Dracula Returns
Chapter 1
It was on Saturday May 27, 2011 this happened. In Dark yard mansion, the place sounds like one out of a fiction story, the enchantress Cassadella was mixing up a spell, and then out of the blue, Whoosh! Cackles were heard and then Dracula was back and was again renamed the Death station by Dracula…
“Jim!! Wake up its half past six! Don’t you remember that you’re going to your new school?” Mum exclaimed. Hearing the sound of the new school the young boy skipped out of bed in excitement. Jim was bored and tired of his old school; it was horrid! He had heard that many of his friends were going too. Wizardry, as you might have guessed, is a school for wizards and witches! Even though Jim was none the head had said he could have a go to see if he had any wisp of magic in him.
The car puffed and seemed to yawn as Dad started the engine. Jim flung his bags in to the boot and bounced in to the rear seat of the car. Questions, questions, questions was all the 12 year old boy asked until his dad threatened to stop the car and put him down, ”Are you serious? Your questions are driving me…” his dad went on.
Chapter 2
Finally they arrived at Dark Yard. Saying bye, Jim trotted to the school gates wondering where everyone else was. Soon he found a classroom and walked in.” Your 30 seconds late Jimmy John! Go and sit down in that corner on the table… Yes that one.” Jimmy expected that would be his teacher for the term. He was right. This tall man with evil brown eyes as sharp as an eagles’ was his class teacher. Everyone was as stunned as Jim at the man’s promptness. Soon ‘He’ begun his classes. “Good day to you, I hope you are well. My name is Count Dracula, to you Master Dracula.” Whispers echoed around the room such as-‘ He’s that person from that story and is said that the foundation of his house is made of grave stones!’ and ‘ I hope he doesn’t decide to bite us or there would be a big reduction of us day by day!’, until “Silence!” Dracula’s voice echoed,” if you please I shall continue… I am your head teacher and Miss Cassadella is your class teacher. You will be split up into Math, English and geometry in separate sets according to your ability. Thank You. If you allow, I shall leave to see the other classes.
Chapter 3
“….Latin is a very important in wizardry because most spells are said in Latin. Today I want you to give the translations of these sentences…” the lesson for Latin droned on and on. Jim had enjoyed most of his day however, he just wished that there was a deletion of Latin in all schools in the world. Fortunately for him, He found out he had magic in him! Suddenly the cry of Master Dracula echoed the school. This sign meant that it was for Miss Cassadella to give the class the completion of sentence and show them a demonstration of their homework, and after that it was the end of the school day.
Chapter 4 3:30. Thinking of telling his family about Dracula coming to life and teaching him with his own magical powers and that he had magic, drove him off to sleep.
“Hi hi!” a voice gigled around Jim’s head,” wake up Jimmy boy!” a 4 year old exclaimed. Drowsily, he awoke to find himself in his room. As quick as lightning he sped downstairs to tell his family about school. Downstairs he met his mother fussing over proportion of mashed potatoes his father was taking. “Hello dear,” Mum murmured,” had a good day?”
“Of course I did! Do you know I can do magic? Its’ just that I never tried it that I didn’t know…..” Jim sped on. Finally when he finished his parents chorused in disbelief “I don’t think this is true. If you continue this we might not continue sending you to this type of education.”
Chapter 5
To Jim it was as if the whole of the nation, no the world, actually the universe was against him! No one was paying any attention to him; he felt horrible. However, he didn’t know that everyone except his parents had believed Dracula was back, that horrid man with cruel eyes That night it felt as if he slept for a fraction of a second.
The journey to school was slow and tedious. Misery still surrounded him and he still felt drowsy. Finally they reached school and Jimmy jumped out of the car. With a quick hug for his father, he walked in the school doors. This time he was early; the teachers meeting was still on. His friends were outside and called to him. “Can you believe it? Dracula’s back! Almost everyone in the world knows!” Jim grinned and ran back to the classroom. He heard voices... Suddenly some sentences caught his ear: “How am I supposed to hide the fact that I’m not Dracula? After all I am really just a fake appearance of him...” That was it. The fact had been found. It was as if Jim was digging and digging for the treasure and then... Voila! He found it! Jim was stranded, he didn’t know what to do! How was he going to tell everyone? Not just his friends but the whole Wide World!!
