GREY SUITCASE
It was six o’clock in the morning. Through the weak light of the station the movement of people was noticeable. The passengers were moving with suitcases in their hands. Arthur was also nervously moving back and forth while waiting for his train. He felt light shiver and buttoned up his jacket. The weather was cold and foggy.
“When is the train arriving?” asked the passenger standing next to him the switchman.
“In five minutes. There was a small incident on the way that is why it is late now,” replied the latter.
Arthur, listening to that conversation, looked at his watch, took his suitcase and moved forward though the human flow. Shortly after the sound of train whistles and horns was heard from distance.
“Tickets, tickets, please!” the conductor was addressing to the passengers loudly. Arthur also showed his ticket and got on the train, went through the narrow corridor and entered his cabin. When he was already comfortably set a man entered in. He was dressed all in black, had the same grey suitcase in his hand which Arthur had.
“May I?” he asked Arthur.
“Sure!” answered Arthur.
The stranger came in, sat down in front of Arthur.
“Are you also traveling?” he started talking.
“No, I am here on business, returning home from a business trip,” answered Arthur.
After a few words back and forth Arthur offered to drink something in order to get warm and went out for two cups of coffee, meanwhile, the stranger placed his suitcase in the wardrobe.
The strange fact is that none of them noticed that they had the same suitcases. Their conversation continued through the half way of the trip, when one of the guards came in and told that the police are entering each cabin to check the documents. The scared stranger lost himself, without thinking much opened the wardrobe, took the suitcase and left the cabin.
“It was nice chatting with you, but I have to leave, I am to take off soon. Goodbye”
“Goodbye,” said surprised Arthur.
Arthur did not suspect anything about the immediate leave of the stranger and continued his way alone. When he arrived home it was already noon. His wife greeted him with open arms and their little boy happily run forward.
“Daddy, daddy, what have you brought me?”
Arthur had barely enough money for his needs, and did not buy anything for his son. Suddenly, he remembered about the chocolate in his pocket, he put his hand inside and
