Jenesis
A Blast from the Past
After Kyra left, Jenesis continued to drown her sorrows in a bottle of vodka. She fought unsuccessfully to block the voices in her head. She felt being immobilized was the only way to control Jennifer because Jenesis and Jennifer were complete opposites. Once she learned about fashion, hairstyles, and the finer things in life, she recognized this was the life she was meant to live, but Jennifer was hardcore with a street attitude. But with everything that had transpired lately, she didn’t even feel comfortable being Jenesis anymore because she had endured so much pain that she reverted back to her childhood. Jen was that happy go lucky girl without a care in the world. She had a wonderful mother who worked as an ER nurse. They lived in a nice home in Germantown. She attended a good school and had friends which included play dates and sleepovers, but life had an odd way of changing things. The constant battle within Jenesis’s mind could rival any present day war known to man.
A hard knock at the door startled Jenesis causing her to sit up on the sofa. She wasn’t sure if the knock was real or if her mind was playing tricks. As soon as she laid her head back onto the pillow, the knock sounded again. The banging sounded as if the door would come off of its hinges at any second. Jenesis dragged herself over to the door, but hesitated before opening it and wondered if Kyra had returned to finish her off. She stood on her tip toes to look through the peep hole, but a finger covered it. Jenesis fiddled with the knob before finally getting it to open. She swung the door open wide.
The shock from seeing the last person in the world that she expected to see especially since this person was supposed to be dead, caused her to stagger backwards. She wiped her eyes.
“Mommy,” Jenesis said barely above a whisper. She knew her mind had to be playing tricks on her.
Her mom stretched her arms wide to give Jenesis a hug.
“We’re finally back together baby,” she said with a huge grin. Jenesis shook her head in disbelief. Her mom took a step towards her, but Jenesis took a step back and fainted.
Her mom walked in closing the door behind her. She gazed down at Jenesis momentarily. Her mind began to race with thoughts from the past. She stepped over her daughter, went into the kitchen and filled a bowl full of cold water. She walked back over to where Jenesis laid and poured the cold water directly in her face. Jenesis moved wildly in a state of panic. She felt as if she was drowning. She gained control of her senses and again realized that her mind was not playing tricks, but indeed her mom stood before her.
Her mom folded her arms, shaking her head, “Look at you Jen Jen, you look a mess. What the hell is going on with you?” She walked over the coffee table where several empty bottles of wine and liquor sit. She picked a half empty bottle of vodka. “I chose crack and you chose liquor to ease your pain. Jen Jen look at me.”
Jenesis still sat on the floor, but slowly lifted her head to look up into her mom’s face.
“It took a long time for me to realize what I did to myself and to you. I will not let you go down the same path I did. Now get your ass up and go clean yourself up! You stink and this place is a mess.”
Jenesis scrambled to her feet and staggered down the hall to the bathroom. Her mom opened the windows and the sliding glass patio door, then started picking up things and cleaning up the place. She moved slowly about. The years of drug use had taken a toll on her looks and her body. Her once smooth caramel skin was now patchy with scars. The thick brown naturally curly hair that people once raved about had become thin and grey, which she had pulled back into a pony tail.
Jenesis reappeared looking just like her reflection from years ago. Mommy looked at Jenesis with sympathy in her eyes. When she didn’t die from the overdose of drugs that day she fought with Jenesis and stole her money, she knew for some strange reason God had gave her another chance to right some wrongs. She had faced her demons and was now ready to lay it all on table with Jenesis, so they could repair their broken relationship.
Jenesis glanced at her mom from the corner of her eyes as she walked into the kitchen. She looked around and opened cabinets like she was going to find something new. She had not been out of the house in a few weeks and her cabinets were empty. Over the last few weeks, she barely ate and had almost depleted their stock of liquor. She walked into the living room and sat in the chair across from the sofa.
“How did you find me?” Jenesis asked finally breaking the silence between them.
“I Googled your name and a picture of you and your husband dancing at a hospital charity ball came up,” her mommy replied.
Jenesis didn’t know what to think. She felt betrayed by the woman who was her mommy in name only. Her past was something she never wanted to relive.
“Baby I know we had our problems, but that’s in the past. I got myself clean after I couldn’t find you.” When Jenesis didn’t respond her mom continued talking. “I know I hurt you. I was sick baby. I’m so sorry. I promise I’ll never hurt you again.” She scooted to the edge of the sofa. “When I came to I remembered the horrible things I did to you. I rushed into your room and after seeing the broken lamp and blood, I just couldn’t live with myself. I searched for you for days and then I checked into a rehab.”
Jenesis began to rock back and forth like she was in a rocking chair.
She could hear the bickering between the voices in her head. While her mom continued to talk, her voice seemed to be miles away. Jenesis put her hands over her ears to quiet the voice, but it didn’t work.
“Jen baby I love you so much. Jen do you hear me? Jen!”
Laughter erupted loudly from Jennifer’s core. She cut it off just as quickly as it had begun. Her Mom looked at her strangely.
“You love me? Well bitch, if love is what you’ve shown me, please hate me,” she said in a raspy voice.
“Jen!” Her mom said loudly. “I know I’ve done some bad things but…” Jennifer cut her off.
“Knock knock,” Jennifer said.
Mom laughed yet looked at Jenesis strangely. “Oh we use to play this game all the time when you were a kid. Who’s there?” Mom asked.
“Not Jenesis Bitch! It’s Jennifer.” She stood and stared at mommy with cold eyes.
“Jen honey, what are you talking about? Who is this Jennifer? You’ve forgotten how to tell the joke.”
“No bitch, you’re not playing the game right. All those drugs really fucked your head up.” Jenesis fought to control Jennifer, but sometimes it seemed the more she fought the stronger Jennifer got. Jennifer was becoming more and more unpredictable.
“Jen, I ‘m really not understanding this, one minute you’re calling yourself Jen, Jenesis and now Jennifer. Baby you need help.” Tears started to swell up in her eyes.
She knew that everything that happened to her child was the result of her reckless behavior.
“You still trying to play mommy, huh? I thought I made it clear that you were fired a long time ago?” Jennifer sat on the coffee table. Her right leg bounced nervously. “We don’t need you anymore. I’m the boss of us. I got it covered bitch.”
Mommy stood up from the sofa. She walked over to the chair where Jennifer sat. She tried to rub her back but Jennifer moved to avoid her touch.
“Look I’m sorry for my mistakes as a mother. I’m sorry for everything.” Tears stained her face.
“I wasn’t in my right mind. I would have never did or let those things happen to you if I had been.”
“Shut up! Shut up! Shut the hell up!” Jennifer screamed. She didn’t care about any apologies or sob stories. She felt only hate in her heart for the woman standing in front of her. She unconsciously began to rock again.
Jenesis began to talk in a soft childlike voice, “Mommy your boyfriend took my virginity. I was hungry. The only meals I got most of the time were at school. Nobody wanted to play with me. The kids picked on me because of my old raggedly clothes and worn out shoes.”
Jenesis began to speak in her normal voice, “After you hurt your back at work everything in our lives when downhill. Then we moved to the projects after we got evicted. I got beat up all the time. You sold me like a prostitute for crack.”
Tears stung her eyes and rolled down her face. “You beat me up and stole my money. At school the kids would say your mom’s a crack head. You sold your body to anybody to get a fix. Jen Jen died the day I lay bloody between my legs from your boyfriend raping me. I try to remember her, but I can’t. It hurts too much. I have to protect her.
I escaped that life and never looked back until my constant need for luxuries got in the way of loving the best thing that happen to me….my husband Brandon and when I lost him my world came tumbling down again.”
Jenesis stood and looked at her mom longing to feel the love that was once there. She walked out of the living room to her bedroom and threw herself across the untidy bed. Mommy leaned back against the sofa and let her thoughts run wild. She knew it was going to be a long road to get back in good graces with her only child, but time was not on her side. Mommy pulled the wrinkled papers from her purse, even though there were many typed words the two that stuck out the most were ovarian cancer.

Jahren
Love is in the Air
Jahren sat on her patio enjoying the nice spring day and writing on her next book. The success of her first book had opened many doors of opportunity. She had worked hard to make a mark in the literary world, even after several rejections, she refused to give up. A light knock on her door interrupted her thoughts. She wasn’t expecting anyone and her friends would only disturb her for an emergency, well except for Kyra, who danced to the beat of a different drum. Without looking through the peep hole, Jahren swung the door open. She was practically ambushed by a man holding an arm full of purple tulips her favorite flowers.
“Hi ma’am! Are you Jahren Winters?” He asked in a deep voice.
Something about him seemed familiar, but she couldn’t see his face because of the flowers, plus he had a cap pulled down over his eyes.
“Yes I am.” She replied.
“Well these are for you and the tip has been taken care of unless you want to be extra generous.” He handed her the flowers.
She was so busy smelling the flowers that she had not taken notice that the man was still standing there smiling. He coughed to get her attention.
“Oh I’m sorry. Let me get my wallet.”
She walked over to the counter where her purse was. She laid the flowers on the counter and retrieved her wallet from her designer purse.
When she turned around the delivery man had stepped just inside of her door and stood with his head down. Jahren walked back over to him.
When she handed him the bill he grabbed her arm pulling her into his arms. Jahren screamed, “Get your hands off of me.”
She tried to fight but he was too strong. He pushed the door closed with his foot. Her heart began to pound ninety miles per hour. She knew she was in trouble.
“Stop fighting me. You want me and you know it.” His voice had changed from the deep one he had used at first. Jahren stopped fighting and looked at him inquisitively, then snatched the cap from his head.
“Oh my gosh Trey, you scared the hell out of me.” She punched him in the chest with all of strength. “You really play too much.”
Trey laughed.
“I’m sorry baby, now can I get a hug and a kiss?”
Jahren turned her head so that his kiss landed on her cheek. “No, you had my heart about to jump out of my chest.” She said faking anger.
“Well, I’m not letting you go until I get a kiss and a hug.” Trey planted kisses on her neck knowing that was one of her weaknesses.
“Mmmm baby,” she moaned.
She loved how he preyed on her weak spots. Since they reconnected at her birthday outing, they have been inseparable except when he went back to California to take care of his exit business from the Air Force.
She didn’t expect him until next week, but truly enjoyed the surprise. As he continued, snacking on her neck, she began to softly kiss the side of his face.
“So now do I get my hug and kiss,” he asked smiling.
“Don’t start something you can’t finish.” She replied before hugging and kissing him.
“Oh I can definitely finish.”
Trey kissed her deeply savoring her sweet lips. He missed her tremendously. Jahren was intoxicated by the smell of his Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue cologne and the touch of his hands. The warmth and sudden moistness between her legs fueled the fire heating up within her body. She slowly unbuttoned his plaid shirt as he nibbled on her ear.
“Damn I missed you so much. I think the battery company stocks went up while you were gone, especially with us having phone sex almost every night.” She softly said while laughing.
“Babe I know. I almost got blue balls. I don’t know if you’re going to handle what I’m about to unload up in you.”
Trey pulled her t-shirt over her head discovering that she was braless. He immediately took one of the perky size D’s into his mouth. Jahren threw her head back enjoying the attention he gave her sensitive nipples.
The moistness between her legs had gone from a puddle to a pool in a matter of seconds. She fumbled with the buckle of his belt trying to release it from its clasp. He saw that she was struggling, so he released her breast and undid his belt, unbuttoned his jeans and pushed them and his boxers down to the floor. He couldn’t take it any longer. He wanted to be inside of her walls giving her every ounce of passion he felt inside for her. He stepped out of his boxers and jeans.
Jahren admired his muscular naked body. Trey picked her up and carried her over to the sofa, then sat her on its arm. Jahren wrapped her arms around his neck as their lips met, each releasing a soft moan. Their tongues intertwined passionately sending sparks throughout each of their bodies. Trey pulled her off of the sofa’s arm and removed her shorts and thong. He kissed her thighs causing her legs to quiver. He took his time slowly kissing his way to her moist center. The feel of his tongue against her vagina automatically caused her to moan loudly. He raised her left leg over his shoulder giving him more access to her treasure. He licked her like a cherry lollipop leaving no crevice untouched. Jahren fought to keep control, but the power of his tongue had her hypnotized and bending to its will.
“Aaaaah,” she screamed as a strong orgasm ripped through her body.
Trey looked up at her and smiled. That scream was an outright admission that he could not only start but finish. He stood, turned Jahren’s body around and bent her over the sofa’s arm. His penis stood at full attention. He spread her cheeks and inserted himself slowly into her tightness, then pulled out to the rim. Over and over again he repeated the same slow motion which drove Jahren wild. She tried to move with him, but he slapped her butt.
“Keep still,” he said as he continued thrusting into her.
“Treyyyyyy! She screamed softly. She tried to obey his command, but he felt so go good. She was greedy and wanted it all. Trey slapped her butt again.
“Didn’t I tell you to stay still?” He plunged into her this time speeding up his motions.
He could feel his orgasm rising with each thrust. Jahren screamed as another orgasm ripped through her. Her walls tightening on his penis sent him over the edge.
“Dammm,” he yelled releasing his load into her walls.
Their heavy breathing was the only sound to be heard as they relaxed in that position momentarily while trying to gather strength to move.
“So did I finish what I started?” asked Trey as he finally moved off of her.
Grinning Jahren replied, “Definitely baby! Definitely!” She turned to face him and leaned in giving him a peck on the lips. “Are you ready for round two in the shower?”
She ran down the hallway leaving him standing there contemplating her question. However, it didn’t take him long to decide round two was exactly what he
