Chapter 1

"Jenny?" called Mrs. Parker. Jenny didn't response.

"Jenny!" Mrs. Parker called louder, "God! What am I going to do with this girl!"

Mrs. Parker said to herself opening the door of Jenny's room. As expected Jenny was totally lost in a book, forgetting the rest of the world. Mrs. Parker sighed as she went near to her daughter and snatched the book from her hand.

Jenny jumped "Mom! You scared me! But forget it and give my book back."

"Sorry honey for scaring you but I've called you like hundred times but you simply didn't listen."

"Oh. Ok sorry for that now give it back.

"Nope."

"What? Why? You can't do this to me! I was in the last chapter and I'm dying to know what happened next!"

"You are not getting your book back until you come down from that bed of yours and take shower and eat some breakfast."

"I'll do all of those things after I finish this book! Now give it back to me." Jenny said impatiently.

"No. You were awake the whole night with this book." she complained.

"Well I couldn't help it. This book is so interesting and now you are simply killing me by not letting me read this!"

"You tell that about every book. Seriously Jenny why do you always torture yourself like this? Either you are working like hell in your office or you are reading a book totally forgetting to eat or sleep .Do you even remember when was the last time you ate something? Look at the mirror. You look so messy."

"Mom you know very well that I don't care about how I look so now give my book back or I won't eat anything for the rest of the day."

"Fine take it", she said handing Jenny the book "You are going to do what you want to do anyway. I just wasted my energy for nothing." she said starting to go from the room.

"Thanks mom", Jenny said "and mom?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

Mrs. Parker smiled hearing this and kissed her daughters cheek.

"I love you too honey. I just wish that you were a little less stubborn and a little more mature."

"But I AM mature!"

"Yeah sure honey" she said laughing.

"I AM!"

"When did I that say you were not?" she laughed again and left the room.

Jenny crossed her arms in stubbornness and thought to herself, "God knows why they all think that I'm still a kid. I mean i am perfectly mature right? Right. So i shouldn't bother about it." And then she started reading her book again.

After 15 minutes Jenny got up from bed, showered and went to the kitchen. Mrs. Parker looked at her and asked "Finished reading?"

"Yup. And now I'm very hungry mom. Give me something to eat."

"Oh so now you remember you are hungry. Thanks god that you finally do!" she said serving jenny breakfast.

Jenny finished eating quickly and got up from chair and reached for her car keys.

"Where are you going now?" Her mom asked.

"To uncle Jeremy's house. I want to see Laura."

"Sure you do." She smiled and said, "Bring her home and I'll make her favorite cookies for her."

"Ok. I'll try. Bye Mom."

"Bye and listen..."

Jenny interrupted her "I know mom 'drive carefully'. Why do you always say the same thing every time I go out?"

"So that you remember." she smiled.

"Ok. I will. Now bye."

When Jenny parked her car at her uncle's parking lot she saw a limousine parked beside her uncle's car.

"So they have guest in their house", She thought and got out of her car. She rang the doorbell and Laura opened the door.

"Hi" Jenny said smiling and hugging her cousin.

She and Laura have been best friends since their childhood and their is a special bond between them. Laura didn't smile back and looked at her with a pleading look. Jenny's heart sank seeing her face.

"Laura. What's wrong?" Jenny asked worriedly.

Laura opened her mouth to answer but before she could say anything she was interrupted by her father, Jeremy Dayton.

"Jenny!" He exclaimed. "I'm so happy that you are here! You have a very good timing. Come in, come in. I have a surprise for you," he said ushering Jenny in.

When Jenny entered the room she saw a stranger sitting on the couch. He was dressed in highly expensive cloths and he was incredibly handsome. There was a hint of pride and arrogance in his looks and Jenny immediately decided that she didn't like this man.

"So Jenny," her uncle said beaming "Here, I'm proud to introduce you to Jack Cooper, the son of my childhood best friend Jordan Cooper. And Jack this is my dear niece Jenny Parker."

Jenny smiled at Jack saying "Hello" and extended her hand for a handshake.

Jack didn't smile back and just gave her hand a brief shook. And at that moment Jenny started hating Jack Cooper even more.

"And now time for the surprise!", her uncle said excitedly.

"Oh really? What is that?" Jenny asked curiously.

"Well, Jack is not only my best friend's son. He is also Laura's future husband!"

Jenny was shocked to death hearing this. She felt like someone has hit her on the head.

"What!" She screamed.

Chapter 2

Mr. and Mrs. Dayton looked at Jenny, surprised by her reaction.

Mr. Dayton asked, "What's wrong Jenny? Aren't you happy for Laura?"

Jenny came to her senses and said quickly "Of course I am. I was just surprised. I mean all of a sudden your telling me Laura's getting married you know. Anyway I'm happy for her. I'm sorry if I startled you."

"It's okay dear. We understand. After all you are Laura's best friend. It's perfectly normal to get excited," said Mrs. Dayton smiling.

"Ah thanks" Jenny replied and turning to Jack she said "Congratulation Mr. Cooper."

"Call me Jack. And thanks." he said with his same arrogant attitude.

"Okay Jack." Jenny said and turned to Laura.

"I'd like to congratulate you privately." She told her and then smiled at the rest of the people.

"Excuse us." she told them and then grabbing Laura's hand, she left the room taking Laura with her.

Mr. and Mrs. Dayton turned to Jack and smiled.

Mrs. Dayton said "Jenny must be very excited. She and Laura are very close. They have grown up together and they are more like twin sisters to each other rather than cousins."

Jack nodded not saying anything. He was thinking about Jenny. She has surprised him. She was different from all the other girls. Though they just met but there was something, something very special about her. When she first saw him she wasn't mesmerized by his looks or money. She hadn't tried to throw herself at him like other girls.

Well neither has Laura but he has guessed that was because she was in love with someone else. But even she has admired his looks. He had seen that in her eyes. Everyone has always looked at him with admiration for his looks and his wealth. But not Jenny. In fact she had looked at him with despise in her eyes and that's what has surprised him more. He has never saw a girl look at him with despise.

Another unusual thing about her was her simplicity. She didn't wear any make up. There was a natural beauty in her but it was as if she was trying to hide it. She was wearing a simple shirt and plain jeans. Her hairs were pulled back into a ponytail and there was a careless expression in her face. As if she couldn't care less what the world think about her. One look at her and he could tell that she was a tomboy. A very stubborn and arrogant tomboy.

"Interesting." He thought to himself smiling a little. "Very very interesting."

In Laura's room Jenny locked the door and faced Laura angrily.

"What the heck is going on?" She asked.

Laura started crying and hugged Jenny tightly.

"Laura, Laura stop crying and tell me what's going on?"

"You heard what's going on. I'm going to get married to Jack."

"But why?"

"Because dad has promised Jack's father that he will give me marriage to Jack back when we were children. And you know dad. When he Promises something he keeps his promise no matter what."

"But what about Boris?" Jenny asked holding Laura's shoulder. "Haven't you told uncle about Boris? I'm sure you haven't. Tell him about Boris. I'm sure he will stop this marriage then."

Laura started crying harder. "I did tell him about Boris Jenny but he said he won't change his mind. He also told me that if i try to run away or stop this marriage he will ruin Boris's career. And he means it Jenny. Mr. Cooper is a very powerful man. If dad wants then he could ruin Boris's life with Mr. Coopers help. I can't let that happen. I'll have to marry Jack."

"Are you insane? You and Boris have been madly in love with each other since high school. Are you really telling me that only because of a stupid promise uncle will ruin his own daughter's life? How could he do this to you? No I won't let this happen. I will stop this!"

"No! Don't!" Laura panicked. "He will ruin Boris." She started shivering.

"Laura listen to me. Stop panicking .Laura! Look at me."

Laura looked at her calming down a little.

"Do you trust me?" Jenny asked softly. Laura nodded .

"Then trust me, I won't let this marriage happen. You will marry only and only Boris, the man you love and who loves you the same. And I won't let anyone harm Boris. I promise you. And if uncle Jeremy never breaks his promises then I'm also his niece and I don't break my promises either", Jenny said with a determined voice.

Laura became hopeful hearing this. She knew Jenny very well and knew that now Jenny will stop this marriage no matter what.

"But how will you do this? How will you stop this marriage?"

"I won't." Jenny said with a crooked smile. "Jack will."

Chapter 3

"What!" Laura asked surprised by her answer.

"Yup. Uncle had said that you can't stop this marriage, right? But he didn't say that Jack can't stop this marriage. Now all I have to do is to convince him to stop this marriage. I don't think he is a very cooperative guy but I’m going to make him to agree anyway."

"Jenny what if dad..... "

"He won't find out. Relax."

"But how will you do that without dad finding out?"

"Leave that to me. And you know what? Even if you were not in love with Boris I wouldn't let this marriage happen. This Jack is a total jerk."

"How do you know? You just met him!"

"I just know. Anyway now let's go back to the living room. It's time for some action baby."

Jenny said with an evil grin which made Laura laugh.

"You always manage to make me feel better." She said and added, "I don't know what I'd have done without you."

"Ah come on now don't be such an emo and let's go."

"Okay", Laura smiled.

When they entered the living room Mrs. Dayton smiled at them and asked "Done talking?"

"Yeah." Jenny answered and turned to Jack and smiled at him sweetly.

"Hey Jack, now that you are going to be a family member I'd like to get to know you. I guess by now you already know that I and Laura are very close. So I have to know what kind of person she is going to marry." She teased and then asked, "So can I talk to u in private?"

"Sure. Where do you want to talk?" he asked with his same annoying expression.

"Anywhere except here so that my uncle and aunt wouldn't be able to save you from my ambush." she half-joked.

"Ok let's go."

Jenny turned to her uncle and aunt. "I hope you don't mind that I'm stealing him?"

"Go ahead honey. It's your right. But don't trouble him too much."

"I won’t. Bye" Jenny told them and left with Jack.

"So where are we going?" Jenny asked.

"In my office."

"Alright. Let's go."

They drove their cars to Jack's office. After they parked their cars, Jack lead Jenny to his office. When they entered to his office all the women who saw Jenny with Jack stared enviously at her.

"Wow ladies no need to feel jealous" Jenny said inwardly.

Jack led her to his cabin. After entering his cabin he offered Jenny to sit down and after she did he also sat down on her opposite.

For a while they just stared at each other, narrowing their eyes as if challenging each other silently.

"Now shoot." said Jack finally breaking the silence.

"You can't marry Laura." Jenny blurted.

Jack's expression didn't change a bit.

"Why?" He asked calmly.

"Because she loves someone else." Jenny replied.

"So?" Jack asked again without any change of his expression.

Jenny got mad and exclaimed "SO YOU STOP THIS MARRIAGE!"

"Why would I do that?"

"Didn't you hear me? SHE LOVES SOMEONE ELSE!"

"So? That's her problem not mine."

Jenny couldn't believe the guts of this guy. She got more mad and yelled at him "SHE IS BEING FORCED INTO THIS MARRIAGE!"

"Well that's also her problem" He said arrogantly.

"Are you even human?" Jenny yelled.

"Are you blind?" replied Jack remaining totally calm.

"You know what? I was right about you. You ARE a jerk. A big jerk."

"Oh. I'm flattered. Thanks for the compliment." Jack mocked.

"That's it!" Jenny stood up from the chair grabbed the collar of Jack's shirt and shouted, "Listen dude. You are gonna stop this marriage and put the blame on yourself and leave Laura alone for the rest of your life or else I'm gonna slice you into pieces!"

"Oh really? I'd really love to see that."

Jenny's face became red with anger and she was opening her mouth to yell at Jack some more when Jack put his hand on her mouth and said - "Hush. Now YOU listen to me. You childish fool! You really think that YOU can order ME Jack Cooper to do something? And You think YOU can harm ME?" He laughed. "I can do whatever I want and you won't be able to do anything to me. Wake up baby this is ME Jack Cooper. Have you got any idea how powerful I am? I can do whatever I want to do with your dear cousin and you can do nothing about it."

Jenny was shaking with anger and slapped his hand from her mouth. Jack just smiled and told Jenny "Well. If you are really so concerned about your sister then I'll give you a chance. I'll do what you want but in a condition."

"And what is that?" Jenny asked.

Jack smiled an evil smile. "I will stop this marriage. But then YOU will have to marry me."

Chapter 4

Jenny stood there speechless with her mouth hung open, too astonished to move. A few seconds later when she gain control over her body she screamed "WHAT!".

"You heard me." Jack replied.

"Are you...Are you.... crazy?" she asked stammering with anger.

"Well i'm proposing YOU

! A person has to be crazy to do something like that. So the answer of your question is yes I AM

crazy."

She asked him yelling "Then why are you proposing me?"

"As you have figured out I'm crazy, I have also figured out that you are crazy. So I think we will be a good match you know. With you and me both being crazy, life would be hardly boring", Jack replied grinning.

"You know what? I'll NEVER EVER marry YOU. Not even if I suddenly become desperate to marry someone and you are the only person left single in the whole universe! Not now not then not EVER

 

!"

"Ok then. You can start celebrating your dear cousins marriage", Jack shrugged.

"NO!!!"

"No? You don't want this to happen? Then you can stop this. All you have to do is marry me. As simple as that."

"YOU CAN'T FORCE ME TO MARRY YOU!!

!"

"No. But I can definitely force your cousin to marry me", he said with an evil grin.

"You... You... BASTARD!! You are gonna pay for this!" she said and stormed out of the room.

Jack sat on his chair with a big smile in his face, fully pleased with himself. Although Jenny has left his office being really mad, he knew she will come back and agree to his proposal. She will do anything for Laura's happiness.

Everything has gone just like he thought and planned. When Jenny heard the news of his and Laura's marriage he knew from Jenny's reaction that she wasn't happy about this. And when he figured out that Jenny cared about Laura more than anything and Laura was in love with someone else he was sure that Jenny will come to him and try to convince him to stop this marriage.

Well he was going to stop the marriage anyway when he figured out about Laura's feelings. He wasn't going to force Laura into this marriage and separate two people who are in love. No he wasn't such a bastard. But Jenny doesn't need to know that.

He knew that Jenny will to anything for Laura so he decided to use this to gain Jenny. He smiled. Yes, he was forcing Jenny to marry him but he wasn't feeling too guilty about this. Because he was sure there was no other man in Jenny's life and she has never let anyone into her heart. And she was never going to let HIM into her life in any other way and he wasn't about to let her out of his life. Because though they just met, Jack was already in love with her. And he plan to conquer her heart as well. But to do so he'll have to be in her life. So there wasn't really any other choice. He knew this was not going to be easy. Jenny was a challenge. But then again he loved challenges. And he was determined to make her his. He smiled to himself and picked his phone and dialed a number.

"Hello" said a deep voice.

"Hey dad congratulate me. I'm getting married!"

"Congratulation son. So you like Laura huh? I told you that you will like her. She is a very lovely girl." said Mr. Cooper excited.

"She is lovely indeed and yes I do like her. But not enough to marry her. It's her cousin Jenny I'm getting married to."

"But son me and Laura's dad..."

"Dad I'm in LOVE with Jenny."

"Really! Well then you will certainly marry Jenny. Don't worry I'll manage Jeremy. After all he is my best friend."

"Thanks dad."

"You are most welcome son. I'm just happy that someone has finally stolen your heart. This Jenny must be very special." Mr. cooper said excitedly.

"She certainly is dad. She certainly is." Jack said smiling to himself.

Jenny got into her car and started driving. She was fuming with anger so she took out all her frustration on her driving and drove like maniac. After 15 minutes she was home. So she parked her car got out of it and kicked the door shut. Then she entered into the house and went straight into the kitchen still fuming. Mrs. Parker was working in the kitchen. When she saw her daughter she smiled at her and said "Oh, you are home. Hungry?"

Jenny didn't reply. She grabbed a knife and started slicing the vegetables kept in the kitchen counter furiously without noticing what she was doing.

"Wow! Look at you! Working in the kitchen! Sun must have risen in the west!!!" Mrs Parker exclaimed.

Jenny didn't hear it either and continued doing what she was doing.

"That jerk ..... what does he think he is!" Jenny yelled to herself. "I will.. I will.... kill him. I will rip his head of his shoulder, I will break his legs, I will break all his teeth so that he couldn't show me his stupid grin ever. I will make his life hell! I will make him feel sorry that he was ever born!!!"

"Well that's to bad. Because all i want to do to him is give him a big hug." Mrs Parker said smiling.

Jenny came to reality and looked at her mother surprised. "What! What are you talking about?"

Mrs Parker pointed down to Jenny's hands grinning. "Well look what has he made you do!"

Jenny looked down and noticed for the first time what she has done. She has cut all the vegetables into perfect pieces! She! Jenny! Who doesn't even know how to hold a knife properly! She! Jenny! Who has never done any kitchen stuff! Who get's sick even at the idea of cooking!

"Wow Jenny. You are really very useful when you are mad. I'll have to try it on you very often", Mrs Parker said smirking, "Whoever this "he" is, he must be something."

"Oh he is something alright." Jenny said sarcastically. "I will tell you what he is. He is a Bastard! A jerk! A ......a....... I can't even find enough words to curse him. No word is bad enough to describe him!" Jenny fumed.

"Really. What has he done to deserve so much hatred?"

"He is trying to FORCE me to MARRY him!"

"He is trying to what!" Mrs Parker asked with astonishment. And then burst into laughing.

"Mom! Someone is trying to force your only daughter to marry him and you are laughing!!!"

"Sorry dear. It's just.......... well it's just hard to imagine that someone is trying to force YOU

into anything let alone into marriage!" Mrs Parker said stifling a laugh. "Who is he anyway?"

Jenny explained to her mother everything about what happened in Laura's house and then in Jack's office.

"Hmm...." Mrs Parker said "about time someone gather the courage to propose you."

"Mom he hasn't exactly proposed me. He is trying to force me into this marriage and I will never ever give in!"

"As if you would have gave in if he hadn't forced you and just politely asked you to marry him. Come on Jenny. I know you. You have send every single man running in the opposite direction who has as much as even looked at you in a romantic way."

"And I will send HIM running in the opposite direction too!"

"I doubt that. This guy has guts. I must tell you that I'm already impressed with him."

"YOU ARE WHAT!!!! How could you? He is a........" Jenny started yelling when the phone rang. Mrs Parker left the kitchen to pick the phone. After a few seconds she called, "Jenny it's for you. It's Laura."

"God what I'm gonna say to her?" Jenny asked herself, went to the living room and took the receiver from her mother's hand nervously.

"Hello." she said

"Hello Jenny" Laura's voice was hopeful. "What did he say. Did he agree? Will he stop the marriage." Laura asked excitedly.

"Umm.... well no i mean yeas. I mean....." Jenny hesitated.

"He didn't agree right?" Laura's voice dropped. "I will have to marry him right? There's nothing else to do. Oh God! What will i say to Boris?" Laura choked.

Hearing this Jenny's heart sank. She said quickly "No no. This won't happen. He has agreed to stop the marriage. I was just kidding."

"Really?" Laura screamed happily. "I don't believe this. You are sure about it?"

"Yes I'm sure. I promised you remember?" Jenny said affectionately.

"Oh thank you.T hank you so much. You saved my life! I don't know what to say. I......I....." Laura started crying with happiness.

"Hush Laura it's okay. Relax. Everything is ok now right? So be happy and stop crying."

"Kayyyy" laura said happily.

"Umm Laura can you give me Jack's number?"

"Sure. But why do you want his number?"

"Ah just wanted to say him thanks"

"Oh okay. Here is his number."

Jenny wrote down the number then talk to Laura some more and then they bid each other.

Jenny put the receiver back. "So Mr. Jack cooper. You wanted to marry me right? Fine then you WILL marry me. And I will make your life hell." Jenny said to herself and picked up the receiver and dialed Jack's number.

"Hello."

"Hello Jack. This is Jenny. I'm ready to marry you. So be prepared because soon you are going to wish that you were dead." Jenny said and then cut the line.

Jack put the receiver back on it's cradle and smiled hugely. "YOU be prepared my little tomboy," he thought to himself "because soon you are going to be TAMED

."

Chapter 5

Jenny looked at Laura. She looked stunning. And she was very happy. She was beaming with excitement. When Laura's dad came to know that Jack wants to marry Jenny instead of Laura he gladly accepted the fact and gave Laura permission to marry Boris. He was very happy for both Laura and Jenny. Though Jenny was his sister's daughter he has always loved Jenny as his own child. So he was happy that Jack loved her and was also happy to be free from the burden of the guilt of forcing her own daughter into marriage. So as soon as he came to know about Jack's intention of marring Jenny he told Laura to fix a wedding date with Boris. Laura's happiness was beyond measure and she did just what his father told her to do. She ran to Boris and fixed the wedding date right then. And today is the day. Yes toady is her wedding day. Actually today is THEIR wedding day. Both Laura and Jenny are getting married today. It was Laura's idea. When she heard that Jenny is getting married to Jack she suggested that they be married on the same day. Of course Jenny hasn't told Laura the real reason of her marriage to Jack. She knew Laura. She would've never agreed to this and would've sacrificed her love for Boris and get married to Jack. So Jenny simply told Laura that she was in love with Jack. Actually no one except Jenny's mom and Jenny and Jack themselves knew the real reason of Jenny's marriage with Jack. Everyone else were told that Jenny and Jack were madly in love with each other. Well the story was partially true as Jack was indeed madly in love with Jenny but Jenny hardly knew that. "Huh love!" Jenny scoffed in her mind. "As if I will ever love that bustard." Jenny looked at Laura again and saw her smiling face. And all her anger washed away. Laura was happy. And that was all that mattered to Jenny.

Jenny and Laura were done with their make ups. Jenny turned to Laura smiling "You look gorgeous Laura baby." she smiled.

Laura didn't reply and just gaped at her. Her mouth open.

"What's wrong?" Jenny asked worried.

"YOU! Jenny you.... you look......you look.....so.....so....beautiful! Beautiful isn't enough to describe your beauty. Wow Jenny!!! You look like an angel. A beautiful and gorgeous and innocent angel."

Jenny rolled her eyes and said "You look far more beautiful then I do. And I don't really.."

"Yeah yeah I know. You don't really care how do you look and all. I already know that.
That's why you always make a complete mess of yourself and hide that incredible beauty of yours. But today your beauty is unmasked and you look so fabulous that I'm sure Jack's head going to spin when he sees you." Laura said excitedly.

"As if i care!" Jenny thought bitterly but managed to gave Laura a smile.

Mrs. Parker entered the room and exclaimed "Jenny! Laura! You two look stunning!"
She hugged the two girls and dabbed her eyes. "Anyway" she said smiling, "Jeremy is waiting for you two. It's time!"

Mr. Dayton looked at the two brides in front of him. His daughter and his niece. They looked so beautiful. They were parts of his heart and today he was going to give them away. He will give both Laura and Jenny away as Jenny's father has died when she was 16 and he had brought Jenny up like a daughter since then. He took Laura's hand in his one hand and Jenny's hand in his other hand and together they started walking down the aisle.

Jack stood on the stage waiting. He was very happy and excited. Soon Jenny will be his forever. And then he heard the music start and looked up to see Jenny coming toward him and Boris along with Laura and Mr. Dayton. When he saw her he caught his breath. He was shocked, shocked by her beauty. His jaw dropped. He felt as like he was in a daze. He kept staring at her and after a few seconds he shook his head and regained composure. Mr. Dayton handed Laura to Boris and then he came to him and handed Jenny to him. An electric shock went through his body as he held his bride's hand. He grinned at Jenny and Jenny gave him a glare. Then the priest started to wed them and they were taking there vows. Soon the priest pronounced them man and wife and Jack leaned to Jenny to kiss her when she whispered hissing- "Don't even think about it. If you kiss me then I'll kill you!"

"I'll take the risk", Jack whispered back grinning and then took her in his arms and kissed her. As soon as their lips met he was lost in the sweetness of her lips. He kissed her sweetly at first and then passionately. Jenny struggled to break free but he tightened his grip on her west and kept kissing her. When he finally pulled away Jenny was shaking with anger.

"YOU_ARE_GONNA_PAY_FOR_THIS."

she whispered every words through her teeth.

Jack just smiled and said "Congratulation Mrs. Cooper. You just got yourself a husband!"

"Congratulate yourself Mr. cooper. Because you just got yourself a ticket to hell!" Jenny said through clenched teeth.
