When asked what he would change about himself he simply answered “My Face.” He wasn’t joking. If he had enough money he would reconstruct his face. Not a face lift, not a nose job… everything. He said he never felt attractive in the Gay community. He had done what he could to contour his body to be “attractive” but his face got in the way.

I tried to explain that the ugly he felt, was the ugly he learned. We are all born beautiful and most of us will spend a lifetime attempting to reclaim that sacred beauty. It is a spiritual procedure,
