Lance walked down the street, his head moving with the beat in his headphones. Whenever he was listening to music, he forgot about all of his problems. He didn’t worry about how he was going to feed his family, or how he was going to take care of his sick mother. It was just him and his music. At some point, Lance had to come back to reality. “Alright, everyone get on the ground now, this is a robbery”
Childhood had been tough on Mark. His weight had singled him out for all of the bullies in high school. He had been through it all: he had been stuffed into lockers, given swirlys, and made fun of on the playground every day. This abuse had been terrible to Mark. Every night, he cried himself to sleep, and every morning he dreaded going to school. One night, he decided something needed to be done. His father was a police officer, and he always left his gun on the table. He raised the gun to his temple, and pulled the trigger.
Carson loved his wife. They had gotten married straight out of high school, and had bought an apartment in New York City. Carson had a job in the mail room of a newspaper company. However, the moment he walked in the door, more stress was dished on him. His wife told him that she was leaving him. Anger welled up inside him. After all that he provided her? No she wasn’t.
