems along the way, but a kind gentleman saves the day. They come across circus in which they become captured and the kind gentleman saves the day. The kind gentleman gives the two unicorns a safe place to stay until the queen unicorn is recovered from her injury's, in which a large stag deer injured her in the woods.
