Unbelievable

The crabs on the beach slowly went under the sand, at first Lilly poked them to see if one would move, or jump out, but instead it stayed in place.

Lilly was seven six and a half.  Beautiful girl, but not meant to live on an island...

....

This tall man was staring for a while at the shores of Konkoo.  Then he seen it through his long scope.  A tiny girl with auburn hair, her hair was all tied back with a vine, and her bottom was covered with a big leaf.  Her top on the other hand, she didn't have a top.  Lilly had a small island rose in her hair, and the freckles that graced her skin were like little dots from how the man looked.

Lilly began poking more than one crab, and suddenly, they all started awakening.  The sand shivered slowly off the backs.  At first Lilly didn't understand that she was bothering them, but when they started snipping at her, she jumped away from them.

The man made his crew dock the beach on the other side, in case the child was alone and stranded, which was certainly the case.  Lilly seen the man and her face scrunged up at him, his hand had a small fire ball in it to light his almost dark path.  "Are you Lilly?"

Her heart was gushing making her face warm up with pride, she just attached to his leg.  No matter what, the naked girl wasn't going to let him go.  King Arthor took that small girl back to the boat with him.  It was the child he was looking for indeed.  The birth mark on her hand was the same as her Mother's, Queen Claris.  Claris was said to rule a country alone, in hopes of marriage, well more of the people had hopes she would remarry.

Claris had Lilly when she was twenty eight, the little adorable bundle of joy, just so happened to hit her head and get kidnapped by some servants.  Without a child, or thinking that the child is alive, she would have to remarry.  Arthor began his search to find this missing little girl.  Just what wasn't expected, she was mute.

Not a single word was spoken to the man, she just clung onto him, slept in the same bed with him, and refused any food that didn't look like a fish.  Arthor found Lilly rather fonding.  He was going to show the Queen that he was very capeable of being her husband, and if a child is what she wants more than ever, then that's what he was going to get back for her.

The rumors were spreading like a wild fire, the princess was indeed alive still, only because the maids whom kidnapped her, admitted it.

....

By the time they docked up to the palace, Lilly covered her ears.  Things weren't so quiet.  "Child, you will be fine, this is your home, this is your country."

She looked up shyly at the man, then dug her nails into his legs.  It took two people to get her off from him.  He had made quite an impression on her.

....

Arthor didn't tell the Queen of his arrival, not yet, he was going to surprise her of Lilly.  As if it was nothing, he slipped a pink silky dress right on over Lilly, then he brushed her small curls out.  "You must look nice for the queen."

Lilly tried smacking him a few times, but that only made him growl something at her, so she stopped.  Although it hurt to get brushed out, she endured it.  He took two little shoes and slipped them on her feet, but she kicked them off, so he then just put stockings on her that had teddy bears on the feet.

....

Her hair was now looking more calm, the vine she had used to knot her hair was out, and a sad looking bow took it's place.

Lilly began walking with him, her right hand in his, she didn't hesitate to not go into the wide open space, the throne room.  It was empty.

"Queen Claris."

She looked up and seen what he was doing, bowing to the strange woman sitting on the throne.  "What is it now Arthor!?"

Such anger though, boomed and echoed through the room.  Her auburn hair was all up in a tight bun, and she had really red lipstick on.  "Well, I just, I want to return something to you."

Lilly didn't budge, but he kicked her away from him, but she just stared at him, "that is your Mother."

The scary looking woman raised an eyebrow at the man, "another one of you? Do you take me for a fool? I've had many men try and offer their own daughter's just for money."

"Times are hard Claris, you know this.  This is the princess though."

He turned her, and she faced Claris.  "What's your name child?"

Not a single word, but she found herself finally letting go of Arthor.  "Well? I don't have all day child!"

"Don't be mean Claris.  She hasn't spoken since I found her."

"Where did...you find this child?"

"I would never kidnap another families child Claris, and I don't need money.  I want to end the fued between our countries, and in return, you get your child back."

"She isn't my child!"

"I'm telling you-"

"No! I told you no! I don't want anymore of this!"

"She has the birth mark Claris! I found her on the island!"

Lilly made a ducky face then sat down on the floor, she smacked it a few times before laying down.  "An island?"

"The trades...they have gotten worse."

"I understand that.  Why would they want anything to do with a child?"

He lifted her dress in an awkward way, showing the bloody back, all black and blue.  "I'm guessing that the trades are now involving children, Princess Lilly is special because of her ablilities Queen Claris, and that makes her more valuable.  I take it she tried to run a few times and that's why she has marks on her feet."

Queen Claris stood up from that throne.  "How many more children did you say went missing?"

"Fourty," Claris whispered.  "Princess Lilly so happened to be one of the unforunate soals.  For what purpose did they need her, I do not know my Queen.  Although, I cannot hear her animal anymore."

Claris started on forwards to Lilly, she was sleeping! Any Mother would recognize their child, and certainly this child did belong to her.  Lilly woke up to find herself in some odd square bed, and it smelled like the island roses.  The light was dim, and something was tightly wrapped around her stomach.

"Don't move too much."

The woman came in to check on little Lilly, but a couple times she ran away from the woman to go and find Arthor.  What she didn't know was that her Mother was giving Arthor quite a good thank you for bringing her back.

....

One more run, but only to run into the scary woman who's voice was loud.  Lilly's ears perked up as she smacked into her legs, but then she shivered herself away, disgusted of herself for some reason.  "Aren't you supposed to be resting Lilly?"

The scary woman wasn't sounding so scary anymore.  Lilly then attached herself to her leg.  "Uh..what..are you doing?"

Those green eyes peered up at her, almost in a needy way.  Arthor came out though from behind, and Lilly practically tossed Claris to the side and grabbed his hand tugging him to her room.  She patted the bed.  "You want to know what that is?"

Her eyes widened.  "It's a bed."

Claris was being seen as the wisdom bird now, Lilly kept tapping her the rest of the day asking her what things were.  Although she wouldn't talk, she just needed to know what things were, an understanding.

Lilly stalked Claris, and very closely watched how she reacted with the scary people.  A few times Lilly would attach herself onto her legs, then she would go back to Arthor, she couldn't decide who she wanted.

....

"Lilly, up darling."

Those sparkly green eyes looked around the room, exploring to whoms lovely voice awakened her.  Claris would have been the only one to speak so warm, so she of course found her way to the throne room, where she stood with Arthor, talking about plans.

Lilly smiled at Claris then quielty snuck up until she was next to her.  A small flower though off to the side ended up being lit on fire because of Lilly freightening Claris.  "Darling why are you up so early?"

Now confused, Lilly tugged at her dress.  "Are you hungry?"

Her curls bounced as she kept shaking her head at Claris.  "I thought of you for a moment of getting up, but I didn't know you were up."

Still confused, she got in front of Claris, now deciding who exactly she wants mainly.  Arms flared up like a monkey, she made small whimpering noises.  "Lilly? What are you doing?"

She continued to make those noises before getting what she wanted, to be held.  Slightly her nose pressed against Clairs's neck, and she breathed in calmly.  "She won't say a single thing," Arthor began again.  "Maybe she's just trying to regain her strength."

Lilly was like a baby bird, but now, she was resting in her Mother's arms.  Lots of times Lilly seen animals birth and take care of their babies, so Lilly wondered for a moment to why she wasn't birthed and taken care of.  Not letting it bother her though, she just clung like a monkey.  "My dear, you need to let go."

Hesitantly she did let go finally, but when she looked down at Lilly, she noticed how dirty she was, "my heavens, you couldn't even at least bathe her before showing her to me? To think I slept with you."

"We had fun, but no, it's not like I know how to bathe a child."

Lilly began tugging at the dress, and then she ended up on her back, Arthor though grabbed her and pulled her up, "you don't need to itch them, they need to heal."

"GRRRR!"

"Your not a bear! Now come!"

She dragged Lilly off to the bath room.

....

"No, don't itch it."

She hugged Lilly tight, close so that she didn't try itching the lashes.  "Do you know how to sing the A.B.C's?"

Curious to what in the world the woman was saying, she began to listen.  The small chants of the words engraved into her head, but she couldn't make the noises.  Slightly she felt Claris trace the scar along her neck and it made her jump off her lap and into the deep water.  This wasn't no ordinary bath, it was a very big bath made for the mermaids.

....

Bath House

Lilly was pulled up and placed back into her lap, Lilly stared at Claris, giving her the most ugly look.  "I didn't do it, you jumped."

Instead of growling at her, she rest her head on Claris's chest, Claris thought it would have been weird if she would have been older, but seeing how it was just a little girl, it wasn't that weird.  "You worry me, my dear, the country is bigger than you think, it will all go under the sea during summer, that is when our tails must return."

Tails? Lilly pondered.  She looked at what she was really sitting on, then her eyes went big.  "Something wrong?"

No, Lilly was thinking of many ways to cook her.  The water was warm though so she thought that maybe she was cooking herself just so that Lilly could eat her tail, there wasn't a tail there before.  Slightly she tipped over into the water again, but this time Claris didn't grab her.

Tug*

"Lilly! What are you doing!?"

Tug* Tug*

She tried many times to pull her apart, but it just didn't work, but then she noticed her feet were gone also, but she was slowly sinking to the bottom.  Her arms reached up and snatched Claris's tail.  Right on up the small girl went, only to see an angry looking face.  "Do not, ever, pull my tail!"

Lilly slightly smiled not understanding a word, that smile is what go Claris to lighten up.

....

"Queen Claris, you have asked for my service?"

The man kept glaring at Princess Lilly, the tiny thing playing on the floor with seashells.  "Y-you have found her?"

"Oh yes, I thought that maybe you'd have a good enough explanation to how she got on that island.  You see, while we are talking, my guards are pulling children off your boat right now."

The anger in his eyes beamed to the child, "they all got what they deserved, and I wouldn't take any of it back!"

Only one look at the man, made Lilly toss a shell so fast at his head, one after another until he looked brutally beaten, Lilly sat there watching him collaspe, she grabbed her blanky and hugged herself with it.  Claris just not stared at Lilly, the hate inside her for that man at that moment, was so grand that it was like fire licking at her back side.

Queen Claris stood up as one of the maids started covering his body up, she went over, picked up Lilly.  She seemed more happier being off that floor in the messy blanket.  "Bed time."

The little tummy growl, made Claris change her mind about bed time.  "Dinner.."

....

"Arthor why are you still here?"

"Like I said, I want your hand in marriage."

"I don't want to marry again."

"Fine, then marry me, and I'll return back to my country, we will rule together from seperate countries."

"Do you know why nobody is allowed to travel here during the summer Arthor?"

"N-no."

"It's because this entire land mass sinks under water."

"What!?"

"How do you expect to run both? Especially if one is underwater, and you can't go underwater."

"I'm sure there is a way.."

"No, there is not.  Give it up.  Give me up."

"What about the other night then? What was that?"

"I haven't had sex in eight years since my husband died.  We had a fling."

"Wow."

"What exactly do you want from me Arthor?"

"I want..I want you to consider me."

"I do not want to marry."

"I understand, but maybe a lover instead?"

....

Lilly stared for a while at her Mother doing the shame walk away from the bedroom door.  That had been where Arthor was sleeping she thought to herself.  Knowing that someone had seen, she slowly turned 360 on her heels, to find little Lilly giving her the look of shame, "I...I wasn't..."

She was crying, tired, confused, and quite frankly she just wanted to go home.  As Claris got closer seeing the poor thing upset, Lilly got farther away from her.  Leading her to the master bedroom, where she and Claris had slept.  "Are you tired baby?"

Lilly pulled that blanket though, and she stared at her Mother while she did so, no, this child was angry.  That blanket trailed behind little Lilly as she stomped her feet to the grand hallway.  "L-Lilly??"

It annoyed Claris that she couldn't speak because of someone cutting her throat, but she knew awfully well that she couldn't blame Lilly for what had happened.  Lilly sat down with the big blanket right in the throne chair, well she couldn't get up to it because she was short, but she managed to.  The blanket became her stool and she got up onto the chair.

The blanket slowly pulled up.  Claris watched as she curled into a ball on her throne, "Lilly, if your tired then you can come and sleep in the bed, not on my chair."

Her feet kicked up, and she groaned at Claris.  "Come."

One growl.  "Lilly, you cannot sleep here! Now come on!"

Two growls.  "Are you mad at me!?"

Three growls.  "That's it!" Queen Claris picked her up with the blanket, but before she could start walking off, she heard a low grumble from her tummy.  That's why she was throwing a tantrum, it dawned on Claris then she felt utterly bad for putting pleasure first before Lilly.

The food that was placed in front of Lilly though, wasn't good enough for her, Arthor came into the room looking rather good in his uniform.  He took one look at her food and shook his head, "did your Mommy not give you what you wanted?"

Lilly tossed a piece of steak at him, he sighed.  He rearranged her food to look like a fish.  Rather than aggreeing to the conditions of that arrangement, Claris was mortified.  She was now understanding why her daughter was trying to eat her tail.

"That must be all they fed her on the island," Arthor whispered to Claris.  "I don't..want to know what else they have done, okay? Just let it go."

"She can talk Claris..you just need to catch her talking.  She won't talk because rumor was, the girls that were kidnapped were hit so hard if they would even say a single word.  Lilly must have talked a lot, because out of all of the girls that got off that boat...they only had small cuts."

Lilly took in all the damage for those girls.  Lilly understood her role as a princess, just because she was little didn't mean she wasn't smart, and for a long time she had forgotten the ways, the life she had with her Mother, and instead, she fought seagulls just for food.

Her hands dug into the fishy squares, a few times she tossed a few pieces because she couldn't eat them.  Claris proceeded to watch her, until she had enough.  "Lilly," she announced loudly.  Her head slowly bopped down.  "Y-you are eating it wrong, here, watch Mommy."

She watched, then she tried.  The fork fell several times.  Finally, Claris got up and taught her how to hold to fork.

....

Many times did Arthor catch her talking to herself something about magic, on his boat, so Claris and him just wanted to see what she talks about alone.  So they set up a plan.  To get Lilly out of the mute state.

She found herself alone again, so she decided to go and grab the bedsheets off the bed.  "That little twerp," Claris laughed a little.  They watched as she went to the throne room again.  "Mommy no," finally, they caught her speaking to herself.  In the throne room is sounded louder, like a cute tiny whisper.  So she continued to the chair even though her Mother wasn't sitting in it.  For some odd reason, Lilly was drawn in to that throne.

As she got back up onto that chair, she waited, and waited, thinking that someone would come out.  her little feet swayed, then she grabbed at her silky dress again and tried pulling it off.  When it finally did get off, she growled at it and tossed it far across the room.  This naughty little princess was not going to wait any longer.

"Should we...come out now?"

"Oh no, just wait.."

Lilly slightly bent over and snatched the blanket, pulling it up and over her, a maid noticed this and she didn't dare intrude, but was curious enough to go up to little Lilly.  The blanket flopped over and Lilly found herself staring into this woman's soal.  "Princess Lilly? You look very tired."

She continued staring at the maid, "how about you come with me, and we will get you into some pajamas? Then maybe bed?"

At first, she wasn't going to consider going with the woman, but then she grabbed the blanket and gave a ducky face to her, "I'm sure the Queen is around here some where Princess."

Finally, Princess Lilly gave up being stubborn.  The tiny girl followed the maid to the Master bedroom.  Claris was standing in there looking out of breath.  "Lilly, I told you not to run off with these bed sheets!"

Lilly pulled on them and innocently gave them back to her.  "Thank you so much for bringing Lilly back here."

The maid weirdly bowed out.  Lilly gathered over to Claris and stayed close to her feet.  "Lilly, no more taking the bed sheets, I know you are mad at me, but that's not how you get my attention."

She patted the floor with her tiny feet.  "Potty?"

The magic words! Lilly snatched her hand and began pulling her to the bathroom.  The toilet was very far away.  "Where Mommy?"

Maybe she had been speaking this whole time, only now could Claris understand what she was saying, she payed close attention to her.  "I was in the bath baby."

Lilly nervously pulled her little undies down before being lifted up.  Queen Claris just smiled at her, "good job!"

That confused her.  What was she being praised for? She thought to herself.  "How about we take a bath?"

This was new for Lilly, maybe this was what the Goddess talked about.

....

"Now, when I get in the bath Lilly, you don't get to try and eat me again."

She slowly hid the fork behind her back.  "How about you get into the bath first and I'll get in next?"

"No."

"No?"

"No."

"Okay then I'll get in, and you can come in after?"

"Yes."

"Yes?"

This child was thinking of so many dishes that she could put that big tail on.  "Lilly, don't scratch at your back."

"It itchy."

"I know, but don't.  It needs to heal."

"B-but it-"

Claris snatched her baby girl and placed her into the big bath, noticing the fork.  "You were going to try and eat me again!?"

"N-no...Mommy..."

Lilly held onto the side of the bath, and Claris slowly got into the tub with her.  "Why can't I eat you? Arthor eats you-"

Lilly covered her mouth, and slowly went deeper into the water realizing how bad that sounded.  "L-Lilly, you didn't see me and Arthor do anything...together right?"

"No!!"

Now she was getting a very suspicious look.

....

The Past Life

"Alright come on honey! You can do it!"

It didn't matter how many families I went into, each one, I only lasted until I was ten years old.  The first family I had was okay but I just couldn't seem to fit in supposedly, so I died from cancer.  "Now what is it Goddess? How many more families until you put me in the one you think is best?"

"I know this is very hard for you..."

Lilly's ears poked up, "hard?? Who says all of this won't poke me in the ass one day Goddess?"

"It probably will, but look, I am your Goddess and you just need to trust me."

"Trust you? I have died so many times that I lost count, and in those so many times I was reborn into families that loved me.  You chose well, I just don't understand why you choose to keep bouncing me every where."

"Princess Queria, I will find a home for you that is suitable."

"Suitable? Or just another home to be placed in then taken out."

"I promise I will find you a new home, that will be perfect for you to fit into."

"What? Fit into?"

"Yes, your next life, you will be a Princess again."

"Oh, how lovely."

"This woman has been trying to have kids for a very long time, you will find that she it worthy.  I'd at least like to see where this goes, maybe I'll give you twelve years instead of ten?"

"Who is going to want me? How many times are you going to keep doing this? Sooner or later I'm going to just stop feeling anything for these people that you keep putting me into as family."

"Princess, I'm sure you will stop feeling, but that's okay, we just need to find the right people."

....

So there I was, in the arms of my new Mother, only one parent.  First time for everything.

....

Bath Time

"Lilly, my dear if you think any harder I think you'd be shaking."

Looking back on all the past lifes, Lilly just didn't know what to feel anymore.  Claris still waited on the question that she had asked, did she know how babies were made.  Lilly stared at her for a moment, maybe this one time, this one life she thought, maybe this time she would tell someone her life story.

"I can't tell you, it's a secret Mommy."

The water started bubbling around Lilly, "did...you just fart?"

"Nooo."

"Are you sure?"

The water started changing colors, then she knew it wasn't Lilly.  "Come here."

There was a secret to the water that nobody knew about except Claris.  "Lilly, when you get older, there is something very important you must know about."

"What is it Mommy?"

She traced her daughters face, such innocence.  "My dear, we are living on a crab."

"A crabb??"

"A long time ago, my parents went to the of this world God, the God couldn't give them any land to live on, they were poor, tired, they had traveled miles to meet this God, because it was said, that there, would be freedom.  My people and my parents, then asked for a new land.  Then, the God went to the big crab, and asked for a favor.  The crab only had one problem with it, everyone who lived on top of the crab would have to go under the deep blue sea with him until the Summers ended."

She snuggled Lilly some more, "do you know what happened next?"

Lilly kept shaking her head, but then her Mother pointed down at her tail, "the God gifted us the abilities to move islands and oceans.  To breathe underwater, to live."

"Why?"

"Because, we were his people, and he wanted to protect us even though, we had done nothing for him.  Now, we must protect him."

"H-how?"

"We just be good, selfless, and we protect our all mighty crab."

Two eyes slowly came up out of the water, Lilly about peed herself.  She wasn't liking bath time anymore.  "This is Jungwoo."

The crab stared for some time at the child.  "You, I assume you are our new princess?"

Lilly raised an eyebrow, giving him that sassy look.  It made the crab chuckle to see that reaction.  "This is my daughter, Lilly.  We have found where she had been held captive, along with other girls."

"Hmm."

"The new recruits that keep coming to our land, they seem...less intrested in helping."

"Then you know what to do Claris."

"I must protect my people, not harm those who come seeking for help."

"Lilly had no Mother for a while Queen Claris.  Your parents should be coming soon, I noticed them swimming by a few moments ago."

"W-what??"

"They have come to discuss this certain situation."

"N-no we don't need-"

Two heads popped up from the water, "Mother, Father.." Jangwoo slowly went under.  The bath was indeed special.

"The child?"

"It is Lillith."

Lilly kept tight ahold of Claris.  "Oh don't be shy."

Maya picked little Lilly up and away from her Mother, at first Lilly was okay but then she started balling her eyes out because she didn't want that woman holding her.  "Oh.."

"She is just getting used to things Mother."

"Well we weren't here for her anyways.  We have come to dicuss the intruders."

"They haven't done anything wrong, some of them are really nice."

"We must protect-"

Claris took ahold of Lilly again, and Lilly calmed down.  "Although it wouldn't hurt to spend some time with our grandchild?"

Maya smiled at her husband before sitting closer to Claris.  "There is something special about this child.  Jangwoo said she is a child we must keep safe.  It's very important Claris."

"She isn't an IT, she is Lilly, okay? I don't know why she's that important, but she is still a child.."

They stared for a moment at Lilly while she calmly played with her Mother's hair, her feet returned and those tiny toes dug into her a little.  "Lilly, I think you should wash up."

Her eyes met Claris, and she gave her a small kiss on the cheek, "okay Mommy."

Just a simple okay? Now that had her very confused.  Although, Lilly was making her blush at how cute she was being.  A goop of shampoo dribbled onto her head, she shivered because of it, "Mommy, it's cold!"

"Why does she talk so quietly?"

"She...well..."

Once more, Lilly felt Claris trace her hand along the throat line, and it made her very angry, she smacked at her hand two times putting her, in her spot.  "That's not nice!"

"No."

"No what? I'm not going to hurt you."

She mumbled out another no before falling asleep.  Claris quickly washed her hair then took her to the bedroom, got her dressed, and under those blankets.  Claris tucked her in some more before getting into bed next to her and cuddling her close.

....

"Mommy," Lilly sat up and stared for a moment at the door.  Something was standing there, or someone.  "Lilly? Calm down, it's okay."

"What is it?"

"It's just a nightmare.  I cannot see it, you got to clear your thoughts dear."

This was no nightmare Lilly thought, she has had her share of those, "no Mommy I think you just can't see it."

Deathbell.

Lilly felt suddenly scared of the dark, she had never had this much fear.  Then the figure turned into someone who looked a lot like Claris, so Lilly got up as if hypnotyzed.  "Let's go play a game Princess."

The princess thing shot her down fast though, she scrambled back to the bed and before the shadow firgure could snatch Lilly's feet and drag her, Claris got ahold of her her, pulling her onto the bed.  "My dear, that is Deathbell.  A night demon, she will go away, but you must not fear her."

There was no way Lilly was going to calm down and not fear this ugly thing, it smelled of rotting corpse! Lilly let a shriek out when it's claw scratched at her neck, leaving a bloody scratch.  Claris held her tighter, "fear no more," she whispered into Lilly's ear, her eyes shut, and a night light flicked on to keep the demon away.  The strongest demon...Claris thought to herself, what indeed did this demon want? If not to scare her?

 ....

Claris could see it, looming over Lilly, the creature had not left.  "Why do you wish to scare her throughout the day?"

The demon didn't speak, but Lilly's arms were all cut up.  Her hair started turning white very slowly.  Something wasn't right with her.  Those tiny ears became pointy, and soon she looked like an acient elve from the past world.  "Lilly?"

Her tiny head popped up, those eyes, so crystal blue, "Mommy...I'm hungry."

....

As if nothing was out of the odinary, the tiny elve girl, that is Lilly, well she was just her usual self.  "What is that?"

"This is Lilly."

"B-but..."

There was no telling what the orcs would do if they found out Lilly was an elve from the great wars, her true identity was slipping.  "Mommy?"

Arthor and Claris stared at Lilly, she still had the freckles, but they had faded with her skin so now they were white and her skin was pale, she still looked like Claris, just different.  "Darling, I wish I knew why-"

She took one look in the mirror, and her eyes widened, "I'm back!"

"Huh?"

Lilly hopped up and down on a stool.  What happened last night again? Did she perhaps leave her mother's side and sneak past the demon? The gem around her neck kept glowing extremely bright.

"Lilly where did you get that?"

"No where..."

"Were you sneaking around the palace at night?"

Lilly held onto it, and she made a pouty face.  Claris couldn't think anything of it, how would she be able to get ahold of something so valuable, not only that, but something only Queens and Kings could touch? Lilly had put her magic into it some how, but Claris must have never seen this coming.  Her daughter was to be a next dignified Queen, and her destiny was already being played out in this world for her.  "Tell me how you got that necklace?"

Claris held Lilly's hand as they went through a secret chamber, Claris's necklace was still there, sitting on a pedstal.  There had never been more than one ruling of the Kingdoms in one place.  Lilly was indeed a special child.  Beautiful child.

"Can I see this necklace?"

At first she was hesitant to give it up, with good reason.  In every life she lived in, this necklace was with her, ever since her Mother Queen Queria had given it to her.  Lilly nodded at her though, giving her permission to remove it.  Once it was removed very gently off her, Claris put it on a pedstal.  There it revealed a bloody war.

.... The Bloody Battle ....

"Mama! Papa!"

An elve born with extrordinary gifts.

"Mama?"

The room reaked, slime splooshed from the ceiling and on down, the book shelfs were all tossed to one side of the room.  There near a desk, was Khan, Queria's Father.  "Papa?"

"What are you doing up??? My dear you are sick, you should be resting."

The dandelion lights flickered, but it couldn't hide the gashes, or the blood drooling off his arms and onto the floor.  "Your not safe here, where is your Mother!?"

"Mama?"

"Yes, go find your Mother."

"Y-you're hurt Papa."

"It's fine."

Queria stared at him before hearing a rumble of another explosion erupt outside the palace wall.  "Go find your Mother."

Her tiny feet sped, a couple times she tripped but she kept ahold of her dress in the front.  "Mama!"

The staff hit the floor, tiny fire emblems hissed at the cold.  Two Goblins fell to the floor, "Mama."

"What are you doing out here!? Why aren't you with the people!?"

Queen Queria didn't scold her that much, her ears twitched because she was irritated.  "My dear, one day you will be a great Queen, but today, you are a princess.  You must stay well hidden until all of this is over.  I don't need you breathing in any of these toxins, I have been able to hold back as much poison that I can."

Queria rubbed her arms, "Mama, it's okay, I know what to do Mama."

"N-no, you are not helping in any way.  Go be safe with our people."

Queen Queria leaned down and slipped a necklace into her hand, "one day, you will need this my dear.  One day, this necklace will save you, for it will give you pride, people will bow down before you, you will be their Queen.  Mama is going to be fine fighting alone."

The small girl let a long sigh out, frustrated that she couldn't help because of how sick she was, "my little light, in time, the war will end, and you will rule.  For now I need you to keep this safe for Mama."

"B-but..."

"No, do not but me.  We are done discussing this."

....

The Bloody Battle 2

Queen Queria rushed her child to the people that were hidden away, forever hidden away in the dark.  "Queen Quaris!" People's ears perked up when they seen her.  She revealed to her people the stone in the princesses hand, "my people, she has trained hard for several years since birth.  If we shall not come back, my daughter shall take our place."

Queria stood tall and proud for a moment, but her weakness made her falter.  "Mama..." a few coughs of blood made everyone think otherwise, but the gem she held in her hand, shined bright with colors, making people rethink it all.  A nurse swept up Queria, leading her to a bed to rest again, as the frightened people waiting along with their sick princess.

The light faded two times as the ceiling above cracked, one of the royals had been killed.  Queria couldn't sit and do nothing anymore, she felt this sudden anger over flow within her.  Nobody cried, or breathed in that moment their princess stood up.  The light blinked again, and that's when people started kneeling before their sick princess.

"Don't worry, I will save you all."

The blood kept pooling out of the corners of her mouth, it's not like she had any choice now.  Queria, noticed her parents bodies, "don't sleep..."

A couple nudges, then she stopped trying to wake them, their lights had faded.  Queria looked back at her people, they still were all down on the ground bowing down.  The crown rest next to her Mother's head.  The priest grabbed the crown and he asked the young girl to bow down.

As if it would hurt, some blood on it, her Mother's blood, forever it should stain her eyes though.  Queria got down on her knees as practiced, "Oyueesh lapristan keea."

Queria didn't hesitate, it was clear to what her new role to thie realm was.  Queen Qeria the 2cnd.  She stood before her people, as that priest placed the necklace around her neck, and handing her the staff of Leah.  "My people, don't fret, for I will protect you, our lands are no longer safe, they are no longer plenished with the fruits and veggies we once grew.  Please follow me."

Hundreds of elve's huddled close to another as they followed their princess.  As if like a bubble, nothing could harm the elve's.  Queria, the tiny ten year old, stood alone in this battle.

King Gruten stood near the very throne in which she could recall her parents sat in, but the giant himself radiating on nothing but black slime, had conjoined the two thrones, smashing it all into nothing but crumble.  Queria stared at this big nasty smelly, rotten, goblin.

Queria felt pain in that moment as if something hit her upset the head, but it was her weakness, she trembled.  Gruten realized that she was just a small puny kitten, with one squash, her kind would be dead, but when he got up and tried slamming his food down onto the 2cnd Queen, it blasted his foot away.

The room started to wreak of goblin, they all had been crawling up and down the walls, waiting for that barrier protecting the elve's to break.  Queria put all her strength into that barrier, what was left of her strength.  Queria lifted the staff, although quite heavy it made a very loud bang.  Just like a baby, she started hitting the floor some more, trying to find some way to make it work.

"You lack child!"

Queria shook her head, "Herkels!!" This time she slammed it, breaking the barrior.

The elve's found themselves all lying on the floor, along with the paralyzed tiny goblins.  Gruten just kackled at the young girl as she still stood.  The spell she had cast, was a spell that should have never been cast.  Although the little goblins were nothing to worry about, but her people lay frozen groaning on the ground.

"Fool."

Gruten kicked his leg back and tried kicking Queria across the room.  "Okeness gathusia..Loressel."

The young Queen smashed her staff into Gruten's big fat toe, and he stumbled back groaning in pain.  Queria was going to make this ugly smelly fat tubby pay for killing her people, and her parents, destroying the crops, taking their life stock.  Last she knew though, they would never escape him.

"Dawsa," she whispered.  The staff was useless, but holding it made Queria feel like she was strong enough to take on the responsibility without crumbling in front of her people.  Slightly the gem started charging up it's magic.

When the gem finally started getting fully charged, her eyes lit up.  "Dawsa Osaelas."

The only way to get rid of these enemies once and for all was to errase the elven race.  Queen Queria died that day, she sacrificed herself in front of her people, and in return, the lands were errassed of this evil, the race of the elve's would go missing for thousands of years to come, ancient ruins were left behind.  Queen Queria, the child that is now born in another life again as Princess Lilly.

....

Thoughtful

 "Mommy?"

Claris had been staring at the memories of that ancient necklace, she was reading it all.  The child who had hidden the civilization, was the child she had birthed.  The Queen never died, she had just became what was known in their realm, a Goddess, a Goddess who has suffered many times in many life's which is why, nobody could ever find the Goddess, she was a child born in different realms.

"Your hungry baby?"

Lilly nodded.  "Yes."

Her little voice echoed.  It now came to understanding of who Lilly was, but to Lilly, the gem did mean something, she just couldn't really remember what it was.  "My dear, I'm going to protect you."

"Huh?"

"Mommy isn't going to let you down."

Her hand tightened on Claris's hand.

....

"Arthor, I am sorry for making you wait so long."

"No need."

"I will accept your hand in marriage."

Arthor blinked at her a couple times.  "The ogres are starting to be a problem, and with you as my husban, I'm sure things will be just fine if we are together."

He peeked at Lilly whom was attached to his pant leg, "well Lilly? What do you think?"

"I'm hungry."

"Right! Oh my goodness, I'm sorry honey, I completely forgot."

Lilly was enjoying her life here, Claris could see it, but soon Lilly would have to be a Queen again, not any time soon, but when she gets older.  For now though...

"I want fishy."

"What?"

"I fish!"

Lilly smacked her hands together and made a fish with her hands and she preteneded to woosh around.  "Your going to hurt yourself if you keep making yourself dizzy Lilly."

"Nuh uh," Lilly argued back, but this time Claris couldn't hear her say anything.

....

Arthor once more fixed her food to look like a fish, and Lilly ate it as if it was going out of style.  Except, Lilly was never so much as tired of eating fish, one for breakfast, one fore lunch...dinner...it was just her favorite thing in the entire realm.

"Darling, I wish you'd stop."

Lilly looked up to see that her Mother hasn't eaten her food yet.  Lilly had been eating with her hands again, not to mention that Claris was raising a fish eating mermaid/elve.  It bothered Claris that she kept eating fish.

Claris took away the fish from her, leaving her with potatoes.  "Where did you hide them Lilly?"

For a moment, she stopped eating her non looking fish, "I don't know Mommy...I don't know."

Lilly didn't have her necklace, she couldn't go back and look at what she's missing, no matter how many times she tried looking back on her past she could never find the reason she did things, or where she had hidden the secret elves.

"It's okay sweets, I do not expect you too remember anything."

None of her food was touched, she refused to eat anymore, "it's okay Mommy, I will try."

"Try?"

Her tiny feet smacked on the floor, her silky dress flowed right on down with her.  Lilly found herself staring at her Gem.

"What are you doing honey? You need to eat."

"I am trying."

Claris reached for her small hand.  "Lilly, I do not need to know, the knowledge of the lost world should be kept hidden."

Princess Lilly shook her head.  "I must ask though, baby girl, who was the boy?"

Lilly's eyes widened, she would have never expected her to recognize that the little princess had her own little romance going.  Her cheeks bloomed, embarrassed of just recalling what the boy had looked like.  "I-I don't know."

Indeed she knew that the girl had just lied to her, but she just smiled and wouldn't say anymore.

....

"Mommy?"

The door was shut, the lights were off, Deathbell had been following Lilly all day long.  Lilly of course had been looking every where for her.  The scary looming creature just kept lerking.  With such urgency, Lilly screamed at the door before pushing in, "Mommy!" Well it was more of a mumble than a scream because of her voice being taken away.

The door opened, to find her in bed sleeping.  She went over and pawed at the blanket until finally her Mother turned and looked, "what..are you doing in here?"

That was a very odd question considering that Lilly sleeps in the same room with her.  "Mommy, I'm going to go and play with the crabs down near the mud."

"Huh?"

Before she could mind process what Lilly had said, those little feet were skittering away.  Struggling to find some release from that outfit, Lilly grabbed a stick and ripped the dress off.

Lilly had taken some strange books from the room that had held the gems in there, so she had decided to try and read them.  The sun basked at her skin for a while until for some odd reason, the sun disappeared.

She hadn't remembered how she got lost, but it had something to do with it getting very dark outside.

....

Tidy in a small box layed Lilly, whom was scared of the dark, also Deathbell had followed her.  Instead of scaring the child though, it made a path for her to see, clear as day, her foot prints were glowing.  Princess Lilly carried herself shamefully, she didn't know how she was going to explain why she was naked and had the books, or the very fact that she didn't come inside before the sun went down.  Thinking ahead of what to say was starting to make her head hurt.

She entrusted Deathbell to lead her, she wasn't looking scary anymore though, the dark hood of this demon started peeling as if it were a dead rose, then it exposed a beuatiful rose.  Well, her Goddess.  "W-what..."

"Lilly, there are things I must explain to you."

She held her hand as they walked together through the sleepy town, "you were meant to be here, I will no longer be able to guide you, or be your Goddess..this is it."

"This life?"

"Yes, this one.  You are back, and the best part of it all Princess Queria, your fate is soon to be yours."

"What?"

"Your life before you is empty, you get to live long.  I mean, the fate you choose is yours."

"M-mine?"

"Yes, but there is something I must warn you of.  Your people, it shall not be catagoried.  Everyone will bow down to you Lilly."

That started to confuse her.  The Gems showed strength of a ruling Queen or King, there were five Gems made in the realm, would that mean that Lilly was to gain all of them?

"I know you do not understand Queria.  You are destined for great things."

No more was said, the Goddess looked like a maid, and she now had her hand in Lilly's.  Queen Claris was panicking in her throne room.  Arthor was trying to consult her, but it wasn't working.  When the two came in, Lilly buck naked as the day she was born, Claris had calmed down and had a tiny stroke from her child going around naked.

"Where have you been!? Are those the books that I told you not to read!?"

Lilly couldn't recall when that was said, but she didn't want to have a, no it isn't, fight.  Lilly wrapped her arms around Claris, "Mommy, am back!"

Claris wrapped her long shaw around Lilly, covering the tiny naked girl.  "Never do that again!"

Still, no arguments.  Queen Claris picked her up and held her close.  "I gotta go.."

"Go where?"

"Potty."

Her tiny voice was like an echo.

....

Lilly stared at her Mother as she scrubbed at the dirt coated along her skin from the mud outside.  Claris softly brushed the crusty mud out of her hair, "where were you?"

Not stern, but good enough to get an answer right away out of Lilly.  "I was playing with the crabs, I asked you Mommy, then I played."

Even though this child had been born several times, she was still a child.  It made Claris wonder how many times she had died just to get back to this realm and what ages?

The childish state though, it was obvious that she was most likely a child.  "Lilly, do you remember anything about your past life? Don't you miss-"

Lilly shook her head, "no."

Thinking back to the old stories, she could recall that Lilly's parents had died, leaving her at a young age to defend the kingdom.  The old tongue that used to be used was no longer, life went on after the elve's parished.

"You did a good job baby girl."

Those eyes, they looked so joyful when she said that.  "I do good."

"That's right.  I'm sure your past...parents would have been proud also.  But I do not intend on doing the same to you.."

"Huh?"

"Nothing.."

Claris wouldn't even dare leave Lilly, it was her and all, the kingdom would come second, if she found a way to protect everyone she would, but things don't always work out the way that things are planned.

Lilly snatched the sponge and started smacking it at Claris, getting her attention again.  Lilly was worried that she had blanked again.  "I'm here, don't worry," with that being said, she grabbed back the sponge.  "Now, I am very, very, upset that you still went out, what did you even eat??"

"Mud!"

"W-what?"

"I ate mud."

"Ohh..how tasty."

"Crab too!"

"I thought you said.."

"Well Mommy, I was playing, I wasn't lying, but then I get hungry."

"Get?"

She innocently nodded, her eyes looking so droopy.  "I see..and how did you eat them?"

Very quietly she just opened her mouth and snapped it shut.  "Y-you ate them while they were alive!?"

Claris was impressed that she ate something that didn't look like a fish.  Arthor opened the door a tad, "Queen Claris, may I join?"

"As long, you are wearing something to cover yourself from my child."

He stepped in with a bath towel around his waist, she gave him a serious look considering how he had absolutely nothing on.  "You said I had to have something covering me? I am wearing a towel."

"I see this."

....

Lilly couldn't wait for her life to start!
