forever! You have given also me (the meanest creation of you) a chance to finish a holy job! I’m grateful! I’m thankful! I’m prostrated before you, your metaphoric feet!
O my Lord! You know, I’m not so good at English that I’ll translate a book. But I dared to translate only to please you. And Alhamdulillah I’ve already completed my task working hard in many days, at many nights. May you award me with proper reward in here and hereafter and pardon all my mistakes of life.
O Creator! One day while reading the Bengali version, you suddenly attracted my vision to this fact that–this magic book is equally useful to all the people of the world, though it was written thinking about the Hindus of India. And you poured the wish to translate it into English into my mind.
O Almighty! You know, this heavy duty has been completed only by your mercy. In this way, those who helped me directly or indirectly, prayed for this book– give them proper award. Especially, be kind to my respected teacher Sakhawat Hossain, teacher of the University of Rajshahi who has collaborated with me to correct this book. I’m ever indebted to him. Please, May you pay off my debt in hereafter.
My dearest and nearest friend Sohel, senior brother Mamun, Nahid and junior brother Siddiqe helped me in typing this book. My junior brother Nazmul has encouraged me and helped me to contact with Sakhawat Sir. O Allah, may you please them. May you give proper reward to my other well-wishers who have indirectly helped me, encouraged me and prayed for me.
O Lord! Please, accept this little oblation and take it as an excuse to forgive me.
O Allah! May you spread this little book all over the world and bestow Imaan to billions of the peoples of the world by reading this book.

Maulana Kalim Siddiqui. A name, a fame. He is the man who has already been acquainted with all India as the genuine lover of humanity. The hearts of all the Indian are moist with his love and sympathy. He has become popular to the men of all classes, all religions. Nowadays this ascetic and saint is becoming familiar to the international society overcoming his country.
This great man was born on Monday morning, the ninth of Rabi’ul-Awwal, 1377 hegira (1956 A.D.). Our dearest prophet (Sm.) was born exactly in this time, day, date and month according to Arabic calendar. Maulana Kalim Siddique was born in a historical place named Phulat. His father is Hajji Muhammad Amin (Rah.) and mother is Muhtarama Jubaida khatun. He was admitted into the first class in the Madrasha of Faizul Islam (present name: Al-Jameyah Al-Imam Waliullah) when he was four years old. He started to memorize the holy Quran in class five. He could memorize 7 zilds (fragments) of the holy Quran that year. He was admitted in class six at Khatuli. He passed class XII in science from Pact Inter College. After completing intermediate level he got B.Sc. from Mirath College. Then he stood 57th within the whole of the state in the admission exam. (named PMT) in MBBS. Later, he left the wish to be a doctor and was admitted in a special batch in the Madrasha of Nadwah as Allah wished. He achived a chance to go to Hajj by a royal invitation with his spiritual guide Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi in 1980. Shah Khaled, king of Arabia of that time gave him a chance to study in Madinah University though he did not get it. In that time, he was married with a pious woman of Jhanjhana who is a Hafiza and Quari of the holy Quran. Allah has adorned him with many virtues. He had a great passion in reciting poems from his childhood. He could recite poems of more than 50 poets copying their tones and styles. Once he himself started to write poems. He began to write stories. Many of his stories were published in some famous magazines. He also wrote some plays;
some of which were broadcasted by All India Radio. He learnt singing, music and drawing; he got prizes in many provincial competitions for these. Once his interview was published as a columnist in a magazine named ‘Noor’. He had a habit to go to the monastery of ascetics and wrote letter them regularly. Since he is a disciple of Saiyed Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi, some of more ascetics also made him representatives of their own. Among them, Shaikhul Hadith Zakaria (Rah.), writer of the book of the Tablige Jamah named ‘Fazail e Amal’ is remarkable.
His life of call is started from the Tablige Jamah. The central guardians of the Tablige Jamah love him very much and pray for him in those places where prays are granted. He has a deep relationship with them. He sends those Hindus to the Tablige Jamah to know about Islam who are converted to Muslims by his calls.
His job of life is mainly to call the Hindus for Islam. His target is to save them from the fire of hell. His daughter Asma attracted his vision in this way as the following–
It was the month of September in 1990. A Hindu woman named Bala used to clean his house. It was raining cats and dogs that day. While reading a book he noticed that Asma said to Bala– O Bala! What a good girl you are! Please be better a little! Bala replied– How? Asma asked– Whom do you worship Bala? Bala said– The Idol of God. Asma said– Can this Idol give you something? I’m afraid about you that– if you will die being a worshipper, you will burn in hell. How will you endure the fire of hell, Bala?
Maulana Kalim Siddiqui became surprised on hearing such a call as Quranic style from his little daughter. Thus Asma became his inspiration, his guide in this way. Many of the Hindus of India save them from hell being Muslim by his hand. He publishes a magazine of call named ‘Monthly Armugan’ from Phulat. Moreover, he has also written some books. The most popular and effective book is ‘Apki Amanah Apki Seba May’. A little book of few pages. But nobody could remain without being affected after reading this book. Once he left a copy of this book in a bus by mistake. A headstrong Hindu finished the book seeing on the seat and he
was compelled to embrace Islam. Millions of the Hindus embraced Islam reading this little magic book. Though he wrote this book thinking about the Indian Hindus, It is equally useful to the people of other religions. His self opinion about this book is–
‘Actually the main power of ‘Apki Amanah’ is the prayer of my spiritual guide (Rah.) and his mother. There was a request from some of my Mukhlis [all whose works are only for Allah] friends–When we go to call, sometimes we feel hesitation in mind. How will we start, to which talk we will prioritize– please write a little book on these topics. Probably the main reason of such a great acceptability of this book is to follow the order of my well-wishers. Otherwise, there is nothing in this book. Yet, nobody could remain without being affected reading this book till now. It has been translated into about all the languages of our India. The main book is written in Urdu. This English version of that book is translated from its Bengali version. The book must attract your vision, wave your conscience if you read it properly.

An infant. It is walking on foot. Its tender legs are going to fall into fire by walking. Before your eyes. What will you do then? You will take the infant in the arms by running. You will feel a great thrill in mind saving the infant. Similarly, if you see anyone being scorched, you will be shaken. Your mind will be gloomy with grief.
Well, have you thought ever, why it happens? Because– all the men of the earth are the children of same parent. All are the children of father Adam and mother Eve. Moreover, there is a heart into every man’s chest– where love, affection and sympathy live. This heart becomes agitated to another’s pain. It feels joy to help the distressed. He is the actual man into whose heart– there is an emotion– full of love for the whole of human world. All whose works are dedicated to serve man. Who cannot remain still seeing the pain of a man. Whose main duty of life is to nurse the afflicted and stand beside the distressed!
This life of man in this earth is very temporary. The life after death is permanent and infinite. After dying without serving and obeying the actual Lord heaven will not be gotten. He has rather to be the fuel of hell for eternity.
Nowadays millions and billions of our brothers are running in the competition of hell knowing nothing. The ways through which they walk has directly met with hell. In this perspective, the duty who love man for Allah, believe in humanity is– to come and participate in the great mission to save these travelers of the way of hell.
We are glad, Maulana Kalim Siddiqui Saheb, genuine lover of humanity, eager in thinking to relief the strayed man has gifted some flowers of love at your service.
The love of the author is wordy at page to page of this oblation. The author has performed the duty of all of us as being Muslims by this oblation.
We are bestowing these pieces of heart with our little oblation and your deposit to your hand.
