Red Eyes

"Ahana! Where are you!?"

I hid in the bathroom.  Khan, my husband, is just very upset right now, I kind of dumped something on his suit.  I turned fourteen years.  Immortal...and it sucks.  My mother told me to be a good girl, and stay in this abandoned castle, but that was...a while ago.  It got cold, and I didn't want to stay.

My husband is a natural food source though, at least when he's nice he lets me feed.  I was about five when she left me, I'd say she's probably either killed by humans, or just didn't care where I went to afterwards, I got past Father's barrier and I left.  This was it for me though, as big I mean.  5'2.

I have very interesting hair, super white, and my eyes are pink. I am just the most strangest creature, or so I was told when I was little.  My thirst for blood was so great, that my parents locked me away.  When I got free, I met this boy, and we got along so nice, he's my best friend, and husband, as of a month ago.

He caught me, I was sitting on the bathtub side.  His eyes were red...I pressed my finger to my lip.  "Khan...what happened to your eyes?" I hugged tightly onto his t-shirt that I had on.  His silence actually scared me.  "Ahana, what are you wearing?"

This wasn't my husband speaking.  They couldn't possibly found me.  I stared into his eyes, then I smacked his cheek a little.  "Khan! Snap out of it!"

"You sure have grown the last I've seen you, your mother has been worried sick."

I knocked him out cold.  A wig can't even hide my hair.  I grabbed onto Khan before he could fall.  "I am so sorry.  We must go now."

I felt bad, but I quickly turned him to a pin, then started walking to the door, but it's still daylight.  I sighed.  By the time the sun dips down, they should be here.  Through the tunnels! I hurried.  The time went so fast.  How did they get ahold of him?? My poor love.

My feet hit the ground, I was quickly running through the forest.  How long have I been running from them? It seems like it's been to long.  I've tried many things in this world, spent so many days living in this life, and I absolutely love it.  Just as much as I love Khan.  Childish I am, but I won't ever go with them again, let them trick me into going back.

I tapped the pin and he poofed.  I hugged onto him so tight, "Khan! Khan!"

"Woah...what...where are we?"

"In a forest..."

Ahana bit her lip a little.  "Why are we in the forest Ahana?"

"N-o-no reason."

"Don't lie."

"I'm not."

I heard a snap and I turned fast.  "Ohhh..." I whined a little.  I wrapped my arms around him.  "Ahana!"

He tried ripping me off him because I was holding on to tight.  Mommy showed up, her hair as curly and white as ever, and Father off to the side.  "Ahana! It's time you come back home!"

"No!" I whined more.  "Honey, you can't be in this world..."

"I don't want to go back!" Khan then wrapped his arms around me, and that angered Father.  "Mortal, you dare stand in my way?"

"Ahana is my wife."

"You...devil!"

Mommy went first then Father, and I swung him around.  "I'm sorry Khan!"

"N-n-no p-p-p-problem!"

"Ahana! Stop waving him around!"

Mommy tried capturing him, but I swung him until I turned him back into my pin.  "What..."

They stared at the pin on my sweater.  "He's not real..."

I nodded, "yes he is!"

"No baby girl, how long have you been with this friend?"

I flipped her off, "I can have as many husbands as I want!"

"Husband...no I don't think so.  You have been using spells...who's blood have you been drinking."

"I'm not a monster!" I tossed a stick at them.  I say stick, when it's actually a branch.  "You locked me away! Your the monsters!"

"Ahana! How did you get through that barrier!?"

I didn't look them in the eyes, otherwise they'd read my thoughts.  "Come back darkling-"

"No! I like it out here!" I blew my breath into the air, make the wind pick up and boil into gas.  "I won't go back!"

"Fine! Then we give you no other choice but to force you back!"

"No!" I tapped the ground making a perfect hole.  Down I went and through the ground I burried right on through the ground, and to my feeding barn.  I have actually been living in an abandoned barn.  I have been feeding on cows around the area.  My eyes stared into this bottle.  Before I could get dressed into somethiing, I heard my tunnels being invaded.  I turned and stared at them, I had a collection of bottles surrounding me.  "What...have you done?"

They don't understand my value.  "How many..."

"Like I said! I didn't hurt anyone!" Mommy tipped the bottle to her nose, it wasn't human blood.  "Cow? You've been living off from this? No wonder your abilites seemed off."

"Shut up!"

"I'm not making fun of you Ahana..."

"Yes you are! Your just like the rest of them!" They put me in this schooling, but it seemed like I was in there for eternity.  I was made fun of a lot.  "This is not good for you Ahana."

The next bottle, I wish she didn't pick up.  Her eyes glued to me.  "Who's is this?"

"My husbands," I rolled my eyes at them.  "There is no possible way!" Father argued.  "Yes there is...summoning a blood celled human...I can drink as much as I want, and drink as much as cow I want!"

"You really spent to long with these humans."

"No I haven't! I'm not even alone anymore! Khan has his own personality! He was reborn into this world as a feastling for me! No thanks to you two! Now leave my den!"

"Your so thin my child, when was the last time you eaten?"

"What's it to you!? It's not like you care about me! Your hearts don't even beat!"

"Ahana, come back to the palace, or we will send people to do it for us."

"Course, not surprising that you'd say that, but if you consider this as giving up-"

"Don't waste your breathe Ahana, me and your Father know you have no more magic to display."

"I'm not going back!" I tapped the floor twice and they fell back into the tunnel.  "Really!? This is how you want to play!?"

"I don't play! I just want to get dressed, and it's perverted for you two to be in the same room with me while I'm practically naked!" I put my cute little outfit on, pajamas, then I went over to my bed and layed down.  "What are you-"

"Sun will be up soon..."

"Ahana, you must come home, this shack won't keep you safe from the sunlight."

"No thanks, a little sun won't hurt."  My pottles of blood started boiling.  "Ahana! Get up right now!"

"You aren't my boss!"

"You spoiled girl!"

"Spoiled!? What right do you have to say that!?"

Father stayed silent, as the two of us argued.  "I hate you! I'm never going back to that miserable castle!"

Kaya growled then started casting a spell on Ahana, but then Ahana started fighting back.  "Kaya! Ahana! Enough!"

Instantly they withdrew their magic.  "I'm not going back!" I stuck my tongue out, Onkar made me grab ahold of my tongue though and hold it.  "You obviously have managed to be on your own around the human kind, for quite a bit.  None the less, you are to come home."

"I-I don't want to..." I kept myself from crying.  I didn't want to sit at a table alone again, or be in that dark place.  "This is just for your own good Ahana."

Mommy didn't agree with Father, she never did, but she let him send me away just to keep their place as highest vampires.  He tossed a coin up, "heads or tails?"

I hated this game, I shook my head no.  "I ain't playing no more games!"

"You like games."

"No I don't," I hugged myself.  "Your a monster Ahana..."

I looked around, there has been this person speaking in my ear.  "Go away!"

"Ahana who are you talking to?"

"You can't hear her?"

"Shame on you Ahana.  You shouldn't be so selfish, maybe we should go back, maybe we should just give up Ahana."

"No...no," I felt my eyes changing some how.  "Ahana?"

"No.  There is no Ahana here..." I tapped my head.  "My name is KonKon."

"KonKon?"

"Uh-huh...and I'm thirsty, very thirsty."

"Right, how about we go home KonKon?"

"The fun hasn't started Daddy.  Are you really going to just let the hunt go?"

"The hunt?"

"Haven't you seen it? look outside.  Two little girls, walking in the field, one falls down and twists their neck.  The other girl weeps, then she falls into a hole, and waits in despair."

They stared at KonKon as she started singing this little song, her pink eyes looked so dead now.  Ahana's parents heard it, a loud scream.  "Oh no, there we go, one down, another to go."

"KonKon, lets go home."

"Go home? Where is home?"

"The caslte."

"Hmm...I like the castle," I continued to hear the screaming, "but I love pain a lot more.  Humans deserve to die, maybe one of those girls want to be my friends."

KonKon stepped off her bed, and those pajamas dissolved fast.  A black dress took its place, revealing cruel scars on her chest and back.  The stockings went up to her knees, and the black heels clicked as she walked.  Very hesitantly.  Slowly her hand met with Kaya's.  "Would you help me?"

"Help...you how?"

Kaya stared at some of the cuts, "I'll go with you, but first I want these two girls to be my friends.  I'd hate for their blood to...go to waste."

"Ahan- KonKon, how long have you been taking over Ahana's mind?"

"Ahana doesn't exist! What have I told you!?"

The girl sounded different, spoiled.  "Now, follow me!"

"I-"

"I said follow!" I walked right out, it wasn't day time yet.  Surprising.  Their was crying from two different areas.  "Chose Daddy, chose who I'm going to spend the rest of my life with."

"No, this is wrong."

"The sun will come up soon, tiktok, tiktok."

"KonKon, please just think about their parents."

"Ahana didn't have parents, what's the difference between then, and now? They are just simple humans, pathetic space, and you would defy me this right?"

"Right? None of this is right!"

"Aww, are you getting angry Mommy? Did I hurt your feelings? I hope not, Ahana would be very disappointed in me if I did.  She still is hurting from these creatures, and she still wants her parents, but that's just not going to happen, is it? Your trully going to let this side of her decay right? Let Ahana die, and replace her with me.  That way we can all be happy."

Bloody Truth

 "This one, or this one!?"

KonKon jumped to one body, then to the next.  "Time is not with us darlings.  Chose wisely.  Tiktok, tiktok."

"KonKon, it's almost daylight!"

"Well chose!"

"Both!"

"Both?" I sighed.  We could hear their mother's calling out.  "Your right, both will do, mercy should work on them.  I hope their new families support blood thirsty demons."

KonKon bent down and looked into the darkness, the hole was so wide.  "Be right back..." she taunted.  The princess of darkness left them sitting at the top, then returned with the little girl looking super drowsy.  "Now, the next girl?"

"What are you waiting for Ahana!?"

"What's my name?"

"KonKon...sweetheart, look at me, we need to get out of the light before we turn to ash."

"Do I look like a sweetheart!? Who the hell do you think you are?"

"Woah, okay-"

"This is my game!"

"I thought you didn't like-"

"Ahana doesn't like games, not since the humans tried playing with her, they used her like a rag doll, that's when I finally got to come out and play.  Their drugs they kept using on Ahana finally wore off, and then, I got high off their blood," I grabbed a piece of grass.  "Now tend to this poor girl, I will go, and save the other misfortunite creature."

"I don't think that is Ahana anymore Kaya."

KonKon smirked as she went and saved the other girl.  There was a slither of daylight rushing towards them, Kaya and Onkar ran fast with the little girl.  The girl limped and tried keeping up, but she cried out so loud for her mother.  That small girl with the broken neck, stared into KonKon's eyes.  "You will die if I don't help you."

It looked as if the tiny girl was straining to say something, but she just couldn't.  "It's okay, I'll help you," KonKon heard Onkar yelling, but she didn't pay no attention.  Rays of light were beaming down onto the two girls.  "Listen to me, you are really hurt and it's honestly my fault, I'll help you, but you can never go home to your family you must stay away from them."

A small trickle left her eye, how could I do this!? No that was Ahana speaking inside the head.  "Shut it Ahana!"

The sunlight wasn't doing anything to KonKon.  The yelling of those parents got close, until finally they caught the glimpse of their disgusting spawn.  They stared at me, "who are you!?"

"I'm KonKon," I held my hand out but nobody shook it, "aww...that's to bad."

"What are you?"

My smile accidently gave away my fangs, I stopped smiling then crossed my arms.  "What does it look like? A child, that's what I am."

"You look like a teen."

The woman in red crouched down to her little girl and started crying.  "Listen to me red creature, I will save your daughter, but in return, she must stay with me for eternity."

"What?"

"I am KonKon, Princess of Darkness, and I was just playing a little game with your children, but it seems they got hurt while I went away for a bit."

"What kind of monster are you!?"

"You have nineteen seconds to say yes, or no, if you say no, I have no other choice but to let your daughter die, but if you say yes, then you are agreeing to a binding that will keep your daughter alive for several years to come, she won't age, won't die, unless she comes into contact with sunlight, but I promise I'll take care of her."

"Your a vampire..."

"Red blooded, cold hearted, at your service!"

"B-u-but-"

"Seventeen..."

"She's my daughter!"

"Fourteen...tiktok, tiktok."

"Yes! Fine!"

I smiled the slowly went over and placed my lips on her throat.  Her eyes shut fast and she stopped breathing, her body began to grow cold like mine.  "The process is starting, thank you for playing my game."

KonKon then watched as her new friend lifted up to her feet, perfectly fine.  "Now, will one of you darlings like to give this new vampire a drink?" Her mother frowned.  "You said you'd help her! Not turn her into one of you!"

"No, I'm afraid you misunderstood, I said she'd spend eternity with me," she looked worriedly at her mother.  "Mommy..."

"Slowly the day will turn, and more vampires will lurk about, these other vampires will feed on other vampires, but with me, your child shall be safe...and my friend for eternity.  She cannot ever see you-"

"I'd like to be whatever she is!"

"You would sacrifice yourself, just to be with her?" I was confused now.  "Of course I would!"

"Oh," I looked down at my feet.  "You like games?"

"Yes, but only my games."

"Well here is a game, you turn me into a vampire, and I show you, how to play some of my games."

KonKon turned and looked at Kaya and Onkar.  They were freaked out.  "Okay, but you gotta promise it will be fun," KonKon had this cute look on her face.  Games always made KonKon happy.  "I promise."

The little girl clung to her mother as KonKon approached her.  "You will be a good vampire?" She questioned.  "You will promise to serve under the world of Darkness? You will serve my Father forever?" She blinked when KonKon said that.  "Serve?"

"Yes, it means you will follow our ways of the kingdom.  You can live as you are, but if you ever want to see daylight again, then you have no other choice but to kill another vampire, and I mean my kind, there are stages in which we work.  There are the top rules, and the underdogs, you would be an underdog, a civil vampire."

"Right..."

She took a look at her daughter.  "Do you have a husband?"

"No...we divorced."

"Well that's good, I'm guessing you don't see much of this little one then?" She just nodded.  "If it makes you feel any better, Ahana spent fourteen years alone, abandoned by her parents."

"Who...is Ahana??"

"An old pastling, another side of me, she is weaker, and doesn't like games.  KonKon likes playing games though.  Me and Ahana talked frequently when we were alone, playing hiding go seak was hard though."

"I bet.  It sounds actually pretty lonely KonKon."

I smiled at the lady, "I like you," I then payed attention to the woman that had really black hair and eyes so purple, "witch, you understand that I have your daughter?"

"Of course..."

"You also understand how big of an oppurtunity this is to be turned into a vampire?" Her eyes stayed glued to her little girl being held by Mommy.  "Do...you wish to fight for her? Or give her up? Because I really need my friends."

"Friends? You can't force them to be friends with you."

"Yes I can.  I can have anything I please." My eyes started blinking fast, Ahana must want to come out and play, she won't like the sunlight though.  "Ahana! Your not coming out to play!" I stomped my foot.  One stride and my lips were sealed onto her throat, depening my red thickened bloody eyes.  It felt off, something was wrong with her blood.  "You, are sick."

The woman did't disagree, but she did stand up.  Her eyes flickered and she let this howl out.  I was now grabbing the little girls hand.  "Want to play a game?"

"N-o-no."

"I said, play a game!"

"I don't want to KonKon!"

"But...I do...so you have to."

"Mommy!"

Her mother fell right on over, the witch stared at me.  "I want my child back princess of Darkness, I don't wish anyone harm, just please give her back."

"I saved her, it's my game! To get her back! You have to follow the rules!"

"What rules?"

"Never disobay me."

"What?"

"You all are now mine..." I waved my hand making the crying girl and mother disappear to my realm of chaos.  "This is the most cruel game KonKon, forcing-"

"I didn't force anyone to do anything, they made their choice, pretty wisely, now, chose how your fate is going to go Witch, or else your daughter is going to have an eternity to play with me."

"Your possesed princess.  I can sense this darkness in you, when we met the first time, this wasn't like you, you were so kind and shy-"

"That is Ahana! Not KonKon! I am KonKon! This is me! Now get down on your knees Witch!" My hand smacked to the ground forcing her to her knees.  "You are being the monster, that everyone thought you were KonKon, please Ahana! I beg of you! Come out!"

Was she trying to use magic on me? To force some random thing out of me? No, I wasn't going to let her just take me away from Ahana, Ahana needs me, she's worthless without me.  "Ahana doesn't want to play!" I screamed at her, just screaming made her nose and ear start drooping with blood.  "I am KonKon!"

"No! You are Ahana! Deep down you know this is wrong! What you did to Alex's child then her! What are you planning on doing with Abby, KonKon!?"

My sharp tooth sank into my lip, and my hands started shaking, "she's going to be my friend for eternity Lila, and she's going to be the most powerful witch of all time, the both of us would be able to do wonders."

"This was it? This is what you wanted!? To be like your parents!?"

"My parents? Didn't I tell you? Ahana's parents abandoned her, they are nothing.  They have a title, I have a name to protect, now are you ready to play round number two?"

"Round two!?"

"Yes, it's where I blow this whistle right here, and if you can't spot all the bunnies in the field, then I win and get your daughter as a prize."

"Now what if I win?"

"If you win, you get to walk away."

"With, Abby."

"No, silly...not with Abby."

"Then I'm not playing."

KonKon started crying and rubbing her eyes.  The sky got very dark, "you will play with me!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Stop being childish! You are how old!?"

KonKon then plopped down like a baby and started balling her eyes out.  This gave her parents a chance to come into the rain and switch daughters.  "KonKon! Come home baby girl, if you do, I promise we will play."

KonKon looked up at her parents.  "Promise?"

"Yes-"

"Pinky promise!?" Her tiny finger plucked up in her face almost.  Her mother sealed the pinky promise, and with that promise, it poofed up like a bat.  "You can't break this promise Mommy, I hope you know what your getting yourself into."

The Waking

Drums pounded in my head.  "What have you done KonKon?"

"I saved you Ahana."

I woke up sweating so badly.  I was sleeping in my mother's den, the walls were so bloody...what did KonKon do? Mother's lair was never like this.  Never this scary, this is where she left me the last time.  "Kaya," I looked around, she was no where to be seen.  Did I kill her? I smiled a little...nope she was just downstairs, eating in my miserable spot.  "Why are you sitting in my spot!?"

"What? KonKon?"

"No, not KonKon, KonKon needs to live in someone else's body!"

"I made my promise to KonKon, that I'd play games with her.  Now don't get jealous."

"Why would I get jealous, KonKon is a childish demon that posses the most depressing spirits."

"You are not a spirit."

"No, your right, but I'm the most depressing living thing, which causes this certain spirit to thrive."

I grabbed an apple that gooshed to thick black goo.  "I hate this world!"

"KonKon thinks it's funny."

"Well great! Why didn't you birth the demon child!?"

"You are the demon child.  This spirit...it's not a demon that possesed you, I hate to tell you this, but KonKon, is you hun."

"Don't call me hun! Who the fuck do you think you are calling me hun!?"

"You act just like her Ahana."

"So what? She isn't apart of me, at all, not one bit.  KonKon is a child, she doesn't understand this world, if only I escaped you faster, then this would have never happened."

"Never happened?"

"KonKon is the child, that you left, Ahana is me, who I became after I was abandoned in this dark caslte.  The sun is lovely-"

"KonKon told me about why you hate humans so much."

I tensed up.  "She told me that you-"

"Shut up," just one look at her, and she pressed her lips together.  "You made me this way! I should have killed you and Onkar when I had the chance! So when you sleep during the day! Just remember what I wish for you! Just remember how badly I want to stick garlic down your throat! Better lock your damn door tonight, because when the time comes, I will find a way to kill you, I don't care how long it takes, I got out once, I'll do it again."

"KonKon shared a lovely story about you getting out...I'm afraid it just won't be possible."

"I hate you!" My hands slammed onto the table.  It bothered her so much, that flinch that she had, I smiled.  "That's right, you did make a promise, a promise in which you only made with KonKon, so she can kiss your ass, but I will always hold it over your head, it will thrill me to see you stabbed apon a knife, to see the pain in your eyes, then Onkar will be next.  I thought taking this out on the humans would be a nicer way to go, but you see hun, I'm stuck here with you."

Ahana smiled in the most unsettling way.  Kaya watched as her devil of a child walked out.  "Where are you heading!?"

"I'm going to find another way out of this hell!"

One hit, two hits...two hours later...

It wasn't good enough, no matter what I did, I needed more magic! The locket on my neck twirled I can't use this not yet.  Just a little time to go.  I'll be stronger when the next full moon appears.  I tucked that locket back behind my shirt.  That witch, what have I done to her little girl? It's coming back to me.  My head started feeling a little dizzy.  "KonKon wants to play again."

"No KonKon! It's Ahana day!"

"Mommy is watching, Mommy wants to play."

"No she doesn't KonKon! Now leave me alone!"

"Your going to starve yourself Ahana."

"Shut up KonKon!"

"Mommy! Ahana won't let me play!"

I latched onto the locket and ripped it off, "I can't live with you inside my head anymore!" I guess two years, would have to do.  I tapped my forehead and then my chest.  "Out KonKon, release me from this grasp, release me from this joy, I release you with what little strengh I carry, for a monster cannot carry you any further." I then made my mind blank, and that was it.

"Mommy!"

Konkon jumoed right on out, she took the good, and what was left of me, was this un normal look, I mean, now I was the one with black hair like my mother, and my eyes a dark red.  The little playful brat, my white hair and pink eyes.  She hugged her so fast while I just stared.  My willingness to feel was gone.  I'm no longer KonKon, and it felt nice.  I just felt hurt though.  Finally I stood up.  My hand pressed onto the sheild keeping me in, but I went right through it!

"Ahana!"

"KonKon...you have KonKon now."

I looked back but all I could see was a forest.  "You have what you want.  I have what I want," I started on my way.  "KonKon wants to play."

"Go play with your father KonKon, I have to get the other side of you."

"You'll never find her.  She's playing my game also."

"What...game KonKon?"

"Life, it doesn't go how we want it.  You see, Ahana is in love, with a boy.  KonKon wanted to help her, but she put something on that a witch gave her, Ahana is no longer princess, and I no longer Ahana-"

"A human boy!?"

"No Mommy, she didn't fall in love with a human.  Worse, she fell for a Spiritual man, that casts demons and monsters away.  Ahana is pregnant with his child, she was so eager to leave this place, got hurt, then fell in love, then got pregnant.  The next darkling, is strong, and it's making Ahana weak.  Ahana can't feed, the baby will die, it will kill her, and the baby.  Ahana is fine though, she got rid of me, and her emotions will stable in time, and so will mine.  I will be the daughter that you never had."

Or so KonKon thought.  KonKon had half the strength of Ahana which made her look weak in the eyes of her parents, but yet she was marked as the true vampire air to the throne.

While KonKon took my place, I went off.  I didn't know how long my Mother was watching me.  I only fed on cows.  The grass around me kept decaying, and then finally the full moon came around.  My lover came, and he took me back to his family where they started doing chants around me trying to repair this weakness.  "How are you feeling today Ahana?"

"I'm fine.  I just am really tired." His kissed always made me feel something, but now, I feel nothing, it looks like KonKon was the reason I loved him.  It was just once a month I seen him and this day was supposed to be special.

A special night, where we sit and watch the stars, I haven't told him yet...that's how special I needed this night to be, "Nolan, why do you keep bringing me home?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, to your family..."

"Because.  I want to."

"No it's not because you want to."

"When am I going to meet your parents?"

"I...never, they are dead, the sun burned them up a very long time ago," his bright blue eyes stared into mine.  "That's to bad, that just leaves you, doesn't it?"

"Yes," I felt him nibble at my ear, it kind of made me giggle.  "Tell me Ahana, my mother gave you the locket, you seperated from that lunatic.  What are you going to do now?"

Nolan was making my passion burn, and my desire explode.  "Fuck me," with that I pushed him back and sat right on him.  "Where did this come from?"

"I-I don't know, maybe this is something I feel like doing right now! Maybe because you only see me once a month!" He rolled us, now he was the one on top.  "Your the most strangest woman I've ever met."

"Just shut up-"

"Ahana?"

We both looked up, KonKon was staring at me, along with my parents.  "Come with me Ahana!"

Nolan lifted me up off the grass.  Our breathing pretty fast.  "Damn you KonKon, what the hell are you doing bringing them here!?"

"What the hell are you doing with this man!?"

I stared at Kaya, "who are you?" I played it off, cleared my thoughts.  "Ahana, when were you going to tell us-"

KonKon placed her hand over her mouth.  "Ahana hasn't said a single word to him."

My eyes turned over to Nolan's.  "I only get one day with you." Nolan didn't smile, in fact he looked sad also.  "I'd love to spend more, but you always have to return.  It's not fair my love," I pressed my forehead onto his.  "How long have I been waiting for you to embrace me Nolan? To many nights to count, and you know this, I'm going to live for a thousand years, and more to come, and so will you.  You will watch over me when the night falls, and when the morning breaks, you disappear."

KonKon stared at Ahana, KonKon was just a child, this wasn't anything she'd understand.  "It doesn't matter how wrong this is Nolan, because no matter what, I can't seem to fucking die, I've tried everything.  You tried everything.  My heart yearns for love, love that I am starting to warm up to again.  Your warmth.  You live and breathe, and yet, I'm already dead.  Far apart you keep on going, for how long must I wait? How long can you dispair with me? How many lonely nights should I spend without something so living in my cold blooded life?"

KonKon placed her hand on Ahana's shoulder.  "Ahana...no more games."

"I never liked games you little brat, now stop ruining my moment," she rolled her eyes.  "It's my moment to!"

"If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be in this mess!"

"Alright, that's enough," Onkar chipped in.  Ahana looked back to Nolan.  "I love you so much." Nolan smiled.  Just a warm sootheing grin.  "I love you to, and I don't know what the future holds for us Ahana...we just need to wait."

"Wait how long? I'm pregnant Nolan, look at me.  I'm a sobbing mess, my boobs are really sore, and I crave something that only you can give."

"Darling...I wish I could be here for you, but being a God of the stars, it means-"

"Responsibility," I nodded.  "What about me then? Is this the future of my child? I can feel every bone in me ache, and every emotion fade.  My lust only grows, and my heart only pains more.  Your mother told me my fate," I placed my hand on his warm cheek.  "I have accepted it, but for now I want to spend every last moment with you.  You make me feel alive, like I have something to look forwards to every single day...yet your so far when I need you near."

KonKon's eyes were now on the tree line.  "For I have wasted my breathe on nothing but nonsense?"

Stars

My eyes stared at Nolan, as once again, he drifted away from me, as if he became liquified.  "Fine," I sighed.  "Ahana, want to play a game?"

KonKon tugged at Ahana's hand.  "No Kon, I just want to go back...back before you even existed," I turned and looked her in those cold eyes.  "You and your dumb feelings, you had some nerve KonKon!"

"Don't blame this on me! It was your fault also!"

"What are you two arguing about?" Onkar grumbled.  "KonKon fell in love with Nolan, God of the stars, but then he broke her heart, and while I was asleep, KonKon took over and made me have sex with Nolan," they all blinked at me.  Kon started nervously laughing.  "I would never..."

"Look what you made me KonKon, a miserable woman, and a single mother, you don't think about the consequences before confronting your actions!"

"Do to!"

I hit her hard across the face, and I felt it also it burned like hell.  "How dare you! You messed with my head KonKon! You may be some part of me! But your cruel! Not once did you care about Nolan or my feelings! So don't tell me that you take responsibility for this bullshit!" No matter how angry I was, she understood what was bothering me so much.  "Split, then sacrifice."

My lips thinned in disappointment, "I think it's about time you stopped playing those dumb games." I have realized, Nolan never answered my question.  What will happen when this child is born? For what future does my baby hold.  "You care a lot about that boy?"

Kaya was trying to understand.  "Love, I love this man." Ahana stood and stared at the sky, until the sun was finally up, and she could no longer stare at what she yearned for the most.  "Mommy said lets go!"

KonKon pulled at my hand.  "No.  I will not.  I must go to her."

"Her? Who?"

"The witch, I shall meet you near the river of Sorrow KonKon, come alone, we must chat."

"Okie dokie!"

"KonKon-"

"Right...no more childish games, or acts..."

I know it's to hard for KonKon, she can't even do things on purpose, when she does things, she's to childish to know that it's not good.  So I made my way forwards after fixing my dress, and pulling my hair up.  People strode around wearing these fancy hairstyles all the time, then these kemonos, so I at least try and fit in.  Lila stood awaiting, her hand waving around so fast, and such a big white friendly smile.

"Tell me my little one, how was last night?"

It was like several bolders hit me on the head.  "L-l-last night???"

"Yes, I mean, you and my handsome boy going off together."

Her eyes beamed into mine, and I'm the one who's supposed to be more convincing.  "We had a good time.  My parents decided to drop by though."

"Oh? So Nolan finally got to meet them?"

"Course not." I think a bolder just hit her to, because now her eyes are twitching.  "How is Abby by the way?"

"She's doing just fine hun, I'm surprised you didn't ask last night."

"l had a lot...on my mind."

"I understand."

We sat there sipping tea, it was just too quiet, and absolutely awkward.  "Uh so maybe we should find something to chat about?"

"That would make this moody cloud drift off from us...that would be nice."

Chirp*...Chirp*

"Right...what to talk about?"

"How is the baby?"

"She is fine Lila.  Speaking of the baby.  I told Nolan last night."

"How did he take it?"

"Well he didn't.  It was more of that casual smile that he always makes, then he didn't even tell me what happens after this baby is born, and where we go next."

Lila slightly bowed her head down.  Did she fall asleep? "When are you going to face it Ahana?"

"I want to look forwards Lila, not backwards, though my future carries such a burden."

"Burden or not, how can you live with this?"

"How?" I took one last sip of tea before standing.  "I must go now, I'm meeting someone."

"Yes, don't make that evil twin of yours wait any longer."

She can see the future, but she can't read lips, or hear the words of those who speak.  "Thank you for the brunch Lila, I will come by another time darling."

"Maybe me and Abby could go and pick barries, then we could bake a pie when you come by next?"

"That sounds lovely Lila," I patted Abby's tiny head.  Abby grabbed ahold of my leg again...

"Don't go."

"Abby, let go of you sister."

"No!"

"Abby! I'm going to count to three!"

That's when I started feeling little ants crawling up my legs.  Abby must have been playing in the ants nest again.  "Looks like you have your hand full Lila.  I wish you both good luck."

"No hun, we wish you good luck."

With that Abby let me go.  I got to the river and peeled everything off.  KonKon was already sitting in the bath water.  "To get rid of any sadness that's left...I don't know why I have to get in the water Ahana, it's not like I'm sad."

No, but I was, and badly hurt.  "You can leave if you want."

"N-no, it's fine."

As soon as my toe touched the water, dark spirits started sworming where my toe touched.  "Wow, they must be really hungry for some Ahana-"

"I said no more games, or jokes."

"No, you said no more games, you never said anything about jokes Ahana."

"Fine, you win this time."

"Great! Victory is finally mine!"

A red flag raised above her head, I waved it off turning it into smoke, killing her dream of over thinking me.  "That was mean...I mean...just plain mean."

"KonKon, after the child is born you must keep her safe."

"Safe?"

"Yes.  It is very important that you do this for me."

"It's a girl?"

"That's not important right now Kon.  This child is going to need support, and I need you to be there for her KonKon.  For we share the same blood."

"Yes, but now we are two different.  Our lives have been altered Ahana."

"KonKon, I don't know how far I can go with this child.  Promise me that you will take her."

"I...can't."

"You must, right now you defy the burdening truth."

"Ahana, I know the future doesn't look well for us, but what if we switch places again? The locket will have enough energy for the two of us to switch, that way you don't have to suffor through anymore pain Ahana."

"It is my share KonKon.  Your the perfect child for my deceased parents.  Something that they have wanted for a while.  Although it would still thrill me to see a cross stabbed into their hearts, but now I am free, and only have so much time before I'm trapped."

"Ahana, there is a way we could fix this."

"KonKon, because of you, I'm pregnant, and with a man who's potential is greater than my own.  This baby means the worlds to me KonKon.  I invented you, and you invented me.  I'm just more sane."

"What if I can't do it Ahana? Then what?"

Lightly I swiveled my hand around, playing with the dark spirits that kept nibling my pains away.  "You can.  Just trust yourself KonKon, I have faith."

"You know, you've became such a priest."

"No, I just seem that way because our priorities go down different paths.  You will always see our parents as good dead soals, but in reality, they're just like me, a blood thirsty monster.  They blamed me for killing the humans, but back then, I wasn't the only one feeding.  Wrongly I was put into the dark castle.  For a while I sat and rotted.  Nobody visited, nobody saved me from the wrong doing.  That's why I'm grateful for this child, and for Nolan."

Ahana's expression changed, she looked like she was in pain.  "Ahana-"

"Just please, promise me you will do as I ask."

"I-I promise."

She's practically a child, but I'm a child, and I kind of was scared.  I lingered a bit as I walked away.  The sadness I was feeling, was eaten away until there was this emptiness to feel afterwards.

"My princess, what brings you here?"

That voice.  "Prince Rah.  How long have you been following me?"

"Since the split."

"Then you understand that my heart will never be yours."

"Yes.  I was sent to retrieve you."

"So it seems."

"Come quietly?"

"Risk my baby? No thanks," he stepped forwards in anger, but he was rejected and sent flying back away from me.  "Do not force yourself boy, there are things you do not understand.  This world is utterly useless to you Rah.  Leave before you get hurt."

"Trust me, I would if I could."

"This baby is no threat my dear, if I was to just let you take the child away from me, then I'd let you, but if a fight is clearly what you want, then lets get this done and over with.  We both know who's going to win though."

"Yes, and it's certainly not going to be you."

"Your right.  Killing me though will send you to eternity hell.  Just wait your turn little one," my hand traced a tree branch.  "We aren't there yet, your not ready."

"When are you going to accept this Ahana!? That baby is killing you! The person you love isn't even a man!"

"Your far from a man also.  You will always be a little brother to me Rah, now please go home and stop trying to fix something that can't be repaired, I'm not something you can just fix.  If my fate is to die, then so be it."

"Ahana you are killing yourself!"

"No, I'm saving another life.  You see this creature as a monster, and I won't let you title my child before it's even born, one day you will bow down to her.  For peace is only a step away Rah.  Now please stop, I beg of you."

"Did you know this would happen Ahana?"

"What-"

"Did you know, after I helped you escape, that you'd fall in love with a God and get pregnant? Did you know you were going to die?"

"No dear." I smiled at him even though it pisses him off.  "Rah, my twin, she is available.  Capeable of being your next queen, take her and leave.  My parents will accept your decision to have her hand."

"I don't want to marry her Ahana! Why do you assume that every man you meet just wants that playful side of you?"

"She's to much," I whispered, kind of agreeing with him.  "I'm sorry Rah, but my love is in the hands of someone else."

Love

Rah left me alone.  His pressence soon disappeared.  It felt nice to be wanted, Nolan just keeps leaving me.  He will never know about what my future is to hold, and he will never see his child grow up.  Maybe some part of me believes that this was insane.

The thick blood slithered down my throat.  That iron taste, the thing I crave most, the only thing I must not touch.  This cow blood was driving me insane.  I had no other choice but to go.

I returned back to the caslte.  Kaya upstairs with KonKon, I could hear them play.  I'd go up and talk with my mother privately, but now is not proper timing.  Onkar was sitting in the living room, in this dark place.  "Ahana? Your back?"

"No, not what you think.  I must ask you for a favor.  I know we never seen eye to eye Onkar, but this once...I need help."

"You are blood lusted."

He could tell, the look in my eyes, and how sick I looked.  "Yes Father, but that's not why I come."

"Then speak you mind."

"I need you to lock me away again."

"What?"

"I need you to lock me some where, that I cannot get out.  My thirst has grown Father, and I must not feed."

"If you don't feed, then your going to die..."

"Yes, I know."

"So when the baby comes..."

His eyes widened.  "My future is far more worse than you know Father.  This baby is going to be my future, you must not tell Mother about this," Onkar finally sat up more and he set the latest Vamps papers off to the side.  "Ahana, if your to die, then she has every right to know."

"No, it's none of her business, or yours, but I'm trusting you to believe that this is the best option."

"You may never have energy to give birth Ahana."

"I'll be practically human Father.  Don't you understand the human kinds ways? They aren't like me-"

"No, your not like them.  Sit child."

It wasn't a request.  My feet slid right to him without even wanting to go.  "Sit."

That might be the only thing I did do.  Sit.  "May I?"

He wanted to touch my stomach...I gave him such a look.  "Don't fuss child, I won't hurt it."

Gently he placed his hand on my stomach.  "A her.  It's a girl."

"Yes, I already know this."

"This child needs human blood Ahana."

"No..." I stood up.  "I don't want her to be a monster." His eyes snapped over to the doorway.  Mother was standing there looking very displeased.  "Ahana, we never locked you up because of being who you are.  What your doing to that baby, is not right, your taking it's birth right away."

"I'm her mother, and I'm doing what's best, if you don't like it, then tuff." Father stood up.  "Come with me Ahana."

I took his hand, I knew if I didn't he wasn't going to force me to take his hand also.  "There is this room in the household."

"Room? I know every room Father." KonKon followed us, then Mother stopped throwing her fit and followed.  This lamp turned into a key.  Father took that key, opened the only room in the house that was locked.  "This area...was supposed to be never opened."

There was a lot of light, and the vines over took the room.  I stepped into the room first, I didn't see why not.  It seemed like the caslte was alive.  Flowers started opening on the green vines, and the old vines that looked dead, started growing grapes.  "This is an interesting place Father, maybe my childhood would have never been so miserable if I seen this room."

"Is that true?"

"Of course, I also wouldn't want to run away so badly neither.  Now what exactly does this room do?"

"This room, takes the most darkest soals-"

"Oh I see, when I got to bad for you all to handle this was where I was going next?"

"No! This room was where you were conceieved."

I think my face drained.  "Right...and your having me stay in the room...where you both fucked?" They were finally seeing it my way.  "Look, Father there has to be a box, or something that you can put me in, and never to come out."

"That sounds bad Ahana."

Father pulled me off to the side.  "You got to tell her."

"I...can't.  You both have the perfect child now, you don't need me, this baby was never supposed to be here, but now it is.  As badly I want to kill you right now, I'm restraining."

"Well I suppose that's a good enough answer."

"Now, I want something-"

"A jinka box."

"Jinka box? That's not even a thing-"

"Not in the human realm my dear, but this..."

Onkar held this glowing white cube.  "What are you doing with that!?" Kaya practically had a hernea.  "Ahana wishes to be locked up, I will not tell her no."

"What about Nolan!?" KonKon practically screamed her head off.  "You want him so badly then go play dress up KonKon! I'm done soaking away my sorrow, and I'm tired of him not loving me the way I wished.  You were a fool," I stared at her now.  "Nolan will live KonKon."

"No he won't Ahana! He loves you! He said he loves you!"

"Stop being childish KonKon!"

"I can't help it! I am developing these emotions yet! I know what your doing is wrong!"

"If Nolan loved me KonKon, he would have given me a reason to stay.  It doesn't matter how many moons I spend with him, or how days I barely even see him.  Nolan will always chose the stars.  Some where I can never go..."

"Ahana! Your dumb head!"

"I'm not dumb KonKon! After this baby is born! You will take her!"

KonKon's lips trembled, and her hands snatched onto the hem of my dress.  "Ahana, your going to die if you go in there, your to weak to give birth to this baby.  Daddy can help you...so can Mommy...we did it before, we can just drink cow blood."

I took her hands in mine.  "KonKon, it's not working.  The child may drink all the blood out of me before I can even touch another human, that is why it can never touch a single drop of human blood, it's not safe.  This box can keep me contained.  When the time comes, you must keep her safe, you must keep...the baby safe."

"Ahana?"

I shook a little.  "I'm sorry KonKon, I'm just the vessel for this child, it was never supposed to be mine and you know it.  You and your sick games.  Wanting a friend," I patted her head.  "I'm sorry."

Ahana's eyes turned to a darker red, until finally they were black and her face started looking like all of her veins were popping out.  KonKon was pulled behind Kaya.  Ahana's hand hit the cube before she could go out of control.

Slowly her body dissolved into that cube.  Kaya took ahold of it really fast.  "No...no..." The cube turned so black.  "She has accepted it Kaya..."

"No! Don't you even dare touch me! In fact! You can sleep with the fish tonight!"

"The fish!?"

"You weren't supposed to help her kill herself Onkar! We are her parents!"

"She made her own choice Mommy.  You must let it go.  Ahana knows what she's risking.  For more is to come.  Ahana will get free, with the baby, but what comes next is far worse than anyone could think of."

"What?"

"Ahana's fate is to die, nothing can change that.  Ahana fell in love with the oppisite of her kind, the other gods at the table have noticed their quarral, and don't agree with her and him.  With that saying.  The Gods will come after Amber, and her mother, and they won't rest until the two are killed.  Amber will come to me after Ahana dies.  The Gods need to see her dead though.  Some part of Ahana believes that if she could prove that she hasn't had any human blood, that if she could just try, that they'd reconsider her being what she is."

"Which would give Nolan and her a chance...would it not?"

"Most likely, it would.  Ahana has been drinking cow blood since she left here.  It makes her sick.  Most full moons she skips out on drinking the blood of cows."

"Then-"

"She drinks her own blood."

"What!?"

"It works.  Except, if that baby gets just a sip of human blood...Ahana will be in grave danger."

"She turned two-"

"No, I did that, I turned that woman and child into vampires, not Ahana.  The blood never even made it to the womb."

"It's kind of scary that you know a lot about her."

"I am her."

"Yes...I know."

"I can tell you badly want that dark side of me though, because of me, Ahana had white hair, but in reality, Ahana never had white hair.  It looked like yours."

"I can see that."

"She looks so much like you Mommy...now lets go play a game!"

Kaya couldn't help but hold onto that Jinks cube.  The next day, she put herself into the cube.

It was just a big forest.  Some piano was being played, and so, Kaya followed what she could hear, and it didn't take long to get there.  Those hands, they just kept pressing down on some keys.  "Why are you hear?"

The playing stopped.  "I just wanted to see you." Ahana looked pale, her eyes still black.  "I hate this place."

This cube is like another realm, smaller, and the ugliest world.  Things seem beautiful, but it's all about the truth within.  "Yes, this place is very...very, weird."

"I would just love to...leave."

"Leave? You came here though."

"Yes, but now I'd love leave.  The full moon will be up soon, and I want blood...I want it so badly."

ahana started crying.  "I don't want a baby," the sky started leaking.  "I'm such a cold virus, I want to go back, I want to see Nolan...I could use a good fuck," I couldn't stop myself from saying things.  "Sex? What in the world!?"

I covered my mouth.  "I didn't mean to say that, but I meant it," I shook my head.  "I really hate this world..."

"Ahana, then come back.  Drink the blood of that creature you summoned, won't that work?"

"Khan? No, I can't...he's not real, and all he does is make me want to sink my teeth into someone else's neck!"

"Come here."

"No...no, if I do I'll bite you, then you won't be able to return back to that world."

"Ahana, you can't hurt me, we have the same blood."

"I'm craving for something.  I really want strawberries," it was a sudden craving I had.  I then started walking away from her.  I found some stawberries.  "Hun, those aren't good! Don't eat those!"

"I don't care...I'm going to die anyways.  What's another cruel fate? If it wasn't for that brat,  I wouldn't be stuck in this, I wouldn't...I'm just not perfect enough for Nolan, or anyone...what am I supposed to do with a baby?"

Truth Hurts

Kaya smacked the barries out of Ahana's hands.  "Ahana! Think about what your doing! Don't do this to that child Ahana, this world will make you think crazy things."

Ahana stopped acting so crazy, "I'm going to go insane here," I cried into my arms.  Mother held me in her arms for a moment, before I got myself together, I shoved her away.  "Gosh damnit, what am I doing!?" I stared at her.  "You must leave!"

"Why!?"

"Because I almost bit you."

"Huh?"

"I...could have."

"Come back here."

"No! I'm not some child that you can just hold whenever you want to!"

"Maybe it was to soon to bring you in here."

"Yes I think-" I smacked hand across my face.  The place around me quickly melted.  We were out of the Jinks box.  She went to hug me, but I felt my hands up.  "No...sorry, whatever happened in that cube, stays in that cube, do you understand me?"

"Uh-uh...yes...right."

I stared at her.  "You...look nice," that's the only and first compliment I left her.  "Ahana we can't just leave things in the cube."

"We can, and will, your not my boss, I'm a snobby pregnant teen, and I am thirsty! So fucking thirsty!"

Ahana grabbed ahold a potion, "that should do it, thanks-"

"You just drank a whole bottle of poison."

"Lucky I'm already dead," the barries in there would have put me to sleep for a long time then I'd never drink blood, or eat, I would have miscarried in the deep sleep.  "Plus, the pain went away."

"Pain???"

She looked down at my stomach, "no, my teeth.  Baby is fine."

"Maybe you should sit down-"

I held my hand up.  "Space hun, I need space, we aren't best friends, and we aren't...well we aren't anything, think of me as the spoiled princess, and a big bully."

"I am your mother, I'm not supposed to be-"

"Your not my mom, I haven't had a mom in nine years, and in those nine years I've lived alone, and the fact you keep coming back, it hurts my feelings, so just do me a favor, and step the fuck out."

"What!?"

"You heard me, now, I want blood, and I'm gonna get it." Ahana then walked away.  Nolan showed up, in the daylight.  I stared at him, "you can't be here-"

"Ahana come here."

"I...what do you want from me? I can't," I held back, I tried, I really did.  "Come here!"

I then took my steps.  My bottom lip quivered.  He closed the gap though.  "Kiss me."

"What?" I knew what he meant.  I looked over, someone was watching us.  "No.  I won't do it," my teeth were begging, but I knew deep down that this wasn't Nolan, there was no possible way, stepping outside the castle, daylight, and seeing him here.  "Your not my love...and I can't control myself from how thirsty I am..."

The image before me switched.  "Ahana!" Kaya yelled so loud for me.  This was one of the Gods, he was testing me.  "This baby-"

Kaya ran fast to my side, she was so angry now, but why? Is it maybe because he some how got past the barrier? "Tell me Ahana, what is it you see with this man, you will never be good enough for him, for he shines brighter than you, and you will always be below him."

This man's grip was on me so tightly.  "I don't care what you say, I will not kiss you, I will not feed on you, your not worth my time, you may have more strentgh, and more power, but that won't ever change my mind, I will never love anyone else but him.  You may see me as shit, but I don't care, and it bothers you, I can tell.  The love me and Nolan have, is something you will never have...so please, let me go."

It was never about Nolan.  This man, he fell for me, I can see it..."I will never love you, never, this child is Nolan's and always will be.  How dare you pretend to be him, how dare you try and steal the only thing I can give to him...you aren't a God, your a horny man, with horrible intentions.  Now let, go of me or so help me be it, I'll take up your offer.  If I am to die, it is the memories of me and my fiance, not you...your a damn fool Tom."

His grip slowly increased then he completely let me go.  "He can't protect you, you remember that bitch!"

"I know he can't," I breathed out almost in complete tears.  "You can keep coming at us, but in the end, you will lose Tom, and Nolan will have his baby, you will not get a single thing from me."

Ahana stepped away from the angered man.  "Then so be it!" He placed his hand on his neck, revealing bite marks that weren't there before.  "This should put an end to your misery a little faster than you think!"

Kaya grabbed a huge root from down in the ground, and she ripped it up making the man fall onto his ass.  "You seem like you need a hand.  Ahana! Why did you do this to this poor man?"

I looked at her like she was crazy, but then she went to help him up, but instead, she sunk her teeth right into him.  Tom stood frozen as she backed away.  "You don't come into my nest expecting a warm welcome."

Onkar slammed him down to the ground next, I mean arm to the throat.  I could have sworn that Tom actually made an image of himself in the ground.  "You want to fuck my daughter! Then your going to have to get through me! Nobody touched my daughter! Fucking hear me!?"

I can't believe he just said that.  I have over protective parents...who would have known...

KonKon took my hand and my reaction was to jump.  "Mommy said I must take you away to find food.  That witch, I bet she can help us Ahana."

"Well it's worth a shot..." I didn't know what else to do.  Lila was so happy to see me, I forgotten about the pie baking.  "Ahana, where have you been my darling?"

"I've been...away."

"I wasn't able to read you any where, it was as if you disappeared honey."

"Lila, we need to talk."

Ahana wanted to bite into her throat so badly, but if she did, Lila might send her to hell herself, baby or not.  "Your starving? As in..."

"Blood.  I can't...I won't let my child be like me."

"Ahana, that child is half of you, and half of Nolan."

Lila pushed a piece of hair behind my ear.  "I can tell how badly you want to feed, I can see it.  The fact you have come this far without feeding is impressive princess."

"Lila please, I beg of you, please help me."

"Okay."

"Okay? You mean just like that?"

"I've been working on some things, just for you."

"Oh..."

"That locket I gave to you, do you still have it?"

"Of course, I haven't been able to part from it, considering how it helped me seperate from my other half." Casually I pulled it out.  My hands were replaced by Lila's.  Those kind blue eyes suddenly turned really red.  She was draining something from herself.  Her body heaved then calmly situated itself back to normal.  Those friendly eyes came back to look into my endless voided eyes.  "Ahana.  Breathe in."

"Breathe in? That's what you wanted me to do? So the locket isn't going to do anything? It's not even-"

"Breathe in!"

"Okay!" I did as asked.  Just as I did, it was like this red smoke lifted up, then into my nose! "Eww!"

"Don't complain dear, here, look yourself in this."

With sudden movements, she pulled up a small golden mirror.  My eyes, they were so bright, red, and full.  "See, now if you ever get hungry, or the baby, this should help."

I couldn't help but hug her so tight.  "Thank you Lila!"

"Your gonna break something dear..."

"Oh...right sorry," she had this awkward smile now.  "Now hurry, Nolan said he wanted to see you before next month arrives, something has happened, and he must see you now."

"I think I have a good clue to as why."

Nolan say so undignant.  "Nolan..."

"Ahana! What did you do!?"

"What do you mean?"

"One of the Gods have returned with bite marks, he's telling everyone-"

"You...think it was me," I stared at him.  "I thought maybe that this would come up, or you'd want to talk about us, and maybe have some quality time with me and the unborn baby, because trust me, she can hear every word I say, or anyone says...but instead you want to blame me...get mad at me...and I haven't even told you my side yet."

"Woah...hold on-"

"No, your a screwed up man, your just like the rest of them Nolan, craving sex from the under gods, it doesn't matter how low I am, I can't help how you make me feel, or what I think of you.  You keep hurting me without realizing it, but even if you did though, it's like you chose not to care.  I'm sorry that I am this monster, and I'm sorry you chose to screw with my evil side, but this is your fault to, and I'm tired of being blamed by the other Gods just because I'm the cold blooded one."

"Ahana-"

"You know what? I'm done.  If I have to die because I'm the only one that's chosing to give up everything for this baby, then I guess you weren't worth my time to begin with." I turned away from him, "the Gods were right, I'm not good enough for you, but that's okay to.  Because I'm okay with this.  I won't be your burden anymore, and neither will this baby Nolan.  I just hope you understand what a risk taker is." He tried saying something, but I walked away before he could.  Nolan grabbed me so suddenly.  "You can't do that."

"Can't do what!?"

"You can't just walk away from me Ahana.  I wasn't done talking."

"I don't honestly care what you were doing, your not listening to me."

"Stop trying to do things by yourself!"

"I have no choice! Your never around! Don't be surprised if you catch me with another man! Tom has had his eye on me for a while Nolan! Maybe he'd actually stick around once in a while! Maybe he at least sees his family!"

"Ahana! If I ever catch you-"

"You'll do what?" Nolan then pulled me closer.  "You are not going to fuck any other man, but me."

"Do you expect me to wait around for you...only to see you once a month? My little girl doesn't need that, it's either your all in, or your out.  I'm not someone you can fuck once a month, then turn around and decide I'm no longer worthy because of one baby.  If I didn't love you...if I chose not to...I wouldn't be the one on the K list."

"Ahana, being a God of the stars-"

"Yes, your a God of the stars! Woopty doo! Yet you can't spend any time with me in the daylight! How many more moons shall I watch with you!? How many times am I going to watch a sunrise alone!? Don't you see that I'm tired!?"

Jelly

My eyes skimmed over a few pages.  It's been four months now.  My hunger has been satified for the most part, but my teeth yearn for flesh to sink into.  "Ahana...want to play?"

KonKon and Mother showed up so unexpectedly, here they are staring at me, because they have no idea what to say about my stomach that has developed very well.  "What is it you want?"

"Nolan, he told us to give you this."

"Fuck off.  I'm not taking it." It was a star, that way he could keep an eye on me.  "He means well."

"What would you know!? I don't see any point on a relationship if he can't even be in it!"

"That's just the pregnancy talking Ahana.  You love Nolan." KonKon pointed out.  "Well maybe this pregnancy has made me realize things.  I'm done risking my life for love, love that can only see one side of the problem."

KonKon watched as her twin disposed of her feelings, her sadness turned into black smoke around her, as if a storm cloud was trying to form.  "That spell will back fire on you Ahana."

"No it won't."

"When it does, Mommy will be there to pick you up."

"I don't need anyone KonKon! What makes you think I-"

It happened so fast! KonKon hit her hard across the face, and it made her cheek red also, "you stop being so selfish! You can think about the baby! No matter what your still a baby also! Why aren't you moving on from the past!? The two of us are free Ahana, and now, our parents would love to be in our life."

I blinked a few times at her.  "So you think smacking me across the face was going to change my mind about them? What logic do you understand? I do not wish, not at all, to be apart of this...family! Your just falling for the sweetness KonKon, remember the feeling of abandonment, then retrace your thinking process, because I'm done playing these games with you."

"B-"

"Nope, not listening."

"But we haven't even-"

"KonKon, I'm going to count to ten, and yiu better take a step away from me."

"We haven't played."

She was right, KonKon was just stating her opiniouns.  "Well...we aren't playing any games.  At all.  Open your eyes and see what your doing, because when the time comes, you'll be the one looking for a shoulder to cry on, and a new play game.  You actually think our parents have time for you? You mean nothing to them, just something that they put away, something they keep safe, because otherwise your just a threat to the throne."

Her eyes twinkled.  "Your the most saddest girl I've ever met! I hate you Ahana!"

"Fine! Hate me! Do what you want! For now though! Get the fuck out of my face!"

"Your wrong Ahana..." KonKon played with her long hair.  "Looky, mommy braided my hair, but she didn't touch yours."

I rolled my eyes, "that's it, I can't do it, your not taking Amber when she's born, I don't need her turning out like you."

"Like me? There is nothing wrong with me!"

"There is to, you act like a child KonKon, and I don't need my child being around you, she'll just end up like you, probably end up pregnant at a young age..." I continued to eye her down.  "No she won't Ahana...I can be just as good as you can be."

"No you can't, your just another side of me, another half, that's all you are."

"No! I am more!"

"No KonKon.  You are me.  We aren't siblings, we aren't anything else.  This child has two mother's, but right now, your not apart of the equation, because I'm doing all the work."

"Your just jealous that I get mother and father's love!"

"Quite the oppisite KonKon, it's rather good you get to know them."

"I thought you said-"

"When the time comes, you'll regret even trying to call them by the names, that is why you must give it up now...no point on hurting your feelings now, just except defeat."

More bad energy kept melting off Ahana.  "Ahana! Stop being mean!"

"KonKon, I never asked you both to come here."

Ahana got up from where she sat.  Revealing more.  Such a sad look on her face.  Ahana grabbed the star and shoved it into her pocket.  "Fine..." that's all she said.  Ahana knew something was wrong, that's the only reason she took it.  Guessing it was almost time, whether or not she liked it, this baby was going to come.

"You okay?"

Mother's instinct kicked in a little.  "No I'm fine," Ahana whispered.  "Okay...how about I get you something-"

"I said I'm fine!" I felt a small trickle run down my leg.  "I-I I-I-I'm fine."

"Ahana, you look stressed.  I can smell blood-"

"There is no blood!" I growled.  "There's water all over the floor Mommy."

"Your water broke."

Kaya stopped staring at the water on the floor, Ahana was gasping for breath.  This baby thing was going way to fast.  Ahana stared at her mother.  "I'm sorry, but I got to deliver this baby."

There was blood every where, KonKon stood near the door, making sure no other vampires thought to take advantage.  "Open your legs!"

"No! Not happening!"

"Is happening!"

One push and my legs were open, I felt this embarrassment rush over me.  I think Mother was also feeling this embarrassment.  This baby was really coming out, no wait, it was like a slip and slide.  My screams filled that tiny shack.  Indeed, those vampires did come.  KonKon thought she could hold down the fort, but Ahana already had that, her screams sent off protection waves around the cabin.

KonKon let someone in though.  Nolan stared at Ahana, their eyes furiously staring into each other.  Yet the two stared, he still didn't stop from walking to her.  One more scream, and the child was out...crying...but the cord was still connected.  "Alright...it's okay..." Kaya whispered.  Ahana's head hit the back of the wall, hard.  Kaya cut the cord.  "There we go..."

KonKon took the baby and did as she was told to wash the little one off.  Nolan stared into those cold eyes.  "W-h-what are you doing here?"

"You thought I was going to miss out of my babies birth?"

That meant something to Ahana.  He placed a kiss on her forehead just as the small child was handed her.  Ahana didn't smile, she just pressed her forehead gently on the babies, and then it went silent.  "May I?"

Nolan held his hands out.  "No, how do I know it's really you?" It was plain as day outside.  "Fine, you want proof?"

I slightly nodded, not sure what he was going to do.  He shared the first memory of us.  As in the sex part.  Under the shooting stars, under a full moon, that was the first time I kissed him, the first time I bit him.  I didn't think KonKon or Kaya could see this but they did.  Trusting him, she handed the baby to him.  "Ahana...you did good."

Lila came in next, how is this possible? Does her entire family know? How many people know? I nodded a bit, feeling tired.  Except, now everyone was in the cabin.  To see this baby, and while everyone started chatting on how cute the little girl is, but I closed my eyes and just fell asleep.  Nolan was sitting next to me still when I woke up.  I don't know how many people cleaned me up, I don't want to know how...

"You ready to hold her?"

Slightly I nodded.  My aching body casually moved, but it hurt, it hurt a lot.  "Ahana, you don't have to move."

Onkar smiled then took a seat next to Ahana.  Kaya sat down on the other side right next to Nolan.  Amber's little toes squirmed, and this noise came from her.  Nolan finally brought her more down to me, so I could see those rosey cheeks.  "Why are you still here?" I whispered to him.  "Because, your the woman I chose, the woman I want, and this baby, this is what I want.  I'm sorry Ahana, I can't stay, but I promise you, I'm going to help you."

"Help me how??"

"I don't want you to die."

"I want to die," his face deepened with pain.  "Ahana please-"

"She doesn't need me, KonKon can replace my image, and be someone that I will never be, this child is my legacy hun, nothing can change...you must understand this Nolan."

"No! I don't understand this!"

"Please stop...I beg of you.  I'm tired of firing off on you.  You don't understand me, you don't consider my feelings," Nolan sighed very long, then placed his hand on my shoulder.  "Ahana, I love you, I don't want you to leave.  This baby does need you."

My future is black.  I don't even know how long I can keep up, my body hurts, and my head feels fuzzy.  "I'm tired.  I'm so tired."

"Just hold on honey...just a tad bit more."

He handed me Amber, and I held her close.  "Hold her head up a little more."

"Shut up," I dizzyly spat out at her.  "Okay...okay, I won't tell you again."

Ahana did what she was told though.  "Leave it be Nolan, leave it..." Little Amber stopped crying.  "I'm hungry," I stood up as fast as possible with that baby.  "Nolan, it is time you leave, I have...things to do."

"What?"

"I am going to take care of the baby until I can't, but for now you must go before you get into trouble.  The sky needs you."

"No, it is day.  Why are you trying to get rid of me?"

"I'm not..."

"Yes you are."

"You need to lay down."

"No, things are starting, there is no time for rest."

"What things?"

"Things..." I walked out of the cabin pulled the star out of my pocket.  I slammed that door shut though.  There were vampires surrounding me, but they didn't even think of attacking.  Who washed me up? Never mind, I still don't want to know.  The door opened behind me real fast, hitting me in the ass.  "Oh...I am so sorry."

Kaya stepped out, then Onkar, and they stood staring at Ahana.  "What are you up to?"

"Nothing, I just really need to go."

"Go where? Why aren't you letting us see Amber?"

"I-I can't tell you."

Ahana looked like she was about to fall over.  "Must leave." I tapped the ground and my secret tunnel opened.  Then quickly the tunnel closed right on up.  "It's going to be just fine...I must get you to the garden."

Sitting Quiet

The hunt was on.  I left my baby in a craddle in an oak tree.  The garden I chose is the nursery.  This hunt I chose, was a dieing woman.  She asked me to give her a nice barrial, and that's what I did.  Except, KonKon found me.

"What are you doing to that poor woman!?"

"I...she's already dead from natural causes...I thought I'd just get some for me and my baby."

"You've been gone for six weeks Ahana!"

"Go home KonKon."

"Mommy is here to, and Daddy, they are just listening to us argue again."

I growled.  "Leave me alone! Do not even try following me!"

"B-u-but, what the hell is this about? You didn't tell me about this, what did Lila tell you?"

"The garden KonKon, it's safe there for me, and my child.  For now I must keep away from you all, otherwise...your going to give me away to these bad creatures that want to kill me and the baby.  This garden can keep me safe, and Amber, I am fine on my own KonKon, I'm...fine."

"You don't look fine.  Your shaking."

I'm sick, that's all.  I shook my head at KonKon.  "Darling you look famished.  What's mine is yours."

Ahana patted her head.  "Now I must be going."

"Must be going?"

"I have a little monster to feed."

Kaya had her arms crossed as she just watched Ahana slip into this secret cave in the woods.  "So this is it, this is where your hiding."

Amber was balling her eyes out, I shooshed her while feeding her blood.  "Ahana, how long were you planning on staying here?"

My eyes shot up.  "No, no, you can't be here! How did you get in here!?"

"Ahana, let me help you I beg of you, you just took away my only...grand kid.  You also made Nolan seem fatherless."

"Mom, I can't tell you everything, I don't understand how you came in here.  It's unsafe for me and the baby out there."

"I knew it.  You do care! You want to live!"

I took one look at my baby.  "Fine! I do, I really do, but I didn't want you or anyone else in my life, I don't...I wanted to do this on my own, no contact, nothing."

"What?"

"I had a baby in at least two months.  I am in a lot of danger, my baby is in danger, and my lover is never going to be around to begin with so to be fair he's not a father.  Also, if I don't keep myself hidden, then my life may end sooner than I thought, you either stay, or leave."

"Stay."

"No! Fucking leave!"

"You gave me a choice.  I am chosing to stay hun."

"There is no way, I can be in the same space with you, or place..."

"Honey, your not doing well, you look horriable."

She knows something is up with me, "my little girl, where did the time go?"

"You fuckers flushed it down the toilet, so now all I care about, is your head on a stake."

Kaya was getting closer to Ahana, and Ahana didn't realize this.  She kept ranting on about how she really wanted to live alone and how she was just really didn't need parents.  It finally dawned on her though, Amber's small eyes stared into Kaya's.  "Set her down hun."

"W-what? No...I don't, want to set her down."

"I know, but you need to."

"Why?"

"Because I want you to stop throwing a hissy fit on how unfairly me and your father treated you, we were trying to protect you, just like your doing now."

I shook my head.  "I won't ever leave her, I won't do it-"

"Just put her down."

Kaya was calm, and it didn't frighten Ahana so much, so she took the advice, but she was so confused about  what to do now.  Amber was such an angel as she stayed quiet.  "You'll be okay baby girl."  With that being said, Kaya hesitantly pulled her into an embrace.  "I love you, so much."

Ahana just froze up, those numb feelings that she stored into the back of her head, came bubbling out.  The hot gooey tears kept strolling.  It was like acid burning at her cheeks, and her eyes began to get so red.  For how long did she hold back?  Kaya let her cry though, even though she was so quiet at it.  Officially Ahana gave up pretending that she was strong enough, she hugged her back so tight, she let her mind open up, revealing things that she meant to keep from her parents.  It didn't take long for Kaya to realize that she let her wall down.

It didn't bother her, what did was the fact that she so badly was just an angry kid at her parents, and the images of her life in the castle.  Sitting in absolute darkness.  The darkness is what over took her, sinking in.  Then Kaya heard the voices, the voices that kept screaming in her head, constantly.  These voices were wickedly scary.  "Why would you want these thoughts in your head?"

Kaya was keeping her from falling.  "Why are you starving yourself?" Kaya kept priding into her head.  It was all overwhelming.  Ahana had this huge monster lingering next to her.  That's when Kaya placed her hand on Ahana's forehead, and she started taking these thoughts and errassing them.  It was working, giving Ahana some relaxing thoughts, until the memories of sex came up, of course Kaya errassed the rape part, but left the memories of her and KonKon, and Nolan.  Everything bad was replaced.  The fears that she carried around were no longer scary to her.

Their hug lasted for a second though, because Ahana still thought of herself as a big girl and not needing help or anyone.  Kaya smiled though, she got her way.

Mom picked Ahana up more before she could even think about walking away.  "I'm tired."

"I can understand why.  Now silly, go get sleep, I got Amber."

I nodded a bit while rubbing my eyes.  "Mom...don't take control of her."

"What?"

Maybe there was trust issues.  "Thank you...for following me."

"I'm not dumb darling.  I know what a tired mother looks like.  KonKon and your father gave that old lady the proper barrial."

"Oh..."

"You forgetten to forfill the woman's wishes Ahana."

"I'm sorry." Ahana got confused to why she was sorry.  "Go rest my child.  I'll tend to the little one."

Kaya watched her carefully walk to this wall, it was covered in vines, but Ahana reached up and the vines all moved to create a path.  Strong grip on the vines as she walked in though.  Ahana rest easy.  Kaya spent her time tending to Amber.  That small baby had this twirl of black hair going on, and those eyes looked so big and filled with delight.  "You look just like your mother, but I think after just meeting your father, you have his nose."

Ahana sat still and stared out from this opening.  The dark spirits are gathering.  They could hear them, Kaya held the baby closer to her, and Ahana couldn't rest to easy anymore.  The Gods were unhappy, so they chose the dark spirits to lend them a hand, and if they should suceed, their soals would be replaced.

Kaya knew she was awake, because Amber went quiet, mute, and it wasn't her who spelled the baby.  So Kaya brought Amber to Ahana, hoping it would calms her nerves.  The noises outside though had Ahana staring.  "Ahana, do you have history with one of the Gods?"

"History? Some times I wish I hadn't..."

"Tell me why they want you dead."

"Nolan and I fell in love, he took me to his parents a lot.  Finally he took me to the stars, where I stayed for a while, the Gods accepted us, but because of my beauty, the Gods all fell for me.  Tim, was the first.  He tried telling Nolan that I was no good, that evil lurked around me, and that he should just leave me to him.  Nolan didn't like that, so I started seeing him less because of the fight for me, but Nolan was who I loved, no star could shine brighter than himself...he's always watching me, not in a creepy way.  I love him so much, but what he is doing makes me so angry."

"Angry how? Because he's not around?"

"There were others Mom, why did it have to be him? Out of all of his family, the Gods chose a new God, and they plucked him out.  I can't love a man who can't sacrifice his work just to be with his own family.  He's not even getting paid for this damn job."

"He's a man of his words Ahana, and did you tell Nolan about what happened at the castle?"

I stared off some more.  "We aren't ever going to talk about that.  Okay?"

"Fine."

"No not just fine, promise me you won't tell him."

"Why? Ahana he loves you, and if you love him just as much-"

"Just do as I say Mom! I didn't ask you to follow me here.  I'm sorry.  I just need space, I need to think about things, the memories you errassed have left this gap."

"Oh?"

"It feels foggy."

"But a good foggy, because now I can hug my own daughter without her hitting me or shoving."

"Well, you didn't ever ask."

"I have to ask just to show you motherly love?"

"Yes."

"I have a feeling that your lying to me right now."

"So? Wouldn't be the first time I told a fib."

"I bet not.  Now, if I didn't show up, when you met with Nolan that night, would you have had sex right there in the open?"

That caught Ahana off guard.  "Uh what?"

"You know, when you we first met him, and he didn't want to put you down because he thought you were in danger, because you told him that me and your father were dead?"

I took Amber from my mother then gently sat back down.  "Do you, want me to be honest?"

"Of course."

"Yes."

"Wow...under the stars huh?"

"Of course, and if anyone was watching, I guess, to bad."

"To bad?"

"Yes, it's not my eyes that will be scorched for life.  I was in the mood, and he was there.  He's who I wanted to be with at that moment, it was supposed to be a special night for us until you ruined it.  We barely see each other, and when we aren't together, I just lose it a little."

"Lose it?"

"I kind of...hurt a lot of cows..." Kaya went quiet, to quiet.  "How many cows?"

Ahana let out a frustrated sigh.  "I don't know! Don't ask!"

"I'm going to take it, your the one who was all over the newspapers about how all the cows started going either missing or dead."

"Look, I needed something to do, and having no blood was driving me insane.  It wasn't completely my fault though.  KonKon was apart of it also!"

"What?"

"She wanted to play a game, I didn't think she'd kill several cows from different farms." I then pressed my finger to my lips.  "Hush..."

The creature was staring at them from that space that Ahana was just looking out.  Ahana then nodded, "they know I'm in here," the spirit didn't say a single thing.

Maybe One Day

"Take Amber," I can't believe I was trusting her to take her.  "You don't really think going out there is the good idea, do you?"

"I need to get them far away from Amber.  Stay in the cave, don't come outside." I could hear the coiling laughter and such noises that upset Amber.  My stomach turned a bit as I looked at my daughter, how could I just leave? "Don't let her turn out like me Mom," I took my locket off, revealing what was keeping me together.  It was like my energy was down so much worse.  "Give this to her when she turns old enough."

"No, your not just going to walk out there, the very fact that you can barely even walk, is not okay.  They should be ashamed of themselves, going after you when your weak."

"I'm not weak, I'm a mother, and I'm stronger than I look."

"Stronger than you look? If only you knew what you looked like."

"Shut it, and just do as I say."

"No, your not the parents here, the only one whose going to chase the spirits away, is me."

"No! They will kill you!"

"Take Amber, I'm leaving."

"But-"

"Darling, you actually think your in shape to fight them off? With the help of the blood cycle, I should be fine."

"Should be fine?" What she means by blood cycle, is the entire clan of vampires, "Mom your not going to do it.  Don't use them-"

"Stop worrying so much, before you were born me and your father had a little fun..."

"What kind of fun?"

"I used to get into some trouble.  Your parents weren't always perfect honey."

"That's obvious," I got the look.  Mom went to walk out, but I set Amber down in the tree crib.  "Mom! No! Don't you dare go out there!"

"I'm walking out! Going right on out!"

"If you go out and don't come back-"

"Aww, you care about me."

"No...n-no I don't, psshh, why would I-"

"I love you hun, but have faith."

Once she stepped all the way out of the cave, the creatures started mimicking.  Those echoing calls in the woods.  Slowly I tucked the locket into the babies little blanket, but she got ahold of it in interest and started putting her mouth on it.  "Oh...that's probably no sanitary," I tried getting it away from her but she wouldn't give it back, it was like a super baby.  "Come on, give it back..." I finally got ahold of it but some how my spell wore off, and her crying burst through out the room.  "No...no, you gotta be quiet baby girl," I gave her the locket back, and it was like she was that baby racoon from Brother Bear.

Nolan unexpectedly came in.  I mean he just, walked in.  Out of all that fighting outside, how did he manage to make his way?" He's not a demon, or a dark spirit.  "Nolan? What the hell are you doing here?"

"Your mother told me to take you away from this, she doesn't know how long the sheild will last."

He stared at Amber.  He wants to hold her so badly, but he didn't, instead, he grabbed my hands and pulled me into him.  It kind of scared me, why is he hugging me? "We must go, now."

"No, this is the only safe way.  Please Ahana, get Amber, we must go."

I didn't trust him, I haven't seen this side of him.  "No, I'm not going, I told you Nolan." I ripped myself away from him.  "Give me a reason that I should trust you?"

"Because I love you, and you love me."

"No, how do I know your just here for Amber, and you were just going to kill me before I escape you?"

"No, Ahana-"

"How do I know your not a shapeshifter? It would be easy for one of you to get past the barrier," that smile I love, it changed, his teeth were sharp looking.  "Your smarter than you look Darkling, but you may has well give up because we just killed all of those pesky vampires."

"No...they aren't..." his body crinkled and this horrible smell filled the cave, and he had these long claws, with my parents heads on them.  There is no way my Mother would fall for anything like this.  "Oh, I'm sorry, but those aren't my parents."

"Huh?"

The creatures ugly smile disappeared.  "Yeah no, they are a lot more smarter, and if you haven't noticed, the fighting outside has stopped, not because of your creatures.  My parents have this blood bond on me, which means if they really wanted to force me some place, it would be easy, because I'm there related blood.  They aren't that stupid though."

His hand came up to show me more of his bloody findings.  "I'm serious Mr. They are still alive, right now, those heads on your fingertips, those aren't my parents."

"W-what? No! They are to you liar!"

They looked like them, but when I was born my mother cast a curse on me.  That way no matter where I went they could find me, that's why my steps were always trace able, that's why they found me in that old ladies house, and that's why my mother followed me to the garden.  "I'm sorry, but I think it's time you leave."

Such a shreik that this monster made, his teeth snarled at me.  I am guessing he wasn't going to go volunteering.  I didn't have the strength to protect myself.  I should have gave up, Amber would have been more safe if I would have went out alone.  "Ahh, your shaking-"

"No! She is not! My twin is the most bravest soal around! You moon padded granny diaper!"

I have no clue where she got that, but to be honest, I really was scared of this.  "Step away from my sister's baby! Or else I'm going to play one of my games!"

One of her games? That didn't make sense, but I didn't say that, not at the moment as she's trying to save my ass.  "Ahana! Grab Amber and go! Nolan! The real Nolan is waiting for you on the other side of the mountain!"

"What!?" Is he crazy!? I picked my baby and quickly poofed myself out of the cave before the shapeshifter could act quick.  They were every where.  Monsters emerging from the grounds, trees.  The entire clan was still fighting them all off.  It caught my eye, Father snapped a woodland mushroom in half, it kind of was funny, but not funny.  Woodland mushrooms are dangerously toxic, last vampire to touch one just ended up dead the next day.

These mushroom creatures are funny looking, their heads look like big puss infections.  I felt someone touch my shoulder and with reflex I hit them hard with my elbow.  Not realizing, it was Mom standing next to me trying to get me away.  "Ahana! Hurry!"

She had blood on her dress, and it was dripping onto the ground.  Little servants kept popping up when it kept dripping down which meant, Mother is using a blood spell to not only summon her own demons, but she's hurt.  "I didn't mean for this to happen!" I freaked out.  "You didn't mean for this to happen hun, I know, we are fighting for you though."

"I-"

"Please Ahana!"

Her sword flew above my head right into a goblins throat.  "I love you, so please don't die!" She smiled.  "Never my darling, we are the Mahana's family!"

With that she ushered me to this undergrown tunnel.  "Did...you learn my spell?" Mom nodded.  "It's handy Ahana.  Now keep going straight, don't stop."

I held Amber up more, then I hugged her but a little to long.  "My darling, please you must go."

"I will..." She kissed my forehead.  "Don't worry, I'll find you."

The ground started shaking, the fairies that lit up the tunnels started flickering.  "Promise me you will stay safe Ahana."

"I-I will..." This wasn't something I could just promise.  She gave Amber a tiny kiss then left me in the tunnels.  There was blood soaking into the dirt, it kept pouring down the dirt wall.  Some fairies started following me as I walked through it.  The light faded behind me.  No looks back, not that I could see behind me.  Those creatures kept screaming above me, then some light came through.  Run! That's all that kept repeating in my head, the fairies light started fading almost immediately.  I couldn't see anymore, I held Amber close as I ran into a few things.  Those moles are probably right behind me and if I were to stop, I'd probably die.  So I kept running.  No stopping for a breather.  I punched up revealing an opening.  I had no clue to where my path would take me, but I had to choose fast because the moles weren't stopping just because I came up to the surface.

Nolan was standing in the open.  His eyes met mine, and he noticed what was chasing after me so he waited, he didn't run.  "Keep running!"

"What!?"

"Keep going Ahana!"

Was he really going to start running to!? Was I wrong? I grabbed him before he could even begin running, and I held him back, "take her, take her now!"

"What? I-"

"I said take her!"

Ahana turned around and she held her hands up.  The fighting stopped.  Screams and crying stopped.  It all just got quiet.  "What did you do to them Ahana?"

"I said go Nolan!"

The sky started turning purple, Nolan took off with the baby.  All the monsters had a call, and they gave up fighting the vampires, but now they were all going to Ahana.  The rumble of the ground scared all the critters away.  Ahana knew what she did, for the fight was nothing? Ahana put her hands down, and the sky faded back.  The monsters finally all surrounded her.  "Any last words fool?"

"I..." my locket was still on.  So I pulled it off my neck and placed it on the ground.  "Come and get me."

The loudest scream, was from Ahana.

Just a Tad

Ahana disappeared.  No body, no trace.  Not even the blood bond could pick up her trace.  Did she just disappear into dust? Kaya looked for Amber because she thought Amber would be with her mother and that they were all safe.  Nolan though just wouldn't speak, he held the poor child close to him.  His anger radiating off his back.  "Nolan!? Where is Ahana!?"

"Take Amber."

"What?"

"I'm getting my girl back! Now take the baby!"

"What happened to her!? Where is Ahana!?"

"Ahana is with Tim.  This is what he wanted, baby is gone, and to make her his, he'd need to get rid of the baby, make us believe that she's dead."

"You mean, this man went to war with us, just to be some sick asshole wanting her to himself?"

"Correct."

"Fuck that, if you think your getting her on your own, then you better think twice."

"Uh...right."

Seeing KonKon still alive made his eye twitch.  "How are you not dead?"

"I sent Ahana off.  There was a shapshifter dressed up as you and the garden didn't sense it."

"Oh?"

"Where is she? I want to play now."

"Well...at this moment, not here.  We must hurry, there's no telling what he's planning on doing to her."

"What?"

Meanwhile -

"Tell me my dear, do you like my gift?"

This man is so disgusting! What is it with people? Why does this only happen to me? Can't he just get a clue? "You know, your full of power...almost like me."

What is he getting at? "In fact I've been looking for a bride, I have to marry soon and it's obvious that Nolan can't support you...so if you ditch you annoying family and just stick with me-"

"I'd never leave my baby." The clothing he had me placed in was so heavy, it's bad enough that the creatures tore me to shreds, all I can feel is their claws, still scraping at my skin and digging into my flesh.  "Is there something wrong with the clothing?"

"Course not," his hand was on my chin the entire time, he was just a big creep, trying to look down my shirt, or trying to get something from me.  "Fine, if you don't want to leave the baby, I'll just make her mine."

"What do you mean by that!?"

"I mean, I'll find the child, kill it, then breed you again."

"The hell you are!" He smacked my cheek not hard, but not gentle.  "Keep your hands to yourself old pervert."

"Aww, you whiny brat! Sit the fuck still!"

He was scaring me.  My lips tightly glued together, he tried kissing me! "Ah, stubborn, that's okay, I'll break you down in the bedroom later."

"I'd rather die than spend a night with you!" I spit in his face before he could consider kissing me again, "fucking bitch!"

This time he hit harder, and harder, until I could not think.  "Your a monster..." I studdered.  This angered him more.  "Send her to the chamber!"

I shook my head.  It was a woman who grabbed me.  I pouted and tried begging.  Then I stopped completely because I could sense something in this woman.  "Be quiet Princess, and keep walking."

Mom pointed forwards.  Nolan was right down the hallway.  "Hurry Ahana!"

Wait, what was she doing? I turned to look at her after walking forwards, she was me, I mean, she shapeshifted into me, and Dad came out of no where.  "What are you doing?"

"I'm taking your place honey..." Kaya placed her hand lightly on her cheek.  "No! You can't take my place."

"Stop worrying and just thank me later honey."

I didn't understand but clearly they have this more thought out than ever.  So of course I went with him.  Nolan grabbed my hand and it just felt off again, like the shapeshifter off.  He took me to the bedroom though.  His hands grabbed my hips.  "What are we doing!? Where is Amber you asshole!?"

"She's with your sister."

He managed to get my dress unzipped revealing my mom breast.  He just kept tugging down on my dress while ravishing me with kisses.  This isn't like my love.  Maybe he missed me? "Wait, stop, can we just talk for a moment?" He wasn't listening to me.  This wasn't him.  "Tim! Get away from me!"

His body formed back to Tim, such a high standard man, he towered over me.  Tim's hands gripped my sides and tightened the grip.  There were pounding on the door.  So he abruptly opened the door with magic.  That woman in the outfit.  "Your highness, Ahana is waiting for you in the other room."

"Huh?"

He let go of me.  "I believe we have company."

Tim sat my parents down with some weird cuffs on them.  They stared at me, but kept calm, I'm curious to how they can do that.  I on the other hand was a little undressed, he kind of tossed my a blanket and that's what I wrapped myself in.  "Now, isn't this great? I get to meet your parents in one night."

"I-"

"Why don't we chat?"

He sat down next.  "Ahana is the Goddess of Darkness, Nolan will never be able to compete with standards.  What you were never told, is this woman, doesn't belong in the mortal world.  Nolan was a fool to leave her alone, Nolan fooled you Ahana, and he doesn't deserve your love."

"I think I'll make my own judgements on Nolan, yes he can be an asshole, but never will I turn against the man I chose to love.  You will never be half the man as him, you don't even have a good body type, I mean, seriously? Have you been eating to many dohnuts on your free time?" He wouldn't dare hit me in front of my parents.  "Drink the tea."

I stared at my cup and the cups on the otherside.  "Do you honestly think I'm that stupid?"

"Shut up and drink the tea!"

He grabbed the cup and pushed it to my mouth.  "Do not, force my daughter to drink that."

Dad was being very stern.  "Why not test her reflexes?"

"Where did you take Nolan!?"

"They are dead."

I shook my head away.  "Fuck you!" His hand grabbed onto my hair and his right hand pulled my mouth open then forced me to gag the tea down.  "Hmm, just as I expected, a natural born slut."

Ahana spit again at his face.  Her eyes went from a dark red, to just black.  "Now, if I untie you, you need to promise to behave."

"That depends Tim..." her eyes were dreaming over him.  Finally she was unrestrained.  She gave a wink to her parents then placed her hand on his chest and closed the distance.  Tim though, he was getting a kiss, but not the kind of kiss he was looking for.  "Only I control people," Ahana snickered while sealing her lips on his throat.

It was her first time mind controlling.  Her eyes returned back to the way they were, but his on the other hand...

"Now, do me a favor, and fetch my baby and idiot of a lover."

"Yes master."

It was like a dream come true.  Ahana though grabbed the cup and started drinking more.  "What are you doing!?"

"Relax, it tastes good, and actually this potion isn't going to work on me because I'm in love," I kept sipping it.  "It's bitter..."

"Then you don't mind untieing us and-"

I blinked at them, "oh sorry, you thought I was going to untie you?" They looked confused.  "I yet have to get married and have another baby," I tapped my finger on the cup, "if I leave you here, you won't be able to mess with my plans."

"Plans!? A second ago! We were fighting for you to be alive!"

"I know, I know, isn't it great? Shows me how willing you both were to sacrifice your own thrown."

"Sacrifice what?"

"You both do know, I will over take you? Like seriously, did you expect me not to? In order for me to have order, you two have to stay...locked up some where."

"So your betraying us to become us!?"

Onkar wasn't seeing to this.  Kaya just sat back.  "So what? Take it Ahana, all you did was have to ask."

I frowned a little.  "I'm afraid you can't just give it to me-"

"Fine, then don't take it.  One day you are to rule, but for now, your just our princess still Ahana.  Cage us up, do whatever you like hun, but nobody will see you as their queen if you do that.  Instead, you could just come home with us."

"That will make me look like a pussy." Mom zipped her mouth shut.  Nolan was alive, and so was my little Amber.  I took her into my arms so fast and those tiny cries stopped.  "He didn't do anything to you did he!?"

I still had that blanket wrapped around me, "other than making him a horn dog, no, we kissed and touched each other," his face went white.  "I didn't have sex, his pecker was to small anyways, but you on the other hand..."  I smiled.  "Darling, I could use some rest now," I begged him with my eyes.  Nolan was no fun, he got my parents out of the restraints.  "Ahana..."

His face was white as a ghost.  "What's wrong?" I craddled Amber more.  "The other Gods, they are coming down here-"

"Let them." I just shrugged at him.  They all came, and unhypnotyzed Tim.  "Excuse me, I have another child to make, so if you don't mind..."

"No, sit."

A woman, a very young looking woman.  They stared at me.  "You know what the problem is? Kids like you who don't belong."

Tim just stepped back next to that woman.  "I'm sorry if your feel that way, but do you see this face? Do you notice how I don't give two shits about your feelings?"

"I-"

"I? No, nothing, because I don't give a shit, I'm not looking for a fucking fight, I got knocked up by a man who was looking for a one night stand, KonKon fucked him, I carried his baby.  So your not understanding the fact that I don't want to cause trouble, but it seems the only people that give a shit, about me and this baby, are you, because a cross breed between a god, and darkling princess, highest rank of the blood lines." They had there eyes on Amber now.  "She is nothing but an infant, and you are all defying your own rules...how dare you critisize my family, I'm not perfect, but you dare try killing my baby?"

Nolan stood next to me.  "I control the night, just remember that."

Ahana turned around.  "I don't have anything left to say to you fools, but if not that I get justice, then you will just have to suffer along with me."

"We are stronger-"

"No, your not.  There's a reason my parents kept me inside a locked up castle, I have wealth, and I have magic that not only you wouldn't understand, but be weakened.  So before you even think about killing me or this child again, you better think twice, but, someone here must pay for their actions."

Ending Jewls

Ahana forced Tim to his knees.  "This one, I choose this one to be sacrificed."

Kaya nodded, "yes, I also agree."

Nolan sighed.  "Were you really going to keep him alive as a slave?"

"Course not, I'd tell him to kill himself after revealing my little baby."

"Wait...what about me?"

"Fuck you, you couldn't even stop this man from kidnapping you-"

"Woah, first of all Ahana I wasn't going to quit looking for you, no matter where he placed me...I barely remember what happened."

Ahana smiled, gave him a gentle kiss.  "Fine, that's good."

"So your going to forgive me?"

"I'm the princess of darkness Nolan."

"So? Please just-"

"You'll be forgiven.  After this though."

"After this though?"

"Stop coying everything I say otherwise your not fucking me."

Kaya and Onkar slowly backed away, their faces red with embarrassment, and the Gods no longer looked mean or spiteful, they looked petrified.  "You want to have sex after this? Ahana-"

"What's it to you? It's not like you'll be around me half of the time...I want more kids..."

"More? How many are we talking?"

"just...many..."

"Ahana...how many!?"

"Six." His eyes bugged.  "Six? Six!?"

"Yes, now shut up." Ahana brought her attention back to the Gods.  "Will you let us leave with this vermin to be sacrificed? Your all more than welcome to come and watch."

Finally she turned to look at them.  One of the Gods pushed Tim to Onkar.  "Take him, no further more discussions after this, I don't want to do this again, you win this fight Ahana Princess of Darkness."

"Good."

Nolan took a punch in the man's face before dragging him to the alter.  Giggles of the monsters from my realm errupted.  Scream by scream, his pain finally made him silent.  Ahana felt more than happy, she felt free.  There was no longer a tie keeping her away from Nolan.  KonKon held Amber for a bit while the two snuck off...
