Velistras, Dimension B612
The place was quiet. Too quiet. It was also pitch black save for a small light that illuminated from one corner of the room.
The occupant of the room stared at the computer screen for who knows how long. Doesn't mind the mild stinging of her eyes from forgetting from blinking, hoping and wishing fervently that those words on the screen would say something else.
But no. The words: "Immortality Experiment- Total Failure" also failed to change.
"They're all dead," the still figure muttered.
With a scream, the person hefted the machine and threw it out the window, bathing the room with the brilliant glow of sunlight. Wincing from the sudden brightness, tears began falling from the woman's face.
"They're all dead."
April 19, 3040
"Yep... It's dead, alright."
The quiet planet was disturbed from the clacking of expensive men's shoes. The man hummed happily while looking at his surroundings and checking at his wristwatch from time to time.
"What luck," he grinned as he glanced at his wristwatch again. "In a few moments, the money will be received and those clients of mine will move in." He looked around at the place.
Unknown wild life are sprouting abundantly at every nook and cranny of the abandoned, rusty, web-and-insect infested establishments. Trash and trashier trash littered the place. And he wants nothing to do with cleaning.
"Good thing the money comes first and I'll split this joint before they arrive--"
"A person!"
He looked up from his watch and saw a woman running towards him.
"Thank goodness!" she sighed with relief. "Someone IS alive--!"
"Sorry, lady. I'm not from around here," he quickly cut off what she was about to say.
"Wha...?" she huffed as she stopped short in from of him. "But--"
"Oh!" he interrupted again. "Before anything else, allow me to introduce myself. I'm V. I'm here to investigate this world to confirm.if it's status is dead or alive. And this planet's dead."
"Wait," she shook her head in confusion. "I thought you are not from here?"
"And I am not." V smiled. "I'm just here to check if this world is dead so the new tenants could move in and make this their new home. Aren't I 'V'-ry nice?"
It took a moment before she digested what V was saying.
"How dare you! You can't sell my planet just like that!" she screamed.
V didn't even so much as blinked at her angry outburst. "Well, Miss...?"
"It's Dame. And I strongly protest that you sell my planet to whoever will buy it!" she shouted and stomped her foot for good measure.
This is where she grew up, where she went to school, where she lived her life!
V sighed and ran a hand through his gel-thickened hair.
"Dame..." he started seriously. "I know you and I, too, strongly suggest..."
Dame blinked and waited for hid next words.
"That we get out of here together and split the money between ourselves!" V announced while grabbing her hand and swinging it.
"What the!" Dame snatched her hand back. "Didn't you hear what I said? I refuse to let you sell this planet! MY planet! I still have to find someone who--"
"What? You still think someone is alive in this place?" V scoffed. "Just get over the fact that your the only living person in this stinkhole!"
Dame gasped and a tear fell from her eye at V's remark.
"I know. You don't have to tell me that to rub that in my face. But I can't help myself but be hopeful that they must have some other people they experimented on and that I might find them here. Alive."
V sighed and gently said, "I know about you, Dame. How your people experimented on you and how they found out that they 'failed'. How they destroyed their lives and this world afterwards."
As much as she doesn't want to admit, Dame knew all of that. She had read the newspapers a hundred times. The dark news swirled round and round her head.
"Dame," V reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I know you don't trust me and I know I somehow betrayed you because of selling your planet but... Believe this. There are other beings that desperately need your planet for their kind to finally live amongst themselves in peace. A world where no other species threaten and scare them. A world where they can comfortably and happily call Home."
As much as it pains Dame. She knew that V's right.
"You're right..." she said with a sigh. "But... Where will I go?"
V grinned and threw his arm on her shoulder. "You come with me, of course! Imagine the planets and adventures we'll be having." Spinning the both of them to face the horizon, V glanced at his watch and pointed a random direction.
"Imagine the different flora and faunas we'll be discovering. The beautiful scenery the worlds can offer. The sculpted rocks of majestic mountains that could fall over and crush us to oblivion. Monsters as tall as the exosphere. And the rivers of blood we will go through in order to continue living to tomorrow."
Dame blinked, dumbfounded at V's litany.
"What?" she managed to squeak out in disbelief upon registering the last part of V's speech.
"Dame, just think. Not only you'll give the new tenants a home but you'll also be accompanying my lonely existence! I'm sure that the new tenants will take good care of your world, too. Isn't that great? And... Aren't you hungry?"
The rising momentum on Dame's respect and awe towards V suddenly plummeted after that moment-breaking question.
After staring at his smiling face blankly, V just laughed and grabbed her arm, pulling her in a direction. "Come on. Let's eat."
Dame dug in her heels. "Wait a minute! How can we leave? And how did you get here? All the portal stations in my world are not working!"
V just laughed and flicked his left wrist. His wristwatch turned into a pocket watch and as V opened it, a portal appeared in front of them.
A portal clock!, Dame thought in shock.
V turned to her and held out his hand. "How long has it been since you ate from a restaurant?" he asked.
Dame stared at his offered hand and looked at his kind and smiling face. With a small smule, she accepted his hand and a thought suddenly went throught her head as she felt him pull her into the open portal.
"Wait! Aren't portal clocks illegal--"
And the portal closed.

"V, I thought we're going to a restaurant?" Dame asked while sitting hunched beside V before a small sea of the forest.
There was nothing special in that forest. It was made a setting of one or more movies in ecistence because of it's ordinariness and lack of dangerouls being-eating monsters. Nothing out of the ordinary except for that small sea where Dame and V are currently fishing.
"Shh, pipe down, Dame or you'll scare away the fishermen." V whispered.
"Huh? Fishermen?"
"DAME! Don't you see?!" V suddenly stood up much to Dame's surprise. "We're in the middle of a forest! Have you seen any restaurants nearby? No! 'Cause we don't have money so we're stuck here IN THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKIN' FOREST!" he whacked his fishing pole on the water with intense emotion.
Dame just stared up at him in shock and wonder.
Whoa, did I switch on something?, she thought curiously.
"And I thought you said be quiet." Dame murmured cautiously as V huffed and turned his back towards her. Opting to stay silent may result in an awkward tension hanging on both of them so Dame continued speaking.
"Maybe..." a thought came into Dame as she mulled over the possibilities on why they end up in the forest. "Oh, V," she giggled. "I know you're reason. You don't have to hide it from me."
V blushed. "Hide what?"
Dame adjusted her fishing pole gently. "Oh, that maybe your watch is broken that's why you can't take me to a restaurant." she teased, hoping to ease some of the tension. "It really was a long time since I last ate at a restaurant."
"Hey! Need I inform you that my watch is not broken. Just old!" V shouted out and threw his fishing pole to the sea.
"Are you... Crying?" Dame asked in surprise as she gave him a look.
"N-no, I'm not." He said through teary-eyes.
Looking deflated, V sat next to Dame and gave a sigh before turning towards her, red faced.
"D-Dame... I'm... I'm just sooooo hungry, I feel I'll die! I'm so hungry thay, given the chance, I'll steal from someone just to eat!"
"Seriously--Whoa! V!" Dame yelped when something suddenly pulled on the line. It pulled so hard, Dame was about to make a splash on the water face-first when V pounced over her to stop her descent.
Holding her by the waist, V dragged her away from the sea and moved to grab onto the fishing pole and helped her reel in the catch.
Then a man with a basketful of fish emerged from the water, perched on the lasso-type fishing line.
"Hey, wanna buy some fish? I got a buy one get one free with the pufferfish liver." the man offered.
Dame stared at the man disbelievingly. Could it be they fished a fisherman selling fish?
The man seem to grow annoyed at their lack of response. "What? You gonna buy something or what?"
V suddenly got up and, without a word, punched the fisherman in the face. The man lay sprawled on top of the water that left Dame gaping at the sudden scene.
"No time to lose. Let's get what we can and make a run for it!" V said as he quickly snatched the basketful of fish from the unconscious fisherman with the other hand and snatching Dame's hand with another, pulling her along as he raced away from the small sea.

Dame and V silently ate the fish V stole from the fisherman. The fish was perfectly cooked and seemed to have been cooked with honey and olive oil. Dame even wondered where he got those AND the cooking utensils to cook the fish.
They may be eating peacefully but that was after they finally silenced the still-talking-cooked fish by eating it's head. Dame already had a hard time coming to terms about V punching the fisherman and she doesn't want to know what the fish experienced in its entire life so they could refrain from eating it.
"V, this world really is... Different. I don't understand what I understand, anymore. I don't understand what I don't understand, too." Dame sighed as they finished eating and sat by the left over fire from V's cooking.
V laughed. "But it's fun, right? Don't worry, I'll pay that fisherman back. I'm having delays in receiving the new tenants' payment for your planet."
Dame gulped and sighed sadly. "That means... They're already in my planet now."
V just stared at her for a moment before inching closer to her side.
"Do you... Have somewhere you want to go, Dame?" V asked softly.
Dame shook her head and buried her face on her hands. "No. I don't know. I don't know anything about the other worlds. I am an immortal now and I don't know how to start my life."
"Come with me then."
She looked at him with a dead stare. "What do you think I'm doing now? You even declared me to come with you when we're in my planet."
"I did, didn't I?" V chuckled, bracing his arms behind him, he leaned back. "There's this planet I wanted to go and I want you to come with me there. The world's not that special but it's one world that beings go to when they want to start on something new." V glanced at her and gave a smile. "Reali Ty."
Dame blinked. "Reali Ty?"
"Yep! It can't be accessed by any portal stations or any portal devices. We have to travel to Fantasia, Dimension Z599. When the time is right, we will be able to travel through Fantasia's atmosphere and drop down to Reali Ty."
"I'm sorry, I'm lost. What comes after we travel to Fantasia?" Dame asked in confusion.
"We'll know it when we get there, just promise that you'll come along with me. We'll watch each other's back and we'll never leave each other behind. Not even for a moment."
"Okay, okay. I'll go with you."
V held out his pinky. "Pinky swear?"
"What are we, kids?" Dame laughed and rolled her eyes.
"Just do it." V said in exasperation.
"Fine, fine. I have nothing to do in my immortal state. The more dangerous, the better. I'm in!"
They both locked pinkies and Dame braced herself for the adventure ahead.
Spring 17, 3040
Hollowcreek, Dimension R175
Doesn't have much population but this place is well known for its flowers creating nectars of milk, talking trees that bear ice as fruits, gelatin rocks and hardened chocolatemilk powder for the ground.
In one corner, Dame is sitting alone on a loaf of bench bread eating halo-halo and stabbing the dessert with a straw.
Sighing, she glanced at the huge colorful tent situated in the middle of the town plaza. It partly explains the people-less sidewalks of the town and Dame knew almost all of the people there attended to watch a famous travelling magician's Majik show.
"Dame!"
She turned and saw V running towards her. Out of breath, he managed to pant his apology, "I'm sorry for leaving you behind for a moment. Is the magic show starting?"
"Not yet, but let's get going!" Dame quickly stood and the two ran for the tent.
The show lasted for almost an hour and the famous travelling magician didn't disppoint either Dame or V. The tent was full that confirmed all of the townspeople were in that tent watching the show with V and Dame occupying front row seats.
"Thank you all for coming!" Majik charmingly announced to his audience. "I hope I hadn't bore you with my street act."
The audience resonated with a loud 'No' and chanting of 'More, more, more' from the people began.
Majik held a hand over his chest. "Thank you all. How you flatter me so. I shall do my best not to disappoint... With my last and final trick." he then smiled evilly.
Dame gripped the armrest of her chair with intense anticipation and she could feel V practically bouncing in his seat in excitement. But she froze the moment she felt something sharp run through her left chest.
Fear replaced excitement as sounds of pained moans and anguished shrieks fill the tent. Chair after chair sprung a deadly blade that pierces the one sitting there through the heart for a quick kill and washed the already bloody red carpet with a fresh coat of blood.
The sudden silence of the tent made Dame's impaled heart pound against the blade from the chair. She could feel no pain unless she willed it to but fear, surprise and shock turned her knees weak stopping her bolting from the seat and make a run for it.
The people... They're all dead, her mind seem to chant those words over and over again.
She thought it was over but sudden screams from the victims' souls echo around her and Dame just stared as a woman went in front of the stage gracefully.
Dame's eyes widened upon seeing the woman opening her mouth so wide, it reached the floor she was standing on and the screaming souls were sucked in like they were noodles of spaghetti! And... Silence once more.
Dame was petrified and she yelped in surprise when V suddenly clapped wildly beside her.
"Encore! Encore! That was magnificent! The finale pierced straight through my heart! It was so magnificent!" He whistled, cheered and threw a rose at the woman, not minding the blade that was lodged through his chest and his blood gushing out of the wound.
The woman on the stage curtsied and gave a gentle smile and nod at V.
Shaking her head that V seem to be genuinely happy with the act, something caught her attention more.
Dame whipped her head towards him and glared, "V! You're an immortal, too, and you didn't tell me?"
V frowned. "Honestly, Dame, we've been together for a day now and you didn't know?"
Dame itched to punch him in the face again but a more disturbing matter won her attention the most.
"How dare you! How dare you kill these people! You evil thieves and murderers!" Dame shouted and gripped at the knife before pulling it out in one stroke. Dame winced at the blood staining her clothes.
Majik gave a sigh and rolled his eyes as he opened the locket he's wearing and the woman who ate the souls turned to mist and going into the locket.
"Great, of all the times to have immortal audiences."
Dame was about to protest again when the wails of the interdimensional police cars suddenly filled the tent. Majik and V became panicky all of a sudden that made Dame frown.
'Why even V?' she thought as she watch him pull the blade from his chest swiftly and rather... professionally?
Majik exited quickly at the back of the tent and V leapt out of his seat, grabbing Dame by the hand and the both of them follow Majik out of the tent leading them into the jungle.
"So... Where are we going?" Dame asked cooly, feeling calm all of a sudden despite the three of them still on the run.
"Hey, hey, hey! Why are you good-for-nothing immortals following me?!" Majik screamed at them.
The wailing of the police car suddenly became louder that the three of them picked up speed.
"Well, I guess we have no choice." V panted and with a flick of his wrist, his wristwatch flew out of his wrist and turned into a pocketwatch the moment he caught it.
Majik glanced at them and did a double take the moment he saw what V was holding.
"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Portal clocks are illegal! Who the hell are you people!?"
Dame brightened at the sudden thought. "I remembered something! Does that mean that you also sold my planet illegally?"
"What? He sold your planet?" Majik asked, confused.
"Hey, if a man made one illegal act doesn't mean all he does is illegal." V said seriously that made Majik and Dame silent as they ponder his claim.
"Yeah, I forgive you both for thinking the worst of me. Besides, Dame, we made good use with the money your planet gave us, right?" V suddenly grinned.
Dame raged at that. "That's why we're running from the police! V, you son of a--"
"Wait, V? You're V?" Majik hastily cut of Dame's comment. "The most wanted man in Sereda?!"
"Most wanted?!" Dame almost screeched. "After all of those bragging and self-assured statements of being a good person?!"
"Oh, be quiet, you two!" V growled. "It's not like you two were a good enough person worthy to say that to me! Majik, what you did back there was worse than what I did and Dame! Don't think that I don't know about that time when you stole a potato chip in Micro Stop when you were in high school! Both of you have faults too and don't go judging me as if you two are saints!" V panted as he finished his speech.
"When I stole... How did you know that?" Dame demanded.
V kept silent and when the police car blared near them, they all jerked in surprise that V dropped the pocketwatch.
The moment it fell on the ground, it turned itself on and it suddenly lit up brightly, creating a portal just a step between them. Since they were running, it was too late for them to stop, they all fell into the portal.
“Ahhhhh! I didn’t set the coordinates properly!!!!!” V shouted.
“Why am I even with you guys in this?!” Majik shouted back.
‘What am I doing with my life?’, Dame thought, resigned just as the portal closed after them.
Sugar Cubes 1 cup, @)$)
???, Dimension ???
The three were unconscious in a dark part of some forest when colorful birds suddenly flocked around Majik holding spoon and forks. The birds closed their eyes and began to pray. Thankfully, Majik woke up before they finished praying and he shooed the flock away.
He went over to an unconscious V in a rock and kicked him, V woke up at that and with nothing to hold onto, he fell from the rock and thudded on the ground.
“What the heck, man? Can’t you see people are getting some sleep here?” V sniped and tried to get up when he noticed that the rock he was lying on before was not a rock but a marshmallow. He began eating afterwards.
“Do you have any idea where the hell are we? If you hadn’t followed me, this will never happen to me and Crone!” Majik shouted at V while holding his necklace tightly.
“How the heck will I know?! Hmm, this is delicious. Even though it’s rock-flavored,” V muffled against the mallows rocks he keeps on eating and glanced at his wristwatch. “Sugar Cubes 1 cup, @)$). Hmm… I wonder what world has that kind of dating system…”
“I’m not in the mood to play your games, V. Don’t finish all the marshmallows! Move over!” Majik sat down beside V when the latter scooted over and grabbed a mallow. “Oh, right, who’s that girl you’re with, by the way?” He asked as he bit into the mallow and glancing over a still unconscious Dame lying beside V.
“Oh, that’s Dame, a friend from Vilestras. She came with me because--”
“You sold her world…” Majik butted in.
“Hey! What I did was not that bad! One! Her world is dying. Two! Her people made her immortal and Three! When I went over to her world, all of the people there are dead and she’s the only one left. That’s why I made her come with me so she can start anew in Reali Ty.”
“And that’s because you sold her world…” Majik added in again.
“We needed the money! And there are other beings who needed to stay in that world! And--”
“V, I’ve been to Sereda before…”
V’s eyes widened in shock and laughed a bit. “So, if that’s the case, you know who I am?”
“Sereda, Dimension E666.” Majik started. “All of the people there are immortal but all of them has a certain weakness. If you know one’s weakness, you can kill them and you’re rank will go up. If your rank is high, you’ll receive a lot of benefits. If you kill someone who has a higher rank than you, your own rank will rocket up and almost all of the stuff in Sereda will be available to you for free. And you, Vincent, famously known as V, is the most wanted man in Sereda.”
Majik stopped eating and stared at the marshmallow he was holding. “What happened to you? Why are you here?”
V gave a maniacal laugh. “Majik, Majik, Majik…” V murmured while shaking his head. “Why is you name Majik, anyway? Is it really your name or is it just a stage name so that other people will know how cool you are?”
“Just answer my damned question!” Majik exploded, his hand fisting, itching to punch V in the face.
“Haha, okay, okay! Calm down, geez…” V said, laughing. “In Sereda, when one reaches 18, your parents will have nothing to do with you. You have nothing when you have a low rank. Worse, when you have no rank, at all. You have no home. Food is very limited and all the things you could ever own are very old stuff.” V leaned back and stared at the sky with his empty gaze.
“At that time, I had a friend. The both of us were None Rankers. One day, he learned about my weakness and tried to kill me. Whatever I say to him, he wouldn’t listen. He just kept on trying to kill me. I realized that our friendship… was dead and gone.”
The sky seem to sympathize when it suddenly grown dark and rain began falling.
“And then? What happened next?” Majik asked, not caring if he and V were beginning to get wet.
“I killed him…” V answered as he pulled a big leaf from behind them and used it to shield Dame from the rain. Shrugging, he glanced at Majik. “I already knew his weakness but I don’t want to kill him because he’s my friend…” V sighed and stared back at the sky blankly.
“V, I’m sorry for making you relive all of those…” Majik apologized, “I didn’t mean to--”
“But Sereda is one weird world.” V continued, ignoring Majik. “My rank went up and there, I tasted… success. The benefits of being able to kill someone who will wait for you to trust them and then they stab you in the back. But… I am much faster at stabbing, apparently.” V’s eyes suddenly flashed just as lightning illuminated the dark sky and thunder rumbled over them.
“I became thirsty of power and rank that all I ever dreamed about was becoming the Most Wanted in Sereda. I went over to my parents and killed them. I had many friends and I killed them the moment I knew what their weaknesses were. I reached my goal. I became the Most Wanted.”
V looked down and sadness was written all over his face. “And that’s where I also tasted the bitterness of sadness. I have everything that I could ever want but a lot of people wanted to see me dead and other people are too scared of me thinking that I might kill them.”
“So… As far as I know, people from Sereda are unable to get out of their world… How did you get out?” Majik asked.
V nodded. “Other beings can come and go in our world but we Seredans cannot. There was this… traveler. He told me all of the travels he had and all the travels he has planned. He said of the worlds from far away places, places which are more beautiful, more dangerous, and more things unknown to all of us. That… Those things he had said awoke something in me. Curiosity. A taste of something new. Adventure. And freedom from always looking over my shoulder and always looking out for people who are trying to kill me just to get their ranks up.” A small smile appeared from V’s face as he shook the leaf, emptying the water puddling in the middle of it. “I told him that and my inability to leave my world and this is what he gave me,” V gestured to his wristwatch. He removed it and gave it to Majik.
“A portal clock…” Majik examined the watch closely. “It’s old but the quality is top notch.”
“I wanted to go to other worlds, forget my past, forget living for the sole purpose of earning ranks and killing people. I want a new start. A new blank slate where I can start my new life. A life filled with friends, filled with adventure and laughter and… hopefully, love.” V blushed a bit and cleared his throat. “So… Uh… yeah, I’m going to Reali Ty with Dame.”
“The place where no portal clock can access. A place of beginnings.” Majik added. “Where you will find more unknown worlds.”
“Oh, Dame! You’re awake now! I’m sorry, Majik and I finished off the marshmallows.” V suddenly chirped upon seeing Dame slowly getting up. “Oh, the weather’s lightening up, goodie!” he added as he shook the leaf he was using to shelter her and threw it behind him.
“V, how come I didn’t know about your past?” Dame asked sadly as she sat beside him.
“You… heard all of that?” V blinked in surprise but suddenly laughed. “Oh, Dame, what are you talking about? We just met for a day. It’s natural you don’t know that about me.”
Dame growled and fisted a hand and quelled the urge to punch his grinning face. “But what you said to me in town--”
A heavy downpour of rain suddenly came crashing down on them. V quickly pushed Dame under the shelter of thick branches from the trees behind them.
“If I would have known there was shelter behind us, I wouldn’t have shared getting soaked with you,” Majik complained as he and a grinning V scooted back. The three of them are silent for a while. The only sound that could be heard is the series of soft patters of rain on the grounds.
“Oh, Majik, that reminds me. Won’t you introduce that girl who ate all those people’s souls?” Dame asked sweetly.
“Oh, right, I remembered her! Who was she?” V added excitedly.
“Okay, okay, let me get something straight first. Dame, right?” Majik nodded at her. “I know that you are angry at what we did before, but you will know the truth and you’ll understand.”
Majik got his necklace out and opened the pendant, letting out the woman that was on stage before.
“V, Dame, this is Crone. My girlfriend.” Majik introduced as the girl smiled at them and bowed a little.
“Hellooooo~ Hey, there, Crone,” V tried to give her a handshake when V’s hand suddenly phased through hers. “Whoops! I thought you were a demon at first. Didn’t know you were a ghost.”
Crone just smiled at that.
“Crone’s just a normal person before but she died because of an illness. I did all I can to keep her on living but… None of my efforts were enough.” Majik slumped and covered his hands over his face dejectedly.
Dame couldn’t believe at the conclusion she came up with as she watched wide eyed at Majik and Crone. She read about books… when she was still mortal. Books about some magic being more powerful but she hadn’t seen it exactly with her own eyes from people from her world. Until today…
“In order to make Crone’s spirit to stay here in the living plane, you are feeding her the souls of other people, then,” V stated which only confirmed her suspicions.
“But isn’t it bothering both your consciousness to just kill innocent people just to satisfy that selfish act?” Dame angrily spouted.
“That’s what I wanted to clear up, Dame.” Majik calmly said, “Crone and I are not what you think we are. I swear to you that we haven’t killed any innocents. The people in the tent? Those were not the real villagers of that village. They are all wanted criminals who imprisoned the real villagers in the cell and they claimed the village as their own. In fact, I was the one who contacted the Interdimensional Police.”
“You were the one who contacted the police? Seriously, man?” V shouted at Majik. The two then began with a heated debate.
Dame bit her lip and glanced guiltily at Crone who was just silently looking at her with a small smile. “C-Crone, I’m so sorry for judging the two of you like that so hastily. I thought that… I’m sorry…”
Crone’s small smile turned wider and gave a small nod of her head that Dame felt a bit better now. Crone suddenly saw the portal clock on the rock where Majik had placed it and pointed at it for Dame to see.
“Hmm? V’s portal clock? Why?” Dame asked but got it from unknown from the still bickering men. Crone pointed at some buttons and Dame followed suit then suddenly Crone went back to the locket along with the sudden appearance of a portal right where they were sitting. The three of them fell into it screaming.
“Dame! What the hell are you doing?” V shouted as he snatched the clock away from her.
“I-I don’t know! Crone was the one who made me do it!” Dame shouted back.
“I hope we land on something soft,” Majik sighed and crossed his arms calmly, waiting for their descent to end.
“It was Crone’s doing! I swear!” Dame still screamed.

Apple Road of Fantasia, Dimension Z599
The moment Dame opened her eyes, a road sign greeted her. ‘Fantasia 3kg’. Dame blinked once. Twice. But the sign still said ‘Fantasia 3kg’, not kilometers, not inches, not miles but kilograms.
She braced herself on her hands and knees and looked for V and Majik. “V! Majik!”
She heard someone wheezed.
She glanced down and saw that she was on all fours over V. She winced and crawled off of V. “Sorry.”
“We’re near Fantasia then.” Majik murmured beside her. He was already awake and was also staring up at the sign. “Did Crone taught you what buttons to push?”
Dame nodded and slowly stood up and stared as Majik did the same and went over to the still unconscious V, then kicked him in his side again and again until V woke up. Majik quickly moved away.
“Argh…” V groaned and rubbed his side. “My side hurts like crazy. Did I fall countless of times hitting something?”
Dame laughed and Majik just rolled his eyes, then looked at his pendant. “I think Crone is trying to tell me that I go with you, guys.” He turned to face them. “Can I? You two are heading in Reali Ty, right? Well, good news. We’re only three kilograms away from there.”
“You’re coming with us? Well, welcome aboard! We’re very welcoming to noobs, right, Dame?” V stated with glee and nudged Dame with his shoulder.
“Well, yeah.” Dame answered.
“So what are we waiting for?! We’re only three kilo--… Kilograms? Why is it in kilograms?” V cocked his head to the side in confusion.
“Don’t ask. Let’s just go, I’m getting hungry.” Majik said smiling as he walked on.
“Oh yeah! Those marshmallows aren’t enough for me. I want real food!” V shouted and skipped ahead.
“You two didn’t give me some so I’m pretty hungry as well! Let’s go!” Dame hurried towards them.
“Oh and V? I’m sorry for kicking at your side to wake you up…” Majik suddenly murmured.
“YOU WHAT??!!!”

Fantasia, Dimension Z599
Fantasia. A world known as ‘door to the new world’. There comes a certain time when the heaven will open up and becomes a doorway to beings who wanted a new life in Reali Ty. Fantasia, itself, is a very progressive town because of the native people living there exchanging wares and shelter with some other people living there while they’re waiting for the right time.
V glanced at his watch. “Our timing arriving here in Town’s Square couldn’t be any more perfect! A few more minutes and the heavens will open up!”
They’ve already arrived in Fantasia a week ago for this moment. All thanks to Crone who led them here.
“Can you explain to me how will we be able to get to Reali Ty? I never got to ask.” Dame asked.
The three of them huddled over in the middle of Town’s Square. Town’s Square is just a big and wide grassy field in the middle of town which serves as the Transport Grounds that deliver people from Fantasia to Reali Ty and vice versa.
“Well,” V started. “When the moment comes for the Transfer to occur, the clouds will slowly vanish from the sky and you will clearly see another world from there. Our world is atop their world and their world is atop ours, so we’re basically upside down there and they to us.” V pointed to the sky. “We can also see the people waiting to transfer here in Fantasia. In a minute or two, the gravitational pull will begin to change, then we slowly feel the gravity of Reali Ty pulling us up, then we’ll fall down on it’s ground. The same happens with Reali Ty.”
Dame processed the information a bit when the natives caught her eye and she gasped. “What about the people living here in Fantasia? Do they get to change places with the ones living there in Reali Ty too?”
To their surprise, it was Majik who answered. “People born in Fantasia could not travel between worlds. Just like V’s world. If you don’t cheat the world’s system, you have no way out. V cheated when he used the watch to escape his home world.”
“Thank you for the information, you guys,” Dame said with gratitude.
A couple more of happy conversations then the bell of the tower near Town’s Square suddenly rang. The people around them burst into joyful howls and hoots.
“Dame! This is it! It’s starting!” V jumped up and pulled Dame up.
“Calm down, V.” Majik said, slowly standing up and shaking his head at V’s exuberance.
Dame gaped as she stared up and looked as the clouds cleared, giving them a perfect view of the upside-down world above them.
“We’re… finally heading to Reali Ty.” Dame murmured in awe. She turned to Majik finding him staring at his pendant and looking sad despite the festivities around them.
“Majik?” She asked softly. “Are you okay?”
Majik opened his mouth to answer but the gravitational pull began to shift and lifted them off the ground. Reali Ty’s gravity is starting to pull them upwards while Fantasia’s gravity is working on the beings of Reali Ty. People are starting to say their goodbyes around them.
“Oh yeah! Goodbye! So long, Interdimensional Police! Smell ya never, Sereda!” V hooted.
Despite the happiness and celebrations around her, Dame couldn’t believe the fact that she will never see or visit her home world again. A world where all her memories of growing up was, a world that’ll never be hers anymore and a world that will never have anyone who knows her. She couldn’t stop her tears from falling.
“Goodbye, Vilestras. Thank you for the beautiful memories.”
After saying that, Dame felt relief and at ease with her current situation. Being able to let go and say goodbye to the world that was long gone freed her from the pain and sadness she was carrying inside her heart and was able to finally embrace her new future.
As they got farther and farther from Fantasia’s ground, the chain that was holding Majik’s pendant together, snapped and the pendant fell back on the soil of Fantasia. Majik just stared at it and let it go, while whispering, “Goodbye, Crone…”
Transfer Day
Reali Ty, Dimension Sa43
“We’re finally here in Reali Ty!” V shouted with glee. “Aaaaaand my back hurts.”
Reali Ty. A place than can’t be accessed by any portal station or portal clocks, a place than can only be accessed in a certain place in a certain time.
Dame, V and Majik found each other while on the quest to get to that place where Reali Ty can be accessed. And they finally made it with flying colors.
V and Dame rushed over to Majik, who was sitting alone under the shade of a tree.
“There you are, Majik. Dame and I were wondering where you’ve been!” V said happily. “Let’s go and explore this place already! My feet are itching for a new adventure!”
“And we’ll get the chance to see new planets and new stuff!” Dame added joyfully.
“The only thing that signifies the worth of a place is to taste their food! So, let’s go and get some grub!” V urged while rubbing his stomach.
Majik just kept quiet while looking down at something in his hands. V and Dame stared at each other but their eyes went wide when they saw a glimpse of what was in his hand.
“That’s a small piece of the chain of your pendant...” V said.
“Majik?” Dame asked gently. “Where’s Crone?”
Majik stayed silent.
“Don’t tell me we left Crone!” Dame screeched. “Majik, speak up!”
Majik gave them a broken smile. “Crone’s was born in Fantasia…” he began. “I met her there while I was in Fantasia to wait for the right time to travel her in Reali Ty years ago. She told me that she wanted to travel the other dimensions but you know how she cannot leave her home world. And… She was also too sick to travel or to cheat the system.”
V and Dame silently sat beside Majik, making him smile with gratitude for their thoughtfulness in trying to comfort him by being there by his side.
He gave a shaky breath, “I promised her that I’ll help her escape her home world but… I know this may sound selfish to the both of you but I can’t seem to accept her fate, dying there in Fantasia and not to be able to travel like she had wanted… So I helped her escape, even if it was only her soul that managed to come with me. But I fulfilled my promise to her and that was enough for me. I was content with her. I was happy. In the guise of my show, Crone and I traveled the dimensions and explored every world together.”
“Oh, Crone…” Dame sniffed and let the silent tears fall from her eyes.
Majik stood up and faced them, “The last request that Crone wanted me to do is to come here with you, guys, in Reali Ty. Just what I was planning to do years ago when I met her. And… She’s letting me go to face a new future here… even if it’s without her.”
“I’m sure that Crone will be happy knowing that you are taking up the path she has made for you, Majik.” V stood and helped Dame up. “Just like I said before, right, Dame? We’ll look towards the future leaving nobody behind. Well… We did left Crone back there,” he immediately put up his hands in surrender when Majik frowned at him. “But! But she gave us leave to leave her there, no pun intended.” He threw his arm around Majik’s shoulder and the other around Dame’s. “And we’ll keep on moving forward with Majik here adding to our little group. So from this day forward, call me Vincent. I am not the V you once knew and met. That V who makes illegal dealings like selling a planet~ I am now a legitimate and true blue nice guy!”
“You promise to be a legitimate, true blue nice guy?” Majik asked disbelievingly.
“Uh… No.” Vincent laughed playfully that Majik laughed along with him.
Dame couldn’t be any more happier than she was feeling right now. She felt relieved and comfortable knowing there was a future for her after all. A future where she can start making new memories in this new world with her new friends.
“Dame, can you still handle the adventure that are waiting for use beyond this planet?” Vincent asked while smiling at her.
“What? To discover different flora and faunas? To the beautiful scenery the worlds can offer? To the sculpted rocks of majestic mountains that could fall over and crush us to oblivion? Or the monsters as tall as the exosphere and the rivers of blood we will go through in order to continue living to tomorrow?” She gazed at Vincent and Majik before smiling widely. “Now that I have the bestest friends the whole dimension has to offer, I think I can handle them pretty well.”
They don’t know what awaits them out there. The kind of life their new world has to offer to them but they are very sure that they can face anything that their new life has to offer as long as they have love and friendship at their side.
