Maybe tonight
sleep will arrive
If not
I will still survive
Ten P.m.
my eyelids hang heavy
Awakend suddenly from a loud, noisey Chevy

Eleven P.M
I turned the t.v. on to watch the local news
A local shooting only gave me the blues

Twelve A.M
I looked around for my newest Novel to Read
A nasty papercut caused my finger to bleed

One A.M.
My stomach suddenly began to growl
looking for something to fill it the leftovers smelled foul

Two A.M
I decided to take a long hot shower
no water to run someone watered their flowers

Three A.M
Finally sleepy I layed down in bed
I began to sneeze , my dog had began to shed

Four A.M
I got out of bed no sleep in sight
A mouse tiptoed past me, I screamed in fright

Five A.m
Insomnia took over the best of me
I needed a pillow to set me free

Six A.m.
I decided to brew some Coffee to drink
my mug slipped and broke in the sink

Seven A.m
The birds were singing out in the meadow
The sun slipping through my kitchen window

Eight A.m.
I arrived at work a little bit late
my boss asked how I slpet I said just GREAT!
