NOW THAT ME AND KAT CAN SEE EVERYTHING THANKS TO SEYNE, IT'S BEEN PRETTY COOL.
It turned out that Quinn, my brother, is a month older than me and we have a few things in common.
Except for our favorite colors, hair color, piercings, music taste, weight, height,
personality, eye color, and style. But other than that, we were almost the same.
Almost. He had coffee colored hair like my dad, and blue eyes like my mom, and he's pretty tall.
His favorite color is red, and he was wearing a grey t-shirt with Tony Hawk's name sprawled on the front,
pale beige colored pants, black and white Jordan's they called them or whatever? and had his hands in his pockets, just smiling at me. I gave him my old People smile, and went back to my room. My mom came into my room, and her platinum hair was in a tight bun, a stray hair in her blue eyes. She was wearing a baby blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, and her brown boots clacked on the dark oak wood. She had glistening eyes, and her smile was dazzling.
My mind was babbling on random things, "How'd I get related to her? Was I adopted? What?"
I forced my mouth to smile back. I could've sworn my face was almost about to freeze smiling.
"Oh, honey!" She laughed, and hugged me so tight, I was literally straining, and forced my throat to make words.
"Ha-ow!-Okay, I love you too-ow!" She released me, and kissed my cheek. I smiled at her,
not the boring old, get-me-out-of-this smile, but just my normal Alice smile.
She still smelled like her pine cones and lavender smell, just like always. She sighed, still looking at me and smiling, and said, "Lunch at 12:55!" and left, laughing to herself.
I got a ring from my phone, and saw it was text from my ever so beautiful Kat, and literally
jumped off my bed to change quickly. I closed the white wood door, and pulled on my black jeans, my black socks,
combat boots, a My Chemical Romance shirt, and an oversize army jacket. I fixed my black outlined eyes,
and put my hair into my usual side ponytail, and fixed my long, white bangs.
TURNED OUT THAT THE THREE TEENAGERS WERE ACTUALLY 15, AND ARE FRIENDS WITH US NOW.
I found out that the girl with snakebites was Kate, and the guy with the neon blue streak in his hair was named Jake, and the last guy, Zachary, had his septum pierced, and had dark green hair. "So zom Kat, when's your date with the lovely Alice?" Jake asked in a French accent. I smiled, and said "It isn't ACTUALLY a date..," and blushed. "Okay, so it's okay if we come?" Jake asked, leaning near my face, and staring at me. Jake made stupid faces, and I pushed him away. "Uh, no." "Please??" Kate jumped up and down, and Zachary smiled. I sighed. "Fine." Kate literally hugged me so tight I couldn't breathe, and I heard a familiar voice. "Don't cheat on me." Alice was smiling at me, her face that beautiful pale, and her hair that matched the autumn-spring scene. She kissed my cheek, and Kate took a picture. I gave Kate a look that said, Really? And she giggled. Zachary broke the awkward silence by saying, "so where we going?" I looked Alice. "That's up to Alice." Alice beamed, and kissed me again, this time on my lips, and she thought for a moment. "Maybe the place called...UnFamili4r?" Zachary laughed, but in the joking way, and said, "you mean the really cool emo and goth club?" Alice nodded, and I smiled. "You have great taste, ye old Alice."
Jake suddenly jumped in between me and Alice and said, "anyone notice Kat and Alice and Kate are all MILF names?" Alice punched his arm, and he smiled. "So the UnFamili4r club it tis." We all nodded, and we got in Kate's car, a black Mercedes-Benz Wald, and waited for her to rev up until Alice asked, "aren't you 15?" Kate sang, "going on 16!" and we all laughed. Kate reapplied her maroon lips and adjusted her pastel rose and spike headband, and then she finally revved the Mercedes into drive at the speed of 50 MPH. All the while we sang the lyrics to "Don't Go" by Bring Me The Horizon. It was fun, and I wish it could never end. But, it did since we arrived at UnFamili4r.
"Ain't it pretteh?" Kate said. She got out fake IDs', and my name was Kat Rellevins. Alice's was Alice Robertson, and the others' had their first name and different last names. We went to the end of the line and waited for our turn to get into UnFamili4r.
"HOW'D YOUR PARENTS BUY YOU THIS CAR AND LET YOU DRIVE IT?" I ASKED KATE.
"I had to prove to them that I was responsible, which was not easy at all," Kate replied. Her high-waisted leather skirt swayed, and once in a while, she'd pick her tights or unzip and zip her pastel pink creepers.
"And it was easy?" She laughed, and said, "do you think it's easy to prove to your parents that you're a responsible 15 year old girl ready to drive a car without a license?" I nodded no, and she slung her arm around my shoulder.
"Everything is hard, but sometimes it's worth it." I made a mental note of her quote and gripped onto Kat's hand. She smiled at me and whispered, "it'll be fine, my lovely." I couldn't help but smile, and I bit my lip. She giggled, and said "ah, I love it when you do that." Kate smiled at her and replied, "who doesn't?" Zachary came over, and said "me." He had a stereotypical depressed emo face, and he couldn't help but break character and laugh out loud. Jake joined in and danced with him, while Kate was pushing their heads together and muttering, "KEEEEESSS." Kat laughed, and I gripped her hand tighter and smiled. "I'm not gay!" Zachary pulled away from Jake while Zach was giving Jake his neck so their lips wouldn't touch. "Aw, I thought my little Zachary was gay. I mean you tried kissing Carter Portman." "Oh yeah! Remember when Zach wanted to run to Carter?" Kate laughed, her eyes watering. "Yeah! He, oh my god; he, Zach was dared to kiss Carter and he was in a 'phase' as he called it, and he ran after him and grabbed his neck and like, tried to kiss him, but Carter freaked out because Zach has freezing hands...yeah!" Zach turned bright red. Kate held his head with her hands, and patted his head. "My little Zach is a spawn of tomato." Zach laughed, and Jake was screaming of laughter, clutching his stomach.
"You guys are asses." Kate and Jake laughed, but Zach failed at trying to keep a straight face, and he actually smiled. Kat looked happy, but I started to think that I wasn't enough.
ZACH WAS PRETTY MUCH HUMILIATED, THE POOR DUDE.
Alice looked uncomfortable, and I hugged her close to me. She buried the side of her head near my chest and I held her head, making our noses kiss. "What am I going to do with you, you little nugget?" Alice couldn't keep a straight face, so she giggled and looked away, and put her arms around the side of my waist.
Kate was fumbling with her white collar and black sweater, and Jake took her hands and pointed to the UnF4mliar and she smiled and stared at the doors. "Oh yeah...the club. Psh. Let's go, you bears!" She grabbed my hand and Zachary was hanging behind me while Jake was walking with Kate, side by side. I stole a glance behind me and saw Zachary staring at the ground. I felt guilt stab my chest, and a rebellious tear escaped my eye. Luckily, Alice and the others didn't notice, and I wiped it away, glad that my eyeliner isn't one of those cheap running ones.
I honestly don't know why I teared up when Zach got humiliated.
Everyone was minding their own business in the club, and Alice was sitting next to me on the black leather couch.
Zachary was sitting at the far end of the couch, not too far, but not too close, either. I inched closer to him, since Alice fell asleep, and I gently put her head on the nearby fuzzy lettered pillow marked with "F". The other "U", "C", and "K" were near the other sides of the couch. I finally reached Zachary, and he had his knees against his chest, his hands clasped. He was staring ahead, his black snapback hat flipped, so the back side was facing the front. His black skeleton shirt was bunched up in the front, and his jeans were stretched due to it's skinniness. His black and grey Vans were near the edge of the couch, and he kept staring ahead. "Hey, you okay?" I asked.
He looked at me, and his eyes were bloodshot as if he were crying.
"Oh my god, are you okay?" I asked again. I rubbed his back, and he broke into sobs. My mind was racing.
"what, but...all they did was embarrass him, it wasn't that much of a big deal..."
I immediately went to him and wrapped my arms around him. He held me tight, his fingers grabbing my jacket.
I let him, knowing he'd need to in order for his sobbing to subside.
"Zachary, what's wrong?" I asked him again. "They didn't mean it-"
"It's not that, Kat." He answered in a hushed whisper.
"Then what is it?" I asked.
"I can't have you. That's the problem." He answered.
But before I could answer, Zachary's face paled even more. "Kat..."
I looked at his eyes. "Kat, Alice is gone."
I WAS IN A ROOM, IT SEEMED. THERE WERE NO WALLS OR CEILING THOUGH.
There were paintings of memories everywhere. Then I saw an unfamiliar face drift past.
"Up already?" It asked. It's body wasn't visible, but it's face was. Male...at least 24 years of age.
Electric pink hair...neon blue plugs...brown eyes.
Unfamiliar.
Where was I? The last thing I remembered was falling asleep on Kat's shoulder. And then...nothing.
I tried rubbing my eyes, but my hands seemed to be tied.
Suddenly I panicked. "IS HE GOING TO RAPE ME?" Thoughts rushed in and out.
I screamed, kicking everything. The picture frames wobbled, and then everything was black again. I opened my eyes again. The man with the pink hair and plugs took his HAIR OFF? No...no it was a wig.
"Shh. It's okay." I still panicked, kicking everything.
"Oh, Alice. You are a very bad girl." The man's brown eyes darkened into deep purple fire pits for eyes, it's white shirt and jeans disintegrating to black shadows, and it's face melting off into a horrible black shadows with maggots in the side of it's face. The shadow was back.
"ALICE? ALICE! WHERE ARE YOU?"
I shouted Alice's name everywhere, and I tried finding Kate and Jake.
Zachary was still sitting on the couch, famished and drained due to his emotions.
I didn't blame him. It is tiring when you let your emotions get the best of you.
When I found Kate, she was drinking Coke while Jake was playing a game on his phone.
They were both seated at a table in a room filled with people drinking and neon lights shining only purple and green.
Kate looked up from her drink and smiled. "Hey, you Zom. Where's your bear?"
I was still frantic and panicked, and I told her everything, careful not to tell her about Zachary.
Not in front of Jake, anyway.
Jake instantly snapped his head up to look at me when I mentioned Alice.
He got up from his seat, and had a frantic face on.
"What? What do you mean by 'she's gone'? She can't be gone! She probably went for a drink! She can't be gone!"
He started wringing his hands, and pulling the sleeves of his sweater down to hide his fingers.
Kate told us not to split up because if the person who kidnapped Alice was still here, he could get one of us.
Kate turned around again and looked at me. "Wait, where's Zachary?"
"He's sitting on the couch. He's just drained from dancing too much."
Kate smiled, despite the situation.
"Zachary dancing...what a moment."
When we looked around, Alice wasn't there at all.
Zachary was sound asleep on the couch, clutching the "U" pillow, and leaning against the left corner of the couch.
I nudged him. "Hey, hey. Zach, can you hear me? We're leaving. And Alice isn't here. Zach, we have to go." He was still groggy, his hair flopped across his face, hiding his eyes. I brushed them aside, and he held my wrist. "Help me up." I pulled him up, and he slid his arm around my waist. I didn't care. All I cared was about finding Alice.
