when i walk the city street
i smile at all the people i see

i stop for a minute or two
just to enjoy the view

i love all the city sights
an all the pretty lights

i wish the city would slowdown
and not go so fast
cause it makes it hard for me to remember the past

back then the city had little and was very small
but the people's hearts were wide and tall

i must go now my friend
so i can begin
to walk the city street again
