“I am standing in front of millions of people, and they are looking up at me expectantly. The sun is glaring at me from the high heavens, as if challenging my endurance. The people are shielding their eyes from the assault of the sun, and are beseeching me with their eyes to rescue them from an unknowable terror, begging me to be their messiah in their times of hopeless distress. I am looking down at them with a sinking feeling in my stomach as I realize that I cannot help them, however hard I try, how much ever I want to. Each time that I try, I fail, and as the dark shadows of disappointment cloud their eyes, I understand that I can never ever win the battles of life, and I will always be a disappointment.”
