David looked up at the starry sky, his father pointed to the star right above they're house, that's where he said that the planet Robon would supposedly be.
David was 9 years old now,but his father tried his best to ignore how he was growing, after all he had already started to have problems with his older brother Ken; who was 15.
he wanted David to be different, that's why he often told him stories about a bright blue planet, of robots living together on that planet. stories of Robon.
"so that's where it is?" Ken pointed to the sky above. "ROBON right?"
"yes that's where it is"
Ken twisted his face in wonder as he traced the dark blue sky, "but why can't i see it?"
"well u can't see it because Robon is invisible" his dad waved his hands mystically.
"wow really?"
"yea, u see Robon used to be seen many years ago...before--" a bright red light flashed in the sky. his father and him looked up and several balls of fire hurled towards the city...and the house.
"stay here" he urged his son and ran outside.
"father wait!" ken leaped after him.
the comets began to land in the city, tearing apart buildings and ripping up sidewalk as they crashed into the ground.
his father flew across the yard and towards the barn that stood afar in front of the house.
his son David trailing behind him, he was oblivious as to what his father was doing; but he had to follow him, he had to make sure that he was ok. David had heard about all those other kids whose dads all died in some accident, or because of some drug gangs they got into. of course he knew his dad did none of this stuff, and the chance of him dying in an accident were slim to none. or were they?
where was his father going, he had to find out. David ingnored all of the countless shouts from his older brother behind him, pressing on to follow his father. when he finally reached the barn. he saw his father standing in the entrance. "Father!!!" he shouted to him.
David ran for him, but his brother caught him before he could, holding david back.
"let me go!!!" he screamed, "you can't go in there you'll die!" ken told him. "FATHER!!!" he continued to scream.
Ken looked into the roaring fire and saw a large figure emerge with red eyes, he heard a loud metal groan before it left towards the forest. that last thing he heard was his brother screaming. and then........

Ken was abruptly brought out of his flashback, it took a moment for him to take in all of his surroundings. the air and sky seemed as if they were on fire, his ears were filled with the screams of soldiers and the beating of helicopter wings. he was leaning against a large shard of metal that had broke off from one of the buildings surrounding them. in hand Ken carried a long 20 inch ak47; half loaded and scratched at some parts. Ken could feel his right cheek sting intensely, a long line down to his neck; it hurt to turn his head but he was obviously in a bad situation; and this was no time to be worrying about pain. wait...now he remembered! him and his team of military soldiers had discovered that the robotic symbian droid Turbine was residing in phoenix city, determined to destroy the him fast as he could, Ken packed his weapons and along with his team; rushed over to the city inside the hovercraft and was immediately fired upon by Turbine, the copter that transported them crashed into street. lieutenant davidson; who monitored the mission from base, hastened to call for back up. meanwhile the soldiers hurried to drag Ken to safer ground, Turbine had continued to fire at them, the army did their best to return fire but none of the weapons would faze his armor.
Ken now understood what had happened, and what he needed to do, beside him to his right was a swat team carrying revolvers, and to his left a line of mercenary soldiers. far in front from out under their blockade, turbine made metal groans from moving foward to they're location, Ken had to act fast.
he turned to the swat team, "alright we gotta give this guy one heck of a suprise, you and your team need to form right flank, go past 54th street behind you and catch him from there and release the melee."
the swat was off and towards the destination, "back up is bringing the robots we need, until then we have to fend this thing off, me and my team are gonna go frontal assault on this piece of tin, while you and your team do overwatch got it?" the mercenary officer acknowledged. "ok...the goal here is fabian strategy understand? do not get caught. alright let's move" the soldiers split up and each took on their assignment. Ken was now ready for anything, he had some experience with these things, so he knows how to kill them.
Ken ran from under his cover; getting the robot's attention, and headed for the warehouse across the street, "now now!!" he shouted and the soldiers opened fire on the target. the guns merely dented his armor, Turbine moved foward and shot several missiles at the warehouse, Ken jumped out of the line of fire and shot his revolver at him.
swat finally arrived north of them, and above them at least three airships, loaded with torpedoes. "let em have it" Ken whispered to himself. the airships released the artillery on it. swat fired rockets at the base of turbine's feet. he stumbled back as the torpedoes collided with his back and left arm. letting out a deep yell as he slammed back into the burning skyscraper.
but what came next was unexpected, Turbine quickly rebounded on his feet and grounded his fist into one of the aircraft, "no! get out of there!!!!!!!" Ken shouted to them, the team nearly didnt make it. the second and third airships crashed into the side of several buildings, the debris falling on ground blocking the way out of the area.
suddenly Ken heard the sound of a car rev, turning behind him he saw two black androids about the height of a basket hoop, skyro and tachyon. they skated on the wheels of their feet towards Turbine, when up to the hill of glass and concrete the robot created, they both jumped over and shot missles in mid air. Turbine was caught by suprise and had his arm blown off by consequence, "here they come!" Ken shouted.
Diablo, known as the devil robot, bursted out of a building through the glass window. before landing on the ground he fired his lava cannon twice aiming for turbine's heart. when the burning metal touched his chest, it began to melt and fall off. "curse you glitchrobot!!!" he shouted.
"curse me all you want, this is the day you die" diablo said. "cyberstar now!"
a single airship hovered by and another android leaped off the cargo bay; he seemed to glide through the air and landed on top of Turbine's head, the android pulled out a blue sword from his left hand and held on with his right, as he dug the sword into his head. "ahh!!" he shouted and grabbed at his head to pull him off. "fire now!!" tachyon yelled. they all released melee at the target, including the soilders. pieces of his armor fell off as they damaged him further and further. but he still stood, it was going to take more than that to take him down. Turbine shot several missles at the army; blowing them back and ripping up ground. a bullet Ricocheted off his armor and hit the wall behind Ken. "this isn't working" he said. "Diablo!! charge your cannon and kill this thing!!"
"with pleasure" he said. Diablo ran towards the target head on, dodging the missles fired at him and bullets that bounced off him. all the while his cannon was charging; heating the metal inside his arm and forming it into a ball. Diablo raised it, one single shot should do it. The twin black robots cleared the way, and Cyberstar jumped off but Turbine reached for him in the air. "no!!" diablo shouted and fired the cannon, the ball of heated metal phased his armor and melted all the way to the inner core of his heart and even further. Turbine yelled in agony and fell to the ground.
Ken took a stride towards the center of the battlefield, Cyberstar had landed on his back. he rose up and sighed. "finally"
"the last straggler" said Ken, "let's hope there's no more"
"it's possible that some escaped and went in hiding, like deathwing. we need to find him, chances are that he's planning to resurrect omega" said Diablo
the agents tachyon and skyro approached the heated dead corpse of Turbine. "he'll try and kill David and boto."
"my brother? but why?" ken asked,
"we don't know for sure" said skyro. "he doesn't have anything that omega wants."
"or does he?" said Diablo. "we have to get back to base."

David leaned back in his chair, the back of the chair relaxed against the garage wall; flipping through a manga magazine. always interested in such things; he would spend hours in the garage reading and playing music.
ahead of him, Boto lay on the cold floor, turning in his so called sleep, but robots didn't sleep. so how did they recharge? David took a glance at him, "are you alright?"
"i can't go to friggin asleep!!" he slammed his fist on the floor.
"just flip the switch on your back, and you'll go on standby...dummy" he added in a murmur.
"i can't reach it!" he shouted, trying to reach behind his back and rolling around on the floor. David sighed in frustration. "here i'll do it" he walked over to him, but boto still struggled to reach the switch. "hold still will you"
"sorry, wait before you do...what are you gonna do about laya?"
"none of your business. now let me flip the switch" he reached for it again.
"wait!! what about that stain on the floor"
"what!! quit stalling" and he finally flipped the switch on his back.
"gotta go, be back soon" ken stood from his chair and left the garage.
