Prologue

Travelling is one of my most inspiring activities. When taking out my photocamera I often spot things which immediately let words pop-up in my head.

Or I feel the poetic moment.

Sometimes having to take out a pen or mobile device to take notes, is a must to keep the flow. Then often in few minutes a poem is ready.

At other times just the review of pictures taken during the day gives me the idea. Writing is my passion since I was little, I hope you will enjoy.

The Heart of the Forest

ONCE UPON A TIME...

There was a little seed that stuck in the earth and waiting for the sun.

One day it happened to split open and a tiny leaf started to unfold. The warmth on the soil grew day by day and the springtime created longer days.

A promising sound of chirps arose everywhere and in a sudden the tiny plant got aware of its neighbours. There were others of her kind and she thought about

how to connect to them.

She  stretched a bit and a tiny little blue bud grew out of her stem and after a few days she realized the others had done so, too.

One morning a little bewinged being flew around with a stick and touched every one of them and the sound of bells started to fill the forest. A mutual chime

and rhyme merged with the singing birds.

There she stood and next to her was this wooden giant. He was tall and made no sound. She admired his strength and calmness. It gave her peace but still

the little blue bell wondered if he had no voice or if he even was deaf?

She shook in the wind to get his attention but nothing happened. A few days she tried again without succes, realizing that somehow she felt a deep connection

growing to that tree. Had she fallen in love?

One morning she tried harder and hummed. The other blue bells were turning around glaring at her unusual sound. It seemed like they dissaproved her

behaviour. She ducked her head but continued to hum. The tree stayed silent.

The only thing that happened was the little bewinged one popping up and smiling. "Now my dear, what is your desire? I can fulfill one single wish, chose

wisely." There was no second thinking for the little bluebell. She hummed again as she was not capable to form words. Then she bowed her upper bell in the

direction of the tree. The bewinged one glanced sideways and understood. To be sure she asked: " You want to connect to him?" pointing to the tree. The little

bluebell shook again in approvement and it even sounded like she belled a little giggle.

The bewinged however, instead of flying to the tree now touched the bluebell with her stick. A glow came from her centre and a ray of sun appeared on them.

Then a cough and a deep noise toned.

Suddenly the tree seemed to awake. A rustling went through his leaves and a magical glowing heart appeared on his front. The bewinged smiled... "So be it!"

she said happily. "That's what love is all about. Infinitely borne from light. To connect and never let go."
