The importance of Education can not be over emphasized in any modern society.Every child has a right to formal Education,the school is an institution specifically structured to provide access to formal education.
In today's world,credentials are very important but yet having credentials is not enough,there are many people who have formal education to University level and the necessary credentials but yet they are living a life void of purpose, Fulfilment and Financial stability,there are also many who have graduated from good schools and still struggle financially.
This book will show you the importance of formal education and also teach you how to expand your horizons beyond the four walls of an institution.Many are caged by their fancy degrees and they are unable to recognize opportunities because they fail to realize that learning is a continuous process and a critical part of life that is not limited to the school system and acquisition of credentials.

Formal Education is a structured and systematic form of learning.This is the education of a certain standard delivered to students by trained teachers(www.thought education.com).
Formal Education is an organized education model, structured and administered by laws and norms,and subject to strict curriculum,methodology and content.(www.researchgate.net)
A school is a basic infrastructure in any modern Society.Formal Education takes place in a school environment,so as to ensure progressive and organized learning is being delivered by trained tutors.
There are 3 types of Education:
* Formal Education
* Informal Education
* Non Formal Education
In this chapter,the focus will be on Formal Education,Formal Education is simply education that takes place in a school environment.Centuries ago,only the rich could access formal education because it was quite expensive to attend school, but today formal education is accessible to the majority because of the availability of public schools and missionary schools and also an increasing numbers of private schools.

1. Organized Learning: Knowledge is dissipated in a school system via a organized structural programme which is usually referred to as the curriculum.We need to understand that knowledge can be volatile,therefore it should be carefully structured and broken down so as to enable effective learning for the student.The curriculum will allow teachers to know what to teach a particular age group,the curriculum takes into consideration the psychological posture and cognitive functions of all age groups so as to know the specific knowledge for the specific age group.For instance,you do not teach a grade 4 student Calculus or Atomic theory even if at all a grade 4 class can be taught such advanced subject matters,the approach and methodology will be different from how a high school or College student will be taught the same topic.
This is a very important aspect of formal education,knowledge is delivered to help students absorb easily.Each subject matter is divided into portions that is suitable for specific age groups .
