Blessed


I sit here thinking us
There’s a rainbow in the sky
A misty rain falls on my back
as I ask myself why

How can I be so blessed
to have you as my wife
together we have managed
to meet our every strife

we’ve stuck it out as one
through sickness and through health
our love has stayed with us
even though we had no wealth

our children still amaze me
with their laughter and their tears
I often ask myself why I am blessed
with your love throughout these years

I know that God has blessed me
for this I give him praise
to give you and our children
to me for all my days
