Dedication

I dedicate this book to everyone who has suffered or is suffering from memory loss.
To the people diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and their caregivers.
To anyone who has lost a loved one or close friend.

Introduction

As we grow older, changes in the ability to remember events may occur. Changes are noticeable in short-term memory( memory for events that happened in the recent past) is lost and long term memory(memory for events that happened long ago) is usually keen.

Alzheimer's disease is an irreversible, progressive disease that affects brain function. The messages in the brain become confused, and memory fails.

Losing a loved one can be disconcerting but we can rest assured that we won't forget them. They won't forget us. Their legacy will live through one person or another.

no longer echoes childish feet.
And the yard is still so still.
But I see
