Chapter 1
Rachel

When I stepped into the woods the sound of a wolf's howl broke through the crisp morning air.I started to run towards the howl knowing that it would take me to where I want to go.Finally I stepped into a clearing where four wolves were standing.
Instantly their heads snapped towards me.One with sandy fur cocked its head as if it didn't know why I was there. The other three started to growl their warning,but apparently I didn't notice because I started snapping pictures of them.
Then a bark came from the forest behind me and I turned around and came face to face with a wolf that has fur the color of rust and a big black spot in the middle of his back.He lifted his head and his eyes met mine. They were so dark I almost got lost in them, but instead i lifted my camera and took a picture.The wolf shook his head and walked over to me.Bitting my pant leg,he started to pull me into the woods.
When we were hidden behind the trees I knelled down to pet the wolf, but stopped because the look in his eyes said not to touch him.I got up and took one more picture and walked away.When I was half way through the woods I could feel eyes on my back.I just shrugged my shoulders and kept walking.I came to the end of the woods and it still felt like some one was whatching me.
Where I was now it would take me fifteen minutes to get to my car.So I started thinking of battle stratages while I walk to my car.Just as I was about to reach my car something hit me.Without thinking I started to go into battle mode.Remembering everything my father taught me about fighting.
Then I look up to see who I'm fighting and notice it was just a boy from this stupid group that is in this area.I sighed and started to laugh at how foolish I was being."Whats so funny?"asked the boy.
I stopped laughing."Oh.I'm sorry.I'm not laughing at you.I was laughing at my self for being so foolish."I looked up into these really dark pare of eyes that looked exactly like the eyes on the wolf.But of course that would be impossible.I started to look at his other features,but he looks like the other boys that live on the rez.Short black hair,high cheek bones, well muscled,and wears only shorts.
"What are you staring at?"he said in a irritated voice.I snapped my head up to his piercing black eyes.
I automatically snapped back."Whats it to you?You don't care about any one but yourself and your group."He did not like that and turned around and walked away.I scoffed and went to my car.


Chapter 2
Peter


I turned around once I was hidden by the trees in the woods.I watched her stare at the spot I came from and then get this look of pure anger on her face.Although that look was there when asked her what she was staring at.Oh well,I shrugged my shoulders and turened to see my friends looking at me."What?"
Conner looked at me like I was crazy."You know what.She didn't do nothing to you and you were mean to her."
I should be mad at him for saying that,but I know he's right.I shouldn't have yelled at her.It was my fault for chosing spots that humans can pick upon and I could have been so much in a hurry that I wasn't watching where I was going and ran into her.I sighed."Yeah,your right.I shouldn't have yelled at her.I should go say I'm sorry."
Thats when Kevin stepped up."You shouldn't have to say your sorry!IT WAS ALL HER FAULT!She is just trying to split us up,so she can kill us of one by one."
I give Kevin his usual look.Which normally means your weird,but today means your crazy.He steped back and shook his head.Conner was also giving Kevin the your crazy look."You should go and apologize.She must be really mad."
I shook my head no."She might be mad at me,but that is better than her being my friend."
"I didn't say you had to be her friend.I said you should say your sorry."This time he was the one to step back and walk away before we got into it.I hated fighting with people,but some times it is necessary.I sighed.Once again he is right.So I turn around and start to follow her scent to her house.


Chapter 3
Rachel


I was walking down the stairs when a knock came from the front door.When I opened the door I saw the one person that I didn't want to see at the momment."What do you want?"I asked.
He looked at me and then looked to his feet."I just want to say I'm sorry about yelling at you.Will you please forgive me?"I just stared at him."Rachel,I am really sorry.I was having a bad day and I took it out on you when I really didn't want to.I'm so sorry."
I stared at him and for some reason i wasn't mad at him anymore.If it was anyone else i would have slammed the door in their face by now, but for some reason i want to get to know him.I sighed. "Ok, I forgive you, but for some bizarre reason i want to get to know you." He smiled.
