Introduction to Jupiter and Saturn

Jupiter and Saturn hold a unique relationship, which plays out in the human condition and financial markets alike. If one considers the four stages of any market bust-boom-to-bust cycle, we see first Saturn, then Jupiter play its hand, followed by the classic Saturn fear. By understanding the role of each and viewing a market through the prism of time and wisdom, great fortunes can be made if one invests wisely.

Saturn has an orbit around the Sun of about 29-30 years, while Jupiter orbits in around 12. So its not ever going to be a joining up in the same sign each time. But what does happen, is that every 20 years, Saturn is about 2/3 through its cycle and Jupiter has completed one full cycle and 2/3 through the 2'nd one. They end up co-joining again (known as a "great conjunction"), eight signs away from the previous meeting. Now, this offset is important, because the sign and the element dictate the nuance for the next period. Since every fourth sign falls into the same element-type, there are massive blocks of time where ideas are of the same element.
