(1) Bella Ramsey was born on the 30th of September 2003 in the city of Nottingham.

(2) Bella's full name is Isabella May Ramsey.

(4) Bella started acting at Loughborough’s Stagecoach Theatre.

(5) As a kid, Bella enrolled in the Television Workshop in Nottingham. The Television Workshop is a BAFTA award winning drama group and TV casting resource.

Also, Mildred and her friends make an invisibility potion. Similarities, include the fact that there's a mean teacher who hates the main character, and a popular blond kid who gets off on the wrong foot with the hero on the very first day. The series of Worst Witch books skews younger and tends to the lighter side of magic than the Harry Potter books. Many of the similarities are of the superficial, non-copyrightable type, though Murphy got there first.'

(22) Bella posted the following message on Instagram after leaving The Worst Witch - "Forever grateful for my time as Mildred in The Worst Witch... but there is a time for everything under the sun. And I decided last year, before series four started filming, that it was my time to say goodbye to Mildred. Thank you fans for all your support, thank you to the crew over the three years, thank you to all the residents of Cackles Academy, thank you to Jill Murphy for this wonderful world you created. It was completely my decision to say goodbye for reasons I can't really go into but to everyone reading this, please prioritise your mental health and do what's right for you."

(23) Bella seems to be fond of Continental 80s trainers. Continental 80s are a vintage-style shoe by Adidas that were originally (as the name suggests) released in the 1980s.

(24) Bella once played the back end of a cow (their older sister played the front) in a production of Jack And The Beanstalk at her local Stagecoach Performing Arts School in Loughborough.

(25) A common online question, believe it or not, is whether or not Bella is related to the bad tempered television chef Gordon Ramsay. The answer is of course NO. Their surnames aren't even spelled the same way!

(26) The Worst Witch adaptations seem to have a knack of finding future stars. The late 1990s ITV version featured a very young Felicity Jones as Ethel Hallow.

Bella's charisma is plain to see in this mostly non-verbal role and the special effects shot at the end is amazing for a low-budget short film.

(30) Bella was cast in the highly acclaimed HBO television adaptation of The Last of Us video game as Ellie. The Last of Us is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released for PlayStation 3 in 2013 and remastered for PlayStation 4 in 2014. The game takes place in a world ravaged by a fungal infection that turns humans into aggressive creatures. The story follows the journey of Joel and Ellie, two survivors who must cross the United States to find a group known as the Fireflies. Along the way, they face various challenges, including hostile human factions and dangerous infected monsters.

(31) Over 100 young actors auditioned for the part of Ellie in The Last of Us before Bella was chosen.

(32) Bella had a dialect coach to learn an American accent for The Last of Us. Bella said that learning to swear in an American accent was quite good fun!

(33) Bella auditioned for the part of Sophie in the Steven Spielberg film The BFG. The role was won by Ruby Barnhill in the end. This is actually another part that Millie Bobby Brown unsuccessfully auditioned for too. It can be a tough old world in the child acting business with so many talented kids in competition with one another.

(34) Bella's Last of Us co-star Pedro Pascal was in Game of Thrones too but he was killed off before Bella joined the show. Pedro and Bella only met for the first time when they started shooting The Last of Us.

(35) Bella played Lorna Loft in 'Judy' - a 2019 biographical drama film based on the life of the legendary entertainer Judy Garland. Lorna Luft is the daughter of Judy Garland.

(36) Bella is a fan of the Lazy Oaf fashion brand.

(37) The director on Bella's first Games of Thrones episode said they hardly needed to do any rehearsing because Bella was already word perfect and brilliant.

Catherine is determined to live life on her own terms, despite the restrictions placed upon her by society. She resents the expectations of her noble birth and yearns for freedom. The film version of Catherine Called Birdy was directed by Lena Dunham and garnered positive reviews.

(47) Bella has confessed to being a huge fan of the Eurovision Song Contest.

(48) If you have 25 minutes to spare you should definitely watch Bella in the 2019 short film Requiem. Requiem is set during the witch trials of 1605 and is a love story (Bella's character Evelyn falls for a friend named Mary) with a rich period horror atmosphere. Bella's performance is superb.

Her Ellie is a loveable little terror, full of charisma and bravado, serving as the perfect foil to Pascal's stoicism.'

"And it can open up a conversation about how it feels—as long as I’m aware of the fact that it’s not ideal, but also that finding alternatives is really complex."

(65) Bella said it was so cold shooting episode eight of The Last of Us outside in the snow that it was difficult to get the lines out.
