Chapter 1
Danielle Anderson sat herself down at the table of a nightclub with her friends Jade and Lauren, and felt herself smiling with joy.
She enjoyed going to night clubs, yes she might be underage at the age of sixteen, but that just made it even more exhilarating to be there.
“I’ll get the first round in” her friend Jade said, flipping a piece of ink black hair behind her bare shoulders “I know by now that you two always bring me the wrong drink, and I want to start tonight happy not pissed of.”
Danielle felt herself laughing as her best friend forever headed towards the bar, she should have realized by now that Jade would always come up with one of her “nobody listens to me” comments.
“If it wasn’t for the fact that she’s buying the drink, I would have made fun of her by now” Lauren said, looking at herself in her small compact mirror.
Danielle rolled her eyes and said “don’t be mean Lauren, and we both know that that is so not true, you have never said a nasty comment to someone in front of them before, and I don’t think you would start with Jade.”
Jade was well known for getting into fights over the smallest of things, so people tended to shy away from her whenever they could.
Lauren shrugged “what can I say; I’m just not a horrible person!”
That made Danielle laugh, she might not talk to people to their faces, but Lauren was well known for chatting nonsense about people behind there back.
Not wanting to wreck the good atmosphere, Danielle decided to change the subject and asked “can I borrow your mirror?”
Looking in the compact mirror, Danielle found herself smiling.
Danielle had always known that she was beautiful, with her pale blond hair, and fare skin. She knew that her deep blue eyes could dazzle even the most cold hearted of people. And that her body was good enough to be for the most pulchritudinous goddesses from every religion.
“I am so not going home to night,” Danielle told Lauren, as she straightened out her thigh length LBD “Even if it means staying the night at a strangers place.”
“Why, what’s wrong?” Lauren asked, playing with her short brown hair like she did when she was nerves.
Danielle looked down at her FM shoes, not wanting to admit what was going on at home. “My parents are arguing over money again” she admitted.
“If push comes to shove you can always stay at my place.” Lauren told her, giving Danielle a sweet smile.
Just then, Jade came back with their drink.
Chapter 2
“you would not believe how long the line was” Jade huffed “it was atrocious!”
Danielle rolled her eyes, and took a deep swig of her drink “your just a drama queen” she said to Jade.
Jade bobbed her tongue out, and started to gulp down her drink.
Danielle raised her eyebrows, she knew that Jade had always liked a drink or two, but the way she was knocking it back like there was no tomorrow was just catty.
“if you drink like that all night, we will run out of money in half an hour” Lauren joked, also noticing how Jade was drinking.
Jade shrugged “don’t worry; I will just get some more money if we run out.”
Danielle reminded herself that Jade same from a wealthy family, where a thousand pounds was classed as spare change.
“I’m not spending any of you father’s money” Lauren told Jane “no way am I that nonsensical enough to do that, do I look like I have a death wish or something?”
“it’s not like he is going to miss it” Danielle reminded “he’s got so much of it that he could probably put an end to poverty!”
“and they do say that charity starts at home” Jade added with a grin on her pale face.
Lauren looked up, and when she abruptly smiled, Danielle found herself frowning.
“why are you so suddenly so optimistic?” Danielle asked her.
“there is a hot guy over at the other side of the room and he is staring right in your direction Danielle.” Lauren said, waggling her eyebrows.
Turning around, Danielle felt excitement bubble in the pit of her stomach.
There was a guy looking at her, and he was pulchritudinous than any other man she had ever seen in her entire life.
He only looked about twenty, with midnight black hair, and the most dream like dark skin. His grandiose green eyes pierced into hers like a wild cat when it was about to raid the forest for its latest hunt.
“you should go over there” Jade whispered into her ear “from what I can see, this is a once in a life time opportunity girl, and I would pounce on him if I ever had the chance.”
“will you two be okay here without me?” Danielle asked her two friends “I don’t want you to feel I’m ignoring you for some random guy I just saw.”
Lauren rolled her eyes “just go Danielle; you know we would if he was staring at one of us, so just go already!”
Giving her friend a quick smile, Danielle slowly headed to the man, her hips swaying in time with the music.
Chapter 3
“Hello there” she purred as she got to his table “may I sit with you?”
not giving him a chance to reply, Danielle sat down on a chair, as close to him as she possibly could be.
The man gulped loudly and said “I’m Dylan by the way.”
Danielle gave him one of her best smile “it’s a pleasure to meet you Dylan” she whispered into his ear, just so he could just make out what she was telling him “my names Danielle.”
“would you like a drink Danielle?” he asked her.
Danielle smiled, and showed him the glass she was holding in her hand “I’m okay for now…but maybe in five minutes or so.”
Dylan licked his lips and said “maybe you would like to go outside…it’s a little loud in here, and I can hardly understand a word that you are saying.”
Normally Danielle wasn’t imbecile enough to go anywhere with a complete stranger but she had a good feeling about Dylan, and he seemed congenial enough.
Slowly Danielle nodded, hoping that her friends wouldn’t think of her as a slut for leaving with him after only starting speaking with him for a few minutes.
Taking her hand, Dylan pulled Danielle to her feet.
“follow me” he said in a rough voice.
Quickly Danielle followed him outside into the night, just outside the back of the night club.
Danielle soon realized that it was chillier outside than she first thought it to be.
When Dylan turned to Danielle, she found her self froze in the spot with fear.
“w-what are you doing with that?” Danielle stuttered, looking at the knife that he was pointing towards her.
Dylan gave her a overwrought expression “I thought you would have got it by now” he told her “do you really think I would for such a cheap tart like yourself? God you make me sick.”
Danielle’s eyes widened with shock, he had tricked her into coming out into the street where no one could see them, but why.
“please don’t hurt me” she whispered “I’m not who you think I am, I am only sixteen. I’m too young to die.”
“you should have thought of that before you decided to play games in the adult world little girl” he laughed as he pledged the knife into her stomach.
Pain sizzled though Danielle’s body, making her shrivel down to the cold stone pavement.
I’m going to die, she thought as everything went black. But I will have my revenge someday.
