Prologue

 

There are many acronyms that are frequently used and can be interesting. KDRT alludes to domestic violence. Recently, incidents of domestic violence experienced by artists, singers and celebrities have been quite rife.
Then there is also the term PSTI, which stands for the Association of Husbands and Wives. Have you ever seen or heard the term Husband Afraid of Wife or joked... you PSTI you... or seen a woman who is fussy, grumpy, likes to beat her when raising children or serving her husband... ?

     Lately, in Indonesia, there has been a rise in lifestyles and BDSM enthusiasts. The short for BDSM, which is understood by the Indonesian public, also varies. There are those who believe that BDSM encompasses Bondage, Dominant, Sadism, and Masochism. There are also people who believe that BDSM means Bondage, Dominant, Subdued, Manners. There are also those who believe that this means Bondage Disciolin Submissive and Master/Mistress. The BDSM, in terms of sadism and masochism, is definitely not worth the effort. This understanding will guide the potential to enhance the practice of domestic violence. In fact, the number of victims of family violence continues to grow each year. While the increase in the number is due to the victim reporting and being reported. Not to mention the victim who is embarrassed or reluctant to report it.

The rise of the internet, which removed distance and time boundaries, helped BDSM explode all over the world. It was around 1990-1991, BDSM became popular and widely known. In the 2000s, BDSM spread to Indonesia slowly and was not yet popular. The ambiguous interpretation of BDSM gives rise to the notion that BDSM is synonymous with violence, the legitimacy of committing violence. This may have contributed to an increase in dating and domestic violence.
