Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1


It was a beautiful spring day on Green Hill and Sonic was thinking about how beautiful the day was.
“I hope to never leave this place,” he said to himself, “but there’s a whole world out there that I should visit.”
In his life, Sonic had always dreamed of visiting more places than staying at Green Hill, maybe even visiting some people or maybe even start dating. The only friends he had on Green Hill were Miles Prower (everyone called him Tails because he has 2 tails) and Knuckles the Echidna.
Tails was a Fox of 8 years. He was abandoned by his parents in a terrible fire that nearly destroyed his entire home. In his babyhood years, Tails would always get picked on by bullies because he had 2 tails. Just when Tails was about to commit suicide, Sonic found him outside on Green Hill. When Sonic asked what Tails was doing, Tails told Sonic everything, about his parents, about his home, and about everybody bullying him because of his 2 tails.
“Aww,” said Sonic, “I’m sorry that had to happen. As for the tails, I think they’re just jealous of you little buddy. I mean, I think they’re cool.”
“Really?” asked Tails. “You mean it?”
“Of course.”
Tails smiled and ever since that day, him and Sonic have been best friends.
Knuckles was an echidna who belonged to a tribe of his own kind. His job was to protect the master emerald, a very powerful object that concealed a creature called Chaos. On one of their many adventures, Sonic and Tails met him at Angel Island, but Knuckles thought that they were enemies because Dr. Robotnik tricked him. But in the end, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles became friends.
Sonic was a blue hedgehog and is a very fast one. He is faster than the speed of sound. Sonic was a very good guy who cared about his friends and saved the world from Robotnik every time. In a few days, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles would be starting high school in Station Square High. The three of them always stayed there when it was time for school.
“Can’t believe we’re going to high school,” said Tails. “This is going to be awesome!!”
“I think you’re right Tails,” Sonic nodded in agreement, “but we’ll have to be careful.”
Knuckles stared at him then said, “What do you mean Sonic? There can’t be any possible danger in high school, could there?”
“Well, anything can happen,” said Sonic simply.
“Sonic, you worry too much,” said Tails. “Even if Eggman shows up, you can still beat him up.”
“That’s not what I mean,” Sonic replied. “I mean this is the time when guys our age start dating. I just won’t know what to say to very cute girls.”
“You still got Sally,” said Knuckles.
“Yeah, but I don’t love her anymore,” Sonic said looking depressed.
Knuckles patted Sonic’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry buddy,” he said. “You’ll get over your breakup with her soon enough. Trust me. Have I ever steered you wrong before?”
“Yes, when you tried to kill me for thinking that Tails and I were trying to steal the Master Emerald.”
“Okay, but that was just one time,” said Knuckles. “There’s a lot of other fish in the sea. I’m sure you’ll find the one you’re looking for soon enough.”
Sonic was going to argue with Knuckles, but thought better of it. Instead, he nodded and hoped that Knuckles was right.

Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2


It was the next day, and Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles were already at the train station in Station Square, ready for their long school year stay. The three of them got their luggage and off they were to stay at the hotel. Their journey wasn’t very eventful, but a car almost ran Knuckles over
“WATCH WHERE YOU’RE GOING PAL!!” the owner of the car had yelled.
“THAT’S A GOOD WAY TO KILL SOMEBODY!!” roared Knuckles. “Gosh, this city is crazy! This is why I hate staying here!!”
“Aww, Knuckles, cheer up,” said Tails looking at his watch, “we’ll be at the hotel in 5 minutes if we keep walking.”
“I hope Knuckles was right about what he said yesterday,” thought Sonic. At a time like this, it was hard not to think about Sally Acorn.
“Sonic? Sonic?! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC!!!”
“HUH?! WHAT?!” shouted Sonic in surprise.
“ WE’RE HERE!!” yelled Tails.
“SHUT UP TAILS, YOU CAN STOP YELLING IN MY EAR! I DON’T THINK I CAN GET ANYMORE DEAF! CAPESH?”
“OKAY,” yelled Tails.
Sonic glared at him.
“Okay,” whispered Tails.
Sonic looked up. There, right in front of him, was the hotel.
“What were you thinking about anyway Sonic?” asked Knuckles.
“Oh, just about how good looking I am,” said Sonic with a shy smile.
“Yeah, okay,” said Knuckles with a look that could tell that Sonic was lying.
The three of them entered the hotel. It had a huge hall, with glowing chandeliers. It was a replica of the Titanic’s grand staircase room except it wasn’t on a boat.
“Three rooms please,” said Knuckles.
“Three hundred dollars,” said the manager of the hotel.
Sonic and Tails stared at Knuckles.
“Hey, don’t look at me. I’m broke!” panicked Knuckles
“Fine,” said Tails. He took out three hundred dollars and handed it to the manger.
“Here are your keys,” said the man. “Have a nice stay.”
“You coming Sonic?” asked Tails when he noticed that Sonic wasn’t going upstairs.
“You 2 go ahead. I wanna stay down here a little bit.”
“Alright. Come on Knuckles.”
Sonic went back downstairs to get some dinner. He was very hungry after his long journey. Just when he was about to head to the hotel’s restaurant, he knocked into someone. A furry pink hedgehog.

Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3


“Amy? Is that you?”
“Who is it? Sonic?!” said the pink hedgehog in shock.
“It is you!” said Sonic and he smiled.
Sonic couldn’t believe it. He hadn’t seen Amy Rose ever since he saved her from Metal Sonic (one of Dr. Eggman’s creations). She was older, had a change of clothes, but it was still Amy Rose just as pink and furry as ever.
“I have to say that this is a surprise,” said Sonic.
“What are you doing here?” asked Amy.
“Going to school here. You?”
“Me too!!”
“Really? That’s great Amy!”
“But, I have to ask this,” said Amy, “what are you doing out here this late?”
“Heading to get some dinner,” said Sonic.
“Really? I was just about to head to the restaurant to get something to eat myself.”
“Hey,” said Sonic, “I have an idea. Wanna join me for dinner?”
“Oh, would I ever!” said Amy.
“Let me help you with your stuff first,” said Sonic and he picked up some of the luggage that Amy dropped.
“Thanks Sonic,” said Amy picking up her stuff too, “this stuff is really…”
She paused and at that instant, Sonic knew why. He was trying to pick up Amy’s last bag and Amy was trying to pick up that last bag too. While doing it, their hands touched each other. Sonic tried to hide the blush and from the looks of Amy, she was trying hard to hide her blush too.
“We should get going then,” said Sonic.
“Wha--? Oh of course,” said Amy.


After putting the entire luggage in Amy’s room, they both headed down to the restaurant.
“So,” said Sonic starting conversation from their walk down, “what have you been doing ever since I saved you.”
“Well, first off, I was trying to look for you again,” said Amy.
Sonic blushed, but he pretended not to notice it.
“When I couldn’t find you, I gave up,” continued Amy. “I then started dating other boys. All of them didn’t work out. They all thought for some reason, that I was crazy.”
“You are crazy,” said Sonic, “in a good way.”
“Thanks Sonic,” said Amy, “but what I mean is they wouldn’t treat me like a lady, you know what I mean?”
“Um… I g-guess,” stuttered Sonic. “Why wouldn’t they treat you like a lady though? A girl as beautiful as you, you definitely deserve to be treated like a lady.”
Amy blushed. “Sonic, that was probably one of the nicest things you ever said to me.” Then she hugged him
Sonic blushed and hugged her back. “Dang I’m good at this,” he thought.
“So Ames, shall we head to dinner?” said Sonic in a much more manly voice.
“Of course,” said Amy in a British accent.

Chapter 4

CHAPTER 4


Sonic and Amy didn’t go to the hotel’s restaurant. Instead, they went to a Mexican restaurant where everybody could eat, talk, and dance to music.
“This is one of my favorite places to eat,” said Sonic. “It may be expensive, but it’s awesome!”
When they both took their seats, they ordered their food and decided to talk about themselves.
“You first,” they said together. “I mean…”
Sonic and Amy laughed.
“Okay, you first,” said Amy.
“Well,” said Sonic, “I think you remember Tails and Knuckles when you were younger, right?”
“Tails and Knuckles? Are they with you too?” asked Amy.
Sonic nodded. “They come to school with me here every year. Anyway, I haven’t been doing much lately; it’s kind of been boring without Eggman around so much. Oh, and I also just broke up with my ex-girlfriend, Sally Acorn.”
“Aww, I’m sorry Sonic,” said Amy passionately and holding his hand.
“I don’t really feel bad about it, so don’t be,” said Sonic. “The reason I broke up with her was because she keeps treating me like dirt for some reason and I’m tired of it. I don’t care if she comes up to me and says ‘I’m sorry Sonic, I still love you. Please come back to me!’ Ha! As if! I’m never going back to that crazy psycho.” Then Sonic coughed and said, “But enough about me. What about you?”
“Sorry if I’m holding your hand,” said Amy, “do you want me to stop?”
“It’s alright keep doing it. I like it.” Sonic winked at her.
“Well, in that case,” smiled Amy, “after all those dates, I started to give up hope. I thought I would never see you again because you were the one I could really depend on. But, you are always so busy saving the world from Eggman that I thought I would never get the chance to talk to you again.” Then, Amy cried.
“Well,” whispered Sonic in her ear, “I’m here now and you don’t have to worry. Because I’m glad to see you again too.”
Amy smiled and then said, “Thanks Sonic.”
“No problem Ames. Wanna dance the night away?”
“I’d love to,” said Amy, smiling.
They both got up, and Sonic and Amy started dancing to a slow Spanish guitar solo.

Chapter 5

CHAPTER 5


“Sonic that was the best night ever!” shouted Amy excitedly.
“I’m happy you loved it Ames,” said Sonic, “because I did too.”
Sonic hesitated; he had been thinking about saying this to Amy all night long.
“Amy,” said Sonic, “I was just wondering. Would you… of course you don’t have to, but… would you like to go out with me?”
“Sonic, I’d love to!” yelled Amy excitedly and she hugged him tightly. “I know you just won’t be like those other…”
“Shh,” whispered Sonic in Amy’s ear, “not another word. I’ve been saving this for tonight.”
He leaned in towards Amy and she to Sonic. They were so close that their noses almost touched each other. But, before Sonic could kiss her, he heard a deep animal growl. Probably the most terrible growl Sonic had ever heard.
“Sonic?” asked Amy. “Did you hear that?”
“It’s probably some ani… AMY WATCH OUT!!”
When Sonic yelled that, a huge animal jumped out from behind a bush. It was huge and dark with sharp teeth and claws and thick fur. It was a huge wolf. Sonic pushed Amy out of the way and the animal pounced on him. Sonic tried punching it and then the wolf started to growl, biting Sonic painfully on the shoulder.
“AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” shrieked Sonic into the night.
“AMY GET OUT OF HERE!” yelled Sonic. “PLEASE, I CAN’T LET YOU GET HURT!”
“But, Sonikku…” said Amy.
“I’LL BE FINE AMY! I PROMISE!” shouted Sonic.
Sonic then punched the wolf in its snout and the animal finally let go.
“Come on, shaggy! Give it your best shot, I dare you!” yelled Sonic at the beast.
The beast just stood there growling and licking its teeth.
“COME ON!!” shrieked Sonic.
The wolf pounced and Sonic stabbed in the stomach with a knife.
With a last horrible growl, the wolf took its final breath. The beast was dead! Sonic then fell unconscious as he felt himself slide into Amy’s arms.

Chapter 6

CHAPTER 6


“Huh? What the…”
Sonic woke up and he was covered in bandages. He felt so badly wounded after the fight with the huge wolf. He saw red stains on the bandages that looked like blood. Sonic sat up and recognized the room he was in. He was in his own hotel room. Amy must’ve helped him here.
“Thank God. I hope Amy’s alright,” said Sonic. He could still feel the pain in his shoulder in which the beast bit him.
“Ouch!” said Sonic. He looked at his shoulder to touch his wound. Only, his wound wasn’t there anymore. All that was left on his shoulder was a scar that looked like a bite mark. Sonic got up from his bed, opened the door, and looked through the hallway. There was no one there, just him and the hotel employees.
He laid back down on the bed and heard a knock. Sonic went to get the door and it was Tails and Knuckles.
“FOR EGGMAN’S SAKE SONIC, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!” yelled Tails. “YOU’VE BEEN GONE FOR HOURS!!”
“EXPLAIN YOURSELF!!” shrieked Knuckles.
“I don’t realize if you’ve noticed,” said Sonic, “but people are trying to sleep here!”
“Sorry man, we were just worried about you,” said Knuckles. “Go on then, tell us what happened.”
Sonic told Tails and Knuckles everything, about seeing Amy again, their date, how Sonic had asked her out and they almost kissed, when he had been bitten by the giant wolf and killed it with a single stab of his knife.
“You saw Amy?” asked Tails. “It’s like been ages! But anyway, that’s some story. And all of a sudden when you woke up, the wounds were gone?”
“That’s pretty much what happened,” said Sonic.
“Well, you better get some sleep. Long day tomorrow. First day of high school,” said Knuckles.
Tails and Knuckles left. However, they weren’t the only visitors that night. A few minutes later, Amy walked in and was relieved. She ran over on the bed to hug Sonic and he returned the hug.
“It’s okay Amy,” said Sonic shocked, “I’m fine.”
“You could’ve died,” cried Amy into Sonic’s shoulder. “I should’ve helped you. I deserve to be dumped if I’m ever in a relationship with you. I’m sorry Sonic!!”
“Amy,” Sonic looked shocked. “Don’t say that, I would never do that if I was in a relationship with you.”
“Really?” asked Amy, who stopped crying when Sonic said that. “You mean it?”
“Of course I mean it,” said Sonic, “you’re one of my best friends!”
“Oh Sonic thank…” started Amy, but she never got to finish because when Sonic leaned close to her, without even thinking about it, he kissed Amy.
They were making out a long time. Amy didn’t leave Sonic’s room that night. She stayed in his bed with him.
“I love you Ames,” said Sonic looking at her in a passionate way.
“I love you too Sonikku,” said Amy staring at him in a passionate way too.
“Will you be my girl?” asked Sonic.
“Oh, Sonic, I’d love too!” screamed Amy excitedly.
And Amy finally fell asleep on Sonic’s shoulder, while Sonic was still staring at that yellow full moon.
“Tonight has been a good night,” thought Sonic, “I will never forget this night. Good night Amy, sweet dreams.”
And he patted Amy’s head, kissed her on the forehead, and fell asleep too, smiling.

Chapter 7

CHAPTER 7


Sonic and Amy woke up that morning to find out that it was their first day of high school.
“Ready Ames?” asked Sonic.
“Ready,” replied Amy.
They both headed downstairs to meet Tails and Knuckles, and they were all dressed and washed up.
“So excited!!” said Tails.
“I know right?” said Knuckles excitedly.
So Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles headed to school on foot because the bus driver was taking the day off. Sonic was thinking about last night. It had been a night of injury and of love. Sonic then held Amy’s hand and she blushed.
“Uh… why are you 2 holding hands?” asked Tails.
“Tails, leave em alone,” said Knuckles, “they’re probably in a relationship.”
“Okay, let’s leave them alone then,” said Tails, “I’m too young to be watching this anyway.”
And Tails and Knuckles left them alone.
“So… what do you wanna do today after school?” asked Sonic.
“Oh, I don’t know, go to the movies,” suggested Amy.
“Sounds good to me,” said Sonic winking.
Finally, Sonic and Amy got to school. They saw Tails and Knuckles ahead of them talking angrily to two animals. A black hedgehog and a bat. The hedgehog turned around and gave Sonic a cold dark look and Sonic recognized that hedgehog and the bat almost at once.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Sonic,” said Shadow the Hedgehog.
Sonic glared at him and the bat Rouge. He had last seen Shadow and Rouge aboard the Space Colony ARK, which was shut down 50 years ago. Sonic remembered Shadow impersonating him and framing him for crimes that Sonic had never done in his life. As for his girlfriend, Rouge, she was a treasure hunter and tried to steal Knuckles’ master emerald and she just picked up stuff and stole other peoples things.
“It’s been a long time faker,” said Shadow.
“You’re one to talk Shadow!!” yelled Sonic back at him.
“Ooh, sounds like someone is losing his temper,” said Rouge in her usual tempting foxy voice.
“Leave Sonic alone, both of you!!” yelled Amy.
“What’s the matter faker?” asked Shadow. “Gonna have your girlfriend do all the talking for you? You actually think you’re better than me, do you? Well here’s what I think of you!” And he kicked mud onto Sonic’s clothes. “Robotnik eats punks like you for breakfast.” Shadow smirked.
Sonic looked at his clothes than back at Shadow. His eyes turned from green to red. He didn’t know what made him do what he was doing right now. All he knew was that he was running at Shadow and wanted to hurt him as bad as he could. Without even thinking, he punched Shadow and he flew back onto a pole.
“Ow!!” yelled Shadow. “What are you doing?!”
“YOU LITTLE WEASEL!!” yelled Sonic in a much deeper, growling voice. “I’LL TEAR YOU APART!! PICK ON SOMEBODY YOUR OWN SIZE, WILL YA!!” Sonic was about to punch him hard in the face again.
“HELP SOMEBODY!!” screamed Rouge. “THIS BLUE HEDGEHOG’S A MURDERER!!”
“SONIC, NO!!” said Knuckles and he grabbed Sonic’s fist. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
Then, Sonic’s eyes turned back to green and he had his normal voice again.
“Knuckles,” he said surprised. “I… I… Where am I?”
Everybody was gaping at Sonic open mouthed. Sonic started to sweat and bit his lower lip.
“Alright! Get out of here everyone!” yelled Tails. “Nothing to see here!!”
Sonic let go of Shadow and he fell to the ground with a thump. Sonic grabbed his own forehead and started to think.
“What happened?” he asked himself quietly. “What did I just do to Shadow?”
“Sonic, are you okay?” asked Amy with a concerned look.
“I don’t know If I am or not Amy. I’m probably better than Shadow anyway,” said Sonic. Amy giggled at his joke.
“But seriously, what happened?” asked Amy.
“Yeah Sonic, just what in the blazes did you think you were doing?” said Knuckles. “You never act this way.”
“I don’t know,” said Sonic. “I… I g-guess h-he just pushed the right b-b-b-button.”
“That’s one heck of a button he has,” whispered Tails to Knuckles and he nodded.
“Well, we better get to class,” said Amy.
“You’re right,” said Tails, “we got four minutes left. Let’s go!!”

Chapter 8

CHAPTER 8


Sonic, Amy, Tails, and Knuckles found their first 2 classes okay. In fact, on their first day, the four of them didn’t get lost once. Sonic and Amy had almost all of their classes together, including Math, English, Geography, and P.E, but only one class with Tails and Knuckles and that was Science.
After English, Sonic and Amy went to P.E, their last morning class of the day. They were to be showing off acrobatic, agility, and speed skills. However, there was bad news. Shadow and Rouge had this class with them too.
When Sonic and Amy were trying to find their seats, Rouge tripped Amy.
“Ouch,” said Amy when she hit a gym bench.
“Amy are you okay?” asked Sonic.
“‘Amy are you okay?’” mimicked Shadow. Rouge laughed. “How pathetic,” he continued, “Both are you are such losers.”
“JUST STAY AWAY FROM US!!” yelled Sonic.
“What are you gonna do about…” said Shadow, but when he saw that Sonic’s eyes turned red again, he said, “Rouge, let’s go find a seat.”
Sonic’s eyes turned green again.
“Sonic, why are your eyes turning red?” asked Amy. “It’s scaring me.”
“It’s creeping me out too Amy,” said Sonic in agreement. “But I have no idea what’s happening. I’ll ask Tails to get a blood sample of mine once we get out of school.”
The class teacher was Coach Little, even though he was very tall.
“Class there is an obstacle course I made,” he said and he pointed toward the obstacle course, “and I want you to do the very best you can. Got it? Good. OK, up first, Amy Rose.”
Everybody clapped except Shadow and Rouge.
Sonic thought Amy was very good at being acrobatic. In fact, she got one hundred percent.
“Good job Ames,” said Sonic.
Everyone else went and finally, it was Sonic’s turn. Sonic walked up to the beginning of the course and the timer started. He started running faster than he had ever ran before. Then, there were robots, and he punched through them all with his fists.
“Whoa! Incredible,” gasped one of the students.
After Sonic got done with the obstacle course, he got the highest score.
“See ya next class everybody!!” called Coach Little.
At lunch, Sonic and Amy found Tails and Knuckles sitting with Cosmo (a green plant), Cream and Cheese (a rabbit and a chao), and Tikal (another echidna and Knuckles’ girlfriend). They were all surprised that Sonic had meat on his tray.
“Uh, Mr. Sonic,” said Cream. “You have steak on your plate.”
“I know,” said Sonic.
“But, Sonic, you’re a vegetarian,” said Tails.
“Not anymore,” said Sonic, “because after I woke up this morning, I’ve been feeling like a whole different hedgehog. It’s great that I’m trying new things right?”
“Yeah, I guess,” said Tikal looking at Sonic in concern.
“Tails, can I have a private word with you?” asked Sonic.
“Sure,” said Tails. “Be right back Cosmo.”
“Okay,” said Cosmo.
So Sonic took Tails aside in the bathroom and told him that strange things were happening to him in gym class.
“This is weird,” said Tails, “definitely interesting.”
“But that’s not all,” said Sonic. “Tails, I… I think I’m going mad. I mean, when Shadow and Rouge are near Amy and me, or when they insult us, or when they trip us, I just feel so angry all the time now. What have I become?”
“Sonic, listen to me,” Tails said seriously, “you’re a good person. You’re probably still going through puberty or something. It’s probably not that bad.”
“Can you at least take a sample of my blood when we get home, just in case?” asked Sonic.
“Sure, I’ll do that,” said Tails. “Just stop worrying.”
And Tails left Sonic in the bathroom staring at his reflection in the mirror. When Sonic looked at himself, he saw a wolf-like creature that looked just like him staring right back at him.
“AHHHHHH!!!” screamed Sonic. “What was that?! What’s happening to me?”

Chapter 9

CHAPTER 9


That afternoon after school, Sonic, Amy, Tails, and Knuckles went back to the hotel and went to do their homework. Their homework was to do some math problems, write an essay for their first day of school to be turned in on Friday, and get the rest of their school supplies.
Sonic and Amy studied together, while Tails and Knuckles were in their other rooms doing their homework.
“Sonic?” asked Amy when Sonic was on problem 18 of his math homework.
“Yes Ames?” Sonic replied.
“Thank you, for standing up for me today, in gym class in front of Shadow and Rouge. I know your eyes turned red, but thank you very much.”
“Of course Ames,” said Sonic, “I’d do anything for you because you mean that much to me.” And he kissed Amy and Amy kissed him back.
There was a knock on the door.
“Hold those lips, I’ll be right back,” flirted Sonic and he got the door. It was Tails.
“Hey Sonic, you wanted me to get a blood sample of yours,” said Tails.
“Oh yeah,” said Sonic, “I’m coming. I’ll be right back in a few minutes Amy.”
“Ok Sonikku,” said Amy.
So Sonic followed Tails into his room and Tails’ room looked like a laboratory.
“Yeah, I kind of did some decoration around the place,” said Tails embarrassed. “Anyways, have a seat; I’ll get a blood sample of you.”
Sonic took his seat and gave Tails his arm so Tails could get a blood sample. His blood was a different color now. Instead of being light red, it was now a darker red.
“It looks different than my regular blood Tails,” he said in a scared voice.
“It is very strange,” Tails said in agreement, “but I’ll have to run some tests to make sure. Here, lay down and watch some TV; the results will be ready in an hour or two.”
Sonic did what he was told and turned on the TV. He changed the channel to the evening news.
“Tonight,” said the weatherman, “there will be another full moon tonight and it will be partly cloudy with 50% chances of rain. So everybody, wear heavy coats because it will be very cold out tonight here in Station Square.”
It was 90 minutes later and Tails came to Sonic with the results. By the look on Tails’ face, Sonic knew at once that it wasn’t good news.
“What is it?” asked Sonic. “Tails, am I dying, do I have rabies, have I been drinking too much cups of coffee?!”
“No, it’s none of those things,” said Tails. “It’s worse, much worse. OK, here are your blood samples.” He pulled out 2 blood samples of Sonic’s and he put them on a projector. “Here was your blood sample a few days ago.” The blood was light red. “Here, is your blood sample today.” Sonic recognized the blood as the strange dark red liquid Tails had taken out of him 90 minutes ago. “Sonic, this is very bad news. You’re not poisoned, but as I said it’s worse, much worse.”
“So what’s happening to me?” asked Sonic. “I mean I thought my eyes turning red was just a change of eye color and it’s still creeping me out.”
“Look,” said Tails. “You know the night when you fought and killed that giant wolf. That wasn’t an ordinary wolf.”
“Tails, what was it? Please, I need to know!”
“Sonic, that was a werewolf that bit you,” said Tails sadly.
Sonic looked out of Tails’ window. The full moon was just on the horizon and it was rising.
“Which means?” he asked.
“I hate to say it, but…” Tails paused.
“Well?”
“You’re cursed Sonic,” said Tails. “When that full moon rises, you’ll transform and only God knows what you’ll do. You could rampage through the city, you could kill people, heck you could even destroy the city! I’m sorry Sonic.”
Sonic looked at the moon. When he felt a pain inside himself he knew Tails was right. That pain meant he was about to transform.
“Sonic? OH NO!!” yelled Tails and he ran out of the room.

Chapter 10

CHAPTER 10


“NO TAILS!!” shrieked Sonic in pain and agony. “PLEASE DON’T LEAVE ME!!!”
He knew that Tails wouldn’t come back, but what else could he do. Sonic grunted and started to sweat all over. The pain was beyond anything he could’ve possibly imagined. It was more painful than the werewolf’s bite itself.
“AHHHHH THE PAIN!! THE PAIN!!” screamed Sonic.
Sonic than heard something. His bones were crunching and his gloves were tearing.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!”
His nails were now sharpening into claws, his snout was growing wider.
“SO PAINFUL!!” yelled Sonic in the same deep growling voice he had yelled at Shadow in.
“I wonder if anyone can he here me,” Sonic thought painfully.
The pain was not over yet. Now his spine was growing and his back bones were stretching. Sonic felt fur going all over his body.
“WHEN WILL THIS END!!” shrieked Sonic. His clothes were tearing and all that was left on him were his jeans and parts of his shirt. His eyes turned red and Sonic had fully transformed. The Werehog was finally awakened. With a howl at the full moon and jumping through the window, the beast was ready to kill.
