INTRODUCTION
A certain mad woman conceived through rape and later gave birth to a blind child. After her death; the child was raised by a certain old woman who gave them refuge.
The child grew to be the wisest in the village; however the predicaments surrounding his birth made the villagers to hate and despise him in all occasions. Nevertheless; his wisdom and words of insights landed him into the palace.
Chapter 1
The critical madness.
In the Land full of greediness, envy, and jealousy, a certain woman once lost her husband through a tragic car accident where he collided with a huge cargo truck and died on the scene. Since they never had a child; her husband left everything in her name including shares from the oil company he worked for.
However; Poverty and riches will never be close friends nevertheless they have this in common; they provoke enemies wherever they go.
The woman and her husband were despised by his family during when they were poor.
They used to say “poverty is contagious and if you associate yourself with such people, you are at the high risk of being infected too".
This was their catchphrase to mock poor people. But just because success is not determined by what people refer to you in your struggles; Sometime later, her husband got a vacancy from a crude oil company. That is where their life began to change and his family was envious of their prosperity.
Now that the woman's husband is no more, his family learned that he has put everything under the name of his wife; and as a seed grows fast in fertile soil, so was their jealousy in mischievousness.
The entire family accused the woman of plotting against her husband through the medium of witchcraft for the inheritance.
Their accusations proved for nothing and on a verge of killing her, all efforts became futile.
Through the medium of sorcery, they decided to strike her with mental illness.
They went to a witch doctor who gave them a pint-sized bottle and a charm; he gave them instructions on how to use it.
He said “when you get home, use this charm to make incantations, call her name and thereafter, open the bottle, then insert the charm, seal it and at midnight; go and entomb the bottle in front of her house”.
They did as instructed and behold; the woman woke up in the morning as usual, she went out of the house, she stepped on where the bottle was hidden and immediately she felt something like a hard knock on her head.
She curved down while becoming dizzy, her body started itching and she began scratching.
––––––––
AFTER SOME MINUTES she chilled down, and went into the house. Getting there; she proceeded towards the mirror, and seeing the reflection of herself, she started giggling at it.
She could glance at the mirror, frown for some seconds, and laugh at it.
That she did repeatedly and suddenly she went outside again.
Seeing a butterfly flying over her; she started to imitate it.
In her compound; she began to chase all the fowls and one of them ran outside the gate.
She followed it out and the fowl ran a separate way from her but she continued to run until she rested somewhere near the dumping site.
At childbirth
At the vicinity of the dumping site, there was a bush nearby and there she made her home.
One day she went to the dumping area in search of food; and getting there she saw a black refuse bag, she took it, and started smiling, turning it over and over like a woman who just discovered a beautiful dress.
Teen-agers passing by that route saw her, and the way she acted could tell that she is a madwoman.
The kids started to provoke her intentionally in an attempt for her to display another level madness.
She could chase them and if ever none of them is caught she could sit down pretending to be crying.
It was indeed a funny moment for those kids, and sometime later; three men also came by.
They saw how the kids were having fun with the madwoman.
Since they were not going to any place in particular, they decided to join the fun too, though they did nothing to provoke her, however watching the children doing their thing, it was enough for them to have fun too.
The madwoman decided to ignore the children as she got hungry, she proceeded to the garbage to find something to eat, and luckily she got a little.
The kids too decided to leave the place as nothing they did that could capture the woman's attention anymore.
The three men were already sitting under the tree having their discussions.
After eating; the madwoman again took the refuse bag, she tried to fit it and after seeing that it can make a beautiful dress.
She then removed her clothes to put on a newly found beautiful dress according to her.
It was at the open place that she took off her clothing and the three men saw everything she did.
The woman was approximately 36 years old, good looking with a stunning body shape.
––––––––
WITNESSING ALL THAT; the three-man couldn't resist what they saw, they observed around to see if somebody could see them, and to their break; there wasn’t anyone at the vicinity.
It was indeed a good shot for them to do exactly what they had in mind.
They instantly hurried to seize the woman inside the bush, they gang-raped her and ran away.
The woman later disappeared from that location after the incidence and nine months later she was found lying under the tree in another scrubland by an old woman who went there to look for firewood.
The madwoman was very weak and she was in labor as the three young men raped her to pregnancy.
The old woman and her daughter helped her to give birth and she gave birth to a male child.
There were lot of complications during her childbirth, though the child was fine; the woman was never up to scratch.
The old woman and her daughter took the mother and child to their hut not far from the scrub.
The old woman was banished from her village after being falsely accused by her elder son of being a sorceress.
––––––––
THAT IS HOW SHE ENDED in the bush with her 5-year-old daughter.
She took responsibility of the baby and the madwoman. Two days later, the madwoman sneaked out of the house after the old woman and her daughter went to their usual routine "fetching of firewood".
She ran without conscious of where she was heading to and suddenly she found herself at the bank of the river.
She then drank the water, and in a process; she saw the reflection of
