I climbed out of my bed as I looked out of the wooden window, the rising sun facing me. The warmth of the sun felt so right on a cool morning as this. I sighed happily, the cool air was mixed with the salty scent of the sea, and it smelt so nice. I looked down from the window as I looked at the glistening water waves. I dressed myself up for school after brushing my teeth and grabbed my school bag before rushing out of the door, "Goodbye, Granny!" I yelled as I looked behind and saw my grandmother waving me goodbye.
At school, I walked towards the mob outside my school gate. My eyes lighted up. Wow! Two sleek and posh cars were parked at the front. A handsome male with dark hair stepped out of the car as he retrieved his bag from an elderly man in a black suit. At the other car, a beautiful man with blond hair alighted as he walked straight into the school. The girls and some other guys surrounding them squealed loudly as the two males walked past them.
Good, at least I'm not their attention now. I always hated attention, and though I knew I was beautiful, I tried not to show it. I wore spectacles when I actually had perfect eyesight, just to get away from as much attention as possible but... Let's just say that it did not work really well. I still had the unwanted attention with lots of students surrounding me when I just step into the school, during recess, and after school. Some of them even went to the point of stalking me home.
As I walk up the stairs to my classroom, I saw the beautiful blond-haired man from before. He looked lost, confused perphaps. He looked round and round, as if he was puzzled. "Do you not know where your class is?" I assumed and asked him courageously. "Eh?!" He looked startled. "N-No, I can't seem to find it." He stuttered as he stared at me. I guess he must find me weird to ask him something when I do not even know him. "Show me you timetable, I'll bring you to your class." I said. "T-Thank you." He replied. How polite.
I thought. I took his timetable and my eyes widened a little. "You're in the same class as me," I said in surprise. "R-Really?" He asked. "Yeah, and all the other classes, too." I answered. "That's surprising." He stated, finally not stumbling over every little word.
As we walked to the classroom together, we soon became friends. He was easy to get along with, very easy to befriend. He was almost like a perfect prince that jumped out from a fairytale. Polite, friendly, and nice. He introduced himself a little later, that his name was Chrane Chrisma and I instinctively introduced myself back as I tried, awkwardly, to be as polite as he was.
When I walked into the classroom with Chrane, I bid him farewell while making my way to my seat just as the whiteboard depicted... And stopped dead in my tracks, just a few centimetres away from my new seat. There, on the seat beside mine, was the handsome tanned male I saw earlier today. I took a deep breath as I walked to my table, put my bag right beside my table on the floor, and sat down quietly. The dark-haired male looked at me, his fire-red eyes looking at me as if they could see through me, as if his eyes were undressing right there, right then. I shivered a little and I quietly wished that he did not notice that. "What's your name?" I heard him ask. "Hazel, Hazel Shiren." I said, nervous.
"Good. You're the correct person. 'Cause lots of girls have been surrounding me since I stepped into the school." The lean man said, his voice filled with arrogance.
I hate arrogant boys but I felt my heart skip a beat and I heard my palpitating heart loud and clear. "I'm Ashe, by the way. And you look... better than I would have expected any human being to." He stated as he reached out his hand and I took it in return, giving it a light shake.
I was saved from the weird conversation with Ashe by Mr. Laret Churt, the History teacher, whom walked into the classroom just as the bell rang. He took one look at the whiteboard, lthen at me and Ashe. His eyebrows raised in curiosity at us, and asked us to stand up to greet him. He was probably a little confused by who Ashe was. "Ashe, right?" Mr. Laret questioned. "Yeah." Ashe answered casually, still looking at me. He mouthed out the words, "You're cute.", and I blushed even harder. He made no counter reaction and paid his attention to Mr. Laret, who was writing on the whiteboard. I tried to keep from the continuous blushing as I reached into my bag and took out my notebook and my pencil case.
Midway in class, Ashe reached over and took a blue pen from my case as I softly protested, "H-Hey!" I whispered as he shushed me teasingly, looking at me with his charming red eyes, so deep that it actually drew me in before I realised it. Then, he tore a piece of plain white paper from my notebook and started scribbling something on it before sliding it across his table and on to mine. I shook myself awake and from his alluring eyes.
Out of pure curiosity, I took a look at the wild handwriting on the paper. Not that it was ugly, it was just wild, as if the words were free. where'd u come from, r u frm here?
The paper read. I sighed. Having no choice, I took out my black pen and wrote back an answer. Yes.
Was all I wrote. I passed the paper over to him when Mr. Laret was not paying attention and glanced at him only to see him scribbling something more. He pushed the paper towards me and I read it. ur handwritin's nice.
I felt myself go warmer and warmer. Thanks. I wrote back and gave him the paper under the teacher's lacking observation. I saw a smug smile pasted on his face when I turned to look at him and for the first time - as a good student - prayed for the bell to ring for lunch break.
Finally the bell rang and I immediately stuffed my books and stationery into my sling bag before rushing out of the classroom and into the cafeteria.
"He's awesome!" Said my best friend, Cassie at our usual lunch table after she got her food.
"Who?" I asked innocently.
"Who else, Hazel? Other than the guy you sat beside throughout the lessons?" Cassie asked. I blinked hard, "What? Ashe?" "Aww... You even know his name. How sweet..." Telovarn, a good friend of mine, chirped in.
"Of course, he was sitting beside me, Telovarn."
"Hah... You're so lucky Hazel. You're pretty and smart, all the teachers love you, and now you even get to sit with that hot hot guy!" Cassie exclaimed. "Aren't you over-reacting, Cassie?" "No I'm not! He's hot! Look over there!" I followed where her finger pointed to see Ashe's table being crowded by many girls.
