You Oughta Know

'And now, for our next artists, the amazing new band, THE GEEKS!'
People were screaming their heads off. I smiled. I'd never seen such a croud, especially for our first tour. People were screaming our names, my name.
'Alicia! Alicia! Alicia!'
I ran over to the croud, where I laid back as the croud were moving me around the stadium and still screaming my name.
'Alicia! Alicia! Alicia!'

'ALICIA!'
My head jolted up. I'd been asleep for the WHOLE LESSON! Mrs Dunelion was right above my desk - I could smell her sickening perfume, cold coffee and baby powder. YUCK! It was so gross. People in the class sniggered. Well, the mean ones. My friends - The Geeks - didn't.

The Geeks are a group of boys in my class who have musical talent. They're outcasts. Hardly anyone likes them. Except me. They asked me to be in their group. It's insane - I am the ONLY girl. That's right. The ONE AND ONLY girl in The Geeks. I wear geek glasses all the time for it (I LOVE breaking the uniform code!!), and they like it.

Dan is tall, dark and handsome. Ha ha ha! Not really. He's about my height (middle in the class), brunnette and enjoys breaking the uniform code aswell. I think he's my type of guy (but don't tell the others or I'll be for it!).

Billy is the short one, and he's a bit of a joker. He likes to laugh a LOT. Sometimes, he laughs so much in class that he has to go outside the classroom. He keeps laughing out there, so there are lots of lesson disruptions at session 4, on floor 2. Math. Why? Long story.

Alex... he's the sweet one. When the other 2 are at a dentist's appointment (or a psychologist if you're Billy... just kidding) or something, he's there for me. If one of us are feeling down, he's there for them. I wonder why nobody likes him. He's the tallest.

Then there's me. Alicia. The odd one out in The Geeks. Middle sized in the class, slender, blonde... popular. Something the others don't have. Popularity.

I was ready for one of Mrs Dunelion's lectures for the umpteenth time, but she just said: 'Try to stay awake next time.' How annoyingly helpful... NOT! After the lesson, she made me write lines. How boring!
I got bored, so I decided to have a bit of fun at some stages...

Ha! Have fun unscrambling THOSE, Mrs Dunelion! Mwahaha! (Don't ask, I am very good at French and mirror writing)

(Next chapter coming soon - what do you think?)
