Brown and green leaves

Fall down on me

As I reminisce

Of us

 

Young

Innocent

Stubborn

Inseparable

 

The wind howled

The rain poured

The sun shone

Yet, we went on

 

The tears

Laughter

Smiles

They were there, too

 

For better

Or for worse

For sickness

Or for health

 

Little did we know

Reality

Had opinions

But in different ways

 

I know you've gone

Your way

And I

mines

 

Yet

I still hold on

To these memories

Until death
