Chapter 1

"Hey get out of here kid, I told you twice not to come around here," yelled Frankie as he was grabbing the boy by the collar of his shirt.

"Whoa now hang on Frankie, what's your name kid?" asked Billy.

"He asked what your name is boy, now answer him!" yelled Lone Wolf.

"Easy Lone Wolf, I am going to ask you again, what's your name?" asked Billy.

"Red Bear."

"Red Bear sit down and Frankie here will cook you up something to eat," Billy sitting back down at the table.

"What, this boy has been stealing from me for as long as I can remember and now you want me to give him food," Frankie said angrily.

"Just give him some food before I put a bullet in your gut?" asked Billy

"Fine here have my plate," said Frankie shoving his plate towards Red Bear.

"Pilamaya" (thank you)," Red Bear said in the Lakota language.

"He said thank you," Billy said in a sarcastic voice.

"Oh I am sorry I forgot, YOUR WELCOME," shouted Frankie and slamming the door from behind.

"Sorry about that Red Bear, Frankie can be a little bit on the angry side, but you'll get used to it," said Billy.

"Oh that's alright, we all get a little angry sometimes," said Red Bear eating Frankie's food.

"So Red Bear what tribes are you from, what are you doing here in Montana?" asked Billy.

"Well I left the city about a year ago now, my people are from the Lakota Sioux tribe, I am originally from South Dakota, my mother died when I was very young, and my father couldn't handle the whites anymore. So he took me and we became like the whites and live like they did. When my father and I were civilized he got a job and we moved to Boston and he got a house out there. I went to school as well. Sometimes I ask him if he thinks of the old ways of when I was little. And if he wanted to go back, he didn't answer me. So one day when I graduated from school in Boston I traveled here to Montana," said Red Bear.

"Wow, we'll you came to the right place, but I've never heard of an Indian raised in the city," asked Billy?

"I know my father says when he meets what he calls wild Indians, he says "Times have changed, nobody lives in the forest, on the plains, or in the mountains, it's time to become like the whites" he always tells them that," said Red Bear.

"We'll your "ate"(father) is right, nobody lives that way anymore, times have changed but people haven't, would you like to join us," asked Billy in the Lakota language.

"Hin" (yes) I would, but there is one problem?” asked Red Bear.

"What," asked Billy?

"I don't have a horse or a weapon," said Red Bear.

"Oh right I'll fix you up with a horse, and somebody give him a gun," Billy going outside to the barn.

"Here you can have on of mine, it's loaded so watch out where you point that thing," said Lone Wolf.

"Pilamaya" (thank you)," said Red Bear.

"Alright, now he has a horse to ride," said Billy.

"Let's ride into town and celebrate our new arrival," Bob said with excitement.
So they got on their horses and rode into town.

Chapter 2

As they arrived in town they tied up their horses on a post outside of the saloon and went inside and walked up to the bar.

"Can I have four drinks Steve," asked Billy?

"Three drinks coming up Billy," said Steve.

"I said four not three," said Billy.

"We don't serve those Injuns here Billy," Steve pointing at Lone Wolf and Red Bear.

"I want drinks for my friends," asked Billy in an angry voice?

"Like I said Billy, we don't serve those Injuns here," Steve getting mad.

"Am I going to have to repeat myself like I did in Texas, because the bar tender didn't give my friend here a drink either," Billy had a smirk on his face.

"No, we don't serve these Injuns in my saloon," yelled Steve.

"If you don't give me two more drinks I am going to put a bullet between your eyes and get them myself," Billy cocking his pistol in his holster.

"Now Billy I would be careful, because I am too loaded," said Steve.
Lone Wolf grabbed Steve by the collar and said,

"Di ena mayaanii shils aash" (you enemy white man) my friend and I want our drinks, we don't want any trouble but you’re making it a big problem," asked Lone Wolf in the Chiricahua Apache language.

"Alright that's it all of you get out of my saloon or I will have you killed or arrested," shouted Steve.

"Come on guys we can get the drinks at Frankie's house," Henry said going outside and getting on his horse.

"Hi disho, egoyahan" (it is finished, until we meet again)," Lone Wolf said in the Chiricahua Apache language.

"Hin hohe toksha ake wacin yuanktin ktelo" (yes enemy I should see you again)," Red Bear.

So they all started to turn around and walk towards the door, when Steve pulled out his pistol he fired at Lone Wolf, hitting Lone Wolf in the back of the shoulder, and Red Bear ducked and it made Steve miss. Billy quickly pulled his weapon and shot Steve in the shoulder as well.

"Billy this is not Texas," yelled Henry running back inside.

"I know this isn’t Texas, if someone shoots at me or my friends I am going to shoot back," Billy said angrily.

Lone Wolf tells Billy to relax.

“I am fine he just got me in the shoulder," Lone Wolf said in no pain.

"I'll go get the sheriff he'll understand, when I come back you to have better still be here," said Henry walking outside towards the hotel that was very busy and loud inside.

"Sheriff Jason, come quick," shouted Henry over the crowd.

"What is it," shouted Jason?

"Steve" said Henry.

"What," shouted Sheriff Jason?

Sheriff Jason worked his way to Henry and stepped outside where they can hear each other.

"Steve shot Lone Wolf because he was mad, because he wouldn't give us two more drinks, and Billy shot Steve," said Henry.

So they both walked into the Saloon.

"We'll Steve lets here your side," asked Sheriff Jason?

"That Injun their threatened me and Billy shot me, are you going to arrest them," asked Steve in pain and angry?

"No I'm here to arrest you for shooting an unarmed man," Sheriff Jason pulling Lone Wolfs pistol out and showing it to Steve. There were still bullets in it.

Chapter 3

"I told them to leave but they wouldn't, Miles look after things around here," asked Steve.

"I will," said Miles.

"Alright come on Steve you’re going to jail," said Sheriff Jason.
Steve got out from behind the bar and went with Sheriff Jason and walked outside to the jail house. So they all walked out of the saloon and got on their horses and rode back to Frankie's house. When they arrived they got off their horses and walked up to the porch and opened the door.

"Frankie where are you," asked Bob?

"I am over here what happened," asked Frankie getting up from reading a book?

"Lone Wolf got shot in the shoulder by Steve," said Billy.

"So what did you do this time," asked Frankie?

"Ha very funny," said Lone Wolf.

"No really what happened," asked Frankie?

"Nothing all I wanted was a drink and I turned around and Steve shot me from behind," said Lone Wolf.

"Did it hurt," asked Frankie?

"Frankie you’re talking to an Indian that doesn't show pain," said Henry.

"Oh I forgot, any ways hold still I almost got it out, there I got it," said Frankie pulling the bullet out.

"Hey you got it, wow your pretty good," said Bob.

"Yeah you might become a doctor," said Billy.

"I wouldn't think so, I mean you have to go to school for that and I don't think Frankie would like that," said Red Bear.

"No I wouldn't survive in the city, and besides I already know a lot of things," said Frankie.

"Like what," asked Red Bear?

"We'll I know how to cook, shoot things, and take bullets out of people," said Frankie.

So they all went upstairs and went to bed. Next morning Lone Wolf opened his eyes and looked up at the ceiling and he got out of bed and walked outside. He herd something in the barn so he walked towards it and saw Billy and Henry saddling their horses.

"Where are you going," asked Lone Wolf?

"Into town to get supplies," said Henry.

"Can I come," asked Lone Wolf?

"No, I know you to we'll, you stay here with the guys, your wound still needs time to heal, try to get your bow and pull back on it, on the string so your shoulder won't get stove up and then you wouldn't be able to use that arm anymore," said Henry.

"Alright," said Lone Wolf.

So they got on their horses and rode to town to get supplies. They tied their horses to a post and when they tied the horses up they went into the store. Sheriff Jason saw Billy and Henry's horses outside of the store, so he walked out of the jail house and across the street and walked up to the store and walked inn.

Chapter 4

"Henry how is Lone Wolf doing," asked Sheriff Jason?

"He's doing well," said Henry.

"That's good, well Steve is still in jail until he says he is going to serve every Indian that comes through this town," said Sheriff Jason.

"Thanks Jason thanks a lot," said Henry with a smile.

"Your welcome," said Sheriff Jason walking back to the jail house.

So Henry and Billy got all they needed from the store and rode back to Frankie's house. When they arrived they saw Lone Wolf out in the yard pulling back on his bow, he was no showing any pain no even breaking a sweat. Henry and Billy walked inside and put the supplies on the table.

"So Henry, Billy how was town," asked Frankie?

"Busy, we talked to Sheriff Jason he said Steve is going to be in jail for a while," said Henry.

"Good, maybe he will learn a thing or two about people," said Frankie.

"I hope so," said Billy.
Lone Wolf started to walk in towards the door and was inside.

"We'll Frankie what's for dinner," asked Billy?

"Whatever you guys want to eat," said Frankie.

"How about some meat, biscuits, and gravy, and some beans as well," said Bob.

"Alright coming right up," said Frankie.
So he cooked it and served it, they ate all of it, it was very good. It even sounded good.

"That's some good eaten, I'm going into to town now to see my cousin for a while," said Lone Wolf.

"Alright go ahead but be back before the sun goes down, and stay away from the jail house, don't even think about going in there," asked Henry?

"What, me, you don't trust me, anyways I am going to see my cousin," said Lone Wolf.

"I mean it Lone Wolf," said Henry.

Lone Wolf went outside to the barn and rode his horse into town. When he arrived he saw his cousin with her friends.

"Little Woman," said Lone Wolf.

"Hey cousin it's good to see you again," said Little Woman.

"How are you," asked Lone Wolf?

"Inju" (good) and you," asked Little Woman?

"Inju" (good)," said Lone Wolf.

"Oh I am sorry girls, this is my cousin Lone Wolf, Lone Wolf these are my friends," Little Woman introducing her friends and cousin.

"Hi ladies," said Lone Wolf.

"Hello, wow Little Woman, you didn't tell me your cousin was so cute," asked Little Woman's friend?

"He's my cousin," said Little Woman.

"So how's things here in town," asked Lone Wolf looking at the jail house and back at Little Woman?

"Inju" (good) everything is going well I've just bought this new dress yesterday," said Little Woman.

"It looks very nice on you cousin," said Lone Wolf.

"Iheedn" (thank you)," said Little Woman.

"Your welcome, well come on cousin I'll take you for a ride," asked Lone Wolf?

"Cousin you know it's been too long, the last time I rode with you we were kids," said Little Woman.

"Come on, it'll be like old times yeah," Lone Wolf jumping on the horse and holding his arm out for Little Woman to grab.

"Ladies if you will excuse me," said Little Woman grabbing Lone Wolfs arm and pulling herself up onto his horse.

So they rode out of town. The sun started to turn reddish color with a little bit of orange and yellow tint. It was very beautiful. Little Woman and Lone Wolf were just sitting on the horse looking at the sunset.
"To think we had it all, we had the land, the mountains, and our way of life. Now we don't have any of it, it was stolen from us, it is gone along with our ancestors," said Lone Wolf.

"I try not to think about it, I try to forgive them for what they have done, turn the other cheek as their God says in their King James Bible," said," Little Woman.

"It's hard cousin, to forgive the white eyes for what they have done and what they are still doing, my hatred towards the white eyes still run deep into my veins, in my blood. It seems my past keeps following me, sometimes Henry teaches me to move forward and not backwards, but its hard," said Lone Wolf.

"I know it is, Henry, I thought you killed him and his men," said Little Woman.

"I did kill his men, but I left Henry alive, till this day I still haven't figured out why I let him live," Lone Wolf riding back into town.

"I hope you figure it out, thank you for the ride, it brought back a lot of memories," said Little Woman.

"Your welcome," said Lone Wolf.

"Come and stop by sometime, don't be a stranger," asked Little Woman?

"I won't, good bye," said Lone Wolf.

"Good bye," said Little Woman going inside the hotel.

Chapter 5

So Lone Wolf turned his horse around and rode back to Frankie's house.

"See I'm back," said Lone Wolf.

"Good, tomorrow we have a big day ahead of us, we have lots to do around here," said Henry.

"Yes so get some sleep," said Frankie.

So they all went upstairs and went to bed. Lone Wolf closed his eyes and was dreaming about what happened in the past with his people and Henry's men. The next morning came, Billy, Lone Wolf, Red Bear and Bob went outside and each of them had a chore to do. Billy cleaned the carrel, Lone Wolf cleaned the barn, Red Bear plowed the fields, and Bob fixed the fences around the house. When all the chores were finished Henry went to go get the wagon to get ready to go into town for supplies.

So they jumped in and went towards town. When they arrived they went inside the store and Henry gave Billy a list of things they needed, Lone Wolf, Bob and Red Bear would load it into the wagon. As Bob, Red Bear and Lone Wolf were waiting on stuff to be handed to them shots were fired. Everybody was ducking and running as shots were still being fired. Lone Wolf, Bob, and Red Bear quickly got behind buildings and started shooting at the men. Finally the guns stopped firing; all the townsfolk came out from hiding in stores and underneath steps and sidewalks. Lone Wolf’s cousin came running out from hiding crying and walked over towards a family of Native American Indians lying dead in the street.
Red Bear, Lone Wolf, and Bob were just standing there looking at Little Woman holding a little Indian girl in her arms.

"Guys you alright," asked Billy?

"Yeah we're fine, I can't say about those men," said Lone Wolf angry.

"Well let’s go get them," Billy said getting into the wagon.
Lone Wolf quickly went to go get his Winchester out of the back of the wagon.

“Stop, it is not your place, let the sheriff handle it, this is his town," said Henry.

So Henry turned around and looked at the family of Indians so did the townsfolk, then Henry heard a baby cry from the Indian family's wagon. So he walked up to the wagon and saw a baby inside. His heart was broken to see that baby in there without family now. So he picked it up and held it tight so it felt safe, then the baby stopped crying. He looked around and saw a young beautiful woman, well dressed and proper, blonde curly hair with a sun hat on and her very best clothes. So he walked up towards her and said,

"Ma'am would you like to take him as your own, and raise him," asked Henry?

"Yes, I would take him as my own," said the woman stretching her arms out.

"Thank you ma'am, thank you so much," said Henry.

So he walked away and walked towards Little Woman and bent down beside her.

"Let her go and come inside and get some rest, Lone Wolf take your cousin inside and make sure she gets some rest," asked Henry?
Lone Wolf grabbed Little Woman by the arm and walked her inside.

"Ihdeen" (thank you)," said Little Woman.

"Your welcome," said Lone Wolf.

As Lone Wolf came in he walked towards the window and looked out.

"Do you think they will come back," asked Little Woman changing into her gown behind a dressing screen.

"Maybe, if they do I will be ready for them," said Lone Wolf looking out the window.

"Why did they kill that family, what did they do wrong," asked Little Woman?

"They were being who they are, that's what got them killed," said Lone Wolf.

"When will it stop, when will they realize we're just like them," asked Little Woman?

"It will never stop cousin until we are all wiped out. They hate how we lived and how we use to do things, we did things just like they did, they hate what is different, it will never stop until I stop it, if I have to kill a few white eyes to make it stop I will," Lone Wolf holding his Winchester and looking out the window.

"So they will keep on coming and killing whatever is Indian," asked Little Woman?

"Yes," Lone Wolf closing the curtain.

Chatper 6

Henry, Bob, Billy and Red Bear picked up the family and buried them in the cemetery and went back to Frankie's house. Back at the hotel Little Woman was sitting up in her bed.

"Go to sleep, get some rest I will be with you when the sun rises," said Lone Wolf looking out the window.

"What if they come up here while we are sleeping," asked Little Woman?

"That won't happen I promise now lie down and get some rest," said Lone Wolf.

So she went to sleep. Lone Wolf went to sleep in the chair by the window. Next morning came Lone Wolf woke up and looked out the window, then Little Woman started to wake up.

"You’re going to kill them aren't you cousin," asked Little Woman?

"Yes," said Lone Wolf.

"You know what the townsfolk and the sheriff will do to you, they will probably hang you, or send you back to Fort Apache and let the soldiers kill you," said Little Woman.

"I have to cousin, it's in my blood I don't care if they hang me I am not afraid if the blue coats," said Lone Wolf.

"I just don't want you to get killed, your one of the last warriors in our tribe that is still standing today," said Little Woman.

"I know cousin, I will be fine I promise, I won't let any white eyes kill me, until there comes a time where I can't fight any more," said Lone Wolf.
Lone Wolf kissed his cousin on the forehead and walked out and downstairs to the lobby and went outside. As Lone Wolf was sitting on a bench outside from the hotel, he saw three men riding up real fast on their horses. Lone Wolf got up and walked out into the street and stood there.

"Hey Charles look, it's Lone Wolf, your still standing red man," asked Earl?

"We'll hello Lone Wolf, “said Charles.

"You killed that family yesterday," asked Lone Wolf in a hostile voice?

Little Woman looked out her window.

"Yes we did, that was a good day," said Charles.

"We'll Charles did you know you were going to die today," asked Lone Wolf holding his Winchester?

"You want to kill us boy, do you want to slaughter us like you did our men and Henry," asked Earl?

"Yeah, and one more thing, Henry is not dead, he is still alive and well," said Lone Wolf.

"What impossible they all told us he was dead along with his men," said Charles in a shocked voice.

"We'll they were wrong, all three of you are dead," said Lone Wolf.

All three men got off their horses and faced Lone Wolf.

"Now how are you going to do that when there is only one you and three of us," asked Earl?

"Like this," Lone Wolf putting his Winchester into Earl’s gut and fired, Earl flew like bird backwards.

Charles and his friend scattered like cattle and started firing shots at Lone Wolf. Lone Wolf dropped his Winchester and hid behind the buildings, as he was waiting for them to stop shooting because they were not hitting anything, and they say they were in the army. Anyways Lone Wolf decided to get on the roof of a building and wait for Charles to come by and Lone Wolf will jump off and land on Charles. So Lone Wolf jumped off the building and landed on Charles killing him by cutting his throat. Now one more man was still standing, he stopped firing and started looking for Lone Wolf. Lone Wolf came out from behind a dun pony, an old horse, and he pulled his pistol and pulled the trigger shooting the man in the back. All the townsfolk came running out finding three men killed and Lone Wolf standing there.

"Lone Wolf," said Doc frantic.

"It's been done Doc," said Lone Wolf.

"You know what’s going to happen now, they'll take you to Fort Apache and the let the blue coats handle you," said Doc.

"I Know Doc, I’m not afraid of them," said Lone Wolf.

"Alright Lone Wolf, you did your thing now it’s my turn, let’s go," said Sheriff Jason taking Lone Wolf's pistols.

"Sheriff lets hang him instead of taking him to the jail house," asked Trevor?

"Wait a minute Trevor I’m the Sheriff around here, as much as I hate to do this, I’m taking him to Fort Apache.

Trevor just shook his head and went his way.

"I’m sure the blue coats will be pleased to see me after all these year, and that I’m still alive and kicking," said Lone Wolf with a smile on his face.
Henry was almost into town when the Sheriff and Lone Wolf rode out of town.

"Henry the Sheriff is taking Lone Wolf to Fort Apache, you have to stop him, they will hurt or kill him,” said Little Woman.

"They will not kill him, I promise, I will bring him back," said Henry.

"Thank you," said Little Woman.

"Red Bear you're coming with me, you’re a good shot, you might come in handy in case we run into any trouble trying to get him back here," said Henry.

"Alright let’s go," said Red Bear.

"Billy, Bob you meet us back at Frankie's place, when I get back we are all going to have a talk, tell him what’s going on as well," asked Henry?

Chapter 7

So Billy and Bob rode to Frankie's house. Henry and Red Bear were headed to Fort Apache. As they arrived into the back parts of Montana it started to get late and they decided to stop and rest, Henry made some coffee.

"Henry where did you find Lone Wolf, how did he come to be in a town, with you guys," asked Red Bear?

"We'll it all started when the white eyes and the Indians were at war with each other. We killed a lot of Indians that day. I saw Lone Wolf in the camp. He was a good warrior among the Apache tribe. He wasn't too fond of the white eyes coming on their land and building their homes. He was tall and slim to. I was a blue coat then, my job was to move the Chiricahua's to reservations where they will become farmers my scouts and I went to his camp and talked, that's when Lone Wolf came after us. The Chief turned around quickly and stopped him, he was mad he started to yell at the Chief in Apache and he rode away with his band of warriors," said Henry.

"I bet it was hard for them to leave their lands and to lose their way of life," said Red Bear.

"Yes it was very hard, we also lost some on the way to the reservations, we tried to track down Lone Wolf and his band of warriors but we couldn't find them until that day," said Henry.

"What did he do," asked Red Bear?

"He started raiding settler’s homes burning them to the ground and killing them, telling them to get off Apache land, the one day they spotted us and started shooting at us. Lone Wolf shot me in the stomach and shoulder; his men slaughtered my troops and burned my Apache scouts while they were barely alive. Sometimes I can still hear those white eye screams. Lone Wolf told his men to leave me, and they did. Then a few years later I rode to the mountains, I looked down and saw a man on the ground, so I went down the mountain as fast as I could and when I got to the bottom it was Lone Wolf, he was covered in either his blood or the white eyes blood, all his men were killed trying to free their people, he was the only one that lived. Till this day I still don't understand why he left me alive, he doesn't either," said Henry,

"A Great Spirit the creator told him to leave alive," said Red Bear.

"Maybe," said Henry.

"Someday you both will know," said Red Bear.

"We'll we better get some rest, we are starting early in the morning," said Henry.

As Henry and Red Bear were sleeping, Henry dreamt about the past, He dreamt about their screams and Lone Wolf, it startled him and made him jump. Henry sat up in and looked up at the stars. He saw the Big Dipper and seven little stats by it, he thought about quill work girl and her seven brothers, you know the story told by the Cheyenne people long ago. Then he went back to sleep.

Chapter 8

When morning came Henry and Red Bear woke up and packed their horses and rode away.

"Where are we going to try to get to today," asked Red Bear?

"Well we have to go through Idaho, Utah and then Arizona, that's where will find Lone Wolf," said Henry.

Meanwhile back at Fort Apache Lone Wolf was reunited with his people. They all came running up to him patting him on the back and smiling. Lone Wolf looked at the blue coats, blue coats kept their eyes on him the whole time he was there.

"Ha annsi shils aash" (how are you my friend)," asked Rough Rider?

"Inju" (good)," said Lone Wolf.

"Come sit down, let's talk," said Rough Rider.

"Alright," said Lone Wolf.

"So where have you been, what's become of the last warrior," asked Rough Rider?

"I'm living in Montana with Henry and his friends," said Lone Wolf.

"Henry, the soldier Henry, I thought you killed him," asked Rough Rider?

"He took me in when I was injured," said Lone Wolf.

"I never thought you would let him live," said Rough Rider.

"Well he found me with bullet holes in me, I still ask that, why didn’t I kill him, why did I leave him alive," said Lone Wolf.

"A Spirit told you, if you did kill him you wouldn't be here either, you would be out there in the soil with the rest of our warriors," said Rough Rider.

"True," said Lone Wolf.

"Henry," said Rough Rider.

"Did you come with the Chief," asked Lone Wolf?

"Yes, we all came except Running Fox he stayed hidden in the mountains for the longest time. He came down one time telling us about you and the warriors. One day we tried to leave but he got caught and they tried to get him to tell them where you were hiding and going with your warriors," said Rough Rider.

"What did he say," asked Lone Wolf?

"He said, "you will never find them" so they threw him in the stockades and that's where he has been for a long time," said Rough Rider.

"Well I’m here now," said Lone Wolf.

"Who brought you," asked Rough Rider?

"Sheriff Jason from Montana, he's in that office over there," said Lone Wolf pointing.

"That's the lieutenant's office," said Rough Rider.

"Hello I’m Sheriff Jason of Montana, I brought you an Indian boy named Lone Wolf," said Sheriff Jason looking around at the men standing there.

"Ah, bring him here," asked the lieutenant?
Sheriff Jason cocked his pistol just in case something went wrong, he had a bad feeling in his gut, and for he knew what the blue coats are capable of doing for he also was a blue coat in time.

"Hey Lone Wolf, come here boy, I've been waiting for this day for a long time," said Chris.

"I’m sure you have," said Lone wolf with a grin.

"Come on lets go savage," said Chris pushing him.

So they walked towards the office and walked inside. The lieutenant walked towards Lone Wolf and said,

"I have been waiting for this day for a long time," said the lieutenant.

"I’m sure you have lieutenant," said Lone Wolf.

"Thank you Sheriff Jason for bringing him in to us, as you can see we all have been waiting for this moment for a long time," said the lieutenant.
Sheriff Jason starred into the lieutenants eyes and then looked at the soldiers standing in there and then back at Lone Wolf and walked out and rode away real fast not looking back.

"Throw him in the stockades with Running Fox," said the lieutenant going back to reading his paper.

So the men quickly grabbed Lone Wolf and took him to the stockades and threw him inside with Running Fox. Henry and Red Bear were traveling great distances, when they finally came across a town in Idaho, they were dirty from head to toe, and when they arrived to the saloon they tied their horses up to a post outside of the saloon and walked inside.

"Hello sir, I need two whiskies please," asked Henry?

"Oh, I'm older than I look," said Red Bear.

"Alright two whiskies’ coming right up," said the bar tender.

"Thank you," said Henry.

As they were drinking and talking Sheriff Jason came walking inside.

"Hey bar tender whisky," asked Sheriff Jason?

"Rough day," asked the bar tender?

"Yes," said Sheriff Jason.

"Jason," said Henry.

"Henry, I shouldn't have left him, I know what those blue coats are capable of doing, and what they were thinking when I left," said Sheriff Jason.

"It's alright, I know, we were both blue coats, we will get him out somehow," said Henry.

"What if they won’t let him go," asked Sheriff Jason?

"Well were going to have to do what Lone Wolf would do, kill," said Henry.

"Let's go then," said Sheriff Jason getting up from sitting at the bar.

Chapter 9

Meanwhile back at the Fort Lone Wolf was in the stockades looking out the barbed window.

"Well they finally caught you after all these years they caught you," said Running Fox.

"Running Fox," said Lone Wolf.

"Ha annsi" (how are you)," asked Running Fox?

"Inju" (good)," said Lone Wolf.

"You’re finally here with your people," said Running Fox.

"Not for long, my friends will come and take me away from here," said Lone Wolf looking out the window.

"You do not wish to stay with your people, your tribe," asked Running Fox getting up from sitting on his bed.

"No the old ways are gone, to many memories happened here on this land, to many memories I try to forget and move on, but it seems to always find me, I’m a good Indian now, my blood is good," said Lone Wolf.

"If your friends do not come, then will you stay," asked Running Fox?

"Yes, but I know Henry he will come for me," said Lone Wolf.

"Henry I thought you killed him," said Running Fox.

"I know, he will come for me," said Lone Wolf.

"Are you sure he will come and save an Indian boy, he is white, you are Indian an a Apache, what makes you think will save you," asked Running Fox?

"He will I know it, I’m like a son to him, and he is like a father to me, we are even now, I spared him he spared me," said Lone Wolf.

"Why didn't you kill him," asked Running Fox?

"I don't know," said Lone Wolf.

So now Henry, Red Bear and Sheriff Jason were traveling together to get Lone Wolf. They did not stop until they were in Arizona. As they arrived at Fort Apache the door opened and they rode in.

"May I help you gentlemen," asked one soldier?

"Yes the Sheriff here made a mistake on the boy he brought in here three days ago," said Henry.

"Yes the boy told me his name was Lone Wolf, but we rode past a Navajo reservation and saw a woman cry out for her son, he has been missing for three days as well, he calls himself Lone Wolf, but his real name is Running Bear, I could have sworn it was Lone Wolf, so I brought him here," said Sheriff Jason.

"Wait here," said Chris going to see the lieutenant.

"I’m not sure about that one," said Henry watching Chris from behind.

"Henry," said Rough Rider.

"Rough Rider," said Henry walking up to Rough Rider.

"I had to see it for myself; I couldn’t believe he left you alive. If they do not let him go the stockades are over there in that corner, what about Running Fox, are you going to let him go as well, or just Lone Wolf," said Rough Rider.

"Both Rough Rider, I am not that same soldier I once was," said Henry.

"Sir, the Sheriff from Montana is back, he said we have the wrong Indian and that his name is not Lone Wolf," said Chris.

"The Sheriff," said the lieutenant.

"Yes, he said he came across a Navajo reservation and he saw a woman cry out for her son, he claims to be Lone Wolf but his name is Running Bear," said Chris.

"What he looks like Lone Wolf, I'll let him," said the lieutenant.

"What, but sir, the Sheriff lied, that is Lone Wolf, I know it," said Chris.

"They’re taking too long Jason, to long," said Henry cocking his pistol.

"Just wait, maybe they’ll let him go," said Sheriff Jason.

"The Sheriff lies, good Sheriffs would keep their words and keep the peace, why would he lie," asked the lieutenant?

"He is a crooked Sheriff and a liar," said Chris.

"Hold your tongue soldier," said the lieutenant.

So the lieutenant went outside and walked towards the stockades and went inside and unlocked the door and said,

"Young buck, you can go, but be careful on how you use the name Lone Wolf," said the lieutenant.

"But I....," Lone Wolf pause and looked past the lieutenant and saw Henry, Red Bear and Sheriff Jason standing there.

"The Sheriff told us everything, I bet your mother is worried sickly about you," said the lieutenant.

"Oh yes I'm sure she is very worried, I won't do it again I promise," said Lone Wolf.

"Running Fox you can come out of there as well, you've been in there long enough waiting on the real Lone Wolf to show up," said the lieutenant.
So they both walked out and as they got far enough away from the lieutenant Running Fox said,

"Shils aash" (my friend) thank you, I will always remember this day. It is a good day to live," said Running Fox.

"Yes it is, tell Rough Rider bye for me," asked Lone Wolf?

"He already knows," said Running Fox.

So Lone Wolf turned around and their stood Chris face to face.

"You think you have the lieutenant fooled, but not me, you will pay for this Injun, and I will catch you again myself, dead or alive, it doesn't matter to me if I bring you in dead or alive but I prefer you dead," said Chris full of anger.

"Chris, leave him alone he is not Lone Wolf," said the lieutenant.

"You herd the lieutenant Chris, I’m Running Bear not Lone Wolf, have fun searching for the real Lone Wolf,” Lone Wolf said smiling.

Lone Wolf smiled and waved at the lieutenant. He turned around and walked towards Henry.

"I knew you would come," said Lone Wolf.

"I know, let get out of here," asked Henry?

"You took the words right out of my mouth," said Lone Wolf.

Chapter 10

So now Sheriff Jason, Henry, Red Bear and Lone Wolf were traveling together back to Montana. They rode for days and hours and it started to get dark, so they tied their horses up to a tree and built a fire and went to sleep. Next morning came Red Bear was up already making coffee and drinking coffee.

"So are we in Montana yet," asked Red Bear?

"Ye we are were in Montana," said Henry.

"Great, that was a great trip, I had fun," said Red Bear.

"Fun for you maybe, but my butt is sore, you let me ride up front and you in the back," said Lone Wolf rubbing his butt.

"Okay, jeez," said Red Bear.

"Now that your back, stay out of trouble," asked Sheriff Jason?

"Alright," said Lone Wolf.

"Lone Wolf I heard what happened in town and those men," said Henry.

"I snapped, I had my Winchester in my hands and I just lost it, I didn't have any control over it, I don't know. I was angry, I'm living my past all over again," said Lone Wolf.

"I know son, you can't change a warrior," said Henry patting Lone Wolf on the back.
So they went to Frankie's house, when they arrived Frankie walked outside and said,

"I’m glad you guys are back in one peace," said Frankie.
So they went inside and everybody walked into the living room and sat down.

"I have something I want to say, yawls know we have been together for many years, and some of us just joined, we have been through a lot over the years. We need to go our separate ourselves from each other, try to find out what were good at. I'm tire of people being afraid of us, I'm tired of getting shot at, at every town we go through, we have made a lot of enemies, and some of them are from our pasts. I want to live forever until old age hits me. I don’t want to die at the age of thirty, we should all go our separate ways," said Henry.

"I've always wanted to be a teacher," said Bob.

"Is this how you want it, no matter what we do or where we go, the people of our pasts will always catch up with us or kill us. That Sheriff from Texas is still looking for Lone Wolf and I, he's probably still looking and hasn't stopped. Heck I’m sure he has never slept in days, when he finds us we will be shot on site or hanged on site," said Billy.

"That’s not going to happen," said Henry.

"How do you know that," asked Billy?

"I just know," said Henry.

So they went upstairs and washed their faces and went too slept. The next morning came and the sun rose beautifully so the sky was reddish orange. So Henry, Bob, Red Bear, Billy and Lone Wolf went outside to the barn and saddled up there horses, except Lone Wolf he rides his bare back. Lone Wolf left his Winchester with Frankie; he thought Frankie could use it.

"What are you going to do now," asked Lone Wolf?

"I don't know, but I know that I'm not going back to the city, that’s for sure," said Red Bear.

"Well where ever you decide to go I hope it brings happiness and peace," said Lone Wolf.

"Me too, where will you go," asked Red Bear?

"Where ever he'll take me, I will go," said Lone Wolf stroking his horses mane.

"So I guess this means good bye," said Red Bear.

"No it doesn't, this is going to be a whole new beginning, it's a good day to live," said Lone Wolf.

"Yes it is," said Red Bear.

"Bye Lone Wolf," said Frankie.

"Bye Frankie," said Lone Wolf giving Frankie a hug.

"Bye everybody, don't forget about me," asked Frankie?

"We will meet again," said Bob waving to them.

"I hope so friend, take care of yourself Lone Wolf, you and I have been through a lot together, I hope we will see each other again before that Sheriff catches up with one of us and hangs us," said Billy.

"Billy I'll never forget you, and don’t' worry about that Sheriff, we out skunked him before we can do it again," said Lone Wolf.

"I won't forget you ever," Billy riding away real fast and not looking back.

"I wish you luck son, you’re like a son to me, so take care of yourself I don't want to find out that an Indian boy has been killed or gunned down, so take care of yourself," said Henry.

"I know I promise, we will meet again Henry, good bye," Lone Wolf riding out and not looking back.

"Well good bye Frankie, see you soon," Henry riding away, he turned his horse and looked back at Frankie and waved good bye.

"Good luck boys," Frankie said in a soft voice and went inside.

They all headed into different directions. Nobody knows if they are going to see each other again. But it could happen.
