This is the beginning of a new love

Starla stares out the window with tears in her eyes.She always wondered if their love was strong enough to make him change his mind.

She was answered with the tail lights of Chads chevy fading into the night.A very snowy night,a blizzard Starla could barely see outside.

As the tail lights disappeared into the night. she felt her heart sink into the pitt of her stomach.

She remembeed it like it was just yesterday when she heard the news.Starla and her best friend Carly were at the mall shoping for a pair of miss may jeans.When they heard the tv report that the war has started again.They will begin the drafts in five months.Starla froze were she stood then she
snapped out of it. When she heard the most annoying voice ever.

It was candice the prom queen of 2013 .The popular cheerleader.candice said "Starla rae is that you?" Starla tried to act like she didnt hear her but candice tapped her on the shoulder and said again "Starla Rae is that you?" Starla turned and said with a fake smile "Candice i haven't seen you in forever" .candicae put a smirk on her face and said how is working at barneys book store?" Starla said angry im a model for vogue austria " candice gasped as in disbelief "well I be,I am a model for vogue usa."Starla had been caught she didnt know what to say."well i have to go nice seeing you though." Candice nodded as to say bye.

Starla was so annoyed that she of all people candice would see her.Starla and carly got into starlas purple mustang. carly couldn't believe that candice would try to humiliate her in front of strangers.starla was furious she went to drop carly off.starla started to make her way over to her and chads new house.They just bought a log cabin in the woods.She was proud of this.this was the start to her new life

She drove doen their long drive way. It was perfect it was away from everyone just like starla liked it. They got a good deal on it. Starla's dad helped with it mostly but he called it an early wedding gift for them. Starla and Chad had been together for 8 years. Since they started middle school keep in mind they graduated 2 years ago. so they had been through alot together and still stuck together, so it was obvious they were going to get married. 

She just always imagined a life together. Now that the draft had started they might not get to be together forever like she planned. She finally reached the cabin, she sat in her car for a minute gathering her thoughts. She didnt want chad to know she was having a break down. She told chad many times before, that she supports his decision in taking a job in the army.
