The Greys of Belfast

 

Ireland is not only a very green and mystical island, which is unveiled by the Atlantic and the Irish Sea, which is called Muir Eireann in Irish but also a place where many things have happened and still do occur. Things, events that cannot be explained by conventional science and remain a mystery to this day. 

I don't remember when I first had heard of the term "greys," and surely, I thought that they were some sort of life form, which was made up of some pot-smoking artists who loved to spread rumors and possibly profit financially from it by doing so. Later, after having read more and more reports about these greys, I concluded that there was more a lot more to this phenomenon than just the imagination of some very high strung, albeit people living on the fringe of mind limit. 

But what amazed me the most was, that I did not at all opine, that the Greys were a global issue, a global phenomenon, seen, felt, perceived and present in all of the worlds cultures, even here on the beautiful isle of Ireland, they were and still are a reoccurring mystery, that just tends to more and more penetrate the minds of many, who don't dare to speak of them, out of fear of being ridiculed.

Well, this is where my personal story begins, which ended up began gradually intertwined with the mysterious case of a man who had claimed multiple times to have been abducted by little grey beings. 

It was, this I can very vividly recall, a very cold and wet summer's day as I, as a journalist, who was so, for no real profound reason enticed by this abduction-theme, that I had the sudden urge of interviewing Peter Crawlok, the man, who supposedly had been abducted by Greys. The drive to this man was a 30-minute drive, and I passed the mysterious lake Lough Neagh and the gloomy Shane's castle, which, even during the day, exudes an ominous presence.
