Poem


What is a poem?
Does it need be a memory
Long lost, of home?

Lives are lost,
Homes are burned,
And families destroyed.
A poem makes null the void.

Or when is rhyme?
Does poetry follow the sea
Outside of time?

Empires come,
Glories fade,
And men one day will fall.
A rhyme can show you all.
