The Diary of an Adventurer

My name is Ray Richards. I'm an Adventurer, Man of Action, Tomb Raider, Scientist, Inventor, innovator of sorts, test pilot, sometime unwilling astronaut and Man About Town. Most people in my biz know me as Raygun Richards. Why, They called me Raygun. Nobody knows why. It's just a named that stuck and The media liked it and The reading public ate it up. So it stuck. I've keeped a digital Diary of all my exploits on a hand held device called a Tablet. I have hundreds of upon hundreds of diaries of my exploits stored in memory sticks and flash drives. They tell The Tales of RayGun Richards. It is all there for the world to see.           

Chapter One

His name was RayGun Richards and He was enjoying absorbing the rays of the sun by his pool in Florida. Somewhere  in Florida, Nobody knew. Where except RayGun. It was his secret subterranean hideout from the world. When, He wanted time to himself and to hide from undesirables or a place to store his treasures. That, He collected from around the world. It really wasn't a make shift hideout. It was more like a subterranean mansion. The first and last of it's kind. It was a lunar moon house, as lush as a mansion. It was designed for the moon and could with stand meteor showers. He named it. The Vault and underneath The Vault was The Vaults of Desires. Because, His most desired prized artifacts were keeped there. That, He found from around the world was stored at The Vaults of Desires in a series of underground bank type solid steel vaults. Every man already envy RayGun. If, They knew about The Vaults of Desires. They would even more envy RayGun Richards. It was built in the strange vortex of Florida. The Spanish Conquistadors by accident found The Vortex. They tried to find it again and could not. Ray Richards found it. After many years of searching for it. He was relaxing in The Mythical Legendary Fountain of Youth pool. That Cortez tried to find and searched all his life. He was swimming in the pool and absorbing the rays of an artificial sun. He used a special advanced GPS guidance system. Which locked on a homing device in The Vault.
