The rhythm of my soft paws hitting the cold wet grass in the forest provided a calming effect on my worried mind. My mouth was dry and it was hard to swallow so i began a search for precious water. I had no idea where i was except that i was in a forest. The moon was full and bright, lighting my path as i searched. My vision was blurred and I kept stumbling after a few steps. I could hear the water tumbling over rocks near by but the more i walked the farther it seemed to be. My efforts turned up useless so I searched for a tall tree that i could use to scope out the surrounding area and find out exactly where the water was. With my keen eye sight i quickly sought the source of my problems. it was the bottom of a waterfall. there was bluebells, blue orchids, and lilies lining the waters edge which hide the water from sight. The water was still a ways off and I was too weak to continue on without sleep, so i decided i would seek shelter on a large branch in the tree.
While I slept the fur on my body receded and began to disappear. My bones cracked as my arms and legs grew longer and bare. The white fur on my head grew long and turned a light blonde with a hint of silver that glistened in the moonlight. My snout receded into my face and my teeth straightened and shrank leaving full lips, a strong chin, and a small but keen nose. My eyes remained a shimmering silver that appears cold and lifeless yet fierce. My body laid exposed to the cool night as I slept.
when i came awake from a deep sleep i heard voices. "I smell her! she went this way!" a hard, malicious voice said sounding close to me. a loud booming voice said "Are you sure?" i look up but i couldn't see that well without my glasses in my human form.
my heart beat thundered in my ears. i could feel the blood rushing to oxygen deprived limbs. I took a glance behind me and saw nothing though I knew better. They were coming after me and I had little time to get away though the poison was running through my veins. I been shot with a dart when I had stopped to get water from a small creek, that branched from the waterfall, to check if my leg was broken. It had been hurting me since I jumped from the tall tree when i woke. I had been careless when I jumped and landed too hard on my left leg but I didnt have time to check it just then. When I looked down my vision instantly blurred from the sight of bone protruding from broken skin. I didn't have time to stop and asses my injuries because of my pursuers. I searched my brain for anyone that might have wanted to hurt me but I came up blank. My main concern was about getting away from them and finding shelter.
