Love in a Cold Climate

In nature if something is cold and wet it means life, for where the cold ocean wells up, plankton abound, with fish to eat them, and birds to eat the fish.
Only some humans understood this, fishermen, oceanographers, marine scientists, and folk who live on the northern ocean.
And yet amongst them, for those who tended the hearth and home, it didn’t seem right that the dark cold moorland could provide fuel, that the grey cold sea was teeming with life.
