The curious little field hare

 Well hidden, near the edge of the forest, 

the fox family lived

with their young. They romped around and were in good spirits. They all had a brown-red coat and were very cute. But they were quite strong and showed their teeth while playing.

A cub had discovered a little mouse and jumped behind. But the mouse had disappeared very fast.

The fox boy looked at him in surprise and yawned heartily. It turned back and played again with his siblings. Not far away lived a field hares family peacefully.

The youngest bunny was called Cookie and quite curious. He wanted to know a lot and asked his parents the whole time. They knew some answers but Cookie was not satisfied with that. He wanted to know much more.

When is parents slept Cookie simply hopped off and found himself in a green meadow.
