POEMS

  • The sun set on my heart

Today, I went to the sun set
Deep in to the Lagoon’s depths
I saw beauty.

The sky turned yellow and orange
the sun turned a fiery red
While It moved down.

The clouds were a sight, a surreal landscape
Millions of meters away from the sand
It showed off

My dry heart started to fill with a cold yet warm wind
And I realized that the day just ended in majestic beauty
A piece of which kept me alive for another day.

  •   Life prevailed

There, in the distant corner of a darkened room
Lays a woman in pain, a woman in labor
Late in the night, where silence strikes
She mourns in pain, to prevail a life
No one to hold her tight
No one to help her out
With a heart of undying courage
She with a scissor in her hand
Cut off the cord of tight
Took out her newborn out
And laid there restlessly
All drained with sweat and blood
Yet the ill fortune strikes the little one
She that struggled with courage
to prevail a life
sacrificed herself unto
the inviting hands of death
embracing the dear one to her flesh
Lifeless yet undeniable love
that will conquer every word of death and world
For her hope that her seed will live to endure
endure every judgment that world will spat unto him
And to lead his ways unto justice, to conquer poverty
That she herself endured well

  •   Live again

Swaying with the wind
Flowing like a cascade
Spent my days above the land
Where clouds were white as snow
