How it all started

One careless whisper can end it all. I'm only saying such a thing because I speak from experience. I used to have it all, for I was an angel, literally. Though, I was a type of angel that could not ignore mortal life or even immortal life that took place below me. How could I? So much excitement, the humans were so interesting, I couldn't contain myself. But I watched one in particular, one female. She wasn't human, she was a demon, you can already sense how that went. I was kicked out of a so called place named 'Heaven'. No, it's not all great, there's nothing interesting up there. So what's the big fuss about it? My, humans are the pure definition of insanity. But such perfect insanity.
Now, let me give you a little picture of what I look like, what I had going for me when I fell. I'm just your average looking girl from afar I guess you could say. Slender build with the perfect curves that gave me the hourglass figure, I stand at about 5'5, pretty average there too. But there are some catches that I have to watch closely. My hair, well, let's say it's unique. At any given moment, any time my mood will change, the color of my hair will change to match what exactly I am feeling, a pain if you ask me, but helpful. My skin used to be flawless, such smooth, pale skin, so inviting. But now, now it's grey, scarred and cracked, just like pavement on an old city road.

I suppose you want to know why, let me explain, but first, allow me to give you a few detail. I fell for a girl. Well, more like collapsed, full of lust and greed. I wanted her all to myself, even after I was kicked from my sanctuary, I still was attracted to her. You would have thought that the fall would have caused some kind of memory loss... God, I wish it did.

Her name was Lilith Knight, she was beautiful, such a perfect curvy body with a breathtaking smile that would spread so easily across her face. Her silver eyes would glimmer without falter when she laughed, her teeth aligned just right, so pearly. Her hair fell down in graceful white waves down her spine that could catch anyone's attention. She was a demon alright, on the outside she looked like an ordinary mortal that had multiple plastic surgeries just to look like she did, but it was natural, maybe that is why I was attracted to her, but one particular act changed everything.

It was late, 2 A.M. to be exact on that fateful day in December. It was particularly cold that day, if you stepped out for only a moment, you could immediately feel your body react negatively, your muscles stiffening, making it difficult to cope with such harsh weather conditions. It's not like I didn't mind though, my body is used to unbearable temperatures. Why you ask? Well, I still don't know the answer to that. I don't remember a lot from my past, but this memory haunts me, so please, allow me to explain why I am the way I am today. I promise, you might not fully regret this decision.
"Lilith!" My voice echoed throughout the silent mansion just after I walked in from my daily jog, tone almost demanding. I needed to feel her touch, hear her soft words that would make everything somehow better. Though, as soon as I walked in, I knew something was not right at all.

When my lover descended down the spiral stair case, panic erupted within my body, adrenaline already coursing throughout my veins, making my immortal heart pound vigorously. "Kadira..." Lilith whispered, tone filled with a raging desire that could drive anyone insane, except me. Never, have I seen her like this.

"W-What's going on, dragă?" There was a sudden grasp on my shoulders with those words, a touch so chilling to the bone, it made my body tremble with utter fear. I could not shake the feeling away, especially when I looked up into those coal black eyes, so mysterious and haunting.

"I want to try something. You'll enjoy it, I know you will." She hissed into my ear, long nails trailing up the side of my neck, caressing the artery within it, I knew she could sense the fear within me, the curiosity as well, though fear was the stronger emotion of the two.

Without another word said, she threw me over her shoulder, carrying my back up the spiral staircase. Everything was fuzzy then, I only remember whispering a few faint words, though they escape my memory right now, in time it will come again I'm sure.

The next thing I know, I'm thrown so violently against the bed, I swear I felt the room shake ever so faintly, but enough to freak someone out, yes. A pair of wings crafted from flames wrapped around my fragile body, I knew it was no use though, an angel, a fallen angel for that matter was weaker than a demon, though I was older and just a tad wiser, she had the strength, which at the time, was all that mattered.

I could not move an inch, the only time I actually moved is when my beloved forced it upon myself, gripping my wings and pulling them apart with such force, they snapped in her grasp. There was a scream, was it my scream? Perhaps... I looked in her eyes once more before I shut mine tightly, as if it would rid the scene, as if it were just another night terror.

"Stay still." Lilith whispered, her tone surprisingly soothing, her actions however, did not match her voice. In a blurred motion, she pulled out a simple dagger that she always kept in her left boot for emergencies. She took a hold of my wrist, almost breaking that in half as well, feeling my bones crack in utter protest made me cringe. With a swift downwards motion, she sliced the palm of my hand, watching as the silver blood dripped down onto the clean bedsheets, just replaced that morning. Another scream, that time I'm sure it was mine.

"De ce faci asta?! Why do you do this?!" I cried out, my back arching up ever so slightly, the searing pain in my hand not letting up. With a wicked grin, Lilith slashed her own, bringing her bleeding hand over to mine, watching as her dark red blood seeped into my wound. That's when the real pain began, but I only felt it for a moment before everything went black, there was nothing. I felt as if I were dying... Again.

Days prior, I remember listening to my lover, she was talking about coming up with some kind of new and improved species. Of course, I thought nothing of it. I trusted her, I loved her. In a way, this all makes sense, right? A fallen angel combined with a demon, succubus if you want to be exact, surely the mix would be strong. But only I know now, I'm the only one, for now.

Tingling, my body was filled with that sensation as the nerves were revived, then soon an achy pain followed. It could be ignored, I suppose, but the small pain was annoying to me. I then commanded myself to open my eyes, it seemed impossible they felt so heavy. I let out a small grunt just then, bringing myself up to a sitting position, only then would my eyes open to a new and defined world. I was still in the room, my silver blood dried onto the sheets around me.

As I turned my head to the left, I saw myself in the full body mirror. Cracked, grey skin, hideous. "C-Ce? What?" Anxiously, I stood and almost collided with the glass, smearing the image just a little with my sweaty hands. My fists pounded against the mirror, making it shatter with just one blow.

I pivoted and ran out of the room, hands grabbing anything I could to support my unstable self... So clumsy I was.

"Lilith?!" No answer, there was no sound at all, not even a breath. My legs buckled from underneath me, and soon I was on the floor, sobbing. I was suffering physically, mentally, emotionally, in anyway you could possibly think of. My heart was beating, pounding even though it felt like it was ripped to shreds. I was betrayed, used.
The only thing I remember was just laying there, after I had wasted all of my tears. I would just stare, my mind wandering, looking at every situation I've ever been in and looking at it from a different perspective, but with this situation, I simply could not, I still can't, which is why I'm explaining it, maybe someone will finally understand.

Just An Ordinary Day

Two years had passed since that day, the day that haunts my dreams, filling them with every last detail, even adding a little twist to the end. I end up waking with desire. Revenge. Yes, that word is magnificent, it holds many meanings. Every morning I bring my sleep filled body to an up right position, allowing myself to ponder about the situation, though it does not good.

A sudden sound ripped me from my thoughts, the morning dull as the sun slowly began to rise, hidden by the wispy clouds that covered the pink sky. My arm mechanically moved towards the sound, fingers grasping the phone to pull it to my face, eyes squinting as they scanned over the brief text from such a fantastic male.

Rael, a friend. My, how I wish he was more though. Who wouldn't want such a sexy man to be theirs? We had a love-hate relationship, we were basically friends with benefits, there for each other only if we had to be which mostly ended with hardcore sex anyway, just like any other romance novel.

I slowly swung my stiff legs over the side of the king sized bed, arms reaching up to stretch out my flat torso, slowly my hands slid down my chest, brushing over the two D cup mounds, then down my stomach, skin producing the goosebumps that would make my hair stand erect. I swiftly bring myself to a stand, making my way to my wardrobe, I only had just one hour to prepare myself for Rael, anticipation coursing throughout me.

With just a short black dress on and bare feet, I drifted down the spiral staircase just in time for the doorbell to ring, my speed gradually increasing until I found myself sprinting to the old wooden door, flinging it open and wrapping my arms around the muscular form that was before me.

"Ah, Kadira. I'm glad you were available." Rael had whispered into my ear, tone so husky it made my body tremble with need. His arms soon followed, wrapping around my thin waist to pull me closer, hips against hips. I needed him. Now.

My hues lifted up to lock their gaze on his face, taking in the sight of his tousled black hair, the green eyes that could take someone's breath away. I put a hand on his heart that was pounding strongly without hesitation. "I'm always available when it comes to you." I managed to say, making him smile at the Romanian accent that filled my anxious tone.

"May I come in or are we just going to stand here?" His chuckle was music to my ears.

"Oh, right. Come in." I untangled myself from his body and took a few steps back, watching him as he mimicked my movements, shutting the door with his hip.

There was tension between he and I and I loved every last minute. But, I must be polite right? I can't just hop all over him. I part my plush lips to say something but they were suddenly occupied with his, sending electricity through my body along with his. A low, needy moan was muffled into the kiss which belonged to me for once.

"We'll talk after. I need you." He murmured as he trailed his lips down my jawline and neck, letting his tongue caress the nerves that lined my flesh. God, it felt so good just to feel him against my body. Lust had consumed our brains, and if you want to be all sappy, our hearts as well.

One Lust Filled Moment

With a loud thump, we were both on my living room floor, bare bodies tangled together in the heat. I felt his hands trail own my sides and to my hips. We didn't play around much, we just got right to it.

"My Kadira... Such a sexy girl, every flaw so perfect." He whispered breathlessly, his hot breath hitting my neck, sending shivers throughout my body.

"Rael..." I heard myself say, the words falling clumsily into the atmosphere almost inaudible as he pulled my lower half closer to his large, throbbing need. The only thing heard was my jagged breathing as he pushed into my moist entrance, his member instantly being massaged by the plush inner walls. His arms wrapped around my waist as my back arched, both of use letting out a low groan of delight.

His thrusts were firm yet slow as he pounded himself up into that sensitive spot that adored. A soft moan emitting from my lips as he took one pink, dusty nipple into his mouth, his tongue swirling around it as it stood erect. A little suction added until he released, a small 'pop' sound made.

"A-Ah... Rael, yes." I moaned out as he moved to the next nipple, his eyes lifting to look at my flushed face, his thrusts then growing fast, rough to the point where my backside was rubbing against the rough carpet, a burn guaranteed. Each time he plunged into me, he would grunt and pant, beads of sweat coating our flesh as we worked out our need for one another. Within minutes, our pleasured noises increased in volume, filling the room as we grew closer and closer to the one thing we were dying for.

Release...

With a gasp and a shutter, his need throbbed until he released his seed within me, his mouth slightly ajar as he kept thrusting through his orgasm, trying to fill me as well. With a few more rough thrusts and a finger caressing my clit, my back arched, my inner walls throbbed until my own warm juices were released, hips bucking with a loud moan here and there until the pleasure disappeared, leaving us sweaty and drained.

After we had calmed down, I faced him, a grin sewn across my discolored face. He laughed lowly and pulled me close for a moment or two, just laying there in bliss. We were content, I mean, wouldn't you be content? I just slept with the man of my dreams, even though we had done so many times before.

"What's new, Kadira?" He broke the silence which made me look up at him and shrug my shoulders before letting them slum once more.

"Nothing. Fighting my nightmares and looking for that wretched creature." My tone was harsh, whenever I mentioned her, my heart would turn to stone. I loved her. I hated her. I couldn't really make up my mind.

"Kadira, it's been two years, don't you think you should give up?" He pressed his lips against my temple in case I would get offended, Oh, he knew me all too well.

"...No. I want my revenge and I will not be satisfied until I get it, don't you understand?"

"What if I satisfy everyday?" He was the one grinning now, I couldn't help but force myself to smile.

"Perhaps. Hit me up with that offer later and we'll see." I winked at him then lifted my sore body up to search for our clothes that had been misplaced in the frantic need to have each other.

"But really, you need to give up. I don't want you to stress." He said after I had thrown his clothes at him with a little too much fore since he staggered back.

I shrugged the dress back on then retreated to the kitchen to prepare us both a glass of wine, grabbing the bottle and the tow delicate glasses. I filled mine to the brim and his halfway, I could handle alcohol, he could now. He was an idiot while drunk, just take my word for it.

He soon came to my side and picked the glass up to take a sip. As soon as my glass reached my lips, I chugged the drink, letting it slide down my throat then set the glass down with a sigh.

"You know, I don't know how I feel about her." I whispered in a short tone, turning away to look at the mirror to the left of me, my hair a complete mess.

"I understand how you feel. You know how many girls I've been through." He smoothed my hair out then his own, sadness filling his green optics which only made me slightly upset.

"Don't remind me. I hated-" I was cut off by his beeper that was attached to his pants. With a huff, he pulled the annoying device off his pant loop and shook his head.

"Work needs me. I'll call you later. Sorry to cut this visit short." With just a peck on my forehead and a hug he was gone and I was alone.

Betrayed

Hours had passed since the steamy visit with Rael, there was not one call, not one text since then. Suspicion had raced throughout my body just then, and before I knew it, my car keys were in my hand and I was walking out the door. With a few long strides, I approached the black, glassy looking vehicle that glistened under the low moon light. I slammed my key into the ignition and sped off toward the apartment complexes that were just down the street and around the corner.

It only took five minutes, I could have jogged, but my mind was too foggy, coated with lust and love that I had for Rael. I pulled myself out of y car, not even bothering to cut the engine. I ran, up the three staircases and to apartment number 6. I twisted the rusty, silver knob and pressed my body against the wood, opening it only to pick up the sounds of breathless moans coming from his bedroom.

"Please, let that be porn..." I whispered, walking up to his open door, my eyes falling on two forms on the bed, one on top of the other, moving their hips in a perfect rhythm.

He must have heard my gasp, because he turned, and when he did, he was another person deep inside, a person I did not know, I only knew him from the outside. "Kadira, what are you do-"

His words were drowned out by the crackling thunder. With a swift turn, I was out of the room, tears blurring my vision. I staggered out into the stormy night, tripping down the cement stairs until I was out in the pouring rain.

"Kadira!" His soft voice filled my ears, but tugged at my heart roughly. A firm hand then fell on my shoulder and forced me to turn.

"I... I loved you... I know I never said it, and now that I did, I regret falling for a disgusting pig like you!" My words whipped him across the face, they were powerful and I knew just then that I hit him. Hard.

"You don't know-" He was cut off by the thunder once more, and by the time he went to repeat himself, I was gone and in my car, speeding away, racing home to drown in my sorrows once more.

Forgiven Encounters

The sound of drizzling rain spraying over the mansion had woken me up, reviving the painful memories that I had witnessed just days before. Rael... His name echoed throughout my mind, and no matter how upset I was, his name sent sparks through my immortal being, making my heart thump restlessly against my heaving chest. I was thrown out of my thoughts by the annoying ping! noise that chimed against the thick glass on my window. My legs, that felt so heavy, fell to the side of the bed and then I slowly stood, my knees cracking in protest. I did not hesitate to open the window and gaze down upon the form that stood on the soaked grass just below.

“Hear my soul speak. Of the very instant that I saw you, Did my heart fly at your service." The familiar voice reached my ears, my heart twisted then fluttered but my face remained expressionless.

"What could you possibly want, Rael? You have some balls to show up only days after the incident." My tone was clipped, sharp. My eyes fumed when he grinned and went for the front door.

Only moments later would he reach the entrance to my clustered bedroom. His muscular form was propped against the black pained frame, the old wood groaning under his weight.

"Kadira, I need to talk to you. Hear me out, will you?" His emerald eyes were desperate, and if I remember correctly, they held some sort of pain, or regret.

"You have minutes to explain. Go." I crossed my arms over my chest and shifted most of my weight onto my right leg, eyes locked on his.

"I did not mean for any of that to happen, you know, that one night. That woman that was with me, she's nothing compared to you. I don't know what I was thinking, I had no idea you... L-Lo-"

"Loved." I chimed in sarcastically, a low chuckle bursting passed my once closed lips.

"Yeah, that. Listen, I don't expect you to forgive me, but I just wanted to apologize. I hurt you, and that has made these days unbearable for me. I miss the way you smile when you look at me, those beautiful, unique eyes that make me crazy for you. Give me a second chance, this time as a boyfriend." He daringly strode toward me and took both of my hands in his. My heart skipped a few beats, but my expression didn't change, not for several seconds, but soon, it softened.

"One chance. Don't blow it." I murmured softly, standing up on my toes to run my fingers through his slick, coal colored hair. His eyes closed, his body relaxed into mine, we fit together, perfectly.

"Kadira, I love you." He whispered before his lips collided mine. Those few moments, when our lips danced with each other in sync sent me into a blissful, almost high state until he parted.

"As I love you." Our foreheads pressed together, our fingers now entwined. Slowly, I pulled him toward the bed, pushing him down gently, I straddled his lap and looked into his eyes. His finger tips teased the flesh on lower arm as his lips locked around mine.

He was mine, perhaps it was the wrong choice, maybe I shouldn't have let him in that quick, but desires get the best me. My fingers trailed down his chest and down to the bottom of his shirt. My lips left his so I could pull up his shirt.

"Kadira..." He was breathless already, and soon his lust was released. He took me by my wrists and pinned me down on the bed, looking down at me with that adorable cocky smirk. I chuckled, then placed my lips at the base of his neck, sucking and nipping until I knew a mark was left behind. He only groaned and began to grind our lower parts together, his hands tearing off the thin fabric that covered my torso. We took turns, tearing off articles of clothing until our bare bodies were against eachother.

"Rael... Take me... Now..." I said in between whimpers and pants. He didn't need any other kind of encouragement. With one thrust of the hips, he pushed into me, the room was filled with the hot and steamy sounds of pleasure.

Our bodies slammed and rocked against one another in the desperate fight for dominance and release. His hands and fingers entangled in my long hair, tugging on it with enough force to make me yelp, my hips thrashing against his roughly. His thrusts grew possessive, up until the very end, entering our climaxes at the same exact moment. With a few pleasure sounds, we released then went limp.

"You're perfect..." Rael mumbled lazily, his hot breath hitting the base of my neck that sent shivers up and down my spine.

“I love you more than words can wield the matter, dearer than eyesight, space and liberty..." I recited, a line I remember from a Shakespeare play which only made him smile before sleep took over his form. There, I would stay.

Nuzzled into Danger

Within hours, I felt Rael's warm finger tips caress her cracks the looked similar to spiderwebs. I shuddered, my form had tensed up at the unusual contact; my stiff movements did not go un-noticed.

"Sorry, love. I didn't know that it bothered you." His voice was husky, thick with slumber which made it all the more sexy.

"Don't worry about-" I was cut off by his beeper that laid in his pants that were on the cold, drafty floor. "I believe work calls..." I muttered under my breath.

"I'm sorry again. I need to go. I'll be back later, promise." His lips found mine, one tender kiss and he was up and pulling his clothes back on.

"Your shirt is on backwards, idiot." I managed to laugh out lightly, watching him flail around, trying to fix the wrinkled shirt.

"Yeah, yeah. Make fun of me later. I love you, beautiful!" He winked at him with such a wicked grin, it made me shiver. Too soon though, he ran down the stairs and soon, out of the mansion.

Hours had passed ever since Rael had left for work, and my heart skipped a beat as the floor boards creaked and groaned downstairs. Expecting Rael to be home, I sprinted down the spiral stair case only to be stopped by a hooded form.

"Wh-" The wind was knocked out of me, I found my self up against the wall, my head pressed against the wall, my arms and legs dangling freely. The figure slowly turned, it's glossy crimson hues were set on my, an ear to ear grin plastered on it's pale face.

"Lilith told me that you were gullible and easy, but I at least expected a little more of a fight." It was a male who spoke, his voice deep and raspy that made me shudder with discomfort.

"What does Lilith want?" My tone was like a whip, so cold and deep that even the male flinched but soon replaced his uncertainty with a chuckle.

"Why, she wants you, she wants you alive and standing before her. She also wants your man dead, she doesn't like it when mortals stand in the way of something she wants, my beauty." He took a few steps until he was pressed up against me, his finger curled underneath my chin.

I gathered up all the saliva I had and spit right in his eyes. His guard was done and I was released as he fell to his knees on the floor. It was my turn to chuckle as my leg swung around to send a devastating blow to his head. He flew across the room and landed with a groan, his body jumbled up against the wall.

"I thought you were going to put up more of a fight." I sneered, walking over to him.

"You're going to regret this. Mark my word, Kadira." He managed to grin deviously before he disappeared within a black cloud of smoke.

"Come and get me." I whispered, but now that I look back on it... That was a careless thing to whisper.

Secrets

An hour passed since the confusing and utterly terrifying encounter, I could not bring myself to move. Curled up in a ball in the corner of the living room, the light from outside dimmed as day turned to night. I was so dazed, the opening of the front door did not faze me.

"Kadira, what are you doing?" Rael's voice was filled with worry, his keys had dropped to the linoleum as he rushed over to my side.

"Just laying here..." I mumbled, forcing my gaze to lock on him. It was difficult to look up at him, I knew he was in danger, it pained me, more than anything.

"Did something happen? Don't lie to me." He gently laid my head on his lap, his long fingers combing through my hair as he looked down upon me with such adoring, emerald eyes.

"Nothing. I'm just tired." I smiled up at him which made him relax.

He gave me a cocky smile and picked me up bridal style, making his way up the stairs."I missed you, Kadira."

"I missed you too, Rael." And thank god you were not here an hour ago.

He walked into the master bedroom and laid me down on the bed, his body hovering over mine for just a moment as he placed a tender kiss on my lips. I sighed in content and allowed my lips to melt against his for a minute or two before he slid off me and onto the bed.

"Get some rest. I have a surprise for you in the morning." He whispered in my ear, his arms snaking around my waist to pull me against him.

"You better get some rest too, mister." I mumbled drowsily, my eyelids slowly drooping until my eyes were closed.

"You got it, beautiful..." Those were the words that lulled me to sleep, a deep sleep.

Awaking to soft snoring in my ear and arms still wrapped around my waist was probably one of the best feeling ever. All of my troubles just seemed to melt away. I slowly turned in his arms and nuzzled his neck, my eyes closing once more. Fingertips then teased my back, making me giggle lightly under my breath.

"Good morning, gorgeous." Rael whispered lowly, his voice thick with slumber.

"Good morning, baby..." I murmured, my lips now eagerly finding his. He groaned at the contact, his grip tightening around me.

"You're driving me crazy and I don't know how you do it." He whispered against my plush. I could tell it took all of his strength to pull away, his eyes glossed over with lust and desire.

"We will continue this later. You said you had a surprise for me today." I crawled up on top of him and pinned his arms down against the mattress.

"Yeah, yeah. Get ready." He grunted and grabbed my breasts for a minute, his eyes lit up a bit.

"Later." I repeated then slid off him and ran to the bathroom to shower and change.
